CelsusasdfImitiqwertyOliverqwerytChuck

Seeing a Riolu and Eevee down and still in danger of getting hit by the storm of divine power, Celsus abandoned his cover and headed straight for Riley and Alec. He used his tail to slide the two of them to safety in the hallway he'd been in. Of course, there was also the other problem. Namely, the fact that Oliver and Chuck were also in the storm, and near its center at that. Celsus charged at the Eevee that was in the eye of the storm, ignoring the fact that a lightning bolt had just seared a significant chunk of his side. The gold Gyarados brought his tail around in a horizontal sweep, pouring every muscle, every drop of his considerable physical power into the blow. He felt the impact crack his armor scale before another lightning bolt came out the other side of his head.

There was no pain. There was no time for pain.

"Celsus!" Oliver cried out as his leader skidded into the ground past where he'd hit Eridanus. But...blast, there wasn't time to pause. "Chuck, hurry up!"

Chuck, who'd been staring at his former leader, looked up and seemed to realize the urgency of the situation. He nodded at Oliver and they attacked.

Oliver gripped something he'd been carrying in case of exactly such an emergency.

There was a brilliant flash of light.

By the time it had faded, Oliver was already flanking Eridanus with Chuck, who continued his claw assault on the Eevee. The first knife attack broke the knife in his right hand. He switched the weapons between his hands and continued the assault.

"You're doomed, you scum. Even if you run today, you're not going to last. There will be justice for the people you killed today in the hospital and here. You will die, and there will be nothing left of you but a memory of a villain, of a murderer who should never have existed. A name that defiles the air by merely being spoken."

Epitaph -- Ver --- Erudeca

Epitaph tensed as Eridanus’ anger erupted. The Flareon scooted closer to Solaris, never looking down at the Espeon in fear of missing something. That something went off but a moment later and the barrage was released. Epitaph made a sharp gasp, laying down over the hurt Espeon with her eyes tightly closed in order to protect him in some sort of way—at least she felt so. She silently pleaded for the assault she refused to watch to just pass over them. Hearing it tear apart all that around them wasn’t comforting in the slightest despite having her face buried in her friend’s fur.
She remained there for only seconds before turning her head to the side, finally summing up the nerve to look at the Eevee. Ver was only a short distance before her. She watched his ears suddenly drop, the other Flareon frozen still before getting engulfed by light, and Epitaph closed her eyes again.
All she did was get off the beginning of a scream before getting cut off, the Flareon’s body skidding feet upon feet away from her original post over Solaris as a stray Judgement made contact. Her motionless body sparked and her tail and ears gave off minor, desynced twitches in her shock leaving her unable to consider the condition of the Espeon.
When the light left, Ver could be seen slowly limping toward a back wall Eridanus previously covered in hope that the Eevee wouldn’t look back.

Anues --- Alice

Alice was immediately victim to dumbfounded fear as her eyes followed the assault that slowly circled about the hall. She was positive they were all going to die. They couldn’t avoid that. The Kirlia shuddered, taking a solid step back only to bump into her brother. “What do we do?” “Move.” “Where?!” Alice quickly snapped around to face Anues as the assault drew closer. He looked stressed. He looked as stressed as his neutral expression would ever allow. He was thinking, quickly. Or at least trying to. The Gardevoir finally grinded his teeth, breaking his train of thought to look over at the approaching light. If he was lucky, it would only circle around once. If it came around again… Well, hopefully it wouldn’t make it this far.
“We’re going through it.” “Are you mad? We’ll die!” The Gardevoir frowned. He was assuming the attack itself was only so large. Everything else that came with it was merely a shockwave of the original assault. Something he could possibly deal with for a few seconds. Hopefully a few seconds.
Alice stepped back, her body turning toward the Judgement shortly before them. She could feel the heat and she heard nothing but it tearing through everything in its way. “I- I can’t…” Anues closed his eyes with a sigh. His psychic began to rise as a large barrier circled the siblings and Alice crossed her fingers. By God he actually wanted to try. “You’ll be fine.” Alice snapped around again at the sound of her brother’s voice. She could barely hear it over the Judgement but that might’ve just been because of who he was. “No! No. No we won’t!” “Not if you keep this up.” Alice whined, shaking her head.

Where’s Aire? Did it hit her yet? What did she do? Did she live? Alice wondered if she realized they were here. Oh she hoped she didn’t.

The Kirlia grew lost in her thoughts, Anues screamed something at her, but she couldn’t hear it in her panic. She gasped suddenly, snapping back to reality as the Gardevoir grabbed her arm and ran. She heard a loud crack, likely from the Judgement clashing with the barrier, and then she was suddenly thrown, hitting the ground with a thump that brought her back to reality entirely. She was alive. She couldn’t believe it, but she was.
The barrier shattered entirely just a fraction of a second after the original crack the Gardevoir had took as a warning. Simply throwing Alice was more likely to keep her alive than trying to run her through, and it was overall true. Anues turned off to the side as he back stepped the final stride, assuming the fluent action was enough to avoid the Judgement as the barrier shattered, not that he expected it to survive the hit. He was close, but unlucky as the attack grazed his right side, leaving his vision to flicker from the pain. He staggered back, but the shockwave promptly threw him back into the wall like a small doll. He felt nothing having been thrown into shock from the graze as he simply fell flat on his stomach from the wall, motionless and barely conscious. The shirt he originally wore shredded entirely and his side was clearly gashed against his white pigment.

Alice finally stood, her eyes watching the Judgement take its toll on the remainder of the guild. She looked at her hands then before her eyes slowly turned up and center again, only to widen in shock at the sight of her brother, and the Kirlia ran over, dropping to his side. "Anu! Get up! Are you okay? Don't you die, I swear- Blink you idiot, can you hear me?" Alice paused, watching his eyes shut slightly from their wide, pain filled position. He heard her. It wasn't a blink, but he did. Alice sighed in relief. Now what? Eridanus destroyed the hospital... "Anu, where's Aire...?" Alice grew teary as the Gardevoir pushed himself onto his left side, the right being gashed. Aire was somewhere, but he couldn't focus. He heard Alice, but he didn't have the motor skills to prove it either.

Era & Ethfael & Riley & Eon

Eon felt a smile come to his face at Nadia's question; it was such a normal question considering the circumstances they'd been placed in. "Sorry about that, the name's Eon," he said with an apologetic smile, "Your brother's name was Aidan yes? How about yours?" He didn't get to hear her response just yet though because at that exact moment Eridanus decided to set the room practically on fire with rings of Judgement that flew every which way. There was so much light and godly lightning everywhere that it was practically impossible to see, let alone to dodge it. Eon's instinct to protect his Riolu companion was still there and undying despite the odds and he grabbed onto her paw once more. "Here's hoping this works..." he murmured, half to himself and half to Nadia, before springing into action. Agility made Eon as fast as the lightning that flowed within him and he dodged this way and that to evade the bolts. He hoped that his momentum was enough to keep Nadia out of the way of them as well, at least, it seemed to be working.

When at last there was a pause in the barrage of Judgement attacks, Eon ceased his frantic movement almost as quickly as it had begun. "Now's our chance!" he said, readying a Thunder to be released. By now, at least to him, it was almost second nature knowing the right moment. He waited until Nadia looked about ready and then let the Thunder attack aim forward, adding another one to the first shortly after. Let Eridanus taste a bit of lightning too, it wasn't Judgement but it was the closest he could get.

Era and Ethfael both took immediate action when the long strain of Judgement attacks were sent all about the hall in an impressive and deadly display. There was really only one thing to be done, and that was to get away from it as quickly as possible. Both sprinted away, using their own Agility as Eon had to help them stay one step ahead of the lightning. Ethfael's Agility shifted into a Dragon Dance as he wove gracefully around the lightning, here and there being hit by sparks, but overall remaining safe. The Dragonair was preparing to do something big, and Era knew it. She moved quickly alongside him, readying her lightning to add to his attack, whatever it might be.

"Ready?" the Dragonair said, one word that seemed to hang in the air amidst the chaos that hit the ground all around them. Era nodded, and Ethfael turned abruptly, his tail moving faster than she would have thought possible and the Dragon Tail slamming into the side of Eridanus, just a certain Gyarados had done moments ago. Unlike Celsus however, Ethfael managed to double back when the Judgement retaliation came and got back with only some large nasty looking burns on his side. He wasn't about to complain though, it was better than death. Era, who had offered her Helping Hand with Ethfael's last attack, now released her Discharge toward the Eevee, Ethfael was right behind her, letting a Dragon Rage fly through and force the electric attack through to hit the Eevee. They would have kept going as well, but it seemed their luck was up. A Judgement was sent straight at Era, with more of the attack on all sides. The Pikachu froze, unable to move from a sudden paralyzing fear and it may well have been her end if it weren't for her partner. Ethfael leaped forward, grabbing Era once more and bolting out of the way, biting back a cry of pain as he broke through the Judgement and they tumbled out on the other side, the Dragonair covered with burns.

"Ethfael!" Era cried out, wriggling free of her partner's tail in a moment that seemed almost like deja vu. "Ethfael, are you alright? Please tell me you're alright!" The Pikachu's heart was racing wildly and she stared at him, her paw on the side of his head and concern shining in her eyes. "Wake up Ethfael, please wake up! You have to!" There were so many things that she wanted to say but couldn't, he had to be alright, he had to be alright.

After a moment, the Dragonair's eyes opened slowly, and he took in the sight of Era's concern. With a calm smile he shook his head, "I'm alright, you don't need to worry." He moved the tip of his tail over to her and used it to pull the Pikachu close. "It'll be alright..." he murmured, eyes closing to block out the pain once more, "It'll be alright."

Claire && Rani && Isanna && Arden

Claire watch the scene unfold out before her. The golden gyarados and the brave dragonair. 'I have to go with them..' They were ending this battle. 'I need to too. It's time this stopped.' This wasn't the time for fear, in fact, it was far from an option. Claire twisted around, avoiding stray on fire as it struck the ground nearby. There was a move she had leaned when she first join the guild that she always wished to try again, an attack which had always ended in failure, so for this long she had ignored it. You see, it is quite complicated, no matter the extreme speed, to charge across an entire field without crashing when your body was no longer the a caterpie's. However, she was no longer the same as she were back then. Her body had grown nearly 4 times since those days. Now, perhaps it was time to give it another shot.
As the two behind her sent a few fused flurries of Ice Shards and Air Slashes, Claire rushed across the hallway, quickly shifting her speed and charging forward into a Dragon Rush. A small formed on her face as she flew past the the strikes of lightning. She hardly touched the ground now as she now glided. 'I can do this, I will...' The dratini rammed into the black and white eevee, gritting her teeth at the harsh recoil. 'I won't let you get away with what you've done, Eridanus... No one will.' The dratini fired a Dragon Rage at him while she was propelled back, 'What you've done here is long since unforgivable.' Claire skidding across the ground behind her, firing once again. 'You're not a god, you're a disgrace.' The young women glanced into the air, a bright holy light heading straight for her. Her body had no time to react. 'And one day, you'll be judged too.'
And Judgement struck her.
Just like in the movies, or what she had heard from different pokemon, her life flashed before her eyes. The day she made her rescue team, the first mission her and her partner completed, her childhood in the silver trench. The red blaze in her eyes lost her fire as the familiar words of her mother reached her. 'When someone dies with a pure heart, the entire world weeps over them.' There were so many innocent lives lost this night, would the world weep forever? Would it weep for her too? Her heart ached and prayed for the guild, and for her teammates most of all. Arceus, if he could, keep them safe.
Claire finally let go of her grip on life.
The body of a dratini was left on the ground, sparks dancing around it's body.

User Image~Aidan & Nadia

Nadia would've responded to the question presented to her but for the moment it seemed more appropriate to cringe in fear of the worst to come with eyes closed tightly as the Judgement attacks around them became more synchronized and far less avoidable than the already hellish attacks that they were. She was sure they were done in for; the only thing bringing her back to reality being the strange feeling of a breeze flying by her and the fact that her feet were no longer touching the ground. Until now, opening her eyes up once more, she hadn't even noticed that she was once again scooped up in the grasp of the now introduced Eon and weaving through the fatal bolts of energy that surrounded them. The duo moving so quickly that she was rarely able to plant her feet to the ground from the sheer speed; the young Pokemon comparable to a kite in the wind getting dragged along behind the Pikachu. The sudden halt to come and declaration of being in a predicament in which they were open to retaliate being equally alarming as the Riolu could do nothing else but play along with each moment as it passed grateful for her life. Although their attacks weren't as combined efficiently as the last few, it was the sheer secession of hits that made up for this fact. With each bolt of electricity to be released from her Chu companion, a Vacuum Wave of her own was added; Nadia making wild claw slashes at the air before her that turned into barely visible blades of energy that landed in time with the Thunder attacks. The barrage continuing like this for as long as they could hold it out in their open area.

.::Boros & Rem & Geisha & Will & Mako & Siegfried::.

Boros snarled as his new violent friends' friend got whacked. Sure, one of them got a little more violent, but still! He trained his glare on the hideous corpse before them, Judgements dancing around him, always skimming by, never striking.

"I may be willing to forgive you for being a horrible shot," he hissed, punctuated by another Judgement blasting apart the ground next to him, so close his fur stood on end. He grunted, unimpressed, and continued. "But this," he said, gesturing about him at the carnage, "is just poor taste!" The darkness around his heels began to rise, gathering into a solid shape above his head, coalescing into what appeared to be a claymore made of darkness. He smirked at Eridanus.

"This is how you aim, jackass!!" he cackled, and the claymore shot forward, as though to run through him from nose to tail.

---

Meanwhile, Geisha and Sieg fell back against the wave of Judgements flying toward them. Geisha looked toward, Mako, still in the thick of the storm.

"Mako! Get Rem and get back! Hurry!"

Mako looked, nodded, and then stopped as a Judgement cracked the floor in front of his feet. Geisha's heart skipped a beat.

"Hold on!!" she shouted to Mako, then to Sieg and Will, "Keep attacking! I'll go get them!" And with that, she sank into a puddle of shadows and vanished. Sieg and Will were already on the offense, launching Thunderbolts and Focus Blasts into the fray. At the same time, a shadow rose and enveloped Mako and Rem, whisking them away just as a Judgement obliterated the wall they had been leaning against.

Solaris---Jasper---Aire---Evelyn---Alec

Attacks flew overhead from left to right, the room was filled with noise of Pokemon scrambling for cover or screaming their vengeance. Amidst it all Eri stood in silence, unflinching as a Thunderbolt seared along his side and a Dragon Rage parted the fur atop his head.
As the last Focus Blast fizzled out of existence a silence filled the void left behind. The Eevee closed his eyes, a faint white glow spreading from the tip of his remaining ear to the stubby, tattered remains of his tail.
As the light faded he stepped forward, his wounds knitting together and fur growing back over bloody patches of skin. When he was as he'd been before, the Eevee lifted his muzzle into the air and gave a bark of "ENOUGH!" Those calm, red eyes shifted from Pokemon to Pokemon never lingering for longer than a second.
"Do you see this? Do you see me? While you all drop like Flygon I stand here untouched. I am too powerful, surely you must know this by now.""We'll never stop." Solaris pushed himself to his paws, unsteady. The Espeon staggered forward, his tail dragging behind him like a dead snake.
"We won't lay down and take this. We won't let you win."Eri's ears flicked lightly, he watched Solaris wobble from side to side as he forced himself to remain upright.
"Look at you. You're a mess." The Eevee shook his head before turning back to the guilds as a whole.
"But I give you a chance to get what you want! Do as I say and you'll be rewarded greatly!"
He raised a paw and waved it as though greeting an old friend who stood some distance away, but instead of a visitor a flury of paper swept in through the windows to scatter across the hall. They listed a detailed description of a certain Psychic type...as well as a reward....of a Jirachi.
"It is a simple task and in doing so will net you whatever you desire. Bring me that Gardevoir and you can have her."
Next to him on the floor, a small silver bird-cage formed as though being drawn into existence with quick swipes of a paintbrush.
Huddled inside the cage, a tiny blue and white Jirachi peered around with wide eyes and a tearful expression.
"Think of it. ANYTHING you could possibly want will be yours!" The Normal type gave a wide, maddening smile as he turned around in circles to address a few individuals.
"YOU!" His eyes landed on Stark, sharp teeth grinning at him. "Wouldn't you love to get rid of your little...'problem'?''He cast his gave to a white Poochyena and Tropius next, "Bring back the ones you've lost?"
To a Pikachu and Dragonair duo, "The power to protect the ones you care about?" The Eevee snorted in annoyance before turning his back to them and padding for the door.
"Think about it." His teleport blocker vanished and he himself was not far behind, with the swift crack of a teleport he was gone.
Noting the chaos die down and her psychic able to react once more, Aire took this chance to teleport right to Anues side and in a blink the two and Alice had vanished. The Kirlia was unfortunately dragged along for the ride.
Evelyn broke away from her new allies to rush to Alec's side and paw at him in a panic. He stirred, but didn't wake up and the Eevee sprawled under him seemed just as badly off. The Growlithe had no time to fret over whose team he was in. She'd just drag them both to th infirmary now. Slinging them one by one onto her back she bounded off and out the room.

Solaris starred at the spot Eridanus had been in, his eyes swept the room that was partially destroyed and strewn with the bodies of fallen Pokemon.
Arceus, no. A massive Gyarados partially filled the right section near the West Wing hall, a tiny Dratini was crumpled in the middle of the room, a familiar dark-shape was....no. Dammit. Lucinda.
"Solaris." A voice snapped him from his thoughts and he turned to see Jasper crawl over the Gyarados' tail and limp towards him.
"He has Digit..."
Digit, the Jirachi that had been particularly close with the grizzled, old Raichu.
"We'll get her back."
"No you won't. I will." Without another word the electric type strutted out with determination and anger.
The Espeon held his breath as he watched him leave, his eyes landing on a mass of silver and blue fur. Epitaph...
He dashed over, as swiftly as he could considering, and skid to a stop at her side. His muzzle dipped into the fur of her neck in a panic. Pulse, pulse, pulse, be alive, be alive, be al-oh, thank the legendary.
A faint flicker thrummed against his nose and he withdrew his muzze, nearly collapsing with relief.
Turning to eye the other survivors in the room he swallowed the bile that threatened to crawl up his throat.
"G-good...job....no...please just, everyone go back to your rooms. Rewards will be delivered to...to you..." He felt the tears start before he could stop them, they were all going to die. They were all going to lose...

Epitaph -- Ver --- Erudeca

Ver watched Eridanus in silence from far behind the Eevee, using a wall for balance as his legs trembled beneath him. What a rat this thing was. How he had the ability to still speak and act so clearly was beyond him. Eridanus didn't seem fazed in the slightest. They had to fight that? Again? How long from now? The Flareon growled lowly, noting his broken paw before looking back up as the Eevee began addressing people.
He was a rat alright.
Ver shook his head before limping off as the remainder of Eridanus' lovely little speech ended. He had things to take care of and it was safe to assume Deca didn't make it. He knew it, he just wasn't ready to believe it.

Epitaph remained still, though acknowledging Solaris' rush toward her. She didn't bother opening her eyes or giving any true movement in her thoughtless state though as he spoke, she twitched her tail against the Espeon. Nothing more, nothing less.

( Purple & Jay )

The team seemed to have been frozen, Purple not even getting time to properly talk or thank the Growlithe that had helped them out. As soon as the fight had started, it seemed to have ended, one last judgement going around. Jay picked up his comrade once more, dancing out of the electricity the best he could, one bolt coming so close it singed his fur.

He was tired. His legs wobbled and hurt from all the quick movement, and he just didn't feel like going back into a Zorua. Papers began to fill the hall around them, Purple catching one as he begun to read it. Jay, on the other hand, was staring at Eridanus. Damn that eevee, he just wanted to stab him or something! He glanced over at the Jirachi, the poor thing...keeping a legendary like that, offering it up as some sort of prize, that was just cruel. The only reason he would find that Gardevoir was to get that Jirachi to safety.

Purple folded up the paper, sitting on top of it as he got comfortable. "This whole thing seems fishy. A Jirachi is a very big reward, so the guy they're after must be important. And if its someone important...we best not get involved." he said. Jay nodded, right, right...

"Lets go home" the Zorua told him, starting to walk away. He had to check up on Red, he had to see how everyone else was.

—¤÷(`Nadia & Luke & Zorora ´)÷¤—

After Eridanus finished his little speech then walked away like nothing ever happened, the Lucario seemed to breath heavily from all the tiredness he gain from trying to attack the godly Eevee. His attempts was minor compared to what the others did. He didn't even realize that his ears was pulled back since Nadia got hit by a Judgement. Speaking of her, he looked back at his fallen captain with concern clouded his chest. He paced quickly towards her and checked once again if her pulse is still there. He pressed in harder as he started to panic. She couldn't have gone during the fight, he felt her pulse last time. Luke let go of his breath he held once he detected a pulse. It was much smaller than last time though.

Zorora slowly approached him. Her tail was dragged along the floor and her ears fell flat. She opened her mouth once to try and say something but she closed it again in failing to find any good words to say. She saw a glimpse of his eyes turning towards her which pressured her more to say anything at all. "Luke I.." Her voice trailed off as she began to speak. Like it was escaping from trying to say what she's trying to say. All in all, she just doesn't know how to react in a grief moment.

"No, no, she's fine." He said, cutting the little brown Eevee's sentence. "I should apologize instead for not responding to your question earlier." He continued as if he knew what she was about to say. "Please return to your team room, I..I need to be alone at the moment if you do not mind." His eyes glanced at his captain. He watched her nodded with haste and trotted back to her Team Room before he carefully picked up the body of the Mightyena and brought it back to his Team Room to take care of her because obviously his not a medical profession but Roxana might know a thing or two. Besides the Hospital is destroyed, maybe bring her to the Infirmary later today. He'll just have to settle in the Team Room in the mean time.

Claire && Rani && Isanna && Arden

Isanna looked on in horror at the unmoving body of the dratini. Her body was shaking; Wasn't it just earlier today she had spoken with the small dragon, and now... Her body froze as Eridanus momentarily focused on her and the large tropius beside her. "Yes.." she muttered. Not just Claire, but everyone else that had died tonight. Arceus, it just wasn't fair. After she had said so, a paper had fluttered down before her. She placed a paw on it so it wouldn't fly away. Tears came to her eyes as the monochrome eevee left, anger and misinformation clouding her judgement. "This is it?" she growled, "All this hurt and death and madness for the sake of one pokemon. God, why not just give him what he wants then this wouldn't have to happen!" This was far from what she signed up for. Her body started shaking harder and harder, what the hell was really going on here.
She was about to shout some more, but Arden swept a wing down in front of her. "It's out of our hands.." he said lowly.
"Who's then? Who would let this all go on?" she whispered. Isanna shook her head, none of this made sense damnit. It was just a gardevior! They could save that jirachi and fix all that was broken. Something told her it wasn't that easy, but she didn't care. The tropius looked down at her sadly and motioned her forward, stepping next to Rani and leaning down. The white, dark type sighed and dug her head under the nidoran, lifting her up and placing her on his back. She let out a low moan as she did so. Well, at least she was still alive. Her gaze traveled over to Claire's body. What could they do with her, they certainly couldn't leave her there...
"How are we going to break the news?" she wondered quietly.

- Echo - - Zephyr - - Gypsy -

How was it even possible for this... Eridanus to harm so many Pokemon then just teleport away like it was nothing? Zephyr stared at the empty space where the Eevee just stood moments before, speechless. His own thoughts must have been shared with many others, as silence and shocked mumbles spread across the room.

Echo closed her eyes after taking a quick look at her teammate. "There's nothing else we can do right now other than take Gypsy to the infirmary and head home."

The Scyther sighed. "You're right... You're very right." This was a little too much death and destruction for him, though he enjoyed a good fight every once in a while. This probably would have been just another one of those guild fights if Gypsy hadn't gotten hurt. But she did, and she'd have to be taken care of. Zephyr carefully picked up Gypsy with the backs of his scythes and slung her over his shoulder. This wasn't a way to carry a lady, but what else are you going to do with huge scythes?!

{ I already have a dragon egg, if there's anyone that would like to trade... }

"Look, Imiti," Oliver was saying, "It's not your fault. You couldn't have stopped Eridanus from flinging Judgment everywhere. If you'd tried, you would've been shredded. Celsus knew the risks when he went in, and he accepted them. The best we can do for him now is remember why he did it, and not let it be in vain. Besides, you're team leader now. Be a team leader, will you?."
