Opal shrugged. "I don't know." She thought a bit then blushed shyly. "Maybe we could try to have children of our own? We are alone for once and it is something I really do want. Just don't want to do that in front of the others."

Ion blushed at hr but grinned. "I don't blame you at all Opal i don't want to do that in front of others either." He shuffled closer and touched his soft nose to her check. "Now, are you sure you want children now? because once this starts, we cannot reverse the process. I want children too, I just want to make sure that we as a team are prepared to handle it." Ion swished his tail over Opal's back in a loving caress.

Opal smiled. "Of course. It was rather nice having a foal around. I should like to have some of my own." She nuzzled his neck before giving him a lite n**. "Besides I want a large family! So we might as well get started now." She gave him a huge grin.

"Ouch!" he smiled winningly, the n** hadn't hurt and he was in a playful mood so he nipped back and pinned his ears in mock furry. "How dare you, my love bite me?!" he asked with incredulity. "Yes I want a large family as well." Ion nosed under her mane to the soft parts on her neck and rubbed them with his face.

Opal raised an eyebrow. "Hmmmph! See if I want children with you now!" Pretends to be all hurt and walks away.

Ion runs after Opal and starts nipping her bum. Then he siddle up beside her and gently hip -checks her. "Now, my love, would you rather have foals with Tide? Even though I am ever more handsome,charming and caring then he, I at least don't run away screaming from the slugs like the ones you hide in his bed." Ion grinned at her. He figured that mentioning Tide would bring a look of chagrined disgust to her face and waited for the result. He was completely kidding about this.

Opal snickered on the inside as she gave Ion a serious face. "Do you think Tide would have me? I mean he is dreamy after all." Does a cute little sigh then cracks up laughing. "You are a funny fella." Then moves her head over to n** him once more. "Besides have to love little love nips."

Ion's face scrunched up as he thought she actually considered it. "Bah!" Then he laughed when she caved. "Yes i love love nips." he laughed. Then he became serious and slowly ran his muzzle along her neck. "You are so precious to me Opal, worth so much more than any multicolored stone."

Opal grins. "I better be. Or I would have to go find a different stud to be with." She winked at him. "So how about we go find some where a bit more private and try for some foals?"

"Hmmm, There is a little valley in the fields that is quite secluded with a lovely little stream and dense brush for privacy? Or would you prefer a forest?" Ion asked. "Perhaps you know of a place that would suit?"

Opal blushed a bit. "I think where you know would be just fine. I haven't roamed much of the lands so have seen very few places." She gave him a nervous smile. "Now we are sure we are really ready for this right?"

"I am ready my love." Ion said and rubbed his cheek along hers. "Follow me to the valley, I think you will appreciate it, it is quiet and secluded and almost as pretty as you." Ion started to lead the way, he kept it slow so Opal was abreast of him along the way.

"I don't know but I hope to high azreth that they will get your mane!" Ion was delighted at the prospect of babies. They were so warm and soft and lovely and they would be his this time!

Opal blinked. "My mane? Why my mane?" She blushed a bit. "Do tell me." What was so wonderful about her mane? It looked rather normal and plain to her. She eyed him a bit.
