Aislin pushed through just fine.
Too fine, actually.
In fact the thin coat of slime that mucked the entire bottom of the course made it so that the banshee shot through the sour noodidoot mouth so fast she didn't have time to catch herself before she toppled through the other side. She crashed in a pile of limbs and floating hair on the other side.
"Ungh." She gave a disgruntled grunt, flopping over and sitting up to scowl at... anything that was in front of her.
Which so happened to be a really melancholy looking Floresce and a... very happy Spectropus. She approached warily, leaning forward to peer into the opening and inspect the situation. More slime. Okay she would be careful of that. But otherwise there really didn't seem to be anything else that could get in her way. With a far more wary air about her she slipped into the balloon mini's mouth.

Grinning, Israfel couldn't help but feel glad when the tiny crab like minipet made tiny clicks of approval. Watching Barth...do an activity was a rare sight. One which Israfel regret not having his scamra out for. As bea busied herself drawing, Israfel grabbed a sandwich and nibbled at the fins. That boil...he was also new. "Hey." Ears wings pricked to and fro. Then some.... giant...giant. GIANT...dude. Jaw dropped and the siren giggled. giggled. "All you new snots...Oh man, the teachers are going to love you guys." He grinned, continuing to nibble on the food.

Mo kneeled down and sighed as she crawled through the spetropus but stopped when she felt something that wasn't water under her hand. It was slimy and sticking to her hand. She jumped up hitting the top of the spetropus's body bouncing slightly as she was brought back to her knees. Mo cringed slightly and continued to crawl forward and shuddered as knee went into something slimy as well. Mo moved quickly only to fumble on the octopus legs at the end of the course. She was tangled somehow and ended up falling on her arse. She stood up pushing the tentcales off of her and rung some of her hair out and shaking her tail off. Mo's ears flapped against her head as she shock off the slime and walked back over to the table. Looking at Bea "that was..." she picked up her boots and jacket "that was fun" she nodded and smiled "I hope you win".

So much commotion was going on in the inflatable course... What on earth were those ghouls doing in there? When Barth went through, he didn't seem to have THAT much trouble... "Ohhhhh, I hope nothing goes wrong..." Bea said to Israfel about the ghouls. As the ghouls continued, the course kept bouncing to and fro, Bea kept hearing random grunts coming from it....
The first ghoul came out first. She was ABSOLUTELY covered in Barth's slime. "Oh, my JACK!" Bea yelled as she stood up, hand reaching out towards the ghoul. She watched her pick up her things, commented on the ride and smiled... Bea gave her a nervous smile back at her, and said "...Th-thank you." Sitting there for a bit, she looked at the goodie bag, grabbed it, along with several other yellow night lights. "please excuse me again, Israfel!"
Bea chased after the ghoul. "Please, take these too! I'm so sorry about the mess, I'll clean it up when I can..." folding her hands on her lap, and smiling at the ghoul yet again.

Mo turned to look at Bea and took the night lights and goodie bag placing them in the hood so not to get them wet or slimy "oh.. well it happens" she giggled. "Don't worry about it I am sure worst things happen in this place. Plus I live in a cave I have seen worst things... I was just shocked is all." She didn't want the ghoul to feel bad it is the thought that counts. Well to her at least it is the thought that counts. She wandered off wondering if she should visit other campaign booths saying this as she leaves. "Good luck in the race."

"Thank ye!" Marosa cried with evident surprise and admiration, taking the portrait of himself and blushing slightly. It was very well drawn, and he was topless to boot!
He had seen the ghoul kiss Bea's hand, and he felt a little twinge of jealousy, wishing he could do that without harming anyone or forcing them to like him.
He wished he could do a lot of things that involved touching.
"Ah'm Marosa," He stated, or tried to state, clearly, so Bea could understand him, as she had looked a little lost earlier when he tried to talk. "Ye are... Beatrix?" He smiled. "Ye are verrah pretteh."

The last portion of the obstacle course had proven far more difficult than it ever should have been. Aislin had pushed, nudged, wiggled and crawled as best she could but just... couldn't go on. Was there too much air being pumped into the balloons? Too much pressure making it impossible? She couldn't be sure. The banshee considered screaming for help but that wouldn't do more than alarm everyone.
Slowly she managed to make her way through, finally reaching sight of the balloon tentacles of the Spectropus. As a last ditch effort she frantically reached out, grabbing onto one of the purple danglies and pulling herself the rest of the way out.
With an undignified flop Aislin landed on the grass outside of the course. She lay there a few moments before popping upright and heading over towards her new ghost friend. "I think there's too much air in that thing. I was having the HARDEST time getting through!"

Bea was relieved to hear that the ghoul was alright. "Okay then," Bea giggled, "I'm glad you're fine and thank you very much!" waving goodbye to the ghoul as she walked away.
"You're very welcome!" Bea said to Marosa. "Yes, um... My name is Beatrix. But you may call me Bea if you like--- OH! Well, thank you, um... Marosa!" Bea blushed as the boil complimented her, putting a hand up to her cheek. "Are you a student at the Academy? or Just a visitor?"
Then suddenly, Ash came out of the obstacle course. Or rather, she had flopped out. She didn't look happy at all... "Too much air?" confused. Bea thought she would complain about the slime, more than the air capacity. "I'm sorry, Ash! Now that you're out though, I'll be sure to fix that. I need to clean that thing anyway. Maybe even do a test run before letting anyone else try it"
"Um... Please excuse me" she said to anyone around her. Bea immediately walked out to her obstacle course and walked behind it. Very slowly, the ride began to deflate.
wwhhhhhhsssssssssssssssssssss~
Bea stopped it from losing too much air, otherwise it's be too hard to clean. Bea walked back from behind her booth, grabbed two large buckets, filled them with water, and a large banner. She wrote
CLOSED FOR CLEANIG!!
Bea was feeling a bit frantic when she wrote it and had misspelled "cleaning" on the banner. Typically, she's NEVER let that happen, but this time, her mind was more focused on getting the ride working again. Bringing them back to the course and tied the banner up on the ride. She then began dumping water on it to try and clean off the slime. "Ugh, this is going to take FOREVER," she groaned.

"Ah'm just a visitor," Marosa murmured to her, watching as she moved to clean the thing. He glanced around and found another bucket, filling it up with water before moving to throw some on the thing and help her.
He turned to smile at her. "If'n ye need a hand, ah'm here." He shrugged, not really minding; he didn't have anywhere else to be at the moment.

As she dumped the water on the course, she noticed Marosa approaching her with another bucket. She smiled at the boil "Thank you! I could use the help..." She stared at the ride, which seemed to have slime and water mixed together rather than washing it off... "If we can get our hands on a hose, this would go a lot easier, but I have no idea where to get one..."
Kicking the dirt around on the ground, Bea tried to figure out where to find a hose... "Maybe I can go around asking people if they know."

All the while, a figure had been seated just off to the side, watching the goings on of the festival with little interest. He hadn't played a single game, nor had he bothered to explore. He was here because of his Sister, and that was all. What did catch his attention, though, was a choice bit of calico rushing to and fro trying desperately to make her booth a success. An artistic sort, he thought, watching her tack another portrait onto her display before rushing about after a slimy-looking bimbo that had trashed an otherwise fun looking inflatable. His fingers stopped working along the buttons of the annoyingly-normal instrument he had been playing, it's wailing cries blending in with the blares from the festival unnoticeable all the while. He wished The Boss was here. Dramatic entrances were a lot more fun with his back-up. No matter. A dirty looking mouse scurried out of a pant leg to vanish elsewhere in a wild make for escape as he slipped the weathered, golden device back in it's case, flipping up his hat back onto his head and rocked to his feet. Whistling softly, he approached, catching sight of the soggy dame just as she was working on her clean up. "You seem hip to the jive, what's been goin' on? More importantly, the hell happened to that?" Once he was sure he had her attention, tapping a shoe against the side of the inflatable, he tipped his hat, with a grin" Enzo Valentino, just your passin' palooka trying to get on the up and up on this place." A couple cockroaches dropped from the brim as he did so, scurrying away under the slimy and wet inflatable, only to be washed away into the unknown by the cascading water. Even without his natural ability to control them, those buggers never really left once setting up base camp. He sighed.

The fairgrounds was HUGE, and FILLED with shiny and fun things. Cady had been tethered to her booth for too long, with only brief forays into the other booths. Her impatience had finally gotten the better of her. Cady was on tour. And her first stop was perhaps one of the biggest and shiniest of the unvisited booths. It had jellies, fish, jellies mounting fish. And food. She positioned herself at the food table, and stuffed as many sweet things (which was an awful lot) as she could into her mouth at one time. Then something strange happened. It seemed the more sugary goodness she crammed into her maw, the lighter she felt. She was giddy. She was a cloud. She was floating. She didn't even glance up at the sign that said 'closed for cleaning' (not that she'd have been able to read it) as she pranced over to the bulbous, brightly colored inflatable contraption that seemed the main feature of the booth. She climbed up on it, pulling herself onto the slippery surface of the strangely pleased looking Spectropus. She hopped, tentatively, and was pleased as punch as the whole thing seemed to jiggle in response. Cady began leaping with abandon. Each time she seemed to bounce higher... higher... And then her heel landed in a puddle of the slime Barth had managed to near paint the thing in. She landed rather gracelessly in the grass. As she sat up, she could hear a rather strange hissing emanating from one of the Spectropus's tentacles, where her tail stinger was stuck. It took her several seconds to yank it out, causing the hole to widen and the sound to transform to something more like an eternal, mocking raspberry. She stood quickly, dusting herself off and planting one heel to block the hole as she attempted to lean against the contraption casually. Nothing to see here, folks.

Bea had only just returned, no hose, and was unsuccessful to talk to ANYONE while she was looking. On the way back to her booth, she had noticed two new students standing around, not to mention a lot of the food was gone. Maybe students had stopped by when she was off at the other booths?
One student was a hip looking boil with a hat. "Welcome to my booth, Enzo!" greeting him politely. Palooka? "It's a bit of a mess right now. I---" And before she could finish that sentence, she looked over to her half inflated obstacle course to find a ghoul resting her foot on it.
Wha? What was she doing by the ride? "Um I'm sorry, but the ride is closed for cleaning!" Bea yelled out to the ghoul. "You'll have to come back later if you want to have a go at it... and please don't lean up against the ride like that." she said in a slightly whiny voice.
At this point, Bea was getting exhausted, trying to keep her booth running. Campaign running shouldn't this hard! ...Right?

"OH, UH. REALLY? CLEANING. HUH. WELL. I'M JUST LEANING. NOT CLEANING. HAHA. RIGHT." Cady was smooth as butter.

"Uhhh... I know that you're not cleaning... I said the ride is closed for cleaning because I was going to clean it---" That ghoul's nervous smile didn't seem right... "Anyway..." Still looking at the ghoul, "You're welcome to anything on the table. It seems to have less food now, since I was gone, but feel free to take anything you like..." Could have sworn Bea has seen her somewhere before too...
"HEY! Aren't you Cady? The one with the western booth? You're running for Public relations too right?"
