Coming away from the stage and towards the crane game once more. Looking it over, Jericho went on to see if he could snag anything this time around. He tried to manipulate the crane with careful precision.
However, try as he might, he failed to suceeed in getting anything.

Calder was energized. There were games about fish here and he was wondering if there were going to be any water sports going on. Sadly, there wasn't, but the pretty lights and bright colors were enough to make him skip and prance about the grounds, checking out all there was. This festival wasn't like one he went to before, but he liked it! He certainly liked all the odd booths and games.
Which lead him to one where a few huffy students were leaving, saying things like 'cheap' and 'busted', not to mention a few other words he wouldn't repeat.
Trotting over, he noticed a big glass box with lots of pretty rocks. The writing was in some language he didn't know, and he was unsure of the instructions. This lead him just to push buttons and then grip a odd stick and turn it about. When he did, the crane inside moved and he jumped back when it did. Oh. It moved. That seemed fun. He didn't get the point, but he went over and moved it about before making a few observations. There was a grabby claw that moved and there were pretty rocks below.
How did he get the grabby part down? After lots of jerking and pulling the joystick about, he hit the right button and the crane went down and opened it's jaw. YAY!!!! It worked! Would he get a special rock?
Nope. Nothing. Calder whined and looked at the rocks. Maybe he'd come back later. Maybe.

Yroul decided to play once again. His curiosity was beginning to get the pest of him. He had to know what these rocks did.

Gracie was happy to find that the line to the crane game wasn't as long at this time as it sometimes was. She did a little dance to herself that involved the shuffling of her feet and ankles around for a whole one to two seconds. she pushed her long purple pontail over her shoulder. She flexed her arms and made a few faces at the crane machine to show it who was boss. Then, she powered up her bar to see if she'd win today.

She did a little dance to herself that involved the shuffling of her feet and ankles around for a whole one to two seconds. she pushed her long purple pontail over her shoulder. She flexed her arms and made a few faces at the crane machine to show it who was boss. Then, she powered up her bar to see if she'd win today.though yet again, she failed to successfully retrieve a stone from this thing. She shook her fist at it as she scurried off to go find something more exciting to do while she was here for the festival.

SHE COULDN'T HELP HERSELF. What was under those rocks? Taryn had seen someone reach down an take something from the little slot, but she hadn't been fast enough to run over and see what it was. Her curiosity was killing her, so she got back in line and tried again. Damn! The rock tilted but didn't lift and she huffed.
...damn it, was that phone ringing again?!

Once more, Vero thought. A second try perhaps might have luck smiling upon it.

Aksaja wandered up to the weird looking machine and glanced around for a moment. Was this game actually . . . free? It seemed like everything else around here cost seeds to play. Hmn.
Well, he would give this a try! Though . . . apparently, he failed at picking things up with the crane. Darn. Have to try again later!

Seeing as her attempts of getting at least a seed from the balloon popping didn't work, Mia decided she had to at least try the crane game before going home.
Or at least going home to see if maybe she could spend some silver to get a seed or two early (depending on how much she made today). Staring the crane game down, she stepped up and tried her best to grab the shiny seed she saw hidden between a few rocks.

Sebastian quietly stepped out of the hubbub of the Floresctival to take a moment to collect himself. He wasn't used to so many people at once- it was a tad overwhelming, but ... in a good way.
He realized he was leaning on a crane machine of sorts. Had that always been there? People were already lining up to play.
There must be something exciting about it, to make so many people play that is. Sebastian arched an eyebrow and got in line- perhaps it could be fun.
Once it was his turn, he began digging for one of the ... shiny rocks? That's what got everyone so hyped up? Well, he was playing- he might as well win.
He maneuvered the crane and press the button at the appropriate time. He picked one up! To himself, he said, "Yesss." That rock was his. Just as it was about to drop in the slot though, the crane machine got bumped by some hooligans and his prize fell back into the pile of gifts laying on the machine floor.
Sebastian's face twisted up in anger, and he walked away, more mad than before.

Jove had broken free of his brother's protective care long enough to spot the little crane game. It was shiny enough to draw the pup's attention, and he wiggled his way through the crowd to get a better look, peering into the tank with his head tilted out of curiosity. Thankfully he was tall enough to see into it. Hadn't he needed a box the last time he played a game with another student?
This one almost looked like a videogame, and so Jove grabbed the joystick and maneuvered it around without really knowing what he was doing. But at least he was having fun with it.

It was free. Everyone else was doing it.
Why were there rocks in there? Holly shrugged to herself. She grasped the controller and attempted to move it.
Apparently she had no idea how it worked and the claw kept running into the side until her time was up. Great.

So far he had even number of times he had won as to lost and Kazuka was planning on changing that now. He narrowed his eyes and figured out which of the prizes he was going to go for before he started to move it...
Too bad that one also slipped from the claw, bringing his total to 1W vs. 2L.

The crane game had as many wins as it did losses. Riley was about to change this, by either winning or losing this time around. Still, she enjoyed this game, because she felt there was some skill involved. That was how she won it the first time, after all.
She maneuvered the crane carefully, attempting to pick up a rather crooked rock. The look of intensity on her face could have melted the glass it peered through.

She may of been beaten last time, but Astra was going to give this another shop. As she walked up to the crane though, she spied Riley having a go at the device. She was looking very intense, so the fairy waited for her to finish playing before she began to play herself
. "Aww, I lost again" Astra watched as the crane failed to pick up anything. She always knew this game was rigged. Anyone in their right mind knew it was. With a huff she flew away hoping to find herself a better game to play.
