I think it's normal.
I'm a gay girl, but I adore yaoi. ^^() Once people know what yaoi is, they seem to think "okay..she likes girls...but she likes 2 boys together...O.o"
lol But it's a cuteness factor, and it is art. And sometimes they just have really good stories. Whatever the reason, the fiction you choose doesn't dictate your life. ^^

7_Deadly_Sins7 Here's a question is a lesbian who enjoys yaoi turly a lesbian? I think so. I consider myself a lesbian, and I enjoy Yaoi. Not as much as Yuri, sure, but I do like it. Just because I enjoy seeing two guys in love (or at least in lust) doesn't mean I want a man... Sexually or otherwise. Me too D: I'm glad I'm not the only one! whee

I've been a fan of yaoi for as long as I can remember. I;ve just recently started liking yuri; maybe it's cuz of my friends..? But I know I'm straight. So glad that there are people who can appreciate the love of two people for each other, same sex or not 3nodding

I can understand "appreciating the love between two people" but that's different than getting turned on. It'd be like... if I was a lesbian. A total 100% lesbian. Why would I watch yaoi when it's just male sexuality? What is there for me to be aroused by? When I do not like penises and I like vaginas/breasts, why would I watch something with penises and without vaginas/breasts?

Its like this , certain things have certain stimulation , and by stimulants i dont mean sexual stimulants , im talking about certain tastes , touches , smells , and sounds and sights.
I believe that everyone has a little tensy bit of gay in them.
I dont believe a straight person can be fully 100% straight... now i may be wrong , thats just my opinion , but guys dont always watch girl on girl porns and girls dont watch guy on guy porns all the time , so there has to be a smidge of gay in there somewhere.
and depending on what kind of picture the femslash and the opinoin of the viewer go with it.
Such as if a straight girl said a picture of two girls hugging was cute. it doesnt neccisarily mean shes bi or lez. it means she thinks its cute plain and simple , because she might see a picture of too bunnys sleeping together and she might think its cute too , but that doesnt mean shes gonna go beastiality.
I dunno its kind of confusing , it has to do with alot of your brain workings...
but thats just my opinoin so yeah

Its completely normal for straight people to enjoy reading mangas focused around the love of same sex characters. Some girls like it for the emotional side, males sometimes like to read femslash for the girlxgirl action. Same goes for girls sometimes reading maleslash for the guyxguy action in some mangas. Liking same sex art has nothing to do with one's sexuality. Bogus statements saying otherwise is just that Bogus.
