"Initiative is good when striving to improve your own talents further..." Hatsuma commented coolly deciding that Oasis was right, that training would be better for the both of them as they were still green in terms of combat experience when regarding other shinobi. Though it wasn't necessary at this point in time to work at combating other shinobi no one is to say when the next war or conflict may arise between the nations after all her elder always spoke of calm times like these always being a prelude to dangerous and rather large conflicts whether it be within a country or even world wide it was a simple truth proven throughout the years. "I agree we should work on our skills further and analyze the other fighters from here, I think where our weaknesses may be they could be covered with team technique and tactics..." Hatsuma stated explaining her idea rather bluntly only glancing at the one armed Notwen who had re-entered the room only moments ago. "I think you have an idea for what training we should work on first so I'll let you lead the way as far as that goes." her attention quickly back to Oasis who seemed unnaturally determined about this training that they would be doing.
PostPosted: Thu Jul 28, 2011 12:32 am

Oasis nodded her head and then walked around the room and found an appropriate location. Almost like a cat she inspected the area then she turned a few times and finally took a seat in the location she deemed to be the right spot. She looked to Hatsuma and then nodded her head "Yea Oasis has a good idea of what we should do for training." She states as she stretched some and then waited for Hatsuma to sit down. "It's... a spiritual training technique that the elder taught me." she states as she took a deep breath. "Its supposed to be useful for most people, but exceptionally useful for those people who are related to the caravans. So, we are going to use it." she states as she leveled out her breathing. "Its neat cause we can connect and train together. Its apparently special for its ability to help you awaken sleeping abilities or something like that, so who knows what neat things we might learn." she states as she crossed her legs and pushed her finger-tips together. "Just, sync your breathing with mine, an if you don't know how to do the training, Oasis can actually take the lead with it and once you sync up Oasis will start the training." she adds with a big catlike grin on her face. The idea sounded odd, and a number of things would be off putting and then reassuring withing moments of each other however the last little bit would have been the most off putting really.

Notwen arrived back at the VIP room a few seconds later by landing on the sill of the broken window. Looking into and around the room he could see that the tenants had calmed down. The dark-skinned blonde spotted Hatsuma speaking to a red-haired girl with blue markings.
Isn't she the one who was fighting Rizu just now? thought Notwen as he lowered himself into the room. Musica should be appearing any time now. I guess i should try to relax before the second round starts. The crippled Uchiha now walked over to the table bearing the drinks. The white mantelpiece was now stained red in some places due to some of the punch splashing out of the bowl that contained it. Otherwise the area was not as damaged as Notwen thought it would have been. "This table sure is sturdy." commented the dark-skinned blonde as he ladled some of the ruby-red liquid into his clear glass cup. A fruity scent wafted up his nose momentarily, causing the one-armed Uchiha to hum. He raised the cup to his lips and tipped the contents into his mouth. The punch was as fruity as it smelled, and caused Notwen to smile. After two more cups the crippled Uchiha went to sit down by the chairs for twenty minutes, which was the time it took for the announcer to declare the start of the second round. When the announcement had been made, Notwen looked at the screens to look at his next match-up. Another Uchiha, Takera by name. Now that he knew where he was to go the dark-skinned blonde headed for the arena.

"I know of this method of training, It should be simple enough to do." Hatsuma commented before seating herself by Oasis. As she did so however a static rung out over the intercom before they could begin.

"Round 2 will begin when the contestants reach their respective arenas, the line up should appear on all billboards displaying the match line up momentarily. Good luck to you all shinobi." The voice echoed out and like clockwork the select billboards that were keeping track of the matches adjusted to showcase the new round's match-ups a fellow in section A getting a pass thanks to two no shows in the prior round. Hatsuma soon scoped out her match getting to her feet to examine the line up. it was against Rizu, the shinobi that Oasis had fought prior, it seemed she might get the chance to recover their country's pride against this opponent.

Hatsuma returned to Oasis once more, " It looks like the team training session will need to have a rain check, I'll be sure to take out this enemy for wind." she stated bluntly before giving a farewell wave to her comrade and was soon on her way towards her arena for the match.

Seita was excited and yet disappointed as he walked through the unknown country of lightning towards the area where the exams would be held. He was late and the streets weren’t very crowded. The area in front of the tournament area was messy. This had to be the place. This would be the first time Seita had ever actually watched the exams with his own eyes. Passing the various merchants and trinkets holders Seita walked though the Main gates of the arena quickly to find his seat.. It always pleases Seita to see other ninja at battle.

Moments of searching and Seita found his assigned seat and sat eagerly as the final rounds where beginning to start. His old Master asked Seita to personally view the exams this year. It was his hope the Seita would be inspired to take part in the exams next year round. Seita however did not see the point in proving himself to a Kage he rarely knew. Maybe his position on the subject would change but for now he stood his ground.

Since Seita was a child his Kage had changed twice. The unstability of a Kage really bothered Seita. I gotta enjoy myself for a change. he shook his head slightly to pay attention to his sorroundings.. The chakra varied around the room. Some small, others clouded the room with its color spectrum. Well.. he chuckled. this should be interesting

Hayato's burn subsided once the proctor stated that the match was over due to Drake forfeiting the match. His posture returned back to normal as the effects faded and was lead out of the arena. He wasn't needed much medical attention though, but wasn't going to refuse it since he knew he had a few electrical burns on his torso. There really wasn't much they could do once they got to the medical area. All they did was put some wraps around his chest with a few herbs to heal the burns and sooth the stinging. Before he left though, Hayato looked at his shirt and noticed that it was in worse shape then what he thought it would be. Large holes with a lot of charring around them. He grabbed his shirt and tossed it onto his shoulder as he exited and walked quickly to the VIP area. He knew that he'd at least get a few moments to rest before his fight in the second round was to begin. The walk in itself wasn't long, but it felt longer since he could feel every step and the poison wasn't helping anything ether. He'd tried to hide the poison's effect on him but knew that at least someone would notice it. He placed that thought into the back of his mind for the moment as he needed to see who exactly he was supposed to fight in a few moments. He looked at the door in which was the only way to get into the VIP area. He opened the door and looked around. It seemed that there was some cleaning going on and one person working on a few screens that would give everyone in here a view of the fights. He walked in and just behind him came another person who was to work on the screens. He was carrying a brand new screen so as to replace the old one. He didn't know what happened but didn't care at the moment. He quickly moved over to a digital bracket board and noticed something odd. His next opponent was... no one.... He didn't know how but there was no opponent for him in the second round. He grinned as he continued to look at the brackets and notice that this meant that he'd be in the finals. Just after that thought though, another thought ran through his mind. He would be fighting probably the strongest opponent he's ever fought yet in that fight. His teeth clenched as he looked over to the last bracket that was fighting in his division. Saikoro against Kyuzaku. He moved over to the windows and searched the battles that were going on. He didn't know who was who, but he planned to observe everyone as closely as possible as in order to make sure that he'd have at least an idea of what he would be facing in the final fight of this tournament.

Takera had found himself down below the room he originally watched the fights intently from. His earlier frustrations began to dissipate as he shook his head and rubbed his eyes. He'd kept his eyes on the fight with Sai intently and ignored his fatigue, but soon enough his attention had moved back to Drake. Takera leaned up in his medical bed recalling what he'd seen in his head over as confirmation that it really happened. It looked as though Drake had that match. What happened? He didn't even try to defend himself. Takera thought to himself as he shook his head again and turned his feet over to the edge letting them lean off the bed as he propped himself upright. He scratched his head while looking down at the floor. Drake was now in the med quarters as well with Takera, but Takera wasn't sure what to say or if there was anything that could be said. He ran his fingers through his hair and reached over to the med table picking up his mask and sliding it into his back pouch. He slipped his pouch onto him and made sure to equip himself with all his needs before he slid his bag under the medical bed and stood up from the bed now standing at the side of the bed. He looked down at the open palm of his hand and flexed his hands slowly. "It seems I've had more than enough time to recover." he whispered to himself. He slid both gloves on and put his body tight shirt on slowly as he tucked it in and fitted it properly. Afterwards he slowly hoisted the vest up from the table and swung it around his back slipping it on and fastening it thoroughly. Takera looked back at the bed one last time while flexing his back shoulders and rotating them. He stretched each part of his body thoroughly as to prepare for the fight and calmed his mind as he sorted his thoughts. After a moment he turned to the passing doctor who let him rest and get back to full strength. The doctor had been staring over a chart at the wall when he noticed Takera and turned to face him. "Does this mean you're going now? the doctor spoke with a hint of curiousity. Takera bowed lightly. "Yes, sir. I feel like I'm back at 100%. Thank you." Takera responded as the doctor chuckled. "Alright then. Do your best and try not to get yourself fataly injured. It's always nice to see a friendly face, but not when it's been broken." the doctor turned away to the chart once more. Takera was astonished by the comment and began to laugh heartily for a moment before he turned to face Drake's bed. He looked almost miserable, but somewhat proud. Takera walked up slowly. Takera assumed an odd almost playful position/stance of what seemed like aggitation. He scratched his head lightly while his eyes were closed and one eye opened lightly looking down at his expression. "Aw, man. You went and got yourself messed up again. How many times do I gotta fix you?" Takera stated in a playfully aggitated tone. "Hahaha. You look pretty sore, but something must've went your way. You seem almost proud." Takera commented before shrugging his shoulders and ripping the blankets off of Drake. "C'mere, studmuffin," Takera leaned down over Drake placing a knee on the bed and feeling his sides and arms forcibly while trying to mess with Drake's mind and creep him out. He touched a sensitive spot by the looks of Drake's reaction. "So.. wait.. you've got a headache? Really?" Takera commented in sarcasm and slight laughter as he put his palm to Drake's head and emitted the green glow steadily that he'd managed to emit when he originally healed Drake, but this time it was a bit different, less expansive and it seemed after a moment that Drake's complexion began to look a bit better. Takera held Drake pinned to the bed so he couldn't fight back, not that he could in his current condition, but still. After a while Drake looked a bit better than he had just a few minutes ago. Takera wasn't sure just how much he'd been able to do for Drake, but only time would tell.

Aya smiled a little as she made her way out of the staging area and into the main room, she looked around noticing the room had changed sense Seika had last been here, back before her match, she smiled and moved around the room as people began to place new funiture into the room, she then smiled brightly as she saw Hayato near-by, she gained a big smile as she moved around behind him, once in place she pounced on him, hugging him a little. "Hi Hayato, how was your match?". She asked as she stands behind him, her arms falling to the side as she moved around to stand next to him.

Oasis flopped over onto her back and sighed. She had waited so long for Hatsuma to respond only for her to need to go away again. She let out a slight sigh and shook her head some and then gathered herself up to sit with her legs crossed and a cross look on her face. She wanted to do some spiritual training with Hatsuma, and was pretty sure she wouldn't be able to do that style of training with any of the other individuals in this area, they weren't from the caravan and likely had no idea how to use the technique at all. She took another deep breath and popped to her feet. She noticed some more people were in the area, however they seemed to be focused on each other so she went and took a seat and looked at the screens wondering how Hatsuma's battle would go. It had been rather slow, and honestly uneventful for a bit.

Seita yawned for a bit.. He wasn’t at all bored of the tournament. he was tired from today’s training. He began daydreaming about the coming days when he himself would be apart of the exams. Leaning back in his chair, his eyes began to wonder around the room making sure he was still in a.. quote on quote PEACEFULL environment. The colors are all peaceful here.. Nothing to worry about for now. Seita had begun to perfect his Fuuma abilities. his physical and emotional since with chakra allowed him to see colors of chakra in its stages. A very useful technique when locating someone that cant be seen with the human eye. Chakra can be suppressed but the residue still lingers in the air. Depending on the level he would see the small hue of a color lingering in the shinobi's area or hideout. So far no one around him had a loud enough color for him to suspect anything.. Of course the guards in the area where all radiating a small reddish color, except for one guy that blinked yellow every once in a while.. Probably means he needs to use the restroom. Time to stop being nosey Seita shook his head and looked back at the monitor. Although he meant no harm. He still didn’t want to look suspicious.

While looking out the window down into the battle arena's, Hayato sort of tuned most of everything else out. He could only see two of the three fights since there was so much fog covering the last one. He could only hope that the fog would be removed soon or that those two competitors were not the ones he was going to be fighting the winner of. Out of no-where, he felt a tight-ish hug clench his arms to his side without any form of warning. He spun around only to see Aya standing there with a bright smile on her face. She moved beside him after asking how his match had gone. He thought about it for a moment and nodded slightly. "It went well. I was fighting our former team-mate from the second exam, Drake. He's really good with Genjutsu's...." Hayato paused as he remembered the Jutsu's used upon him. This made him mind cringe and a small shiver go down his spine. "Luckly though he made a few mistakes alone the way, and got very tired. He ended up forfeiting the match. Now, I wait for the finals as both competitors I might have been facing now were disqualified for being too late. How did yours go?" He asked at the end of his long statement. It was then that he felt his stomach turn against him. He placed his hand on his stomach and knelt a little bit feeling sick from the poison still lingering in his body. "God... what did they expose us to...." He stated semi quietly, while still kneeling on one knee as to try and settle his stomach.

"That is good to hear, and really, that must have been a little weird, but at least we won't have to fight one another, Seika had to forfeit my match after getting beat up by a meany named Tareka, but he did carry Seika like a princess after the match, so he wasn't all bad". Aya said in a slightly childish manner as she stood with Hayato, she had gain a small amount of blush to her face, she looked at him and smiled a little, then as he grabbed himself as the poison still affected him she looked at him a little worried, and then moved in a little to look at him. "You ok, ". While Aya had been asleep Seika had gotten healed, by the drunk guy she had meet before her match, and had no idea that they had been poisoned in the second stage, Aya was worried and moved in and knelled with him.

As Hayato knelt, he looked at the ground and started to breath just a little slower. This seemed to help settle his stomach slightly, but his whole body was now feeling a little colder. It seemed that the rest he had settled his heart rate and adrenaline finally faded. With everything back to normal, he was feeling the full effects of the poison and then some since it was now more spread out due to the increased hear rate earlier. He looked up to Aya and was a little intrigued that she didn't know what he was talking about. He just figured that she'd been cured while Mayu was in control and didn't even know that she was poisoned. "Due to not getting the antidote at the end of the second exam...... me and Drake have been suffering from the airborne poison that filled the chambers. Seems like Mayu must have healed your body...." Hayato then started a small coughing fit then cleared his throat. This poison would be a large pain in the last fight, but he still had time to try and fight it or maybe get Aya to help him remove it. Ether way, he needed to be 100% to show the world that leaf shinobi aren't anything to take lightly even though he was the last on the leader board since the beginning.
PostPosted: Thu Aug 11, 2011 2:23 am

Oasis couldn't help but overhear what those in the room were talking about, and as she sat there she saw how at least one of them seemed to be feeling ill, perhaps still suffering the poisons from before. She held a hand up for a moment "Uhm, I might be able to help you with that poison. Oasis is a medical shinobi." she states as she stood up and looked over at the leaf shinobi. She didn't know if he would listen, or take her up on it but she knew she needed to offer it at least.

As soon as his coughing fit was finished, Hayato heard a voice come from across the room. He looked over to see a red haired female with strange blue markings over her body. She was a little too far away to tell what village she was from, but at this moment two thoughts came across his mind. One was being that since she was here, hindering him with another poison wouldn't give her a personal gain since she wasn't in the semi-finals and no-one had finished their fights yet. Secondly, he was really needing to get rid of this poison so any offer he might as well try. He made himself stand up and face the female that offered her assistance. "Oasis was it? If you could, I'd be very grateful. Even an attempt would be nice." He smiled lightly then started to cough again. He didn't know if this was a good idea or not but knew that he at least needed to try.
