Samantha HerringAs Sam went under he sleeping gas she thought about the little girl. She was very adorable and clearly hurt by something. Her eyes showed fear and resignation as she looked on the Dream Catchers. Suddenly that falling sensation you get when you fall asleep hit Sam but it was prolonged as she felt her body descend into the dream scape. Of course it wasn't her physical body that fell, but her dream self. The tunnel was black and nothing could be heard or seen save but for a white light below her. The light grew larger as Sam fell further and faster until she broke through it revealing a vast and beautiful world around her. Sam floated down and landed gently at the bottom of a hill. Surveying her surroundings gave Sam the impression that this was a world based on an ancient civilization. Medieval, especially with the huge castle in the distance.
Using her dream influence, Sam changed her form to match the environment. In a blinding light, her simple white dress changed into a tan tunic with white mesh fabric. The same fabric covered her arms past her elbows and down to her thighs. Gloves and boots appeared before leg bracers and arm guards made of bronze and iron adorned her limbs and a sword rested on her hip. The light exploded in tiny little specks to reveal her new outfit. Her hair lifted as if blown b the wind and half cape fell from her shoulders.
Sam tested out her mobility and of course it was a perfect fit. She climbed to the top of the hill which stood at the top of one side of the great valley before them. This was the designated drop off safe zone for all of them to meet. She then tested her connection to Athena, her guardian back in her own dream world. "I'm in. I'm allowing for a direct feed of my sight and hearing, I want you to pay attention to everything, in case I miss something for research." Sam did just that. A melding of minds if you will. Athena was now able to see and hear everything that Sam could in Maggie's dream world. "All's good on this side Minerva." Athena called her by her code name, a measure to keep her identity safe, In fact they all had code names and inside the dream they would use them. There was much power in a name, so they took no chances.

OOC It's come to my attention that I should have expounded on the role Guardians have. Unfortunately, I don't have much time to do a thorough job at the moment, so I have written this up in the FAQ post. Please let me know if you have any questions! Q: Guardians?
A: Here are some facts. (I'll make a more informative post about them later. Also, these are subjected to change based on the storyline.)
1) Guardians only protect their human's mind. They are actually the psychosis manifestation of their owner who creates the Guardian to protect their mind. Hence only they can talk with their own Guardian.
2) Guardians cannot cross into other Dreamer's Dream World. There are boundaries and Dream Eaters are the only ones that can cross it, hence why they are deemed so dangerous.
3) Even if you could bring you Guardian into another Dreamer's world, Guardians are one of the most powerful beings in the Dreamer's world (hence why Dream Eaters really want to attack and consume a Guardian's power!). So bringing your own Guardian in would warp the Dreamers Dream Scape drastically.
*) These are instated to prevent powerplaying and to remove Agents from their comfort zone. **) Agents can still conjure up powers, weapons, and other abilities to fight the Dream Eaters. ***) darianjames's post is a great example! 4laugh And he brought up a great point on which I asked his permission to share with everyone so we are all on the same page: "Ah okay, I was thinking about that, and it makes absolutely no sense to bring your guardian out of your dream world. You would be completely vulnerable to an attack by dream eaters."**EDITED** **** EDITED****

I live the life of a wolf The wide open space and bright sun caused Raanan's heart to skip a beat. He had never seen a dream world so vivid or pure. It was like something out of a fairy tale. The tall trees rustled softly in the slight, warm breeze. And there was the sounds of soft trickling water from nearby.
This was the part of the job he liked the most. His own dream world was a cold place, and thus visiting those who hard warmth in their minds and hearts made him happy. Plus, it seemed like whenever he went into someone elses world he felt...better.
Like a weight had been lifted from him, the heavy burdens of life taken away to be replaced with a feeling and calm and clarity. He was almost certain at this point that D's constant moaning, nagging, scolding, and criticizing had a lot to do with those negative feelings he had when in the real world.
Sucking in the sweet air, Ran turned to join the rest of the Agents who had begun to appear and gather. He saw Sam, and gave her a genuine smile. It was strange how easily he could smile, how he could feel so good when separated from the real world.
He always felt depressed when left in his own company. Sam was wearing armor, which seemed to fit the fairy tale theme of Maggie's mind. He smiled again, but didnt really feel like hauling around heavy armor. He wanted to keep the light feeling inside him.
Ran looked down at his hand, a beat up baseball bat appearing. It was his weapon of choice really. It had reach and weight which felt good in his palm. Once he had his weapon, he shrugged off the top layer of his jacket and tied it around his waste.
"So, where is everyone Sam? I figured we all would have appeared at the same time?" He asked as he took a seat on the ground to the left of Sam. He squinted, looking out over the vast valley to see a huge, breathtaking castle. Unfortunately, his gut told him thats exactly were the dream eaters would be waiting for them. Oh, the irony.. Ran thought, raising his eyebrow inquisitively.
It was a real beautiful place and didnt deserve the perversion of the dream eaters or the outside world.
And masquerade as a sheep

Suddenly a large grove of bushes nearby where Sam and Ran were standing began to shake and rustle as whatever was traveling through them moved closer to the pair of agents. Suddenly Dominic fought his way through the brush, slicing some branches with his conjured sword. Dominic brushed off a few leaves and twigs that had latched themselves onto his conjured up costume. The costumes was were Dominic had fun with, he never skimped out nor passed the chance to dress up accordingly, if not a little over the top. I mean..why not? “Good day gentle lady and sir!” Dominic greeting with a grin. He had binoculars in his hand, which he then pointed to the distance. “There are a few villages lining the straightest path to the castle. We need to make haste, but how to get from point A to point B. I would have suggested we could fly, but on a cloudless day like this we would be easily spotted. Any ideas?” Dominic shrugged as he looked at Sam and Ran, then turn to look at the other agents...who were not there... “Where is the rest of the team?” Dominic asked with a frown. “Lilli? Lillian? Liiiilllliiaaan? Olly olly oxnfree!” Dominic called out to their operator. OOC I apologize for the short post >.< The weekdays are just not conducive to creative rping anymore. Samantha HerringWhen Ran materialized Sam could feel his presence. She turned around when he spoke and gave him the death stare. "Here my name is Minerva, you should do well to remember that." it wasn't a threat but still Sam took no chances with crafty dream eaters. There were some that have not been discovered and might be able to control a dreamer if they knew their true name. "Besides, what's the use in having code names if we're not going to use them?" she questioned as a jest to make her point about not calling her Sam while in Maggie's dream.
There was a rustling in the bushes across from them, Sam shifted her attention to the source only to find Dominic scrambling out of the shrubbery. His armor was interesting to say the least. Ran had decided to not change his attire to fit in with the theme of Maggie's dream world. She wouldn't question it. She thought about their dilema about traversing the fields. With the world that they were in summoning a car would cause just as much interest and suspicion as flying across the sky. "Hmm, what about horses? I'm sure we could cover much grown by horseback. There aren't any other modes of transportation that I can think of for crossing the land towards Maggie's castle." Sam had remarked.
Creating inanimate objects like clothes and weapons was one thing but using your dream influence to create a living creature like a horse was something completely different. Such an action would greatly affect the dreamer's world since they are the ones who create the denizens of this realm. As she pondered a solution to their problem Dominic began screaming out Lillian's name. "Are we really not using code names anymore? I know it's been a while but I figured at least YOU would reinforce that policy." she said while pinching the bridge of her nose between her thumb and fore finger.
Sam walked over to the edge of the hill and looked down. The towns were off to the side and you could imagine a line connecting each town to the one after it that eventually led to the castle on the other end of the valley. "I'm sure we can find horses at the first town. We can ride out from there." Her arms were crossed over her chest as she looked to Athena for any observations or answers but she too was stumped. Things would be so much easier if we were in my dream world, she thought. Athena agreed entirely but that was not the case so she worked with what she had. Her mind, and what a powerful weapon that was in itself. Sam waited for their responses to her proposal. It might not have been the best idea, but it was what she could come up with under the present conditions.

...However, unbeknownst to him was the fact that Lillian was not at the helm...
Aisha smiled at Lillian’s excited response to her acceptance to trying out the suit. Lillian’s prototypes were usually well tested and rarely were risky to the testee...though a full on suit...Aisha nodded her acknowledgement to wait as Lillian did her rounds.
Aisha’s green eyes watched as Lillian as she conducted the same routine of preparing the agents in their capsules and plugging them into the system. Of course Aisha was usually inside a capsule herself so this change of view held her interest for a while. Her eyes momentarily wandered over to the O’Toole family who were bent over their slumbering child. The mother was stroking Maggie’s forehead while the father held the child’s small hand in his. They were a loving family...a normal loving family. Aisha’s eyes then wandered over the slumbering agents. They had become her family; however crazy, off norm, and scandalous they might be.
Aisha sighed and shook her head slightly before focusing back on Lillian. The agent’s green eyes followed the woman as she checked to make sure Loretta was safely connected. Lillian had been the second recruit to the Dream Catcher corporation. Aisha could still recall watching from a distance as Dominic led a slim pale young woman into laboratory and began pointing out the capsules, computer mainframe, and sensory map systems. Aisha had been in the simulation training and had paused when she was making her way back to the elevator. There had been a glow about Lillian, like she was some ethereal being. Maybe it was due to Aisha intense stare, but back then Lillian had turned around at that moment. Red eyes met green and Aisha found herself giving the newcomer a quick smile before hastily making it into the elevator.
Her curiosity then turned to protectiveness and seemingly role of righteous guide towards Lillian. Aisha even found herself acting like an elder sister to Scientist even though the latter was a year older. As the agent had fruitlessly nagged Dominic to take care of himself, she began nagging Lillian to become...more presentable while in the lab, especially with clients about. But it was all for not with the both of them. Later more member were added to the family. Raanan was the third to join though even then he kept to himself. When given the chance, the pair did exchange polite chit chat and discovered that they worked well as a fighting team. Raanan was more melee in skill and Aisha considered herself a spellcaster who preferred range,
Then Dominic announced that he had been in communication with on Samantha Herring, noted authority on the human psyche. Aisha was again surprised to discover another genius, another young attractive female prodigy was joining the team. Sam had been regularly seen at HQ early on until her promotion when she moved out of the base. Yet, Sam would visit sometimes, mainly to consult Dominic or to be involved with a Dream Eater hunt. But recently she too had been more of a recluse in her own apartment. Aisha unsure what the Second in Command was up to, but Dominic seemed to be always eager to hear about her updates.
The more recent additions were Loretta and then Thanial. Loretta could be seen enjoying the company of Lillian and Dominic, while Thanial kept to the receptionist area (which meant that Dominic was forced to retire his costumes to the closet) and his computer doing...well Aisha wasn’t really sure as well, though he did seem just as sleepy as Lillian and Dominic...but sleepiness was normal for Dominic. One would be worried if he wasn’t sleepy...like today.
Aisha was shaken out of her nostalgia as she realized it was time to follow Lillian. "The suit should let you catch up with them once you're in. I'm sure you'll find them no problem." Lillian had guessed correctly the meaning behind Aisha’s nervous lip biting. At the comment, Aisha stopped feeling somewhat assured...she despised the feeling of being left behind even though there wasn’t anything to worry about. Aisha hadn’t really visited Lillian’s room...except for the one time she had gone on a rampage to find something Lillian would agree to wearing around the HQ. Aisha remembered having to then go let off steam by attacking simulated enemies in the training room, for Lillian had agreed to wear nothing save for what she was wearing.
Aisha’s green eyes had to adjust first for a tad before she could really take in the room again. She had forgotten how vastly different it was. Her green eyes had been roving about just at the very moment Lillian had stretched out for...oh goodness...Lillian. This is why I've been trying to... Aisha thought as she tried to look everywhere other than at Lillian, ...ohh look at that clock...that is a very nice clock yes, yes indeed. "This is it," At those words, Aisha looked away from the clock and smiled down at to what Lillian was holding in her hands. Aisha’s smile faltered as she assessed the material. “Lillian...really? This is more of Loretta’s outfit type don’t you think?” Aisha had not idea what she had been expecting...some sort of mecha armor maybe...but not something sooo sheer. Aisha nodded at the suggestion to change color, she definitely would.
“Get me in this now...here...?” Aisha stuttered then quickly added, “Please do not misunderstand me Lillian. I’m very eager to test it out to its fullest capabilities, but...well.” The agent sighed. Aisha always wanted and valued privacy...though calling her an uptight prude would be a little harsh, right? “Lillian, please just turn around and I’ll...I’ll slip into it.” Now her face felt like it was on fire...you might’ve been able to fry an egg on it. Aisha carefully picked up the suit and examined it as she waited for Lillian to turn around. Once she felt a little more at ease, she quickly changed out of her clothing. Aisha was the type of woman who bought expensive clothes of excellent quality and dressed well. From Banana Republic slacks down to even black laced lingerie from Victoria's Secret. The suit felt...well quite comfortable really save for how light it was, it was almost like the wiring had been placed directly on her skin. Aisha played around with the wrist buttons, settling on a dark green after skimming through white, baby blue, pink, and accidently a puke green.
“Alright,” Aisha sighed, though she still felt like making a toga out of Lillian’s bedsheet. “I’m ready to test it out.” Aisha said with a shy smile as she shifted her weight from one leg over to the other.
OOC I too, included some information between Aisha and a couple of characters to which I hope is okay. I also established the order in which members were hired. I'll have another post up for Dominic later this weekend :3

 Thanial Lorenzo Kari
Thanial sighed as he twirled a pen in his fingers. He was exhausted. He should have slept more but working on a game mod that involved making some game more gruesome than it already was did not particularly appeal to him. It was like planning to go to sleep while watching a horror movie-not smart. And then when he was able to finally able to sleep he had to deal with his dream guardian-Raven- having a picnic. At least the weather was nice. And she probably was trying to distract him, he supposed. Yawning he stretched out his arms on the desk and laid his head down. He was bored and tired-not a good combination. He closed his eyes for a moment and before he knew it he was asleep, laying on a white couch looking up at a ceiling of glowing green code. Around him the walls also sported the code but his focus was what was on the ceiling. He began rearranging the code in his mind, realizing that he was programming a video editing software. As his mind rearranged the code, the code on the ceiling and walls also shifted.

So tell me which man I should be Raanan had to stifle a laugh as Minerva scolded himself and Dominic. It was strange, normally he wouldnt have been so openly insubordinate. This place as so strange, it made him feel...younger. He wasnt sure if that was the real word for it or not, but he smiled despite it all.
"Nice armor...Lucifer." Ran said with a chuckle. He still wasnt sure why they all were playing into the theme, but he sighed. He decided to at least play along a little and managed to manifest a long, maroon cape. He looked like a child pretending to be superman, but he didnt mind. It was something.
"So, where is everyone? Did we get spread out?" He asked curiously, brushing some dirt off the back of his soft gray pant legs. It was then he noticed that instead of his usual soft, black leather loafers a pair of black converse adorned his feet. I knew I forgot something this morning.. He sighed, the smile he had been wearing since showing up still played on the corners of his mouth. He would seriously need to discuss things with Dom. Something wasnt right.
Usually people felt unsafe without their gaurdians, why then did he feel...better? The question knawed at his insides but he didnt have time at the moment to try to figure it out. He needed to help the others figure out what was going on and how they were going to travel to the castle.
"Hmm...maybe we could see if there are any small villages or something around here. I mean, if Maggie's theme is a fairy tale land there has to be something like that with maybe a wagon or something. Otherwise we may have to walk.." That idea made him uncomfortable. It would take too much time. Ran really didnt want anything to happen to the small girl, who he assumed was hold up in the large tower of the castle like a proper princess would be.
Because I cant decide

The scientist was rather amused by Aisha’s reaction. She had just been about to offer taking off her dress as a means of making the situation more comfortable, at least in her mind, but then the agent seemed to be willing. “If you have trouble then just let me know,” said Lilli with a soft sigh, turning around and folding her arms under her small breasts. She tapped her bare foot on the metallic floor, making faint slapping sounds. The familiar hum of machines mixed with the sounds of her foot and the girl undressing behind her. She was curious as to what was going on but knew that her fellow Dream Catcher would be angry if she turned around now, so sadly, the girl had to resist sating her curiosity or she would probably end up a very dead cat.
Lillian found herself distracted from monitoring the rest of the team, her mind instead turning back to her first day. She had remembered Dominic giving her a tour, showing all of his equipment that he had invented as well as explaining more about what they did. It was during her tour in the lab she first saw Aisha. The green-eyed and tanned girl had seemed rather shy, only looking at her briefly in the eye before disappearing into the elevator. At the time, she had found herself oddly distracted by that moment. The man’s voice had faded and she could only think about the pretty girl looking at her. It had only lasted a fraction of a second before the elevator doors had closed but she could not shake that strange feeling that still made no sense to her this day. Since then, Aisha had largely spent her time trying to mother her, which irritated her sometimes, but for the most part she liked the veteran dream catcher and she always felt a little happier when her and Loretta were around.
Aisha’s voice brought her out of her memories. Lillian could barely stop herself from whirling around and full speed as she realised the agent was ready. Her nightdress flared up to almost give a glimpse of her most private parts but the silky white fabric quickly settled back down again. Her red eyes scanned over Aisha’s tanned form eagerly, admiring the way her suit hugged all of Aisha’s full curves perfectly. She had been a little concerned about how it would fit properly on someone other than her but it all looked good to the scientist. The dark green colour suited the other girl and she could not help but admire her, if feel slightly jealous at how much better it looked on the agent than it had on her during initial testing. The suit’s material was still slightly sheer but the circuitry and the glossiness of the tinted fabric meant that it tended to make it difficult to make out anything you should not be able to see unless you were looking very closely – something most of the agents would not allow so it was not a concern.
Tapping her fingers in the air again, a small smile touched her lips. “Excellent. I can read all your vitals perfectly. Great response times and they’re so much more precise.” Her red eyes sparkled brightly, so pleased with the data she was getting. “Your temperature, breathing and heart rate seem a little high, though. Are you nervous?” Not waiting for an answer, she walked over to her bed and scooped up Aisha’s clothing. She looked down, rather impressed with the quality. Personally, Lilli thought Aisha dressed overly formal but she was pleasantly surprised at the black lacy underwear. They looked really quite cute. The scientist did not wear anything like that on the rare occasions she dressed normally. All of her own were cheap white undergarments you got out of WalMart. She never really put much effort into her appearance at all.
“Come on. I’ll put your clothes next to my console for safe keeping while you’re in the dream world,” said the scientist cheerfully, carrying them in both her arms carefully. Her fingers still tapped away underneath the pile of still warm clothes, the central computer reacting to each tap. “I think they’re getting impatient. Their heart rates are a little elevated… Although Ran seems calmer than usual. I guess maybe he likes being in the field.” Her red eyes briefly looked away from her virtual display, meeting the other’s gaze for a brief moment. “Thank you for testing this. I really appreciate it.” She looked away again as the elevator descended.
As Lilli and Aisha entered the sleep lab, the monitors that displayed the perceptions of those connected to the dream chairs had come into being. They were hazy and prone to cutting out but the development had given them far greater abilities to share information and take direction. She had worked with Dominic to invent the system, creating an interface between the Parieto-Occipito-Temporal junction of the brain and a massive mainframe underneath her station that worked at reinterpreting those brain signals as images that could be displayed on the monitors. With one or two, the images on display were fairly clear, but with all the agents in, the system was struggling to keep up. She was working on adding a second mainframe and perfecting the interpretation software but that would have to wait until she had the funds and space to do so – they had barely managed to make room for the one she had. Ideally, the scientist wanted one under each dream chair dedicated to that particular user’s mind but that would require they get a lot more paid cases. The girl also wanted to improve the interface so she could communicate back with the agents since currently she could hear them but they could not hear her. The main danger of that was that it might interfere with the dream world if she spoke which could have serious consequences for the agent's safety. Her idea was to communicate directly with their brain but that was tricky, especially as it would require a lot of work so it did not interfere with their perceptions of the dream world around them.
She glanced at the image of the little girl's dream world as perceived by some of the other agents. “Cute outfit but some of them can totally see up her skirt,” commented the girl with a laugh as she looked at Sam on the monitors. “Maybe you should warn her,” added Lillian to Aisha before walking over with the other girl to her console, placing the agent’s clothing on the clear bit of her desk before picking up her mask. “If the suit works well then we could get rid of these big pods. Just switch them for comfy chairs and a mask to pump the gas into you. We could then use the extra space for more tech.” She said, smiling softly to herself before turning around to look at the green-eyed girl. “I guess we’ll see, huh?” Putting on her breathing mask, she gestured for the agent to lead the way to her pod.
Once they were inside, she turned on the gas immediately to save time and helped the already drowsy Aisha into her chair. She carefully and gently restrained her, giving her the thumbs up before leaving to let her fall into sleep and enter the dream world.
Taking a seat at her desk, she sat back and sighed softly. Her eyes briefly moved to the neat pile of clothing next to her, a tightness growing in her chest for the briefest moment before the flash of Aisha’s monitor coming online drew her back to her work. “Now just to monitor,” said Lilli to herself. She found this part of the job boring, but someone had to do it.((Hoshiko gave me permission to link Aisha's underwear. For those curious, she owns the green version in the pic as well as the black ones she was wearing today. Sadly you can only get black in a little sample box. No real pictures but I'm sure everyone can use their imagination. 3nodding ))

Aisha waited for Lillian’s appraisal, though she couldn’t help herself but smile at the Scientist’s excitement. But Lillian’s remark of, “Your temperature, breathing and heart rate seem a little high, though. Are you nervous?” made the young woman sigh and roll her eyes wanting to say, I feel naked Lillian!’ However, the activated circuitry lining the suit kept her quite warm. Aisha was going to go pick up her pile of clothes to straighten them out, but the scientist scooped them up and ushered the Agent out the door. Aisha wrung her hands together having nothing to do at the moment. but wonder what the others were up to, no doubt growing impatient as Lillian had commented, which Aisha began biting her lower lip at. “Thank you for testing this. I really appreciate it.” Aisha looked up and stopped her worrying as she gazed back into those red eyes. She could only nod and softly smile, though even after Lilian turned away, Aisha gazed fixedly at the Scientist...and attributed the feeling in her stomach from the descending elevator. She tore her green eyes away to gaze around at the technology that surrounded them. Impressive was an understatement; one knowledgeable in the field of engineering, cybernetics, computer science, neuroscience, and robotics would be salivating just by looking at the lab and training simulation room. Aisha turned around to view the monitor and just as Lillian commented, Aisha had a brief, though exposing view, before she averted her eyes and sighed. “Yes, I definitely will alert her to that...” Aisha replied before she followed the Scientist to the capsule. Aisha listened to Lillian’s comment about how the suit would usher in new changes and improvements of how the agents work and would free up space. “Yes...” Aisha was going to add more to the conversation, but instead she let out a sigh as the gas seeped into her system. She even found herself slumping on Lilian for support, though she tried her best to support herself as long as possible. She never wanted to burden Lilian, nag and advise...yes...but never burden the hard working Scientist. ‘Jeeze’ Aisha thought...though her thoughts were growing more muddled by the second. Where did and how Dominic synthesize this stuff and how on earth did he keep it from the government! Dominic had a strict policy that no type of technology built in the Dream Catcher Co. should ever leave Headquarters. He was very secretive and had reason to be so since if the government ever caught wind of what their capabilities, they would swoop down upon HQ and kill for the inventions...and might go as far as Take Dominic and Lillian away to study their technologically prodigious minds. Over...my...dead...bod...► MEANWHILE ◄ Dominic grinned over to Sam and said, “Yes, we should always be using out code names. For now on will address our scientist as Operator...or Pants-less...” But before Dominic could continue listing off potential names for Lillian an outline of a curvy young woman began to form itself, as if the figure was being downloaded from the system. Finally she fully formed to reveal herself as Aisha, wearing the dark green suit. “Gah!” She groaned. “Avert your eyes! All of you!” She commanded in a low embarrassed voice as she closed her eyes and focused on morphing her clothes to suit the environment. As quickly as light engulfed Aisha, it had faded, revealing the women in full regalia armor. “Alright, Sparrow is ready for lift off.” Aisha said with a smile as she turned to take in the effect of her costume. “Excellent. I was worried we had been facing a system failure meaning we would have been stuck here forever.” Dominic said as he clasped and rubbed his hands eagerly together. “Let us be off then. On foot down this road until we meet the first town. Will find some horses and then cover the rest of the on horseback. The first leg of the trek should give us time to check and assess the environment.” Just as Dominic gave Sam a nod and finished his brief, something occurred... ♛ Step into the Dreamscape ♛
♚ Something is happening... ♚
Suddenly there was a gentle breeze that picked up; making the grass and leaves sway calmly. There were voices in the breeze...hushed whispers, gentle laughter, soft giggles.
Then without warning the caressing warm breeze became a whipping gale. It howled as it tugged at the agent’s clothes and hair. The voices that had been playful and innocent, now turned into shrieks of pain, yells of anger, and cries of fear.
The stream of wind encircled the team before suddenly dying away.
OOC Again this is an example of how the dreamer roleplayer will influence the Dream Scape and can set up situations/ the environment the agents run into. More examples will be posted as our agents move on. The Dreamer roleplayer will be actively posting like the storyteller.

When the sudden breeze picked up, Aisha looked like she was going to comment on it, but Dominic quickly held up his hand to silence her. Puzzled, Aisha closed her mouth and listened as hard as she could to the voices in the breeze. However, she had to cover her mouth to stop herself from loudly gasping in surprise when the wind whipped up and released the eerily and twisted cries. Dominic frowned as he listened to the gust, and didn't even flinch as the gale picked up and his hair whipped around his face. A disconcerting look flitted across his features, replaced by puzzlement, then a expression of resign. "Well, seems like the mind knows we are here...let us all make haste." Dominic beckoned the group of agents to follow him and he quickly made his way down the hill and onto the road. He turned to make sure that the agents were following suit. Once they were, he withdrew his sword and said quietly, "Have your weapons at the ready." Dominic nodded to the rest of the team, looking unusually serious. Aisha withdrew the sheathed sword from her waist band, though she kept flexing her hand in case she need to cast a spell. However, throughout their trek there wasn't a single obstacle...no movement...not even another breeze. Soon the town came into view and Dominic held up his arm for the group to stop and survey the village from a distance. But again...no one. Not a sight or sound of inhabitants. It would have been very eerie, but luckily there were animals at the village. Farm animals of all sorts seemed to roam untamed and un-tethered through the streets. "Something has happened." Dominic commented in a hushed voice as they had continued into the village, looking around. The town seemed to have been abandoned, though when and why could not be determined. The sound of hooves pawing the dirt caught Dominic's ear and he led the team to a large corral. Trotting around were at least a dozen various horses. No doubt the girl liked horses and knew about different breeds rather than just little ponies or unicorns. "Well, pick a horse and saddle up." Dominic cheered before he whistled over to a Appaloosa. "The horse are even already fully saddled and bridled...interesting. Either the townspeople left not too long ago or someone is aware of our motives and it just playing along." Dominic commented before he pulled himself onto the horse and took the steed around the corral a couple of times to get used to the movement of the majestic animal. Aisha had been peering through the windows and open doorways of the buildings and agreed that there were not villagers, either the team was spotted and the townspeople fled or...were hiding. Aisha kept her eyes scanning around even when they approached the corral, though her inner child couldn't help but squeal in delight to see all the beautiful horses. Aisha loved animals and dearly wanted a pet dog, but alas no pets were allowed at Headquarters and Fido would not doubt cause havoc. Aisha beckoned to a regal Arabian horse who tossed his head and trotted over to her, sniffing the hand she outstretched in greeting. "You're one of royalty aren't you," The green eyed agent cooed as she patted the steed, making sure he trusted her before climbing and settling into the saddle.

Sewed a heart on my sleeve... Looking at the horses, Ran admired some of them. They were leaned muscled and well bred, and came in a varied of colors. He especially liked a feisty roan stallion. It whinnied loudly, and he walked over to it and reached out his hand. The horse stared at his hand incredulously, then turned and walked away.
"Hey!" Yelled Ran after the creature, looking confused. He tried several other horses and they all did the same. Sighing, the man was just about to give up when he felt something nudge his back. Turning around, Raanan stared at a bony brown nag. It looked up at him, its dark eyes twinkling.
"You have got to be....Is this a joke!?" He hollered. He still held his smile, but was slightly annoyed. He playfully whacked his palm to his forehead.
"Alright, alright..." He mumbled as he found a soft riding blanket made from cotton and died deep blue. He also found a nice sadle, but when he attempted to place it on the nag, she snorted and moved away. Again, Ran grumbled as he chased her around.
After several minutes of exhausting running about after the horse, he gave up. "Fine. You win. I will ride you bareback." At this comment the horse nickered and Ran finally felt like he had accomplished something.
After a few minutes of getting up on the horse and getting settled, he joined Minerva, Lucifer, and Sparrow.
.......Who was had shown up almost naked... Ran's face was flushed red, and he averted his eyes until Sparrow had some armor accumulate on her body.
"So what now Luce?" He asked with the same lopsided grin as earlier. Now that he was settled a bit, he was starting to regain his more pleasant emotions. ... It makes me easy to read.

Samantha Herring Things must have been worse than they had expected. Maggie's mind was beginning to read all outsiders as intruders an enemies. They would need to get moving. Sam nodded back at Dom. Their teamwork had grown stronger since when they first met and she wanted barely anything to do with his antics, but she had alway respected him. As they reached the village Sam took immediate note of the desertion of the place. She walked around peering through a few buildings but found no life whatsoever. When she reached the end of a street she found a home and pushed the dor open. It wasn't locked. When she got inside it looked as if the residents had just stepped out for an afternoon stroll, which obviously wasn't the case. There were bowls of a soup like meal prepared in what seemed to be the dining room. When she walked over Sam saw that the soup was still hot. With that she took the handle of her blade into her hand, poised for action while she exited the home.
Sam found a white horse of nondescript breed grazing near the house. It was geared for riding yet no one was around to claim it. She locked eyes with the animal, and slowly moved closer until she could hear its heavy breathing. "Would you help me travel to the next town?" She put her hand out and a large cube of sugar materialized in it. Sam wasn't above bribing and clearly the horse was one to refuse it. Huffing softly the mare trotted over and licked the cube out of her hand. She petted the horse before climbing into the saddle and making her way back to the main group. She rode back and fell into line with the others as Ran pulled up from the rear. "I think we should abstain from using Dream Influence until we get inside that castle. It's clear the Maggie's guardian is alert to some sort of danger. We need to make our intentions known before we get grouped in with whatever's causing this damage to Maggie's dream world." Sam had finished her thought just before Ran asked Dom about the plan. Sam didn't really feel comfortable speaking around the other agents. She did when she had to, but preferred to take a more behind the scenes approach. Aisha and Lillian were the exceptions of course, Aisha being one of the first agents and Lillian being the head scientist, Sam worked with them a lot. Sam would let Dom decide on what the plan was.

Aisha hid a giggle behind her hand as she watched Raanan try to catch a horse and ending up with a sweet though rather fragile looking horse. “She has taken quite a liking to you, Animus,” Aisha commented with a smile as Raanan joined the group. Then she turned her green eyes over to Sam and nodded her approval at the young woman’s comment. After which, she to peered over to Dominic and waited for his orders. The Arabian tossed his head and snorted, communicating his impatience for waiting. Aisha gave the steed a pat on the neck to calm him. Dominic lounged on the Appaloosa as he watched the others pair up with a horse. He smiled as he watched the agents tackle the little obstacle, shaking his head at Raanan’s attempts. He then straightened up in the saddle and listened to his second in command’s suggestion and Raanan’s question. “Very true Minerva. Let’s make our way to the castle as quickly as possible. We’ll indeed refrain from any using any influence unless it is to protect ourselves from harm. Understood?” Dominic looked into the eyes of each agent then gave a final nod and gave the clicked at the steed to trot, then gallop, and finally jump over the corral fence and make his way back onto the Village’s main dirt road. Aisha turned out the white horse and urged him to do the same. Dominic lead the team north upon the dirt road slowing down at each crossroads before choosing a left, then a right, and another left. The team again met no obstacles, creatures, or inhabitants along the road. Dominic picked up their pace as the castle came into view, growing closer until they finally reached the end of the road that lead straight into the grounds of the castle. Dominic held up a hand, indicating for the team to slow down to a trot as they entered through the outer walls of the massive building. Again, the place seemed deserted just as the village. The team slowed down even more as they came to a flight of white stone steps. There atop the flight of stairs to the main castle entrance stood a figure, arms crossed, and staring down at the group. "I know who you all are. You are neither welcomed or wanted here!" Yelled the the cat-like young man from atop the stairs. Dominic dismounted from the horse and smiled as he looked up at the figure. "To be honest, our host doesn't seem to mind us being here, nor is she pushing us back." Dominic said as he looked around the deserted castle grounds. The blonde man than gazed back up at the figure and smiled even more broadly. "Seems like you actually are the one that needs our help." Dominic added with brutal honesty. The figure growled in anger and jumped off the top of the stairs and landed, causing the ground to quake, right in front of Dominic; now with what seemed like a wooden staff, one end pointing into Dominic's chest. The young man was actually shorter than Dominic, but he bared pointed teeth and looked very anger. Dominic had no doubt struck a sore spot. OOC Hi everyone. Normally the Dreamer rper would introduce the guardian in their own post, but for times sake I've included it in my own post.
