Bix's cheeks were turning red. You could tell he was trying not to get mad but he was failing. He just HATED guys like that. Guys who stroll in like they own the place. "I don't have a problem with you Marcus.. You are the one who strolled in here and the first thing you said was a rib at me. So who's got the problem?"
He was also red because Cass seemed hurt, maybe even embarrassed. "Sorry Cass.. I didn't mean to drag you into anything. Your manfriend is a little bit of a jerk though. Didn't walk up and say hi.. didn't walk up and introduce himself.. just walked up with straight out insults." He frowned, playing with his braid again.
"I'm sorry everyone." He frowned and backed up from the group a minute. "Help your self to the food and stuff Marcus. It is a party.. for everyone." It really peeved him to even be near the guy at this point, but he wanted to be the 'better man'. He'd talk to Cass later maybe about it. Apologize. She lived next door so it wasn't like she could hide from him if she wanted to.
He lingered on the edge of the crowd again. There were quite a few people and things seemed to have gotten rolling. He turned to Jerry, his back to a few of the people. Not looking at Marcus would help him calm down.
"Hey.. Jerry?" He'd heard Jordan say the man's name. "Want to help me plan some games?"

He was teasing, not insulting, and it really wasn't any of Jordan's business, was it? Except that perhaps he should say something. Try to help. He'd decided not to be just the silent observer any more. But the moment had passed while he argued with himself, and now bringing the issue back up would just complicate the problem.
You think too much, Ferros said grumpily. Idiot.
Jordan sighed. Not arguing. He ambled after Bix, giving a friendly smile to the others he'd been talking to on the way past. "Party games?" he asked. "If anyone's got a desk chair with wheels, we could arrange hallway races." Possibly a stupid suggestion, but a neutral activity with physical effort involved might burn off some of the tensions starting to arise.

Marcus shrugged, considering that if a guy wanted to think he was being insulting, whatever, that was his deal. He'd come to mingle and chill out, and pretty much had just those intentions. After all, they were all hunters and all damn new. Pissing contests this early on would just let s**t hit the fan later. If s**t did hit the fan? Well, Marcus hoped that somebody would be making sure not too much s**t got slung.
The guy who spoke up- "A fellow moon man then? Have to say, defense against those things might run from easy to insane. The way some of them were-" He shuddered. "Yeah, hopefully our mentor will be able to give us some good insight." Offering his hand out, Marcus wanted to at the very least get himself out from being a wallflower. "Davey right? Marcus Hasan if you didn't catch it. I'm kind of looking forward to training honestly. Get a good regiment going."

It. Was. SO. NOISY.
Petra's door was flung open, and a very large man in very small heart boxers poked his head out of the hallway, looking like he was going to bash someone's head into the wall.
Had Robert received the invitation? Sure. Had Robert READ the invitation? No.
"What the s**t, you guys." His anger melted when he saw the whole place was covered in toilet paper, and everyone seemed to be mingling all party like in the hallway. He was utterfly flustered, and somehow not at all embarrassed that he was standing there in nothing but his boxers.
He did, after all, look damn good in them.
"Who the ******** said you guys could have a party without me?" No one, Robert, they DID INVITE YOU. "Are there any brewskies? YO, SOMEONE TOSS ME A BREWSKY."
If this was a dry party, he was going back to bed.

At Bix's compliment, Jerry, unfortunately, beamed and tugged at the bottom of said loud shirt proudly, "Well, thanks! I ah... thought it might come in handy on an Island, ahahahaha- apparently more so than I feared it would have once we settled in! It's a pleasure to meet you, er.. Bix!" The nickname was odd, and took him a few moments before it clicked. OH! He got it! Derivative of his code-name, that would make sense. How cute! Zivee didn't quite have as nice a ring to it. "I'm not sure about er... spin the bottle, ahaha... that might be erm. Awkward." And he'd like a game he could join in on without... possible accidental embarrassment of a ***** sort. If the kids wanted to play that later, that was their business. "I'm sure we could concoct something!"
As the young girl suddenly brightly introduced herself, he remembered he hadn't done the same. Shaking her hand as well, he finally offered, "Jerry, Jerry Collins, er... Zeta Four!" If that meant anything to anyone. He had given up hope finding any other Zetas besides Petra thus far... She hadn't seemed hopeful either.
The girl was quickly deterred by a stoic young man in the doorway, and Jerry was content to just lurk in on the conversation before Jordan's voice made him turn, beaming at yet another compliment, "Ah! Alpha! Thank you! It definitely was perfect, yes." So much ice broken with just an interesting piece of clothing! Maybe he'd try out those funny ties he had brought as well one day... Perhaps he hadn't packed as horrendously as he thought.
By the time he had turned back to the group, it seemed tensions had raised. "Oh er..." They were short lived, thankfully, as Bix returned his attentions to him and Jordan. "Ah! Yes, Games! Does anyone have a deck of cards? There might be some in the supply room!"
His bright expression soon faltered at the sight of far too much Robert than he had ever intended on seeing. "Oh... er... Robby, glad you could make it too? You er... seem a bit under dressed. Did you um. Lose your er...?"

Candace was used to noisy halls. She lived in a dorm at college where the idiots would have rolling-chair-broom-and-mop-handle jousting matches in the halls after going out and getting plastered at a frat party. It had taken awhile but she did eventually managed to tune out the ruckus out in the hall...at least temporarily. Eventually she grew tired of trying to sleep through it and got out of bed at the point where someone started yelling about brewskies, slipping her feet into a pair of fluffy white slippers she had brought with her and padding across the room. Once she was at her door she stepped on a piece of paper and paused to pick it up and read it. Oh...an invitation? Huh! Well, why hadn't she noticed this before?
The paper was tossed aside and she opened the door a crack to peer out into the hall. Wow. They really were having a party, huh? Candace pulled the door open the rest of the way and ruffled her hair a bit, looking around. So many people. Geeze. Why were they doing this when they could be sleeping? Didn't they know they needed to, you know, do that? She sighed, but then she spotted Robert in his boxers. They had...hearts on them. It was like something out of a cartoon. She snorted and laughed. HAHA! Nice!
"What's the matter, Robert? Someone punt you so hard your clothes flew off?" She called out with a grin. Like Candace was one to talk! Standing there in an oversized t-shirt, purple shorts and fluffy white slippers. She was totally dressed for a party. Why had she even gone to bed so early? Don't question it. She just did, okay?

Cass seemed to smile a bit at Bix when he at least made some of the effort needed to smooth things over, offering the older boy a thumbs up. Then Jerry piped up, she looked to him...then slowly over towards the do-
OH.
MY.
GOD.
============================> Cass's Face
She immediately clasped both of her hands over her eyes at the sight of Robert and squeaked out possibly the most flustered sound in the world. Hey. She was a sixteen year old girl and she had never seen that much of a guy before. At least not something that hadn't been like.. in a movie, and that was Photoshopped!! It had to be!
"P-PUT SOME CLOTHING ON, PLEASE!!" Her voice cracked and if it was possible, her face was getting redder. Just.. o-oh god. Oh god. Naked man in the room. Oh god. Oh god.
OH GOD.

Marcus had been ready to say something. Until one guys picked that moment to come out in his boxers. And a girl came out in...well- Marcus looked at them both, face going into deadpan. To Robert all he could say was, "This is a party. Most parties require pants. Unless it's those types of parties which it's not." He sighed as he looked at the boxers before looking away. Then he looked at over sized shirt girl.
And debated. Did he say it? "Also I'm going to hazard a guess you're not wearing a bra. While I can somewhat appreciate that, you might want to change if the party games begin." He dared. Looking away he accidentally saw Robert's boxers..again. Just where did this guy come from- Wait. Wait.
Marcus looked at the door Robert had come out of. ".........................." His face cracked a smile. Then it kind of got bigger, until it was a grin. "....Now I see why you don't have pants. Very nice my friend. Very nice."

Bix snickered at Jordan when he suggested chair races. It sounded really fun. "My chair has no wheels but someone HAS to have one. This places is huge and I have found a few rooms that seem to be unused. It's pretty boring reading constantly. I go on little.. uhh.. scouting expeditions sometimes." Bix scratched his head a bit with a smirk. Exploring was pretty fun even if he didn't discover anything amazing quite yet.
Only moments later Robert looked out of his door in boxers. "Hey.. everyone was invited!" Bix tried to do his best not to see Robert's super cut body. People really looked like that in real life?
"No beer. Sorry. I couldn't find any. Maybe the instructors have like.. a faculty lounge we can raid. But if you aren't going to put a shirt on I'm gonna ask you to do my laundry on those washboards." It was an awful joke. Really.
"Hey Candace. We have food and drinks and decorations. Feel free to join the party!" Bix was trying to put his presumptions of people aside, if only for today and because he had organized this whole shindig.
Turning back to Jerry and Jordan, who he was assuming would help with games, he rattled off his ideas again. "Ok so.. chair races, drink pong which is a good team game, and I found a pack of cards in my closet when I moved in. There's like a bazillion card games!"

"I know that its a casual affair but did you have to take it so far Robert?" the disgruntled boxer muttered out and threw a corn chip at him. If he was trying to start a bodybuilding competition, Leon would not show the grace to be shy about his form.
He did however frown at the lack of beer. "Then what the heck are us guys supposed to drink, wine coolers?" he half grimaced at the lack of proper booze. Even if he kept his body in prime condition didn't mean he wouldn't partake in the occasional drink or two.
No to mention with all the crap that happened, he left they all deserved a keg.
It took all his willpower not to slap the vampire host Marcus's head. "Yes he's setting a fine example about being prepared at all times, is he not?" he replied back with a unsuppressed roll of his eyes.

Davey gave Cassandra half a smile and half a shrug. "Army life," he explained briefly. And he only had the one arm to work out any more, so it was getting double the use. Not that he was about to bring that up. "Pretty sure they have a gym here somewhere, if you're serious about working out. Or there's plenty of stuff you can do even without equipment."
Cassandra didn't seem in bad shape, anyway. And a two part weapon would keep her busy just keeping in shape for both different types. "If you ever want to spar with your blade half," he offered. Not much he could do about the gun part, but surely one of their instructors could point her towards a firing range or have one set up for her.
Marcus received a similar offer as Davey shook his hand. "Yeah, we should train sometime. Find out if there is a gym here. Grab the other Moons, see where they're at." The others hadn't looked too bad on the day Caelius was handing out the team assignments. One girl, he remembered one of the guys making jokes about too many guys on the one team. Davey hoped that hadn't been Marcus, he could only recall thinking the guy was an idiot. Hopefully no one was going to try harrassing the girl in their team.
The lack of booze didn't bother Davey. He was used to being dragged along to bars with his army mates when they had downtime. But he was also used to months without, living off rations, water and the worst instant tea and coffee known to mankind.
The lack of clothes did faze him, either. But, as he looked to Cassandra, clearly not everyone felt the same. "Go find pants or a shirt, or both, for the girls if no one else?" he suggested to the new guy. "Some of them are probably still underage."
Idiot. Either the guy didn't realise he wasn't in a college dorm any longer, or he didn't care. Judging by the comments some of the other guys were making, giving the impression to even clueless Davey that it wasn't his own room the guy had come out of, probably the latter. He didn't seem to care about the reputation of whatever girl actually owned that room, or whether she wanted the hookup broadcast to every other Hunter in the building.
"Unless you're going to sleep in full kit every night, chances are everyone will be caught without pants for a fight at some point," Davey said to Leon. "As long as he's got his weapon close by, that's all he needs to be prepared."
Not that Davey approved of showing up mostly naked to a meet and greet party. But he wasn't going to judge the guy on any false pretenses, either. The lack of clothing - and lack of any hurry to go get some - spoke much more about the guy's lack of respect than it did about a lack of preparedness.

"Cards are good," Jordan agreed. "Could use chips for chips if anyone wants to play poker. Or we could do Hearts or President or something."
He looked up at Robert's shout. Paused. That was a lot more of Robert than he'd ever expected to see. "Some people are underage anyway," he said as calmly as he could manage, raising his voice to be heard over the general clamor. "Also, there's ladies here, so go put some pants on before we're all blinded by the sheer manliness."
Ladies? Ferros asked, too-innocent again. Where?
Some of the humans, if not the weapons.

Marcus chuckled, arm arm swinging out and pulling Cass into his chest. "Look on the bright side, he'd not in a speedo, commando, and he's not some ugly frat guy." Still, Marcus gave Robert a look. A look of 'dude, come on, scoring or not, put some pants on'. Looking back at Davey he sighed and gave a half shrug. "I'd definitely be up for training. Free running made it a sort of requirement. When I stopped that is was just habit to work out, now it's just...Use it or lose it." His hand was still holding Cass, trying to comfort her. Stepping so her back would be towards Robert.
Looking at the other guy however, the one who mentioned booze, Marcus gave a half disapproving look. ".....I don't think we'd find any really. Booze makes people disoriented, it can form addicts, plus considering how they want to drill discipline into us, I don't think they'd have it around. Plus I'm underage, like Davey said. I dunno what laws still apply here, but...for my own sake, I'll stick to being sober."

--------------------------> Cass's Face v 2
It was probably good that her face was hidden at that moment, because right then it was a shade of red that would probably be teased. Massively teased. Not to say she couldn't handle being teased byt dfladskfaldsf. She didn't even have the brain function to respond to any teasing she may have gotten, her face pressed against Marcus's chest. Her hands peeled from her eyes, she instead grabbed at his shirt, taking on a demeanor that probably seemed very meek.
Then again, she had been squealing in 'WHYYY' about Robert and the 'Boxer's Only' thing going on. Definitely quite innocent if nothing else.
"Training is good. I'd be up for some against you with Nicodemus, Davey." Cass said, actually sounding about 75%, even if her words were slightly muffled by the Marcus-chest thing going on. "I definitely need work on swinging him around by one arm." Which wasn't a quip at the other man at all - in fact, she probably hadn't even acknowledged he was missing an arm yet. "And swinging him around in general. I've got nooooo arm strength."
She paused for a moment, looking up at Marcus all of a sudden. "So what did you get, anyways?" She inquired.
Maybe someone who wants you two peeled apart as much as I do. Nicodemus sighed hopefully.
