"What did it look like?" Was her immediate question following his answer. "Were the humans afraid of you? What were they like?" It seemed Jericho had hit some sort of curiosity mine, because Riyo couldn't stop asking questions.
Her tail wagged much like a dogs when there was a bone dangling in front of its face, as if there would be some sort of reward in his answers.

Frowning some, Jericho let out a sigh.
"When I said our FEAR was too weak to affect anything, I meant it. The humans couldn't see, hear, feel, or really realize anything about us being there," he said while shaking his head, "We didn't get to see much of it but their skies are blue."

Riyo seemed to back off at his answer this time. "I apologize. I've never had the chance to talk to someone about it.." She admitted. She... Had never had the chance to talk about anything other than business for a long time. "Things I don't understand interest me."
At the comment of the sky being blue, the feline glanced up at their own, trying to picture the image. "What an odd color for the sky to be..." She wondered if it was different colors in different worlds, and if there was one where the sky was red all the time. That would be interesting..

"It's.. alright. I admit it was kinda frustrating that we couldn't even give them the creeps. Just kinda shows how much work we needed," Jericho sighed before looking towards her, "But having that sort of curiosity isn't a bad thing. If you wanna know more, there is a human studies course at the school. Though.. it feels like we end up talking about boats one way or another."
"Then again, I think that's mostly due to the professor's obsession with them... more than much else," he added.
The class he attended involved making boats. He saw a boat booth at Open house. And the final exam he took... involved fighting a boat. There was definitely a theme here.

The feline listened intently to what Jericho had to say about the matter, nodding quietly as he reminded her there was a human studies course. Wait... She'd heard about this.
"... Oh yeah. The boat guy. I saw it at open house." She mumbled with a grimace. So it wasn't just a one time thing... "I'll.. Keep that in mind." Though she saw no point in taking the class if that was all they would cover. Boats were not something she had an interest in..
A sudden vibration from her pocket caught her attention, a hand immediately reaching in to check the fancy phone.
Whoever it was, Riyo obviously didn't look too pleased. Instead of answering it, she placed it right back and focused on the dragon again. "Ready when you are."

"I'm... sure she covers more than just boats. .. I hope so at least," Jericho said while scratching his head. Watching Riyo as she ignored an incoming call, he nodded and continued on with the tour. The dragon went ahead, showing her the other parts of the campus, as well as pointing out where the other dorms aside from the demon ones were in case she ever needed to know that sort of information.
When it was all done, he stopped and looked around, trying to remember if he had missed anything.
"Aaand I think that's about it."

As Jericho showed her through the rest of the school, Riyo did her best to take mental notes and keep an idea of where everything was in relation to everything else. The more she tried to remember everything, the better off she'd be.
Glancing up at the demon dorms momentarily, Riyo stuck her hands in her pockets and looked back to Jericho. "Guess I should go then. The cats are probably hungry by now..."
Though, she didn't leave. Instead, she looked at the ground awkwardly. "Um... I... I really owe you for this." Secretly, the feline knew she was a pain in the a** to deal with sometimes. And that's why she felt so indebted to the people who put up with her attitude without much of a complaint, like Mitsu. "I doubt anyone else would've showed me around after being so stuck up, so... How can I repay you?"

Cats? Riyo must have had more than just the hazcat he saw at the festival, though either way it didn't matter a whole lot to him. Nodding to her, Jericho was about to go on his way, but noticed that she was still sticking around. Turning back towards the bakeneko, he watched her for a few as he thought on her offer.
"It's not really that big of a deal," he shrugged. Though, the words 'repay' did spark some interest in the dragon's greedy side. There wasn't much that came in mind... aside from one thing.
"Well uh... if you really want to, I could always take something shiny."

Ah, she had been waiting for that 'well'. "I can definitely do that." Riyo confirmed with a smirk. "Anything inparticular strike your fancy?" Whatever it was, Riyo seemed sure that she'd have it.

Riyo just had to feed his temptation and thus Jericho fell into it.
"Anything of value really," he started, though there were multiple ways to gauge something like that. A number of things in his treasure pile had little monetary worth after all, "But gold and rubies ... .... And mostly dice ... call to me the most."
Always dice. Never not dice.

Gold and rubies, hm. "I might have just the- Wait, dice?" Riyo repeated, raising an eyebrow.
"I... I don't have dice. But I've got something else. Stay here and I'll go get it." With that, she moved quickly into the building, emerging out the same door fifteen minutes later. It had only taken her that long because she couldn't remember the exact place she had moved it.
"Here." With an outstretched palm, Riyo offered Jericho an interesting looking ring. The band was made of gold, and situated at the front of it was a viscous looking cat's face with two rubies as the eyes. Very shiny indeed.. Though the feline showed no reluctance to just give it away.

"Yeah. Can never have enough dice," Jericho nodded before watching her speed off into the building. He knew she was a pretty wealthy demon and all, but even then he didn't really expect a whole lot. When she returned and offered out a ring, he carefully took the object and looked it over. It wasn't that he doubted what it was; he just had a habit of appraising things as he got them.
It was good to know the details of his treasure and all.
"Damn, not bad at all. This'll do just fine," he commented as there was a sort of gleam in his golden eyes. It was fairly obvious that he approved of this. Looking the object over a little more, he grinned and carefully tucked the ring away into his pocket.
"Anyway, hope your days at the school are at least tolerable."

"It's a family heirloom." Riyo pointed out nonchalantly, watching him examine it.
"... I'm glad to be rid of it." But she didn't go into detail on why. It was none of his concern, after all.
"Yes, well. I'm sure we'll see each other again." Tipping her hat to the dragon, Riyo moved back towards the demon dorms, only glancing back when she was about to open the door. He was a lot easier to deal with than most people, she supposed. At the very least, the third day of school was a lot better than the first two...

Oh? It was a family heirloom, which upped it's value by quite a-- wait. Quickly looking up towards Riyo, Jericho was obviously somewhat confused by the gesture. She didn't seem to care at all that this was a family treasure, which... was generally not how most people acted towards their heirlooms. Something must have happened if she would rather get rid of the thing than keep it.
"Yeah.. sure thing," He murmured, still a little bewildered. In any case, the ring was his now. Watching Riyo for a moment, he then turned and went on his way.
