TheMessiah episode 22 i believe, Ritsuko goes all "kill all clones!!" I meant before that. Naoko DID kill her then?! Crazy pyschobitch. And the what Gendo said to Ritsuko thing drives me up the wall, it's my life's goal to discover WHAT THE HELL HE SAID! For now, I'm going with "You suck in bed, you dyke. I never liked it."

Shinji will never be like Kaji, nor will he be anything like his father.
You think after hating the man for so long, he'd kind of not want to make those mistakes.
And Asuka... no. Just.... no. The Misato thing is only where she'll end up if she doesnt smarten up.
However, I think she's capable of becoming her own person.

You think after hating the man for so long, he'd kind of not want to make those mistakes. And Asuka... no. Just.... no. The Misato thing is only where she'll end up if she doesnt smarten up. However, I think she's capable of becoming her own person. I actually can see some connections between Shinji and Gendo. I think Gendo is exactly the same as Shinji, except with confidence. The man is afraid of being hurt, and knows he's messed up. That's what I got out of the end before he became Unit 01's chewy granola bar.

an eventual growth and maturing. this is rather reminecent(sp?) of my own life
Kaji -> Gendo
if you go by Love Eva Gendo then its the same thing, an eventual settling down with a woman. if you go by normal, how could Kaji not become another Gendo if Misato was killed.
Asuka -> Misato
same deal as S->K, as per growth and such.
Misato -> Yui
this is the final stage, calming down and settling with the world around her instead of being a constant talkitive drunk.
