"You really are an awesome dancer!" Xiu cheered, panting as she tried to regain her breath. Grinning up at him, she looked a little hopeful as she asked, "Was it fun?" Regardless of what his answer was, she was intent on having him play more games. Or...was that a ball pit in the far corner? It looked like it was a kids corner or something, but...
Hmmm.
She clapped enthusiastically for Lizzy and Mitsu as the pair of ghouls got through a round. "You did well! Both of you!" Aah, she would to practice next time so that she could keep up with everyone else! Glancing from one of the friends to another, the Baku hummed thoughtfully before she pointed to the pink-haired demoness and the reaper.
"One more round? Winner vs. winner?"

Shun didn't say anything about the fact that he had won. Instead, he just watched as Lizzy and Mitsu took their turns. The former was doing considerably better than the latter, but he supposed this was to be expected. The masked wolf wasn't exactly the most coordinated person he knew.
Once they had finished, he glanced over at Xiu, grimacing some.
"I'd rather not," he said, not really wanting to play another round of the game. He also purposely ignored the question the Baku asked him regarding if he had fun with the DDR or not.

"You did pretty well too, Mitsu, despite the... Uh, little stumble," She nodded, staring at the screen before turning to give the werewolf a smile and an encouraging thumbs up, "I think you'll get better if we play more~ Maybe another day?" She had all the intention of making another trip down! She was enjoying herself, after all!
At Xiu's suggestion, she giggled softly, "I don't mind, but... It was a miracle we even got Shun to play once! Let's spare him, shall we?" Was she being merciful towards the reaper for once?
"Let's play in that instead," She pointed at the currently empty ball pit; it was built for all races, which meant that despite it being for the arcade's younger patrons, it was still pretty big and pretty deep, "I mean, since we're here anyway, why not?"
... Nope. Not being merciful at all.

Awkwardly Mitsu returned this odd thumbs up gesture. It seemed Lizzy and Xiu had been doing it a lot so it seemed like the right thing to do.
Since it seemed Shun was going to be spared of another round of the dancing game, Mitsu looked toward where Lizzy was pointing. Despite being a wolf, Mitsu was really a puppy dog at heart. The instant she saw the ball pit her tail began to wag the only thought going through her mind being: ball ball ball ball ball. Sometimes she was special.
"C..can we go? It looks like fun..." Even before she got a reply Mitsu started to edge in that direction a joyful expression hidden behind her mask.

Xiu suppressed a giggle at Mitsu's thumbs up--how cute!--and nodded approvingly. When everyone's attention turned to the ball put, the Baku immediately began to grin, glad that it seemed as if the other ghouls had the same idea she had had.
It was only convincing Shun that would be difficult.
...Or would it? One look at Mitsu gravitating towards the ballpit and it was clear that the lycan wanted so very much to head on over. Moving closer to Shun, she lowered her voice and whispered, "You don't usually see Mitsu so eager for something," The Baku looked at the reaper hopefully before continuing, "Let's head on over...okay?"
I mean, really, who could resist Mitsu's adorable tail wagging?

For about five seconds, Shun was relieved with what Lizzy had to say. It was only five seconds because she was quick to suggest something even worse than another round of DDR.
The Reaper stared at the ball pit for a moment, before looking at the spider demon with a sense of disbelief. Did she seriously expect him to get into that? The last time he was in a ball pit, he ended up getting molested and covered in fruity perfume. His nose scrunched up at the memory of it.
"You girls go ahead," he said gruffly. He did notice how eager Mitsu seemed. The guy wasn't about to stop them if they wanted to play in that, but there was no way he was going to join in. He'd be happy(?) to just watch from the sidelines.

"I'll have to agree with Xiu," Lizzy giggled, seeing how Mitsu showed signs of being excited at the sight of the ball pit; while she had no idea why, she wasn't about to question it since... Well, having Mitsu excited about the "game" was like half the battle won trying to convince Shun into playing! He seemed to have quite a soft spot for the werewolf, after all... In fact, she was glad that Xiu seemed to be on the same wavelength.
It was three against one!
"Awww," She pouted, "Alright, but you have to stay near!" She gestured at Mitsu in a 'since she might need you there' way before turning towards the ghouls and taking their arms. A moment later, they were at the entrance to the ball pit of doom. Staring in at the black and orange colored balls, she bowed before giggling, extending out her arms towards the entrance the same way a waitress would greet someone entering a restaurant, "This way please~"

On her way toward the ball pit Mitsu soon found Lizzy's arm linked with hers. It only made her hurry along all the more until they were finally at the entrance. Ball ball ball As Lizzy mocked showing her the way Mitsu stood for a moment not sure what to do. Was she supposed to jump in? Walk in? Dive in? How did this work? The lycan only bothered to think about it for a few more moments before she looked back at Xiu and then to Lizzy before she just jumped in. Ball ball ball The ball pit was much deeper than expected. Mitsu immediately vanished below the surface and for a moment all was still. It was like she was trying to regain her senses but when she did the balls began to shift a bit as she began to move and finally resurface her ears twitching at the top of her head, her tail wagging fiercely behind her. If her face had been visible the amount of joy would have been apparent.

The ghoul puffed out her cheeks a little at Shun's refusal, but she immediately cheered up when Lizzy led them to the pit. Grinning, she grasped the edges of her dress and gave the demoness a mock curtsy in return for her formal acting. "Thank you very much, miss." She grinned. She would have said more but she noticed Mitsu eying the ball pit from the corner of her eye, and gave the lycan an encouraging nod when she looked to them.
She laughed when their friend immediately jumped in, though there was a flicker of concern when she noticed that Mitsu wasn't resurfacing. It wasn't until she balls started to shift and the werewolf's ears poked out did Xiu breathe out a sigh of relief and giggle. She was so excited about this that it was adorable! Unable to help herself, the Baku raised her camera to snap a picture.
Turning around, Xiu looked up at the reaper again, cocking her head to the side in a silent question. Was he suuuuuure that he didn't want to go in?

"Sure, whatever," Shun murmured to Lizzy as he stood by the pit of a thousand balls. Placing his hands back into his pockets, he watched as the three girls got on in. It was an incredibly childish thing but at least it looked like they were enjoying themselves.
Mitsu in particular seemed to be completely overjoyed. With the way she was right now, the Reaper's gaze softened a little more. He was aware that she had a somewhat similar issue to him as far as childhood fun went so he couldn't really imagine her having this sort of chance before. It was kind of nice to see her having a good time.
Catching Xiu's gaze, he glanced over towards her with his expression shifting back to how it normally was. Blinking to her as he wasn't sure why she was looking at him, he just shrugged and continued to watch the pit as a whole.

She giggled when Xiu played along with her and then started to chuckle softly when Mitsu dove right it. There was an amused grin on her lips as she watched the werewolf in silence; it was nice to see that someone was having this much fun in what was probably a 'scareling's corner' in the arcade... Then again, scarelings don't usually come to an arcade like this, not that she was aware of anyway; all she could see are teenagers and some adults. Her attention soon went back to the ball pit and the ghoul inside.
... Perhaps wearing a dress without wearing anything underneath was not a good idea for today.
However, she had a plan in mind - a plan to get Shun into the ball pit with them - and she wasn't about to give up. She glanced briefly at Xiu, gesturing at her camera and then at the only boil with them, "Since he doesn't want to join in, why not give him the camera to carry while you play with Mitsu and I?" It was only logical!
Holding down her skirt, Lizzy soon climbed into the ball pit of doom and was soon submerged as well, 'wading' her way to stand beside Mitsu. Once she was in, she waved at Xiu with a grin, inviting her in.

Mitsu was as pleased as punch when Lizzy joined her in the ball pit. The lycan seemed more than happy to just push the balls around like she was swimming through them. Was this what it was like to be a little scarling? If so Mitsu felt like she had missed out but there was no reason she couldn't make up for it now. Too bad Shun wouldn't join them though, she was certain the reaper would have fun. It was a ball pit. It was filled with balls. What wasn't to like? Though.....she did seem to recall Shun's traumatic experience at the haunted house. She had thought he had been lost to the world of pink and glitter only for him to return smelling of flowers and covered in lipstick. He had not been pleased.
Watching Xiu still outside the ball pit, Mitsu raised up a hand to gesture the baku to join them too. If anything at least the three of them could have fun for a little while before they moved on to something else.

Noting that both Lizzy and Mitsu was motioning for her to join, Xiu removed the camera strap from around her neck and held the object out to Shun hopefully. "Aniki?" Maybe he wouldn't join them now, but...later? It was hopeful thinking, she knew, but the mental image of the stoic reaper poking his head out of the ball pit...
It took most of Xiu's willpower not to burst out laughing.
It was a good idea to give him the camera to hold, however, or she could simply put it on the ground nearby and hope for the best. Either way, with her camera no longer dangling from around her neck, the Baku dived into the ball pit.
Quite literally dived. Headfirst. She surfaced a few seconds later, giggling.

Glancing at Lizzy and Xiu, Shun just nodded slightly before taking the camera. He didn't really plan on taking any photos but he had no problems with holding onto it for now. The Reaper did look over the device for a bit to see what model it was before just holding onto it pretty loosely.
Looking back to the ball pit, he just idly watched the three girls have their fun. He didn't understand it, but they were definitely enjoying their time in there.

She grinned when Xiu joined them, giggling at the way she dove right in... Like into a pool! Then again, this was sort of like a pool... Of colored balls. Now to move to phrase two of 'make Shun unwind and have fun', even if she was pretty sure his only expressions were ': |' and ': |'; the second expression was a little softer!
... Probably.
Taking one of the orange balls, she tossed it into the air and caught it before tossing Mitsu and Xiu a playful look. Then, without warning, she threw that same ball in Shun's direction, "BAZINGA!" While she had no idea where that came from, it was something fun to yell. Immediately after tossing the ball, she took a deep breath and vanished beneath the sea of balls.
Hopefully the ghouls would soon join her.
