Misa stared at him behind her mask. While she may not have needed her ANBU gear, not many people knew her outside of it. She was always told that as an agent of the ANBU, you had to keep your identity a secret... something she ascertained and held herself to do. Once Taka commented on her stealth, she gave a slight nod, for she wasn't trying to be stealthy at all. In that matter, she wanted him to know she was there so he wouldn't attack her thinking she was intruding.

The note she had barely slipped off from him and floated gently to the ground amidst the crackling that came from him. Her head twitched to the left just slightly when he mentioned of Haven and his real reason for calling upon her assistance. She listened to him and his explination to her, but she really wasn't aware of the all of the shinobi in the village. It was possible she could find some leads as to a third member to this squad... but she needed details as to what he was looking for.

"Are there any parameters you're looking for in particular?" she asked, her voice slightly muffled from behind the mask. There was one she could think of that would be prominent for support if he needed that role. One similar to her own... She wasn't even sure if these were students or Genin he was training.

Seiko had decided to take a stroll that morning, being sure to stay as far away from the village as possible. She didn't feel like dealing with a bunch of noise at the moment. Silence would do her just fine. Sadly, it didn't seem as though she would get it. A female voice was able to be heard not too far off, and the young Sazanari child sighed. Silence. Was it such a hard thing to come by now-a-days? Perhaps a change of direction would better suit her.

Before she was able to turn and take a different route, the young girl was able to spot the couple she was able to overhear. A young woman in her late teens it seemed was speaking to an older male about a mask. What was that about ANBU missions? They must have been a couple of Shinobi on a secret rendezvous. If that was true, perhaps Seiko found something entertaining after all. Nothing better than a real life romance drama. She'd read a lot of the books, but never seen such a thing in person.

Thinking for only a second on whether or not she actually should just leave them alone or walk right in and personally mess things up for them, she decided on the more entertaining option. Walking up to them, she played herself off as dumber than she actually was.

"Hey! Didn't think anyone else was gonna be here. What are you two here for? Picnic?"

Reaching out with his palm up and just his index and middle fingers extended, Taka hooked the bottom of her mask and pulled it up and off. Well at least he was trying to do so, he thought himself too quick for her to stop him, but they'd see. Meanwhile he went about talking to her. "This isn't a mission, I told you there's no reason for this mask." He smiled as he tried to take it off. "I just need to do this for me as a friend, okay? Besides it might freak a little Academy Student out for a member of the ANBU to come looking for them haha." Taka had sensed the girl from some distance away, but since he could tell she was nothing particulary special, he ignored her. As she got close though, Taka turned to face her, smiling happily.

"Well not quite, though we are waiting for some people to join us so we can eat a new Ramen dish, would you like to join us?" Taka asked of the young girl as he gave Misa a look. The look said that this girl was exactly what he was looking for. She kept her hair tied up, which was a sign of stealth, as long hair could get in the way. Her arms where also thin yet strong, not in a fist fighting sort of way, but it looked as if she could throw something quite the distance. Maybe even use a bow out to a great distance, and remain accurate.

Grapple vs Misa to remove mask: 16 + MAB (85) = 101
Innuendo vs Seiko: 1d20 + Innuendo skill points + Charisma modifier Vs Opponent’s sense motive roll (Autosuccess)

The older man seemed nice enough. Seiko offered up a warm smile to the male as she nodded her head. Food sounded like something she could go for. But only if she didn't have to pay. If she had to, there would be a little bit of a problem. The girl had no money. And leaving a bill to someone nice enough to offer her to join them would be just plain rude, and she wouldn't do that to the man.

"I'd love to thank you. May I ask who it is you are waiting for?"

Turning her head to look back the way she had come, she could see nothing in the distance. Her emerald orbs surveyed the rest of the shore and was unable to detect anything either way. Perhaps the people they were waiting for just weren't in the immediate area yet. It was kind of sad that a girl who had no knowledge of their meet up would be the first one to join the group. One thing that bugged the young Sazanari female was why the man had offered to have her tag along. She hadn't met him before, and didn't remember ever dealing with the girl he was with either.

So, why?

She scoured him for clues, making sure to keep the smile on her face. Nothing. Seiko couldn't remember a thing. Which was definitely something seeing as how she had always been capable of remembering things on the drop of a hat. If she didn't know something, she just plain didn't know it.

((Reflex = 35 total; Grapple is successful))

While the two seemed to converse, a very feint chakra signature came to her. It was vast approaching, which could only have meant that someone was finally arriving from Taka's assignment. When the chakra source was near enough, a voice came, causing her to shift her focus from Taka and onto the girl. Taka seemed to take advantage of the situation; inching himself closer to her in order to attempt to steal her mask. Without skipping a beat, her mask lifted up, revealing her face for a moment. Her eyes were glaring at Taka... she was not amused.

When he was talking to the younger girl about having her join them, she caught his gaze, which spoke volumes. She didn't need to go very far or even partake for this mission. Instead, she turned away, leaving only her purple hair for the girl to see. It may have been different for other shinobi... and it wasn't like she meant anything by it... but Misa held firm to her teachings as an ANBU member.

Her reaction to Taka may not have been immediate; but it was severe. Her right hand lifted straight into the air while her left hand took hold of Taka's wrist, preventing it from removing her mask completely. Without saying a word, electricity coursed through her body, channeling it's way around her and her mask. ANBU were meant to keep their identites hidden when in uniform. It's how she was always taught, even Taka recited this to her on occasion. Now, here he was, trying to remove it without her concent. Perhaps he was just trying to play around, but Misa was a different person depending on her garb.

Once the younger girl had asked who they were waiting for, Misa pulled her mask back down over her face, turning her head back as if she had successfully protected her identity. As if to play along with him, Misa cooperated after she gave him quite the warning.

"I... forgot the basket. Perhaps I should go get it?" she offered, giving herself a way out in case Taka wanted her to change into civilian clothing. If it wasn't an ANBU mission and he wanted desperatly for her mask to be removed, she could easily go change... and be back in a matter of minutes.

User ImageHe slipped off the geta he was wearing and let the sand fill the cracks between his toes. He decided he had picked a good place to go. It was quiet, besides the sound of waves and several animals, and peaceful. He could find a hammock and sleep out here if it wasn't for the fact of scarier ceratures. The animals here were often filled with poison and venom, which he had read in the mountain of books back home. He didn't want to get caught with any of those attacking him or jumping up behind him. He stepped over to the water, placing his feet into the cool water. He wiggled his toes letting the wet sand go between them.

He continued walking down the shoreline, finding as relaxing as meditating. Maybe he would finish it here and go back to the academy later. He wanted to at least meet his new sensei. Upon walking he came across an older woman in an ANBU uniform, a young girl, and an older man. He wasn't sure if he wanted to get any closer for fear of the ANBU going after him. She was an ANBU though... she had a mark and he doubted it would be himself. Just what he needed... trouble...

He found some small rocks by his feet and picked them up. He tossed them towards the younger girl's feet, trying not to hit her in the leg. "Psst! he whispered waving his hand towards him, "Everything alright?" He wasn't hiding very good behind a rock, but where else was he supposed to hide? He probably couldn't do much to help if there was a problem, but maybe there was nothing wrong... he hoped.

Seiko blinked a few times as she looked down at the rock that had passed by her feet. Had someone thrown it? If so, they would need to be more careful. They nearly hit her, as well as the couple that surrounded her at the moment. It was just then that she heard a male voice calling. Lifting her emerald eyes to lay upon the form that was futilely hiding behind the rocks. Turning her head to the man and woman she stood with, she gave an awkward smile and lifted her pointer finger on a 'hang on just a moment' gesture.

Skipping over to the boy, she looked at him oddly for a moment, sure that she had never seen him before. He'd asked if everything was alright, but wasn't it obvious? There were two Shinobi of their village standing beside her. Everything couldn't have been safer.

"Um, yeah. Everything is just fine. Why are you hiding behind a rock?"

Her left eyebrow was raised in questioning as a small smile teased at her lips. She'd never known someone to attempt to hide, and then fail so horribly. Unless he wasn't hiding. Then that would be a very strange place to call her from.

User Image"Oh," he said giving a nervous chuckle, "Well it just seemed rather odd to have an ANBU standing there looking at the two of you... I was hiding to prevent them from seeing me." He knew he wasn't very good at being stealthy, in fact, he failed each time when practicing the kawarimi and the kakuremino. He was good with the substituting, just not the hiding.

From the look on her face he deduced that he looked rather foolish in his attempt to hide himself. He scratched the back of his neck, "I guess I'm not very good at this sort of thing yet. Maybe I should have stayed at the academy..." he said trailing off. He snapped back to reality and looked at the girl, "You don't look very familiar... who are you?" Not like he knew everyone in the village. In the Fubuki Compound he did, but the village was another story. He was surprised he actually didn't get lost going to the academy.

Thinking about it, Seiko nodded in agreement. She could suppose that it could possibly be construed something was wrong. So, he was attempting to hide. Giggling at his comment about being bad at hiding, she then understood. The male was just horrible at it. But it made her wonder what it was he was good at. The child's jade orbs overlooked the boy's appearance quickly, attempting to take in what all she could. Nothing of note right off the bat. Oh well.

"Oh, I'm supposed to be starting in the Academy today. Felt like being fashionably late. My name is Sazanari, Seiko. It's a pleasure to meet you. And yourself?"

Giving a slight curtsy to the boy as she had been instructed to do by her two years-deceased mother, Seiko held a warm smile on her lips. It had been quite a while since she had gotten to talk to someone of her own age.

User ImageHe gave a bow of his head, "Fubuki, Tenshi of the main sect. You're not the only late one... there seems to be quite a bit of them lately." He straightened his kimono and dusted it off. "You missed quite a bit, but nothing that can't be caught up in." He noticed the amount of green she was wearing, "So you like the color green. Maybe love the color... So what exactly are you doing with them, if you don't mind my asking." Not just any academy student walks around with an ANBU and a jonin as if going for a walk in the park. Was she someone special or royal that she needed that much protection. He started second guessing talking to the girl. If she was and they assumed he was a threat he would almost be killed.

Tilting her head curiously to the side, she repeated, "Main Sect...?" The young Sazanari female wasn't aware as to what this meant or even was. She did laugh a little nervously as he commented on how late everyone was other than herself. In her mind, she was thinking how happy she was she didn't bother going in early. It would have gotten her out of the house, but would have been a complete waste of time it seemed. Oh well. Good for her, she supposed. Seiko wasn't worried about what she had 'missed'. It wouldn't take her long to get everything down and done once she truly put her mind to it.

Her eyes narrowed as his words on her clothes came to her ears as hypocritical. So what if she liked green? Green was the color of nature. Better than white. The color of milk. Gross... A smile quickly filled her face as she spoke on the topic.

"Yes! I love green, it's such a nice color. I used to be into lime green but decided the world wasn't ready for such a flamboyant colored shirt. So, I'm stuck with this for now. It's darker, but it's still nice in my opinion. Don't you think so too?"

Her words were testing. How easily would he fall to someone's pressuring. How much of male hormone was running through his body at his age? For boys and girls, maturing took longer or shorter depending on genes and levels of stress.

"Oh, I was just walking and I came up on them. They just invited me to go eat with them and a few other people. No clue on the others though. Probably nobody I've met. My dad isn't really the 'go play with whatever kid you want' kind of person."

User Image"Yes, I belong in the main sect of my clan. There are three of them each of different nobility. The branch is the lowest, then comes the main sect, and then the head family." He listened to her get excited over a color. Yup... in love with green... And then she asked the question. "If you are asking whether the color is a good one, I will not disagree, however, I do not believe that green works on everyone, such as myself. Other than that, yes it is 'nice.' I prefer white, the color of snow and purity." He hoped he averted any 'creative discussions with his answer. One had to tread carefully when talking with the female gender.

"They just invited you for lunch? That is very weird..." He looked over at the two, noticing the Kiri mark on each of them, "They appear to be from the village, so I guess they are alright. Seems like an ordinary parent watching out for the well-being of their child... of course a ninja can't live in a life with no risk." He remembered how his mother used to be before he had explained to her that he wanted to be a shinobi. It was what he wanted and so he pursued it.

Sazanari was intrigued by this tier of familial hierarchy. She'd have to check out some more information about each of the branches of this tree of the male's family. It was as though the boy were the middle child in a family then. Not the one who got all the attention, but not the spoiled one that was always the point of jealousy by the other children. It was easy to tell that the boy was watching himself somehow, knowing of her verbal test without giving himself away.

The girl giggled, her voice the sound of chimes in the wind.

"You're silly. Snow isn't pure. Pretty, but not pure. Not on a molecular level. So many things combine into one. Pretty much nothing is truly 'pure.' And definitely not humans. I understand the beauty of nature, of green, please do not delude yourself into a falsehood of information with your white. White is nothing but the absence of everything. A truly sad color. Oops, sorry, heh, I like to talk a lot. Sometimes I just can't really help it."

Seiko stuck her tongue out nervously as she knocked herself in the head childishly. Only way to keep people from really taking her seriously was going to be acting like a child. Not that she wasn't, but more of a child with less mental expectations. Catching onto his next few comments, she nodded about how strange it was to be asked, but as long as there was food involved, she had no qualms with being invited. Turning her eyes to look at the couple she had parted from for the moment. Perhaps the tragically colored boy was correct in his words. The two didn't look related, but it was not her place to ask.

User Image"At least you do not stand there listening and not saying a word. That would be really awkward. Actually, white is is created through all the colors. Black is the absence of all... but I suppose that doesn't help my debate about being pure... It's a great color." He had always worn white, black, or a light blue. Perhaps it was because of his clan. Using ice jutsu must reflect on the clothes they wear and their attitude. "To each his own I suppose." He looked the girl up and down. She wasn't like the other students he had met. Keiko, the overly energized kid, and Gwyn, the mysterious pessimist. "I suppose you are much better than the other students I have met. Wouldn't your parents wonder why you weren't at the academy? I know my mother would chew me out..."

The girl's lips would curl into a smile as he thought to speak against her. Wrong on a artistic point of view, but it didn't matter. He still spoke. Which was more than most boys would do at his age. Well, 'their' age. As for debating? There was no debate. Waving off the thought about colors, Seiko turned her attention to his new topic. His eyes had roamed her body over before talking about some other students. None of which she had met yet. She would in time though.

"...My dad has no say in the matter. He has other things to attend to. And my aunt usually has her mind elsewhere. My whereabouts aren't really on the forefront of either of their minds."

Her words sounded sad, yet bitter at the same time. It was true her family had become cold towards each other since two years before. The death of children, husband and wife were too tragic for either of them to seriously get by. They still cared for each other, yes, but warm talks about things that were trivial, was no longer in their days. It was in the past, where Seiko would rather have it be. If this was how it was going to go on, then she would rather adapt to the now and forget the then. She kept a smile on her face as she spoke to the boy.

"Your mother sounds like a true mom. At least you know she pays enough attention to you to know you weren't there. Actually, aren't you supposed to be there now? Won't you be in trouble tonight?"
