Solaris laughed, "I think that you are right love....Now rest..." He licked her neck. "You have journeyed much today and you deserve a quick nap. I will watch the kids while your asleep." He kissed her gently, then settled his head on her back. "I will wake you in a little while then one of us can go hunting and bring it back to the cave. Until the babies hatch I don't think we should take them from the cave. But I think it would be a good idea to talk to them and give them attention. it would make healthier babies."

She smiled as she nodded. "Alright... It will be nice to get some rest..." She chuckled when he licked her neck. "Your so sweet." She smiled as she closed her eyes and curled up with her tail around her. "Kay... I agree... our babies are too vulnerable on their own." She opened and eye and looked at him. "I didn't want to travel with them but I wanted to find you... I've heard that talking to them makes them healthier." She smiled. "You will make a great dad."

"And you will make a great mom." He snuggled into her as he kept a watch on the cave entrance. He would have to ask Krystal when she woke up how long before the babies hatched. He didn't know how the time line worked with them. Maybe they would hatch tomorrow!
The thought got him excited, but he was sure that his soon to be mate would have mentioned that, and since she didn't he was fairly sure that it would be awhile before he could meet his babies.

Krystal chuckled again at his comment before she drifted off to sleep. When she woke Sol was still awake and he was keeping a close eye on the BCRs. She almost chuckled at the way he was looking at him. He was so transfixed he looked like a statue. Of course the longer she watched the more she couldn't hold back her chuckle. It came out softly but it was definitely a chuckle.
"You know love... if you continue to look at them like that your eyes are going to get stuck wide open..."

Sol looked down at her surprised, "You awake..." He smiled and gave her a quick peck. "I was just thinking.....when are they going to hatch do you think?" He looked back at the rings. "I was hoping it would be soon...but the longer they stay in there the healthier they will be...and I dont want them to be unhealthy...." Solaris blushed then looked at her, "I was thinking a lot while you were sleeping...mostly about the babies....what we were going to name them....what do babies eat....things like that?"

"Yes... I don't sleep for vary long some times." She let out a yawn then snuggled up to him. "Hm?" She looked at him when he told her he was thinking about some things. "What were you thinking about?" Blinking she looked from him to the BCRs in question. "Well... im not sure really... I guess they will hatch when they are ready to hatch..." Another chuckle left her lips when he began to ask more questions. "Your just full of questions aren't you."

He blushed, "I don't know anything about babies..." He looked at her sheepishly, "So i dont know what to expect from them. And I want to be a good father so...I need you to help me know what to do when they do come...I assume they drink milk for awhile. But then what are we supposed to get for them?" Solaris looked at his mate panicked, "I'm already failing my kids!"

Krystal let out another chuckle. "Well... you must have been a kit when you were little." She teased. "Or have you always been this handsome devil?" She gave him a wink. "Don't worry about it... yes they drink milk but when they grow out of it we'll have to teach then how to hunt. we may also have to see what they like first. Not all of them may like red meat like deer. Some may like only fish..." Her eyes with to the BCRs. "Oh love..." She shook her head as she laughed. "Think like that and you just might."

Solaris smiled at her as he laughed, "Alright, alright....i will try to calm down. They aren't even born yet and I'm freaking out." He took a deep breath. "So...did you want to go hunting or do you want me too?"

"Of course you were." She chuckled with him. "I bet you were adorable when you were a kit." She nuzzled his neck then licked his nose. "Good... I don't like to see you stressed out... it scares me..." She frowned a little then stood. "Why don't you stay this time?" She looked back at him. "You went to get the bedding... now let me bring you something to eat wile you relax love." She gave him a soft smile. "What would you like to eat?"

"Anything you want to go hunting for love...something simple and easy to catch. I don't want you gone long..." He craned his neck to see out the cave. "I want you back here before the sun sets or I will come looking for you with the babies on my arm." He pointed a paw at her, "And you will be safe...and look both ways before flying off...and looking around before you land....and don't pick any mysterious looking berries....and is there anything else that I am forgetting?"

"Alright." She nodded. "I will see what I can catch that will be good for the both of us." She smiled then turned. "I wont be gone long." She started to walk then stopped. "I'll try to be back before the sun sets." She chuckled then when to take another step when he started to list off some things. "Love..." She turned back to him. "Im not a kit... I know how to hunt and take care of myself." She smiled. "But thank you for the worry." turning she took off out of the cave and into the sky.

Solaris ran to the entrance of the cave and yelled out of it, "And don't talk to strangers!" He added for good measure. Who knew, maybe there were some weirdos out there. And he didn't want to take the chance of losing his mate right after he found her. Sighing, he walked back into the cave and tried not to worry. He really did. But as the seconds trickled by all he could thing about was all the horrible things that could happen to his mate while she was gone.
What if she got hurt and couldn't make it back to the cave? Maybe she needed him but couldn't cry out for him!

Krystal faltered. Even though she was quite a ways away from the cave when she shouted it, she could still hear him. Even when flying through the air she couldn't help but falter at what he had said. Yep... when she got back she was sure she was going to find a worried Solaris in a heep on the floor. Sighing she looked around. The quicker she made her kill the faster she could get back to him. She didn't want him worrying too much over her.

An hour passed and he was a wreck on the floor. He was in agony over missing his mate and wondering if she was alright.
"She's been gone too long." He walked to the entrance to the cave and looked out, "Something has to be wrong. She has to be hurt...or pinned down...or something....don't you think?" Solaris looked back at his kids for support but received only silence. "You guys are a lot of help." He pouted his lip, "What do you think? Should I go after mommy or wait?"
