Aristol smiled, then turned and took off running for Devions office. Knocking on it after adjusting the tray, then opening it. He saw Devion standing in front of his desk, looking over a map of the sea. He walked in and set the tray on the desk, turing to leave. But he stopped when Devion called his name and turned to face him, "yes?"

Devion didn't turn to face Aristol, "I need you to do something for me. Make sure Erik stays on this ship, and if we go to port, stay with him at all times. I do twang him leaving."

Aristol pursed his lips, "yes sir."

"don't call me that," hating being called sir.

Aristol smiled, "Aye, aye, cap-I-ton." saying captain weird.

Devion narrowed his eyes, he ignored that one. But he turned to face Aristol, "And I want him to get curious enough about the time he was unconscious to come ask me about it. Try to get him to talk to me."

Aristol pursed his lips, "how?"

Devion shrugged, "beats me, but come up with something."

Aristol nodded, "alright, I'll try, is that all."

Devion turned away and waved his hand, dismissing Aristol, "yeah, your done."

Aristol turned and left, he didn't think he was betraying Eriks trust, he hadnt told the captain what Erik had told him, but he wasn't going to tell Erik he was going to keep an eye on him for the captain either, so maybe he was lying to both of them in a way, that's what he was thinking about as he saw Erik and smiled, walking up to him. "do you think you can climb up to the crows nest?"

Aristol laughed, not that his story was funny just that it was ironic. He climbed up after Erik, but in his situation, he was in Eriks place and his brother Sebastien was in love with Devion, but only he and Charlie knew that. He sat next to Erik, "you know, we're a lot alike, even though Ive only lived on this ship and I'm younger then you." he thought a moment as he took a few chopped up potatoes from his bag and ate them, "what was your brother and friend like?"

Aristol looked down at his potatoes, not really hungry anymore. "sorry," he didn't know what else to say to it.

Devion walked up under the crows nest, looking up. "I don't see any rope tying Aristol. I need them secure for battle, we're heading towards enemy territory." then he walked away, he had to yell at Charlie again.

Aristol stood up, looking over the edge at Devion, "hey Erik, have you ever seen a pirate battle before?"

Aristol looked at Erik, smiling at him, "well you just might see one now. If one does happen, go into Devion's office, that's the safest place you'll be." he picked up a rope, wrapping one end around his arm a few times then gripping it tight, the other end was tied to the crows nest. He knew Erik wouldn't tlike to be in Devions office, but since he's never been in a pirate battle before, it would be better to ease him in one, not toss him in the flames. Aristol waved to Erik, picking up another rope, then jumped off the crows nest, the rope that would hold onto him followed him off, but it did stop, holding him in air. Luckily he was strong enough for this, and he began tying the rope he had carried down with him around the things that would need to be secured. If there was a battle he would need to raise the sails then, but not now.

Aristol saw Erik leave, he pressed his lips together as he continued working, but he needed to finish this soon if there was going to be a battle. So he pulled himself up again and grabbed another rope, and jumped off again.

A woman saw Erik come into the room, she had been hoping it was Sebastien instead. But she smiled anyway, knowing Devions fascination with this boy, she got an ear full from him not moments ago to stay away from him. She walked towards Erik, she was a female version of Devion, well, it looked that way. "hello, lil puppet. I'm going to guess you are the famous Erik I had just gotten threatened to stay away from." she had a british accent. "but alas, it seems that's all my twin has for me these days, or a knife to the throat, but can't say I blame him for that." smiling wickedly at Erik. It seemed she and Devion shared a lot, the smile, the looks, the postures. But the way they spoke was different and there morals were like yin and yang, their personalities as well were similar, but different in someways. But everyone was scared of Devion, his name was well known. But no one was scared of Charlie, and there were reasons for that.

Charlie smiled, "are you going to listen to my brother like everyone else? I'm not that bad." she was lying, but he had no way of knowing that. "you seem scared lil puppet. Why is that?" smiling

Charlie laughed, "sorry love, but on this ship, I'm the lowest on the food chain, even though I'm the closest by blood to the cap'n. Im not letting you get higher then me when you just got here." she reached out towards him, grabbing onto Eriks wrist, she started to pull him up. But something reached out lightning quick and grabbed her throat, lifting her off the ground. Making her let go of Erik and grab onto the hand on her throat and fight for breath.

Devion looked at Charlie with a hatred in his eyes that was saved just for her. "I had just told you to stay away from him and what do you do? You go searching for him!"

Charlie tried to swallow but she couldn't, "can't breath."

Devions eyes narrowed, "good, one less problem. Erik would do better at your job, and I want him on my ship, can't say the same for you."

Charlie started to change colors, "Sebastien. Came. To. See. Sebastien."

Devion scoffed and let her drop from his grip, "Sebastien is always on deck when he's working. It is time for work, so take a wild guess at where he is and get there now. Disgusting pig,"

Charlrie coughed a bit, but then she glared at Devion and moved, leaving the room and going to find Sebastien.

Devion let out a deep breath he had been holding, he slumped where he stood once she was out of sight, then he looked at Erik. Hoping he didn't hate him for that, he did it to protect Erik, and he was mad at him at all.
