After a few moments of sitting at the bar thinking, a barmaid made her way over to where Marius was sitting.
"What can I get you?" she asked.
"Rum," he answered, "please."
The barmaid disappeared into the back and returned a few moments later with a bottle of rum. He handed her the money for the rum, and then she hurried off to serve someone else.

"I know 'bout superstition and stigma 'round yur kind. It be why I show ya pity." Annie winked, and knocked her wooden leg against the leg of the table. "You don't have any coin, do ya? Well, I suppose I could dig ya up some bread, maybe some broth. But next time, ya bring money, ya hear?" With that, the rotund woman shoved herself to a standing position with a groan and waddled back toward the bar.

Alexis smiled, that was better than nothing. She said softly, "Thank you" Alexis looked around for a bit as she waited for the food, she would have to remember to come back again when she finally was able to gather some money. If Alexis couldn't find a job on a ship that had someone able to protect her if needed, she would have to try and find some small jobs around the town.

Gretel walked into the pub and looked around, she didn't know anyone that was here. Then agian, she didn't know anyone at all on the isla. Shaking the thought away she walked towards an empty table and waited for the bar maid to come by, while holding the dubloon the captain had given her up in the air. She looked around quickly then shoved it back into her pocket. She started boredly tapping her foot on the ground while watching the few other people that were there in mild amusement.

Ara peered inside of the tavern, the amount of people that flooded the building was growing every moment and she decided to grab a side table before there were none left. Staying close to the wall she took a seat at an empty table that faced the bar. A barmaid was making way to her table and she checked the small leather bag that she’d hidden away. A few coins were all that were left from pick pocketing the street for the last few days.
Her head still hurt and she decided that any form of alcohol was a bad idea at the moment. She ordered a loaf of bread for the moment and the barmaid nodded, leaving her to retrieve the order.

Alexis sighed, was she ever going to get some food? She was willing to settle for a small hunk of bread, she just needed something to eat! At that moment one of the barmaids walked over to her. The girl seemed frightened of Alexis, and Alexis knew why. Alexis shook her head softly and sighed once more.
The girl finally had the courage to come up to her, "Here is some broth and hunk of bread," she placed them on the table in front of Alexis. The girl's expression then went cold, "and don't get anywhere near me... you filthy thing..."
Alexis was shocked! Well, maybe not but it was a very rude thing to say to someone, Dragon-Kin or not. If Alexis hadn't been so hungry, she would have punched the little wench into the ground. Alexis responded to the woman, "I wouldn't want to be any where near a rat like yourself," she then started to eat her meager meal.
The barmaid was angered that the Dragon-Kin had the audacity to talk back to her! She clenched her fist and walked away quickly, grumbling about 'stupid Dragon-Kins' and 'bloody bastards.'

Ara glanced over that the newest arrival in the tavern, her jaw nearly dropping as the woman took a seat. A dragon-kin, was seating a table away from her. She frowned at herself, it was a rude thing to do; stare. She’d never met one of the beings but wasn’t about to make the first impression of a five year old. She looked down at the bread she’d ordered and started to nibble on it. She glared up at the barmaid who served the girl, and here she thought that she was rude. She shook her head, one of the loss buns in her hair falling out. She sighed angrily and fixed it back up, long hair got in the way of most of the things she did. She glanced at the woman a few more times but scolded herself for it.

Anchor Annie, being a saltie seadawg through and through, eyed all of the pirates in her pub with a pleased smile. These were her people still, though she was long in retirement from looting. When she saw the barwench be disrespectful to her customer, dragonkin or not, she narrowed her already beady eyes and waddled over as fast as her bulk on her pegleg would allow. Raising a hand she slapped the the maid hard. "You disrespect me customers again and I'll toss yur arse back out on the streets and letcha go backta whorin'."

Ara blinked at the woman’s harsh tongue but looked down sharply, she’d been rude to stare, but she wasn’t about to bring that up. She took a large bite out of the bread in her hands. And glanced toward the door as more people walked in and out of the tavern. A barmaid came to her table and placed the run she ordered before he and left just as quickly.

Gretel watched in amusement at what had happened, then she leaned back and looked towards the bar maid who had been rude. Dragon-kin. They seemd to be everywhere, was this normal? It had been so long since she had been on a slightly civilized island that she couldn't remember. Without much thought she stood and walked towards Alexis and sat down about a foot away from her then gave her a smile. If there was going to be crap going on in the bar, she would much rather be on the good side of this woman. "Gretel. Pleasure to meet you." she said while looking patheticly peppy while giving her slight nod.

Marius glanced around the room before getting up. He didn't want to chance being left behind, and he wanted to explore the ship anyway. He picked up the bottle of rum, and headed out of the tavern, with a slight grin and an old sea shanty running through his mind.

Alexis smiled softly after hearing Annie chew out the little barwench. She did feel bad however, she was the main cause of the confrontation. Alexis then noticed that someone had sat not too far from her. When the woman taked to her she was shocked. It was rare to see a human that would talk to a Dragon-Kin, especially with such nice words.
Alexis smiled, "I'm Alexis, pleasure to meet you too Gretel," at that moment her wings somehow became uncomfortable. She shook them slighty, making sure to keep them tucked in, "Please don't be afraid of me," she looked down, "I wouldn't harm a soul," it was slighty a fib, Alexis would punch someone if they harassed her. She had only let the barwench get away with it because Alexis didn't want to cause panic or anything.

Ara looked down at the last of the bread she was eating, it wasn’t quiet enough to stop her hunger but the rum was doing just fine, after last nights drinking she decided to touch it the least. Even if she did nurse a few sips from it. Now, she thought to herself, I need to get out of here. The island had been her home since she’d gotten off of the slave ship but it was by no means going to be permanent. She wanted to use the skills as a repair boy that she’d learned, and that meant boarding a ship. She glanced around the room, over half the people in here were from ships, but none looked very sober. Or like they came from a very reliable ship.

Jamie laughed wickedly at Nicolas's comment about Rachel. Quickly standing she then gathered her very few belongings and tugged Nicolas out the door along with her. They hopped off the ship rather easily and had made their way towards the bar, examining the few other docked pirate ships. They were certainly going to have fun finding a new ship to board and bless with their presence.
Jamie sat down roughly in a booth as they walked into the tavern. She let out a rough sigh and crossed her legs, then motioned for a tender to brig rum. She certainly missed the taste of the alcohol. Smiling to Nicolas she then rose her mug and nodded in his direction.
" To findin' a new ship!" she exclaimed, sudden excitement and happiness flodding over her. She hadn't noticed the esteem lowering toll the Dementia had taken on her being. " And to Nicolas, my future captain!" She laughed lightly at this, though meant her words.

Tracey walked into the tavern once more, and watched the people within, some screamed pirate by how they were dressed. He had heard the Captain, however, and looked for the dragon kin female. When he finally spotted a young lady that looked likely to be the dragon-kin lady.
Walking over to where she was. There were others around her that he did not recognize. Deciding to follow the directions first, he spoke to Alexis, "Hello, Miss, are you familiar with Captain Aiden?" He wanted to confirm before extending the invitation. Then came the fun part he had to pick out perspective able crewmates, and hopefully, not Navy spies.
