Mei couldn't help but stare at the glitch ghost from the corner of her eye. Never before had she seen such a ghost, but still..she was a ghost like all the rest. Just more..interesting.
Nodding to the cowboil, she gestured a small wave in greetings. "I'm Mei. You new here or just here for the festival?"
Her mouth twisted up into a smile as she listened to the manticore continue. She was beginning to like this ghoul by the minute. Her smile only grew into a grin as the unknown demon boil began to correct her on her mistake. It was too much for the doll, as she let a out a laugh when Cady spoke again.

Pepin was beginning to take a liking to the manticore's banter with the demon boil and merely put a hand over her mouth to hide any snickering.
"I think we are witnessing an un-winnable battle here~"

Yorugami felted another eye twitch incoming; instead he flicked his tail in irritation. The manticore either had an mental problem, a hearing problem or just wasn’t paying attention to what he’d been saying. The shadow demon held back and pondered for a moment. He’d hate it terribly if he’d alienate this ghoul just because he was never really quite sure how societal niceties were observed, yet he could feel his hand itching in that terrible way when he wanted to provoke someone so bad.
I mean…would it hurt so much? Would she run? Would it be worth the effort for a little amusement? But damn, Yorugami was tempted insanely.
The shadow demon felt his head crest settle down, stared down the ghoul then...
“LOOK WATER!” He exclaimed suddenly out of nowhere, no longer able to contain himself. His wings flickered almost into visibility at his action.

Edel bent down to return the excitable rot bear a high-five. Wait, was that a low-five? Hm. There was a lot of unceremonious telling of students to scram and get lost by the two in charge, to which Edel's response was to make sure she was out of the way. It wasn't right to incur the wrath and annoyance of two already-very irate people. The frost demon gave the tent a quick scan, quickly noticing the loud-mouthed manticore ghoul as she asked a rather.... Edel couldn't find an appropriate word to describe her question, but the manticore seemed earnest and excited. A vampire boil too, had made his appearance, clearly lost and asking for directions in a cowboy fashion. Right, there was that hat. Their questions were answered by a night demon and a doll-like ghoul respectively. The ongoing discussion between the manticore and the night demon was humorous, albeit exasperating to hear. Edel turned away to hide her smile, and motioned for the rot bear to lead the way.

Cady furrowed her eyebrows in concern, glancing at the western looking boil. "AM I little? Is that a bad thing?" She'd never been called little before. Or lady, for that matter.
Her attention was drawn back to the feather-headed masked boil she'd been talking to. Water? She followed the line of his gesture. She didn't see any, but maybe she wasn't looking hard enough. Suddenly something occurred to her.
"OH, pshhhh, my name's not Water, it's CADY!" Now where had he gotten an odd idea like that?

AWEOSME. Owl strutted into the tent with a cool expression. She was so ready, bro. So ready. Wow. There were so many halls. " TENT HUNTER FOREVING!" ((OOC i'm going next door for dinner so sorry for the short reply! feel free to have edel go or do anything- i don't want to leave you hanging if something happens))

His prank backfired horribly. It was density. He knew. Such utter density in the brain matter that it fairly rivaled stone and probably even diamond and he had absolutely no hope in winning.
Looking around, Yorugami noted the amused faces of several boils and ghouls watching in the periphery.
“Bah, I give up.” He finally uttered and faced the Manticore again,” I’m Yorugami by the way. Nice to meet you Cady.”
He peered closer at her curious facial expression and tried to decipher if she was really like that 24/7 or she merely liked to hide her intelligence. Weren’t manticores smart? He remember vaguely reading something about it….or were those Sphinxes?

Zeke smiled at the ghoul, "Nice to meet you Miss Mei. I'm actually just checkin' out the festival." He took a moment to look at Mei. "Are you a student at the Academ---" interupted by an slightly irritated manticore.
"No, ma'am." caught by surprise, Zeke pulled up his neckerchief to hide his mouth. What a sassy ghoul, he thought as he watched her attention turn to the demon boil. Though he couldn't help but find her amusing

Alright. So you would think the she-wolf had learned her lesson about approaching strange and very creepy looking structures. But of course she hadn't. It was that damnable curiosity of hers! Kept getting the best of her. And she'd somehow managed to lose track of her best friend and the puppy. Skulls! What was she thinking? Losing track of Ren and Jove so she comes to investigate some creepy looking tent?! LW was clearly starting to lose her mind or something! But here she was, eying the dark tent with mistrust and moving closer to the others milling about. Did she know anyone here? Maybe?
Feeling that gut clenching warning that this was probably going to end up scaring the ever living crap out of her, LW tried to muster up some courage and entered the tent. And regretted it as soon as she was in. Oh Jack it wasn't very bright. Or maybe her half-hooded gaze was part of the problem? Yes, okay. She was a big fat chicken. That had a bad habit of subjugating herself to things that would freak her out.
One step. Another. Sniffing at the air (she was a werewolf), LW followed the stronger scents of others that had passed through. She stuck to the most recent scents, figuring those would be the people she found the quickest. As to whether she wanted to find these people or not, that would remain to be seen. Still, she followed along and when she heard some voices, the she-wolf picked up her pace until she found a small group. Oh thank Jack! At least she wouldn't be alone. And why no, she did not jump once or twice when there was loud back and forth 'chatter' going on. LW made sure to mutter a soft, "Sorry!" To whomever she'd bumped into when she did flinch a little. Such a courageous werewolf she was!

The glitch ghost was right. It was an un-winnable battle, but it was damned amusing.
It appeared many students were drawn to the festivities, as many faces were unfamiliar to her. "I see." Waiting for him to finish, he was interrupted by the manticore, who seemed displeased.
Watching for a moment, she grinned wider when the demon boil gave up entirely. "Ding ding!" Reaching for Cady's arm, she held up as one would in a boxing match. "We have a winner!" Laughing, she released the ghouls arm again. "Well. That was fun. Now what?"
Upon hearing what sounded like a student stumble, Mei craned her neck to see whom it was that was creating all the ruckus. "LW?"

Another tent visitor? Pepin was a flurry of both excited and disappointed to see it was another student. At this point some explaining was needed, not more weary souls wandering in.
Though smiling courteously to the werewolf the ghost rocked on her heels and threw her a limp wrist. She didn't get brushed but still heard the ghoul uttering an apology.
Should Pepin be in her shoes she'd have to ask, 'what is going on in this thread?' Especially since they now had a funny talking vampire added in the mix.

Edel smiled and followed Owl down the hall. To be honest she was just as excited about an ~adventure~ (though this hardly counted as one), but the rot bear could make things so much more fun. She turned around briefly as the heated bantering between the manticore and the shadow demon escalated into one where the ghoul had yelled her name aloud for all to hear. Cady. Cady from Open House? Edel recalled their brief encounter at the library, but felt that perhaps now was not the time to interrupt the two of them. Turning back to follow Owl, the frost demon spotted an orange haired gentleman skulking the the corner looking rather moody. He seemed to be alone, and Edel was hesitant to approach. However, a polite greeting could do no harm, she figured as she greeted the boil with a bow. “ Good evening to you Sir” ((It's alright, I SHOULD SCOOT SOON TOO))

"It's nice to meet you Yorugami," she replied brightly, if not smartly. She watched as more boils and ghouls continued to file in. Pretty soon they'd be forced down the hall due to overcrowding!
"You should never give up," Cady quipped, attention drawn back from their dim surroundings. "Or um. Star lenders. Yeah. Are you a sheep? Because, you know, they go bah all the time." She leaned into his face, squinting. He didn't look particularly wooly.
This observation was momentarily put aside as a one eyed ghoul lifted her arm into the air. "I won something? I WON SOMETHING!" She pumped the air with her fist. Winner winner, want some dinner. Her stomach rumbled loudly.

Yorugami watched, half in irritation and half in amusement as the doll-like ghoul raised the manticore’s arm and proclaimed “winner”. He certainly knew when throwing up the white flag was in order.
The demon vaguely wondered, in the back of his mind, if something went wrong somewhere with his manticore for he certainly was no sheep. There was no fluff to him at all. It made his crest feathers rise to their fullest in indignation. Nothing fluffy about demons at all….of his sort anyway.
“I am not fluffy.” He deadpanned. He wasn’t sure she’d even get the point. Cue in eye twitch. He didn't realize he'd totally miss the point about going "bah" in his intense focus on the word "sheep" = fluff.
The shadow demon was then distracted by the one-eyed ghoul and noted that the doll was so pretty, and were those cracks running on her skin? Yorugami’s curiousity was getting the better of him, he dearly wanted to pry those pieces apart and see what was inside.
Distracted but aware, he felt his wings twitch invisibly behind him at the sounds of a stumble. What’s happening? He quickly turned an inquisitive glance towards the noise.

As more students suddenly appearing, Zeke just noticed a strange ghost. But it wasn't your typical ghost... Some parts of her faded in and out with strange writing. He furrowed his eyebrows at the ghoul in confusion. What in Jack is THAT? Zeke took another look at her and rubbed his eyes in disbelieve that she's a ghost? Maybe his eyes were playing tricks on him. Maybe this tent is playing tricks on him? Either way, Zeke figured that ghoul was out of the ordinary.
"Um... Are you..." Zeke stopping himself from asking the question. He didn't want to anger her if he were to finish.
