Well I to am on the quest for belly reformation and from what I've heard belly dancing seems to be the best thing. Gotta love those extra bens too. So you have stretch marks, it comes with the territory. I have individual road maps on my belly! redface

When gaining weight or stuffing use lotion on your belleh. It helps avoid stretch marks. If the rolls upset you, wear looser clothing, and they will gradually fill out. But some rolls are unavoidable, and most BBWs have a couple. 3nodding

If you're really concerned about stretch marks, you can always try some liquid vitamin E. It should help...but even if it doesn't do a whole lot for the marks, it'll make your skin smooth and moisturized...That's a plus. sweatdrop
And belly dancing really is cool. Especially if you have a real belly [as opposed to one of those fake bellies? xp ].

I have the exact same problem. o____o"
It's pretty daunting. Stretchmarks are the anti-christ. I have them going up to halfway on my belly, so they look like these weird flames or something. They're so weird to touch. u_u"
Vitamin E helps - Try looking around for a type of oil that Palmers makes for stretchmarks. It's got cocoa butter and vitamin E and stuff in it, and it smells beautiful.
Having said that, there's no real magical cure for them. The vitamin E is good for getting them to fade and to prevent more, but you can't get rid of them completely. Mine're so bad, my mum's offered to get me a tummy tuck. I'm seriously considering it, but that's just me.

And I have to mention it although I'd probably never buy it... They are now making a specialty lotion for stretchmarks (for pregnant women). sweatdrop Edit: I am a dope for not reading the page before this one. Someone already said that. ~_~ So sue me, I'm tired as hell and I need to sleep. crying

Fuzzy Necromancer The middle fold may be from wearing pants that are to tight. The belly grows more in areas where it is unrestrained and can wind up being impeded by a constricting waistband. I have no idea what to do about lumps. Is this factual or just raw speculation?

This is fact; I have the same problem. Or would it just be pure coincidence that the fold happens to lie exactly where the waistband of my pants is? smile

This is fact; I have the same problem. Or would it just be pure coincidence that the fold happens to lie exactly where the waistband of my pants is? smile I used to have that problem as well, but I went on a shopping spree and bought myself pants that wouldn't cause that problem. It took me awhile, but I eventually found pants that don't cut into my massive gut...you don't have to spend an arm and leg to get better fitting pants, I usually go shopping over at the Salvation Army/Value Village so I can get my money's worth...that may be an option for you ^_^. Rosey_Lee I know I have a few of my own. You and me both...and cocoa butter doesn't get rid of them or prevent them as much as people think it does...I've slathered so much of that damn stuff in the past that I shouldn't have a stretch mark on me, but unfortunately I'm still plagued with them *sighs deeply* "| In other news... I'm going from thread to thread to let you all know that there is a new announcement and I suggest you all take the time to read it, thank you kindly heart

Dopetoinfinity_13 well...my only suggestion is to wear everything looser and let yourself fill out of the folds, and as for stretchmarks theres alot of guys who think those are cute wearing looser clothes does'nt always work.... my great grandmother in her infinite wisdom refused to buy me new pants for along time when i was younger to entice me to lose weight, or at least maintain and grow into it.... needless to say that idea failed and now i'm stuck with this huge fold unless i lose enough weight to have plastic surgery to take it off.. sweatdrop
