"It's popcorn, technically flamed by an open fire," he said enthusiastically. He liked popcorn to the point that he eats it almost every day. Hence, why he had matches handy in his pocket at all times. He looked at her, knowing she was probably half a sleep. She probably did not know what he said, but maybe her feline abilities gave her the ability of acute senses.

"I guess. I'm sorry I didn't mean to wake you Kali," he told her. He honestly felt bad because the fact that she needed sleep. If it came down to it, he would sing a lullaby with his guitar. He smirked.

He really started to love how she flicked her ears around. It was very cute to him, but she didn't know that. He sat down on the couch next to Kali. He just waited for her to talk.

He lost concentration from his profuse staring at her ears flicking. They were like hypnotizing people, probably caused by the back and forth motion of it. He soon realized that she was asking a question, so after a few seconds he acknowledged, not hoping that she was suspicious at the brief hiatus. He looked around for the bag of popcorn, which he seemed to have misplaced. He continued to look around for a brief second and realized where it was

"Wow, it's in my hand. I feel extremely dimwitted right now," he said with a sigh. He always did something like this. He was always misplacing homework, his cellphone, and even his shirts. That was the worst experience of his life. He had to walk throughout the school with his shirt off because he could not find it, until he realized that it was sitting right in his bag. Some people say he does this for attention, but he knows it's because the lack of common sense. He really never had a logical sense, always getting school answers right, always asking questions that should be answered by himself, and even just plain old pointing out the obvious. When it came to the dumbest smart person one could meet. He definitely took the cake.

So, he reached over to Kali and gave her the bag of popcorn, hoping she enjoys it. It was extra butter, a good amount of salt, and the usual bag of seeds that he eats after getting all the popcorn out of the bag. He never met anyone before that eats the seeds like he does. He could probably eat a whole bag worth of popcorn seeds, which should explain how much he loves them. He sat down next to her on the couch. He made sure he wasn't too close because he didn't want her to be uncomfortable, but he slid in as much as he could. They were about a couple inches apart so it really didn't seem like much. He really did not want to give off the wrong impression.

"Do you like it?" he asked inquisitively.

"You eat the seeds too I presume," he said casually. He actually were quite surprised someone finally did this is as much as he did, but his face did not show it. He never tries to act surprised unless he truly 100% is surprised. He looked at her and saw her blush. He chuckled at that sight.

"Nothing," he said, smiling at her. He got up and went over to lay on the bed. He began to be extremely tired wanting as much sleep as he can before the morning came. He covered up and stared up at the ceiling.

Cloud fell asleep quicker than usual, and dreamed a lot more than he usually did. He lay in his bed, shaking, because of the dream he was having it was horrible.

Cloud was running down a dark path that led to nowhere. His rings shined bright as the sun, but they did not cut through the pitch blackness. The only thing he could see was the rings, and nothing else around him. THe more he walked, the more his rings dimmed. He slowed and then suddenly, his ring's light was gone. Now, he could not see anything. He walked forward as fast as he could, hoping he could find a way out of the darkness he had come to hate.

"Where am I?" he said in the darkness.

"You are within the confines of your own mind, scared to death of the nothingness," a mysterious voice said. THe voice echoed as if he was in a cave and was extremely projected as if he were talking to one of the gods.

"Who are you?!" he yelled into the darkness.

"I am your worse nightmare," the thing answered nack. Then, a mysterious voice swept him from his feet. He lay there, scared for his life. Suddenly, a mysterious figure walks from the murky depths. Cloud has never seen anyone like it. He couldn't explain what the man looked like. The man went to him, a sword in hand.

"Goodbye," the man said. He swung down as hard as he can. The sword rapidly reigning down on Cloud forced him to close his eyes. He knew this was the end, nothing would save him. The sword was halfway there and...

Cloud jolted up from his bed, his eyes wide open. He gasped as he was going up, like he was fighting his hardest to take breaths.

"Oh, it was a dream. WHy was that so real?" he asked to himself. He couldn't answer it and then lay back down and fell back asleep.
