Roch was too busy staring at Danny to even notice Xiu's expectant look. "Seriously. Just put the cards down already because you definitely don't know what you're doing," he said, snorting and shaking his head. Pot, meet kettle. "To call means you'll equal my bet. That you offer a story in case you lose. To raise it means you'll do even more than what I'm betting--"

And there was another ghoul here. What. The. Jack, he thought as he finally noticed Hel. He laid odds that she didn't know how to play, either. How the hell did a five person game turn out like this?

Maybe they should give up on the game for now and just jam or something, he thought, eying his pathetic excuse for a hand. "I'm hungry," he said abruptly. "Anyone think we should order pizza?"

Demi scoffed at Roch and his bet. "I hope your story involves a painful fall on a important place." he snickered quietly before picking up his new cards. He didn't bat an eye as he merged the two sets of cards together and took another bite out of the playing card spookie. "Fine, then I call with my "No clothes in the forest" story, and what I came across in my travels.

He did spot the new arrival at the room. "Hey Hel, we meet again!" he said, enthusiastically waving her over to join them at the table. The more the merrier and the dual toned reaper was indeed interesting to the hellhound. "You can learn with us if you don't know how to play." he said with a grin.

The green eared boil just rolled his eyes at the eventual phrase that Roch was going to say. "When aren't you hungry dude?"

Hel turned towards the Baku when she approached, easily remembering her from Ash’s booth during the Festival (it helped that she was rather adorable too!). “How are you?” The reaper questioned, reaching out to give the smaller ghoul’s shoulder a firm, friendly pat before resting her hands back on her hips. Her expression turned a bit sour when asked if she played poker. “No, I…” She trailed off though as she was suddenly addressed by Danny. The ghoul grinned back at her, appreciating another friendly face, before blinking. Two people in one place huh? That was a new one she hadn’t heard before! Luckily it seemed that the ghoul wasn’t trying to offend her though, so Hel let it slide. “Uh, thanks I suppose…Nice to meet you!”

Her head turned now to Demi, and she waved back. “Indeed! Good to see you.” She was also about to decline Demi’s kind offer until her troll of a neighbor spoke up. The reaper’s eyes narrowed as her lips quirked upwards, and she gave Xiu’s shoulder a fond squeeze before releasing the kind ghoul. “That is alright Xiu…I think I will just…observe for now. Don’t let me interrupt your game, friends.” While she didn’t want to seem like she was backing down from a challenge, she was playing the smarter route this time here, and saving herself from failing miserably in front of others.

The reaper then reached out and slung an arm around Mot’s shoulders, leveling her narrowed gaze at him. “Oh yes, I just loved how you took advantage of me.” She replied, mocking him. She should have known better than to agree to a card game with someone who was pro at it!

Roch looked at her, having already gotten the pizza place on the phone. "I'll take care of it," he told her. "You wouldn't know what you wanted anyway, you BURN everything you wanna eat." He waited for the phone to answer, then placed a massive order of six pizzas, all with different toppings.
