~~Tobias Winters~~ "My esteemed regards to the Heroes of the Sky and the brave souls on the ground. May you be forever safe, my love." TObias shook his head. "Bathsheba, two things. One, you're a grown a** woman. Tell him to go eat a d**k and die. Two, you happen to outrank him. He can't even use the official channels. So stop being a wimp, grow up, and take some of the initiative you;re supposed to have with that rank." Tobias wasn't trying to be mean, he was simply telling her how it was. He tended to be blunt when need be. "Besides, you do realize that as a Commissioned Officer, I could request you be assigned to the 101st as a mechanic, then immediately put you on leave with orders to get n that Bustav?" He didn't bother bringing up the deal he'd made. now wasn't the time. ((Jarid is about to come into the hangar. XD))

Jarid's eye twitched once more as he listened to the conversation. From where he was, and the constant noise of the Hangar, he was directly behind Tobias, just waiting for the next thing he would say. His arms were crossed as he stared holes into the back of the air-head's skull.

⊰𝔅𝔞𝔱𝔥𝔰𝔥𝔢𝔟𝔞⊱ "I'm aware I'm an adult woman. And I'm very aware I out rank my own brother." Bathsheba growled back at Tobias, not caring for the change of tone the conversation was taking, or the insults made at her. "But I don't think you understand Jarid and I, or our relationship. We--" She was continuing to argue, before she noticing the Alpha Team coming in. She immediately drop her argument and watched the Zoids come, particularly the Blade Liger/Gray. She frowned with worry at how badly damaged all of Alpha had taken, and worried even more when she couldn't find Jarid. She had a kind of ritual with him upon coming back from battle, to always give a hug, brief or long, before going on. When she failed to find him, she looked back at Tobias. She knew Jarid would find her and honor the ritual.
When Tobias commented that he could move her around and play with her schedule, she glared at him. "And what if I don't want to be a hundred first mechanic?" She growled. "What if I'm happy doing my current job and staying here?" She was starting to angry and a bit annoyed with Tobias. She knew he didn't know about their personal lives (mostly because she didn't come out and say it, and she couldn't come out and say it), but she couldn't help it. Jarid was her only family left alive. Even though he changed after what happened and his new personality made her a bit uncomfortable at times, he was still her old brother and her only family. If she made it to the rank of General, she'd still listen to her older brother and would never pull her rank over his, and she knew she didn't need to when it counted.
"Jarid is my brother. My OLDER brother." She kept growling, not seeing Jarid come over as she was focused on Tobias now. "I don't let him push me around and let him tell me how to do everything all the time. I do put my foot down once in a while when it's necessary and live independently. But he's still my brother and I will still listen to him."

Jarid gave a smirk, watching the verbal beheading unfold in front of him. He would wait to see how Tobias reacted before he went to greet his sister. It wasn't that he didn't want to be rude, he was seeing how he acted around his sister, and whether or not he would need a nice lovely chat later.....

"Well, you're fooling me. The way you sound makes it seem like he controls you. I saw your reaction when he grought up family in the DFAC. You're letting the fact he's the only family you have left control you. Yes, you love your brother. You care about him. I understand that perfectly. But as both of us pointed out, you're an adult. Your emotional growth is stunted because you refuse to step out of your brother's protection. And before you call bullshit, I'll remind you that you said that Jarid would be pissed if you went to Russia by yourself. Hell, I bet he pitched such a fit when you ended up volunteering as a FAMT Mechanic." Tobias noticed Lightning Team edging closer. Which meant trouble would be brewing soon. With Ghost Team aloft right now and Hellfire preoccupied with Anegl Team's Zoids, Thunder, the leader of Lightning Team, was Tobias' second-in-command. "And the reason I know so much is I've seen the Personnel Records on you and your brother. No, I didn't request them. Colonel Jackson passed me a watered down version after the scene in the DFAC. He actually wanted to put you under my command. I told him no. I wanted to keep the two of you together. So I actually wouldn't put you in 101st. No disrespect intended, but Storm Sworder mechanics have to specialize in them." Tobias stood up, noticing Hawkeye and Wraith come in to land, their fuselage's damaged. "But if you have an issue with listening to what your brother says, perhaps instead of recommending that the Boss keep the two of you together, that the two of you be seperated. Because he's a negative influence on your Professional Development. Not personal. Professional. If you left lower rnak push you around just because they're family, that's a direct violation of regs. Fraternization. Technically, Jarid would be demoted and moved to Morin Naval Base in Brazil. Regs require it. I suggest you have a long talk with Jarid about his influence over you. Because if you don't, the Boss will. And if the Boss has to talk to him about it, one of you is going to Morin. And knowing him, with the Boss's current feelings about Jarid, you'll be staying here where LT Cox, Famt Team One, can make sure you develop into a proper soldier." Too bad. You were doing such a good job.Tobias had lost all respect for Bathsheba. And now had a personal dislike for Jarid. He did not like people that used position, be it professional or personal, to push people around.

⊰𝔅𝔞𝔱𝔥𝔰𝔥𝔢𝔟𝔞⊱ "My brother does not push me around!" Bathsheba barked, enraged now as she stood up to glare at Tobias. "And you have some nerve to even think that. I know my God damn duties as a soldier and I don't let Jarid interfere with them, so he is not holding me back professionally or emotionally. In fact, I'll have you know, despite his God damn behavior, I still have a bit of a personal life. I have been in and out of relationships without him having so much as a word on what I do. He might come in the give the damn guy the talk, but my choices remain my own.
"And since you know so much about our damn life thanks to the Colonel, then I think you should understand Jarid's behavior this morning and my own right now. Our ******** family was butchered in front of us while we were fleeing an attack. And I'm glad you turned down the offer, I really am. Because I wouldn't ******** leave anyway." She growled, her hands clenching into tight fists. She was getting angry and upset. Things were going so well until Russia had been mentioned. Now, it had all gone to Hell.
"And for the damn record, Jarid is not fraternizing me or my rank. He's not stupid or selfish enough to do something that would hurt me." She added, before she left the hanger. If she dared to stay any longer, she might have actually punched Tobias, right in the kisser. And despite how pleasing the idea was, she wanted to attempt salvaging the relationship it it was possible..

((Tobias was standing up. How can she glare down at him?)) Note to self: Recommend SSG Caymen to Mental Health. Priority referral.Tobias simply shook his head as she walked out. She'd be lucky if she was still in the military in a week. And since she wasn't his soldier, he'd have no say. Then again, nor would Jarid. Perhaps I'll recommend she go to Morin and Jarid stay here. That way she can get away from the fighting. Combat Stress affects those not fighting as well...

"If she wanted to talk to me, I'm here all day boy." Jarid growled, also glaring at Tobias as well.
"As my sister says, all I do is look over her. Were I as controlling as you assume, you would already be on the ground with your teeth kicked in." he continued to growl.
"This has nothing to do with age or rank. You're just proving yourself to be nothing but an arrogant punk lording over everyone with your pompous idea that whatever you DON'T like, you immediately try to force them to change.
"I even ENCOURAGED Bathsheba to become a mechanic, and only kept her from becoming a pilot to keep her from the cruelty from war. NOT because I wanted her to sit in a room and look pretty."
"So, to make this short and sweet boy, if you try and force someone to change JUST for your own selfish ideals, no matter HOW you try to hide it behind your useless, hollow words, I will not only make sure your jaw never works properly again, I will make sure you never lord others again. And I don't care if I lose my status as a soldier." he threatened, now in front of Tobias.
He didn't care how much someone attacked him, but when someone attacked his sister in any way, it would never end well..

⊰𝔅𝔞𝔱𝔥𝔰𝔥𝔢𝔟𝔞⊱ As Bathsheba was about to exit the hanger, something suddenly made her come back. It wasn't Jarid either, who she was only now noticing and hearing since he had taken the chance to speak up. I wonder how long he's been around, and how much he heard...
"Easy, Jarid." She growled as she locked a glare on Tobias again.
"Tobias, how about we make a bet, hm?" She tilted her head to the side, her tone still very angry and her fists still clenched tightly. The need to punch something - Tobias, wall, or even Zoid - was great.
"Since you think Jarid is bossing me around and I'm underdeveloped, let's make a bet. I bet I could last a vacation without him, and he could last without me. No contact what so ever. Not even message passing from other people. I won't see or speak with Jarid for days. If I win, you take back everything you said and I stay here, regardless of what you think or feel about us. If I lose, by making contact in any form to Jarid, you can have me sent to the ******** South Pole or where ever you want one of us to go." She crossed her arms over her chest now, trying to keep her hands occupied.
"Deal?"

Tobias held up a hand to his left, halting both Angel Team and Lightning Team in their tracks. They had blood on their minds. "Listen child, you and Staff Sergeant Caymen are the only ones who see it that way. Everyone else sees things as the regs portray. I suggest you go read them. Time now. Because with your actions and words, you'd find yourself dishonorably discharged. And no one will want anything to do with a dishonored Zoid Pilot. Especially one that spends the next two years in jail for assaulting a superior officer because you didn't like the fact he called you out on your own insecurites. You're holding her as close as possible because you're afraid of failure. Afraid that you'll b e less of a man because your sister might get hurt. You're going about it the wrong way. If she wants to be a pilot, you should encourage her to do what she wants, not what YOU want. You just admitted to every accusation I made about you with that one statement. And aren't you supposed to be in full Dress Uniform to report to the Colonel?" Don't swing, kid. You're a hell of a pilot, but I will destroy you if I have to.Tobias turned his gaze on Bathsheba, the friendly Tobias, Zoid Pilot from earlier replaced by Captain Winters, 101st Storm Sworder Fight Commander. "Staff Sergeant Caymen, you are in a section of the hangar designated for the 101st pilots and support personnel. Of which you are neither. Please leave my hangar." And you just unmade everything you built earlier.

⊰𝔅𝔞𝔱𝔥𝔰𝔥𝔢𝔟𝔞⊱ "Yeah?" Bathsheba rose her eyebrow at Tobias, her eye twitching slightly. "Well ******** you too, p***k. You have a problem with my brother then you have one with me too." She snapped before she looked at Jarid.
"Jarid. We're leaving. Shut your mouth too." She growled, before she grabbed her brother by his arm and drug him out of the hanger. She figured since she wasn't welcomed anymore, then he certainly wasn't. On her way out, she made a point to flip Tobias off with her free hand, just to show how angry she was. But aside from all that anger, she was upset. As if hearing his thoughts, she knew the relationship was broken. Beyond repair, she wasn't sure. All she did know was that it was destroyed.
"God damn it..." She sighed heavily and depressingly, slumping over as she left the hanger.

Jarid looked from his sister and gave a nod following. He then glanced back to Tobias, giving a smirk. "So you hide behind your rank again, boy? Typical." He scoffed, waving a hand off. "If the regs hated it so as much as you do, we would have been separated on day one. But no. Here we stand. And it infuriates you so." as he continued walking off with his sister.
The Rest of Alpha team merely looked from Jarid to Tobias, giving him equal glares as they left as well.
Alpha Team and Bathsheba have left the Hangar. All but Bathsheba go back to their respective rooms to prepare for their LOVELY talk with the Colonel.. Bathsheba decides to follow Jarid to his room.
((She told me to say the last section of the exit part.))

XXXXXX.Cameron "Halo" Farrow XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX "The Angel of War." Every day men & women die, as long as it's not my team. I'm fine with it. _______________________________________________________ |≧ω≦≧ω≦≧ω≦≧ω≦≧ω≦≧ω≦≧ω≦≧ω≦≧ω≦≧ω≦≧ω≦≧ω≦≧ω≦≧ω≦| Halo's Thoughts: I wonder if they get mad at people who sleep in the hangar... Guess not. ~~Halo walked down the halls towards the hangar after just getting to the base. He sighed lightly but despite it he had a small smile on his lips as he opened the door and walked inside hangar where he was greeted with the sight of tons and tons of zoids. His smile widened at the sight of it as he rolled his shoulder to get a more comftarble postion to hold his one strapped bag against his shoulder. "Nice place..." He said calmly as he raised his free hand up and ran it through his hair. "To bad the drive took so dam long..." He got out with a small grin as he approached one of the Storm Swords and ended up walking along it taking in it's appearance. He wasn't a pilot of one, but he never would turn up a chance of seeing a Zoid and getting to learn as much as he could about them. He shook his head after a few minutes of looking the Storm Sword over before he turned away from it and looked over the hangar itself. There wasn't a lot of people left in the hangar it seemed but he didn't mind that it was almost empty. He didn't have a room yet so he dropped the bag down beside the Storm Sword and stretched out his arms before taking a few steps away from the bag and layed down against the hangar floor before resting his head on the bag and closing his eyes. Having slept on the bare forest floor at night, the hangar floor wasn't that bad. At least he had something comftarble to rest on instead of sticks and stones. Halo's Location: Resting against the Hangar Floor. _______________________________________________________ |≧ω≦≧ω≦≧ω≦≧ω≦≧ω≦≧ω≦≧ω≦≧ω≦≧ω≦≧ω≦≧ω≦≧ω≦≧ω≦≧ω≦| I pilot a Command Wolf, there are many like it.
