Kenshin sighed quietly then spoke up to Mintz...
"Please fill a bucket with cool water for me....and a cloth or rag" Kenshin asked, not giving Mintz any reason to know why...

"Okay" said Mintz then went off to get a bucket and cloth. Once he found a bucket he filled it up with cool water in the bathroom and got a cloth from there. He put the cloth over his shoulder and carried the bucket with both hands. He set it next to Kenshin then handed him the cloth before sitting down.

Kenshin sighed, there seemed to be no avoiding him seeing, and lifted his kimono slightly to see his feet. By now the bleeding of all the cuts had slowed down, however his feet were still soaked in blood. Kenshin carefully put his feet into the bucket, the water stung his open wounds...

Mintz watched like an obedient and loyal dog. He didn't know how Kenshin got injured, but he wasn't sure he should ask about it.

Kenshin flinched as he lifted his feet from the red tinted water, drying them with the cloth Mintz brought him. Then Kenshin reached into the outside safety kit for bandages to wrap his feet...

Mintz watched for a brief moment before looking out to the trees. He lowered his his head and looked down for a minute. Looking at Kenshin again he asked, "Do you get injured often?"

Kenshin finished wrapping one foot and then moved on to the other, keeping his eyes on his foot...

"Didn't know that. Thought incidents wold be under the category of clumsiness" replied Mintz. He slouched forward with his knees bend and legs on top of each so he could place his chin on his hands.

Kenshin coughed, choking on not his lungs but laughter....
"So your just saying I'm clumsy..." Kenshin laughed at the open comment, unlike anything else he was in contact with. Kenshin continued to laugh until his coughs overpowered them...

"Yup" said Mintz with a nod. "Your kind of laughter is scary. Sounds like you're going to cough up your lungs" he commented.

Kenshin coughed for a few more moments, then was able to calm it down to stop...

Mintz nodded in response and he surprised about the things he said without thinking about it first. He decided to talk about something else, "Does this forest get foggy in the morning?" he asked Kenshin.
