Sadly, he hadn't fallen asleep, seeing as he had sat upwhen Avery had moved. "What 're you dooin'?" He asked in a hasty whisper, his eyes wide in fear, not wanting to wake either of the rooms other occupants.

Avery looked back at Evan, grinning again. "Ex--plorin'." He responded quietly. He grabbed one of the figurines and looked it over with vague interest. Once he was done he put it back, but it was obvious it had been moved. He then moved on to the closet and began to open it to have a look inside.

The boy sighed, whimpering slightly before laying back down on the pillow and just watching the other, the hair on the back of his neck standing on end again, but he moved his hand back to press it down. "Dun make lossa noise..." he whispered.

Avery looked back and waved a hand at Evan dismissively, he knew what he was doing. At least he did for a few seconds until he managed to dislodge something in the closet which sent a cascade of clothing down on top of him. "A--ah!" The cry was muffled due to the clothing, thankfully. He struggled for a moment before he finally managed to at least poke his head out. "T--oo many clo---thes." He frowned and started to wiggle his way out again.

Evan quickly got up and started picking the clothes up and off of the ghost, a sad looking frown on his lips. "Careful.." he sighed as he put the clothes away, most of them for the older boys in the room.

Avery rolled out of the pile as soon as he had the chance, though he did indeed notice the sad look on Evan's face. "Wh--y so... sa--ad?" He reached out and took one of Evan's hands in his own, a rather serious expression on his face. "Wh--y not be ha--appy? Th--ings are m--uch be--etter that w--ay."

"Wont chaange anythin'.." Evan frowned more as he looked at his hand that was being held by the other boy, only now noticing how cold he was. The temperature difference alone was enough to make him shiver again.

The serious look turned into a frown and he let go of Evan's hand. "Y--ou are mo--re int---eresting no--t sa--ad." He stood up, looking down at the pile of clothing. He supposed he should put it back but it was too high up so... he opted to just push it back into the closet and wedge the door shut to keep it all inside. "Wh--at y--ou do.. he--re? No--t mu--ch to... do."

The boys frown stayed on his face, " 'm not interesstin." he muttered as he helped Avery put the clothes back into the closet, albeit haphazardly. "I sleeeep .. an' lay 'round. Stay quieet... dun wanna wake dem.."

"Y--es, y--ou are." He looked back over his shoulder. "Th--ere is... som--ething... o--ff abo--ut y--ou. It--s in--teresting." He grinned again, though it was more sly. Like he could tell just from observing that Evan was perhaps, not as normal as he portrayed himself to be. "Li--ke y--ou are--nt... nor--mal." Avery turned to face Evan, allowing himself to float up a bit and stare down at him with that... rather creepy gaze and sly grin plastered across his face. "Th--ats a--all bor--ing. Wh--y th--ey matt--er so m--uch?"

The shiver was back, but this time stronger, shaking his whole body as the other continued to grin and gaze at him, his eyes slightly wide in fear.. or was it shock? "T-..they.." he paused, a little confused why he had stammered so suddenly, "They oolder.. "

"S--o?" Avery tilted his head. "Do--esn't me--an the--y matt--er mo--re tha--n y--ou." He floated back over to the makeshift bed. "Wh--y y--ou no--t get a re--al b--ed?" He pointed down at it with a disapproving shake of his head. "B--ut the--y do?" He then gestured to the sleeping teens.
"It--s no--t fa--ir."
