Bix looked at this weapon, now pulsing and humming in his hand. "I think my weapon is charged or whatever!" He said it loud enough for Aria to hear but went back to hanging with the chicks since he was there.

"Nice! That was better. You didn't look as uneasy that time." Bix gave Madison a thumbs up. He was constantly wondering what other people's weapons sounded like. He was sort of pre-occupied with it. Did everyone's weapon flirt with them? Were they all the opposite sex? He turned when Candace called out and gave her an approving look.

"Nice moves." Another slightly awkward smile. "Really. I am pretty sure I would be useless with knife shoes. Of course I don't have sweet gams to swing around.. err.. not in a bad way.. you are just really good with the high kicks.." The albino hunter flushed a bit and turned back to Madison. he always got flustered and embarassed. He didn't realize that his comments weren't very blatant until he went and blushed AFTERWARDS.

"So just Madison? Or do you have a nickname? It's a mouthful." Bix fiddled with the end of his braid, a nervous habit, rubbing it through the ends of his fingers. It was expertly braided and wrapped in cloth to keep any stray hair from getting caught in anything. He also didn't want to interrupt any convo that the girls were having to each other but when Candace mentioned her weapon calling for more he lifted his hand to interject a point.

"Yeah mine is.. making some pretty obscene noises. She's charged up and it's.. kind of weird."

"Ferros is getting nonverbal on me," Jordan said, eyeing the hammer. "That's weird for him," he added a moment later.

Come on. Again, Ferros urged.

"Yeah, all right." Jordan turned back to the target. So far he'd managed to avoid failing in front of everyone, and the vague anticipation was making him tense up. This time, the arc of his swing was tighter, less fluid; he clipped the target's shoulder instead of making a solid hit, and stumbled slightly with the follow-through.

Ferros didn't seem to care, though. The sense of massive, heavy presence he'd felt at their first meeting was back, accompanied by a deep, rumbling thrum and a rising heat. Though it wasn't a physical sensation, it made Jordan tug at the collar of his shirt, suddenly uncomfortable. "Damn," he said aloud, absently. "Okay, he's really worked up now."

Come on! Just a little more! Pleasepleaseplease! I need it! Neeeeeeeeeeeeeeeheheeeeeheheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeed it! Atropos whined desperately like some kind of druggy begging for more. It was getting on her nerves. Candace hummed at Bix and Madison's answers, looking down at her feet until she heard Bix calling out a compliment toward her. Hmm? Knife shoes?

"Thanks. Ah..." She raised a brow and tilted her head. Did he just hit on her? First Jerry now this guy? She looked down at her uniform with a thoughtful sound. Maybe she needed to put on more clothes...but this was the easiest to move in with how she needed to fight! Damn. She'd have to reconsider this, perhaps. Not that she hated it just...even he was blushing now. Ugh. Candace chuckled. "Thanks. Did a bit of cheerleading in high school...soooo..." She shrugged after that.

Hmm..high kicks, huh? Candace looked down at her feet and then at the figure again. "Nonverbal?" Candace looked Jordan's way and frowned. Strange. "Trade you loud and happy for silent, Jordan. She's getting on my nerves." She teased as she attempted another move. Yes. It was a move straight out of a movie. Shut up.

She jumped as high as she could and lifted her leg, managing to knick the corner of the cardboard before she fell back to the ground, lost her footing and landed flat on her a**.

Ow.

But Atropos felt no pain. She cried out happily the moment she made contact with the cardboard. Oh yes! That's the stuff mmmmmmm..MORE! GIVE ME MORE!

"Give me a second, Atropos. I'm only human."

"No, I think it's arbitrary. Jerry's is male too." It was like talking from somewhere else; Ferros's intensity and agitation was distracting. Jordan pushed his ponytail back over his shoulder. Getting flipped by the weight of the weapon was more than likely to happen, and sooner rather than later, but he wasn't really thinking about that right now.

"Heh. She's not shouting at you for suggesting it?" he said to Candace. "Ferros gets offended if I even think in that direction, jokingly. He's possessive."

Bix watched both Candace and Madison make their attacks. He had to be honest, every single one of them looked sloppy and uncoordinated. He did too! He was amazed he'd managed to get the arrow to fly straight at all. The fact he hit the targets was pretty mind blowing. He'd only just noticed that already he was getting a blister on his fingers.

"Looks like calloused hands are in my future.." He rubbed his fingers together and frowned. He did perk as they discussed their weapons though. "Mina.. that's her name.. actually its something longer and spanish sounding but I can't pronounce it so she's Mina." he held up the bow. "She's kind of..." he gulped. His flushing cheeks said what he wasn't able to express out loud. He had a seductive, sexy sounding weapon. He wasn't sure if it was better not to have an insane sounding weapon or to have the constant sexual harassment.

Right. No more distractions. Jerry was intent on not missing- so far he was two out of two. No glancing at the pretty girls in their short shorts and their whirling bladed weapons that kind of made him nervous but on the other hand... It was all a very strange sort of situation. Even when he had been younger and played those games kids do, with sticks or cheap plastic light-sabers or what ever they had on hand, pretending they were some Knight or Robin Hood, or a pirate, he had always known that was just make pretend. Fantasy and fun. He never had dreamed he'd be crouched on a training ground surrounded by whirling weapons and clutching his own massive cannon that kept howling in his mind- that he would be training to fight Monsters.

Maybe it was a dream. Maybe he had fumbled to his car that night and gotten in an accident and he lay in a coma somewhere and was imagining all of this.

It was a possibility.

But for now, this *felt* real, and reality was relative, wasn't it?

He pushed his glasses up his nose, dimly aware that Roar was shouting at him to get a move on. He didn't rush it, breathing in and out slowly before peering between two porcupine-like spines that twirled from the bazooka's monstrous 'face' to aim...

With a blissful sigh, Roarshack barked like before, and despite his better efforts, he was sent sprawling backwards once again- victoriously, though! The cardboard cutout shuddered, sporting a fresh gaping hole of this "Fear Attack", and as Jerry gathered himself to his feet, his eyes were wide and his mouth was contorted into the widest grin he had sported all day. Before Roar could protest, he lifted the canon to give it a kiss on the rear handle and looked about frantically for anyone who might have seen- preferably Candace- "I DID IT! LOOK I DIDN'T MISS ONCE! I- Oh!"

He flinched as Jordan's mighty hammer dealt some mighty damage, and he could swear he could feel the impact from all the way where he stood. "Nice one, Sir!" He called out enthusiastically. That certainly explained why the older man viewed the kid as his leader, despite the age difference- Alpha One was certainly strong beyond his years.

"Kouki? That's an interesting name." Candace was interested in what Bix had been saying and not finished, however. Mina? Minda was...? He was blushing. Hmm..was Mina...a whore or something? Did she make suggestive comments? Awwww, did Bixypoo need an adult? Poor baaaaaaby. "She's kind of what? We're all adults here." She paused, giving a few of the trainees a glance, Gale, Madison and Cass in particular. "Well, mostly." It was interesting when one realized a few of the hunters were still children. Were they really mature enough to be responsible like this?

Atropos purred into Candace's mind. Candace..please...may I have some more? Candace shook her head. No, she wasn't giving Atropos more than she was being told to give her. She would wait for Aria.

One final blow from Roar and a cheer from Jerry got her attention, grinning at his cheers. Awww! How cute! "Great job, Jerry!" She clapped for him, carefully walking up to him. She was careful because she was still wary of the blades hitting her shins.

"How's Roar taking it?" Everyone but Jordan had said their weapons were happy. She looked around to see how everyone else was doing. Cass had her eyes widening with envy. Whoa! Look at those hits! "You're pretty good with that thing!"

It seemed being complimented threw Cass's 'groove' off just a bit, looking over towards Candace, then at the blade that she'd swung and horribly missed with. Somehow, it didn't seem to bother her at all, instead just scratching the back of her head a little.

"I'm just getting lucky, really." she said, making a point to not boast. Nicodemus pushed agreement on that note into her head. Because really, that's all it was;

Luck.

She looked over her blade once it wasn't...trying to make friends with the ground again, looking over the edge.

"Oh good....I didn't break it.." she sighed, seeming relieved. She was sure if she had, she would have been back into the headache zone.
