The owner is always watching, never not watching... Like a certain plushie.
"Maybe, but I wanted to!" She grinned, glad that her friend seemed happy; besides, that quest epony gave her the idea for this quest, which she had been enjoying as much as he had. When they came to a stop, she smiled at the pat on her hand before staring at the ground, now realizing that it suddenly seemed a long way down.
Bringing one of her legs over to the other side of the horse, she nodded at Mot to give him warning before pushing herself off the saddle and sort of towards the boil, trusting him to catch her. Or something.

Of course he'd catch her. He may be skinny, but he was still bigger than Lizzy. He caught the pink haired demon by her waist, bending a bit to brace the weight. He stepped back a bit and set her down. See? Mot wasn't that weak. He offered a smile before turning quickly to get his hat from the owner.
Hathathathat.
Once it was in his hands again, the glorious hat was shoved back onto the reaper's head, a satisfied grin spreading across his face.

Lizzy was blushing (again) when Mot caught her, and it took her a while to regain her 'land legs'. When she did, however, she quickly took the bag from the owner and wordlessly walked to the house to change. She emerged in her dress and heels a moment later, kind of understanding how Mot probably felt whenever he had to take his hat off.
... Kind of.
"That wasn't that bad," She commented, giggling at him before pushing up the brim of his hat just a little, "Ready to go back to school?"

Mot waited patiently for Lizzy to return. He had his hat again, so he didn't feel anxious. The horse riding had kept his usually panicked mind at ease.
Once she did return, he smiled at her, though it faltered slightly as she tippe the hat up. Funny how he could have gone all that time without it just to be shy about his face again right after. His eyes darted a bit before settling on Lizzy, smiling and shrugging. "Yep. Let's head out."

"Time to complete the quest~" She giggled, taking his arm and leading him out of the ranch after bidding the owner good bye; she was pretty sure this wouldn't be their last time here! She hadn't planned on returning after the quest, but now that she had a taste of horseback riding? She would be back.
Bones was already waiting outside, a grin on his lips as he dipped his head at them, "Had fun?"
"Yes!" Came Lizzy's immediate response as she giggled, climbing up the carriage and onto the seat, "It was... New. And exciting." Another giggle followed as she waited for Mot to join her.

Mot followed along, nodding to the driver before getting in the carriage after Lizzy. Of course he had fun! A cowboil at a ranch. What could go together better?
Mot sat himself down beside Lizzy, leaning back. It was nice to be sitting idle for a bit.

Mot would soon feel Lizzy's cool hand on his, uncurling his fingers gently so that his hand was laying flat. She then placed something hard and slightly cold to the touch on his palm, and then closed his fingers over the object, holding onto his hand.
"Here, you earned it," She smiled, tilting her head a little as she blushed, "For being the best male friend a ghoul can make in like... A few months." She giggled before letting his hand go.

Mot shivered a bit then looked down as Lizzy seemed to be occupying herself with his hand. Once the horn was in his grasp he brought it close so he could get a good look at it, then looking to Lizzy as she said some very kind things. He smiled softly, chuckling. He held onto the horn tighter, tilting his head and giving Lizzy a big grin. "I'm the best, huh?" He laughed again. "Thank you, Lizzy. You're my best female friend too, you know."

"Best after Mac, only because I met him first," She giggled, blushing at his words before leaning back against the seat to stare at the sky, a small smile on her lips, "I'm glad you got enrolled into Amity... I always seem to have fun with you~"
Turning her head to look at him, her smile widened, "Which reminds me! When break rolls around, get your suitcase packed and ready by then~ We'll be taking a train back, since... I've never sat on one before, unless you count the one we took during X'mas..." Which was something she did not want to talk about, "A couple of my friends will be joining us! It's going to be so lively!" She giggled at the thought.

"I can handle being second best." Mot said with a devil's grin, giving a thumbs up.
Mot's smile widened at her further words, seeming almost tickled. "I'm glad I enrolled too!" He grinned widely and laughed. It made him happy his friend always had fun with him.
Mot's epic grin softened as she started to reveal the plans to leave. He nodded. "Sounds good. I love trains. I took one to get to Amnity." There was just something so wild west about taking the train~.
"Oh? Who else?" He knew Charlie would be coming, but more people sounded like a great adventure!

"Really? Mother insisted on sending me here herself when I moved in... So I've never taken the train to school before," She nodded before grinning, pausing to think before answering, "Oh! Uh, some of them are not confirmed yet, but Petro, Tess and Tahki might be joining us. Charlie too, of course..."

"I bet you'll love it. It's kind of..." Mot tilted his head in thought while crossing his arms. "....Romantic? Is that how a ghoul would describe it?" Yeah, probably. It had that feel to it. "I love trains~."
Petro. Nice guy, kind of scary though.
Tess, she seemed nice? He'd barely gotten to talk to her.
...Tahki?
"Who's Tahki? Have I met them before?" He didn't recall.

"Romantic, really?" She raised an eyebrow before frowning, trying to recall her first train ride, during Christmas - started off rather crowded, then they got attacked by reigndeers, got served burnt food by gnomes before finally stopping... Via crashing into cold, cold snow.
"... I'll tell you my views on it after the ride," She finished rather lamely before chuckling nervously; hopefully, this train ride would not be like her last, "Tahki? Oh! She's a rather shy ghoul.... A gryphon! She was in Sex Ed class with us, although I don't think the two of you were introduced..."

"Aw, Lizzy. You aren't scared of a little train ride, are you?" Mot asked teasingly, not knowing of her misadventures to Christmas Town.
Mot thought back to sex ed, trying to weed out all of the unpleasantries of the actual lecture and more so the beginning of class. There was quite the gaggle of friends, but he did recall a ghoul he was unfamiliar with. Maybe that was her... He was usually fairly good at remembering ghouls. "Probably not. I'd remember." He hoped he would. Think of his reputation as a ladies man!

"I don't think 'scared' is the correct term for it," She giggled, shaking her head, "More like... Nervous. I'm sure it'll be fine though!" Since this is not going to be a school field trip.
"I bet!" She grinned before leaning back against her seat again, eyes closed, "I look forward to having everyone over..." her voice trailed away as she yawned, "... Maybe we could even go to the beach. I think we have a chalet there, just by the beach."
