"Ladies first." Kaito sat down and watched. "Plus. I'm not that hungry." And he wasn't. Before the whole ambush, Kaito had gotten into some serious trouble with another group of thieves. He went into their claimed land and stole ther totem of worship. But when he found out what a great deal it caused he dumped it somewhere in the desert. They still want him dead, or be used as a sacrifice. He shuddered remembering the things that we yelled out when he was hiding.

Asuks shook her head defiantly,"Then I wot eat either!" she smiled walking over to him she could see something was troubling him."Kaito whats wrong?"
Asuka rubbed up against him."If somethinhgs bothering you I can help, even if its just making you forget it all happened."

"No no. You need to eat. You are almost healed all the way." His tail flicked. There was no way she could make him forget about it. It was to important. Life threatening. "Even if there was something bothering me you have nothing to worry about. No eat." He carefully nudged her back to the meal.

Asuka took a deep breath and sighed, before returning to her meal. she looked up every bite or so to check on Kaito. after she had enough she wiped the blood off her face."there im done..." now kaito whats troubling you

He eyed what was left and took a few bites. "It's nothing you need to worry about Asuka. I don not want to burden you." He gave her a reassuring smile and ate a bit more. When he was done he threw what was left out, there wasn't enough to save and why have it rot in here?

Asuka sighed."alright then Kaito...." she looked up and stretched out."so am I just to sit here huh....Im getting bored " she groaned her ears falling to her side looking over to Kaito. she was starting to worry a bit but decided it was best not to press the issue.
"so Kaito Im gonna take it you dont have a mate huh?" she asked cocking her head cutely.

"Well. If you feel like you are ready to leave you can." He eyes Asuka. "Me? A mate? No." She he had his fair amount flings in the past years, but nothing too serious. "What about you. Do you have a mate?" It seemed like she was asking all the questions. So now it was his turn.

Asuka laughed."No I was dating some guy a while back but he was a jerk...he was a bit to controling of my personal life...so I got rid of him." she winked. "seems like were both single huh?" she laughed. before she sat down."Just once I'd like a guy to actually care enough to let me be me, and still love me for it."

"I see." He stretched out. "Seems that we are." He raised a brow. "A man should love a women for that reason. They need to love for who she is, what she is, and respect them." Kaito himself was shocked he knew stuff like that. I guess it what happens when you spend time around a female.

Asuka smiled and nodded."Last Guy I was with only wanted me because of my appearance. But I couldnt take being a trophy wife!"Asuka leaned into Kaito."But everyone needs lve ya know, everyone needs to find that person they are meant to be with...."Asuka's lips curled into a soft smile.

Was that a bit of brains he detected in the girl? Kaito chuckled, he had his fair share of love, but it always ended in broken hearts. "Yes I know. Perhaps I should tell you a little something." He nuzzled her and leaned into her, his lips were by her ear. "The medicine... was a lie." With a smirk he slipped away from her tp lay on his pillow on the other side of the cave.

Asuka stopped her eyes opening wide."a lie?" she looked at him,if the medicine wasnt actually meant to make her love him then why did she still feel this way. she wasnt mad,she didnt care that he had just lied"Kaito....if thats true I think that I may actually love you....I.....uhm Im sorry I dont want to seem loose or easy I just have this strange feeling still I dont know if its the fact that you saved me the other day But......I think... I think I honestly am in love..."

Kaito chuckled a bit. ”Many girls have told me that what makes it any differnent when you say it?” He looked over at Asuka, his face was cold and serious. ” Saying those words can end in heartbreak... Inspecially if said to me.” He rested his head on his paws and his tail flicked, a little agitated.

Asuka stopped. was he suddenly treating her horribly. She shopk her head."I don't know why.but There's a feeling inside me that tells me to not be afraid to tell you that." Asukas voice shook with nervousness.

"We will see how long that lasts." Since Asuka was obviously better now perhaps he could rest now. He flpped over onto his side, sprwling out on the ground. "If you think it's right then your voice shouldy be as shakey as it is."
