Relief washed over Caim as Barth decided to talk to him. "Caimeron Thorne. Err, but Caim is fine." The statement was suspiciously similar to what the other demon had just said, just... with his name clipped out and Caim's put in it's place. "I don't think I can vote. Just visiting and all. Err, we haven't met, no."
He wished he was as impressive as the demon he was speaking to. It would make this whole thing that much easier and less awkward. Nervously he flicked his head, hair moving away further from the small, chameleon-like horns that protruded from his forehead for a moment before settling back into place. "I'm, err. Your cousin."
He didn't notice the ghoul as she sized him up. So he continued to stand, slightly slouched.

"My what? ...Thorne, you said?" Barth said, trying to rack his brain for relatives on his mother's side of the family. Although Thorne could lean towards...slothish. He had thornish-type abilities crop up every now and again, but they served more as...pointers to him being distressed than anything useful.
"Earth elemental?" he tried, regardless.

West sighed dramatically, the upturned pucker of his lips doing little to ruffle his newly cut hair. Not for the first time he regretted having given in to his mother's nagging, but now wasn't the time to mourn his discarded locks. Hair grew back. No, now was the time to be vigilant, to seek out troublemakers and break them. Painfully. The problem was, everyone around here was being so... nice. No vandals or thieves or even students with somewhat loud mouths. Just fish and games and friendly fun. Bah.
"Gimme one uh those," he said, shuffling out of the shadows and making a grab for Colette's goatee cauldron. Sticking more facial hair on top of the smattering he had already might have seemed like a dumb idea, but West seemed fairly desperate for entertainment at this point and it clearly wasn't going to take much to keep him occupied.

Oh no. Why wasn't a Lilith suddenly a ghost? Colette had finally come over and was... insisting. Not just insisting, she was using Batholomew's campaign to get her to. She really didn't want to but the stick up on goatee kept getting closer and closer until it was nearly part of her face. Her eyes narrowed, and her face turned into a frown. If it was for her friend Bartholomew then...
"Fine," she murmured, taking the goatee from Colette and sticking it on her face, giving an impressive scowl in campaign support.
She didn't look at the slow demon, quickly turning away from the sloth demon and to the wrath demon. Her eyes shot to him, and she finally realized what was different. His hair, it had been cut. Her scowl deepened even more impressively as she slid towards him.
"West, you look good with short hair," with such a scowl it was quite hard to tell if she was serious or not.

"Err, no. Avarice. Envy." He sighed. "If I were an Earth Elemental..." The longing was apparent in his voice. He gave a little shrug of his shoulders, disappointed in the impossibilities. "Err, Rasputher is our grandfather. And his brother. We're second cousins, actually."
Caim glanced distractedly towards the new demon that had come up. He looked so cool. From his haircut to the clothes he wore. If only Caim had the means to pay for such extravagances and finery. His clothes were so nice. He glanced back over at Barth, who also was dressed pretty smartly, to be honest, and sighed.
"Err. Claire, too."

Joachim stared, in an almost let me creep you out stare as the corner edges of his frown seemed to flicker into a smile. It was like heaven being flocked around by other students, not that the fact that the loud noises all only seemed to make it seem a little hellish.
"It's a..... couch.......... can we sit on this couch?" He asked unaware of whose booth it was, the purpose of the booth or even who he was asking. He didn't care if he could sit for a few minutes close his eyes and maybe drift away he would be happy beyond belief. He was even unaware of the small ghoul running around taking pictures of students visiting, Merel on the other hand squeaked loudly waving her tiny paws in the air wanting.

"Err, Rasputher, you said?" Barth repeated, nervously. Ah. ...Ah. That side of the family. Claire wouldn't know who Rasputher was, but he knew. ...And wondered how much Caim knew about it. "Very nice to meet you," he finished. "Always err, nice to run into another family member."
"The couch is very definitely for sitting," Barth encouraged Joachim. He wished, in retrospect, he had brought more couches. On this note, he cleared his throat, and said aloud,
"Very lacking in couches, our hallways. First thing to change, the couch deficiency situation."

The demon didn't have to speak twice as Joachim immediately flopped down on the couch leaning his back closing his eyes shut from the light. It was a pity he was too polite to put his feet up on the table in front considering it seemed that it was full of promotional items such as a few plushies Merel squeaked happily to want.
He waved his hand in a bit of a flourish manner, "I agree I would love to see more couches in the hallways.... is this a campaign booth? I am truly sorry I did not pay attention to what it was before I sat down."

Well, that was certainly an interesting face. "Hey, um, thanks... Lilith?" West replied, unsure as to whether or not hers had been an actual compliment. She was one of the few people he wouldn't react violently toward if it hadn't been, but that didn't leave him any less confused.
He affixed his newly-liberated Barth goatee over his own and smiled faintly. "An' you look good wit'his scrubby lil' baby beard," he muttered. West gestured vaguely toward Barth, then squinted at Caim as the envy demon gave him a once over. Was this new kid starting something? No? West almost sighed again, instead turning his attention back to Lilith. "How've y'been?"

A hand reached into Colette's cauldron, and she could feel it. Sense it.
No, it was really the demanding 'gimme one uh those,' that drew her attention. She didn't have magic goatee powers. Not yet.
As Lilith was putting her goatee on, the Grim Reaper looked to see West putting a goatee on top of his goatee for double goatee action. Everyone was going to have one of these by the time she was done. Colette didn't even have to ask West! Searching for more visitors to plant a goatee on, she spotted Joachim -- whom she had met at prom -- lounging on the couch.
"Joachim! Here, take a barth-for-president-goatee," she commanded more than suggested. Colette held one of the attachable facial hairs out the the boil and then frowned upon seeing Merel. "I don't have a small one for Merel though." Why didn't they have super tiny goatees? This was serious business.

Joachim opened his eyes as the some what familiar ghoul handed him a goatee trying to recall where she was from. Prom! She looked different wearing something other than a gown.
"Colette! Errr... thank you!" He replied looking at the goatee she handed him for a moment, as far as he was concern if the demon could get more couches in the hall there was no reason to vote for anyone else. He stuck it on his chin getting a small vibe of looking like his grandfather except without the white look and wrinkles.
"Its ok.... she would actually be happy with a plushie to cuddle with," Wondering how Merel would treat sticking a goatee under her nose. There was a high possibility she would end up eating it by the end of the day.

"No problem." Really. As if she needed all these goatees. "Oh, and I think we have more than enough plushies for her to cuddle with," she added. "There's a Barth, Mandy, West, and Claire doll." The plush in Barth's wonderful napping pose was probably best. And never mind the fact Claire's doll is a potato.
Colette stood there and took a moment to admire all the goatee wielding boils and ghouls at Barth's booth. She was no longer the only one, but she needed more...
Dropping a handful of goatees on the booth, Colette turned to Barth and hugged the small cauldron up to her chest. "Barth, can I go out and hand off goatees for your Booth? I'll take the cauldron leave some here." Roam the Floresctival dressed like a lady version of the Sloth Demon. Yep.

"Much thanks," she said, her scowl lightening just a tiny bit when West complimented her regardless of the fact there was scrubby little baby beard that was awkwardly stuck onto her face. There was certainly something fetching about West; thus, Lilith's scowl finally left her face. Perhaps it was because of their history, his avarice demon status or maybe the goatee he had going on but the reaper was more than pleased to see him.
"Oh, I've been fine; keeping busy," she said, her finger tangling around her hair as she played with it. "Yourself?"

"Greaaat," he replied, the word drawn out in a sigh as he scanned the booth again. Still no fighting. From what he could tell, no one was even miffed in the slightest. When his gaze found Lilith again his own features froze for a barely perceptible moment. Why did she look like she was going to eat him?
West coughed into his hand. "Good, good. I've, uh, jus' been doin' school stuff, y'know?" He didn't add that two different ghouls had managed to kick his a** since the last time they had conversed at any length. Once upon a time, it had been one of his top priorities to keep Lilith safe and he didn't want her to think him incapable of it now.

Barth was once again drawn away from conversation as someone mentioned couches. Caim lifted a hand, finger extended, mouth open as he tried to say something in reply. Anything to get his attention back on Caim instead of the stranger. He had come all this way to speak with the sloth demon, after all. And Claire if he could find her.
But it was too late. Barth was distracted and Caim was left just standing there a little pathetically. His mouth closed into a thin line as he watched with a flicker of envious anger as Barth spoke with someone else. He wanted the attention. With a frown he turned and kicked at one of the tables, making it jolt slightly, the things on top of it just slightly jumping in place. One of the items on top shifted enough to topple over the edge and onto the ground.
