 Lucinda Lilyton- The Innocent White Witch Lucinda looked like she was trapped between a rock and a hard place, with no where to go. She didn't want to stay here, but she knew he would hurt people.
"I do not want to be here, but I also cannot allow you to kill anyone just because they are connected to me. I don't even know why you have any interest in me, I am pretty plain,"Lucy spoke.

His voice hardened. "I have given you a choice. Choose it now, and no more qualifications. Do you willingly choose to stay here?"
He laughed softly at her claim of plainness. His itchy witch surely had a case of poor self esteem. Well, that would certainly help things, so for now he'd let it be.

Lucinda Lilyton- The Innocent White Witch Lucinda was trying to think of other options, trying desperately to get out of this place safely. She looked at the man thoughtfully, wondering if he could even make her stay against her will.
"I do not want to serve you, you are a demon and I do not work for demons. I am a being of light and I will not allow you to taint that,"Lucy said with more boldness than she felt.

He smiled, a not so pleasant smile full of malice. "Oh, then it's the hard way. Oh good, I hadn't really had a chance to enjoy myself for a while now."
He picked up a scrying mirror and tapped a line, and a shy looking girl who looked about nineteen appeared. "Yes, Master? How may I serve you?"
He looked thoughtful. "Bring me one of the new pets Al snagged. Pay 20% below his asking price...if he refuses, tell him I'll be collecting that favor his witch owes me. Make sure she's young."
"Yes, It will be as you will." She disappeared.

Lucinda Lilyton- The Innocent White Witch Lucinda looked into the man's eyes and her breath seemed to catch in her throat. She felt a little feeling in her arms and she tried to move them. She wondered what new pets this man was talking about and what was going to happen.
"I do not like the look in your eyes, what are you planning on doing?"Lucy asked.

He smirked, watching her arms move as she began to get feeling again. Shall I allow her the false hope, or should I crush it now? A mental shrug, and he decided to allow it.
His familiar returned, bringing back a small child. She bowed deeply and backed away three steps before she disappeared again.
Dare took the child's hand and patted it gently, meeting Lucy's eyes. "What is your name, child?"
The child didn't seem to notice the hidden malice in the demon's eyes. She sucked her thumb, then looked up at Lucy. "...I'm Mary..."

Lucinda Lilyton- The Innocent White Witch Lucinda, however, saw the look in Dare's eyes and she looked to the child. Every fiber of her being wanted to protect the child, make sure that she didn't get hurt.
"Please, do not hurt the child, she is so little and innocent. Hello Mary, it is nice to meet you,"Lucy spoke softly.

Dare raised an eyebrow at her, and patted the child gently once more. "Hello, Mary. How old are you?"
Mary's eyes were childishly wide, but not in fear. "I'm this many." She held out her hand, five fingers extended.
"Delightful. You know, Lucy here really loves children. It's a shame she's going to leave soon. But I'll tell you what. We can play without her. I know lots of games."
He met Lucy's eyes and his intent was clear.

Lucinda Lilyton- The Innocent White Witch Lucinda looked Dare in the eyes and knew what he was thinking, which sent a shiver up and down her spine. She knew he planned to hurt the child and she couldn't allow it, not a little girl. She could see he knew her weaknesses as if they were his own and it scared her.
Whatever pain you were planning to inflict on the child, I will take in her place. Please, do not hurt her, she needs love, not pain,Lucy thought to him, wondering if he would hear her thoughts.

He smiled at Lucy. 'If you want her to be unharmed, itchy witch, you'll have to agree to more than taking her pain. You will stay, forever, and learn from me.' he thought back.
He lifted the child suddenly, causing her to squeek in alarm. Her fear ended in a laugh...he'd just picked her up to hold her against his side.
"Well, Mary, we'll get along splendidly. We're very fond of games here, you know. Oh yes, there are many things to do here."

Lucinda Lilyton- The Innocent White Witch Lucinda looked gently to the child, knowing she could not leave the child to this evil demon, she just couldn't.
I will do what I must to keep that little girl safe. I mean, as soon as I leave, I know you would hurt the child, I couldn't live with myself for running away and allowing you to do that. Her life is just beginning, I wouldn't want her death to be on my hands,Lucy admitted.

His eyes hardened as he looked at Lucy. 'Ah, itchy witch. You don't seem to understand. If you do not give me the words I seek, whether you are planning to escape or not won't matter. Perhaps you should think about it.'
He smiled at Mary and whispered something to her. She nodded, then walked over as his familiar appeared again. The familiar disappeared with the child, and Dare raised an eyebrow at Lucy.
"You will be pleased to note that she will not be killed....quite yet. Though I cannot guarantee that she will wish to live by the night's end. When you are ready to give up what is truly precious to you, for her sake, do let me know. Until then...Hold this!"
A massive amount of ley line energy was forced through her, more than she could take. She began to feel dizzy from the pain, blind from it...And when the pain cleared enough for her to see, she was located inside his circle, unable to get out. Dare was gone.

Lucinda Lilyton- The Innocent White Witch Lucinda screamed in pain as he sent the energy through her and she couldn't see a thing. When the pain subsided some, she could see she was in some kind of circle and that the man was gone. She gulped lightly, knowing something was up and she didn't like it.
"Where are you and what is this circle?"she called out.

She could hear screams in the background of his thoughts, his spell allowing her to hear what he did.

Lucinda Lilyton- The Innocent White Witch Lucinda dropped to her knees, shivering as if she were in a winter storm. The cries in her head brought a fresh batch of tears careening down her cheeks. She couldn't take the cries of the little girl, it seemed to be tearing her heart in two.
"Please, stop hurting her, she's just a child. I will stay, if it means you will leave her alone,"she cried out in a pleading voice.
