Abdul tilted his head at the answer Azell gave him. He could have sworn that he had seen this human somewhere before. At least he smelled familiar, but not like the King. There was a slight difference in the ratio of woodland musk and the clean talcum smell that usually accompanied His Royal Highness whenever he was out on a formal greeting with the Azrein. Not thinking about it much longer, due to having been asked a question. "Oh. Well my sister, Dyste, and I lived below the Isle previous to our debarkation. During which, I educated myself in the curios ways of many humans. Your species have such interesting talents, and I try to paramount my knowledge of those many customs and innovations."
The moss colored stallion seemed quite happy to part with his story. Abdul enjoyed sharing information as well as receiving it. He faced towards the other mare, who was now speaking Spanish. He tossed his head up, enjoying that he quite possibly could make a game of it. He didn't know every language, but in the time he had spent on the Earth lands he had picked up cognitive tongues easily. "Yo soy bueno. Es un placer conocerte y Mercedes." He smiled at her widely.
Translation: I'm good. It's a pleasure to meet you as well Mercedes.

"Grimm" the stallion replied simply because he saw no reason to go on any further. he kept it simple when he could. He picked up on the dark under tone a little and while he would admit that made him a little curious, not so much to get him past the one word reponse and make him talk any further.

Mira looked at the three before her with such bewilderment that one would think they had grew a second head. She heard about the vast number of different languages humans spoke below the Isle, but she never imagined that there were Azreins who were multilingual. It almost seemed unnatural to her.
For once, she was glad to hear Abdul's explanation because it was one of the few things that were spoken in a language she understood. Though just barely, Mira thought to herself as she mentally picked through the long words favored by the sand colored stallion and deciphered their meanings. Not sure in how to react, the mare remained silent and allowed Abdul, Mercedes, and Azell to continue their exchange.

There was a long moment before Grimm decided to respond. In that time he was looking over Nina and trying to figure out what exactly he was to think of her, he had picked up on the darker tones but he was yet unsure if that was enough to make him care, at all. While his affiliation was on the darker side yes, that didn't mean he care about the happenings of most of what could loosely be called comrades. There was a mild curiosity there, so he decided to go on and replied simply, "A walk"

Mercedes smirked, his grammar and word choices weren't perfect but good enough for her. She bowed still and looked at Mira "How are you today?" she asked Mira knowing it was not fair to speak a language around people who didn't speak it. That was partially why she had not spoken her native tongue before. It would be interesting to try and converse with Abdul later on but with 'Azell' and Mira there she did not want to exclude anyone. She looked up at the baby blue sky, what a beautiful day, she thought to herself

Borealis was, as per usual, running aimlessly through the tall grass. His unusual tail streamed behind him, flicking out here and there as though it had a mind of its own. Sometimes, Borealis thought, I'm fairly certain it does.Eventually, he slowed down to a stroll; as much as Borealis loved to run, the intensely fast pace he kept tired him quickly. Still, the fading of the world around him, the blurring of his peripheral vision, the beating of the breeze on his back--this made the subsequent exhaustion more than worthwhile. Borealis never sought anything in particular on his runs, nor did he pay much attention to where he was going. Only the journey itself mattered to him. Now that he had stopped running, however, he was forced to glance about. He realized that nothing about the area seemed particularly familiar. It's not like I'll be staying here for long, he mused to himself. You either recognize a place, or you don't. Simple as that, really. The less you like it, the sooner you leave. Seeing some trees off in the distance, Borealis began to meander toward them. A little shade would be nice, he decided. Besides, he hadn't seen another Azrein all day; considering that, he hoped the chances were slim that he'd run into one now. The last thing I need is some pointless conversation.
