Setting the hammer down, Marosa decided to try for another pet, crouching a bit as he looked a bit better this time. He felt a brushing against his ankle, starting for a bit until he saw that it was a minipet, wanting very much to be in his company.
Marosa didn't deny it the offer; he picked it up and tapped its little horns thoughtfully, a smile tugging at his lips.

Muka was back and this time he was ready to tackle these clocks with a bit more skill. He lifted the hammer and covered his eyes. He was still nursing a sore spot from the spring that had flown into his peeper the last time.
He didn't even have time to exclaim this time. Perhaps smashing at the clock without looking wasn't his best move. Once more a spring flew out and hit him in the face. Thankfully since he'd been shielding himself, he was unharmed.

Bored by his story, Faint was only interested in helping the ToTer find his rings because he himself wouldn't want to lose his tail ring. He took the hammer and began to work on the clock, hoping for a good result.
Unfortunately, a spring popped and clocked (haha!) him in the face pretty good. He hissed angrily and turned away.

Grumbling about that last clock that freaked him out, Jericho went ahead and grabbed another to see if he could find something.
Upon opening the device, a spring ended up bashing him in the face, causing him to drop the clock.
"Jack dammit!" he cursed while rubbing the spot it had hit.

Attica thought about giving it another chance. She picked up the hammer and brought it down on the clock but it didn't open.
"What the?....Well its not my fault this hammer weighs a ton."

With that done with, he went on and caught some movement from the corner of his eyes. It seemed there were still some minis lurking around the booth. Crouching down, he tried to see where it might have gone.
As far as Jericho could tell though, there was nothing really there.

After the last time bomb as demi was going to call it. He wasn't going to just let it end there. there were plenty of clocks around and he was sure that the ring was in one of them!
With that in mind, he rubbed off the soot from his face and got to work tinkering with the shell of another wooden clock. except this one didn't have a nick in its seal to pry or bash open, it just didn't want to pop.
How I mine for clocks again?

Christof was, if anything, a good listener. As was he good at smashing things. By the time the trick-or-treater had gotten to the end of his story, the hunchback could only smile weakly and then blink at the hammer he had been handed. Well, then. That was something he could do! He gave a clock a good smack- not too hard, but hard enough, he hoped for it to- ah! It popped open victoriously. Unfortunately, the moment the hunchback leaned in to take a peak inside, he did not find a ring, but a spring did suddenly leap out to land in his eye. With a squeal he leaned back. He liked gadgetry, but he decided he was not so fond of clockwork.

Alright, try two! Maybe it was the invigorating exampled Herryk had given previously, but Vero found that it actually had the strength to break open a clock this time. Beyond some ominous ticking, however, there was no ring to be seen.
