Dom heard a woman scream, and then suddenly, the car in front of Dom stopped moving all together and threw his concentration. "OH s**t!" Dom wrenched on the hand brake, holding on for dear life and hit the mental brakes as hard as he could. The cart screeched to a halt, stopping just before crashing into the empty cart in front of it. Dom slid off his cart onto the rails. "Never again..." he thought, swallowing the bile in his mouth as he struggled to his feet. "I hate roller coasters..."
Carefully, Dom stood up with his back against the wall, and listened, using his "sixth sense" to feel for any movement. In those moments of panic, Dom had lost track of everything and everyone down in the tunnels, meaning he had no idea if the person he ran into would be the woman from the bank, one of the robbers, or someone else entirely. Until he could be sure who was who, he was staying right where he was, carefully listening and hidden in the shadows.

A young strawberry blonde sat in an office as she had finished some sketches for the next season's line. Her name was Jada Errington, Fashion Designer and Recording Artist. Things were just about finished up as she signed a few legal papers and looked at her desk. Everything was in an arranged mess. She checked her phone and still no calls.
She decided that she was finished with her work for the day and shut her book close and stood up taking her phone and walking towards a window. She looked through her contacts as she found Nora's contact. She was indeed a good friend and company she liked to keep around. Jada dialed her number and waited for her to pick up.
"Um hey Nora, it's me Jada, I'm starved and awfully bored....um...what are we doing today? Please tell me that you are free right now, because I need to get out of this office" she said as she walked around the office in six inch heels. Her appearance in the office was very business like, and when she was doing interviews or concerts really laid back.

Nora had gone back to working on her project, she couldn't see anything else from the bank's cameras and hacking into the public transportation's systems was rather boring. After soldering a few chips into place, she heard her phone ring again. "So many calls in the same day, I'm popular huh?" She asked the room at large, picking up the phone and seeing who it was, her music auto leveling so she could hear who was on the other line. It was her friend in the fashion business, Jada, calling because she was bored. "Yeah Jada, I'm free. Nothing interesting planned huh? Well, I suggest we avoid downtown, there's a robbery in progress at the bank... I know a decent bar in Uptown, want me to pick you up? Or did you have something else in mind?" Nora was already heading to her car, as the lab switched into automatic mode, working on the projects Nora didn't need to work on manually while she was gone. Shutting the door to her car, she tapped in her 12 digit security code so she could exit the lab and the elevator began to go up. When the garage opened the car immediately drove out without Nora's hand on the wheel. The garage door shut and locked, and Nora's lab was secure; not even a bunker buster could hit Nora's lab if it was dropped right on top of it. The car headed along the street, headed for Uptown, where Jada's office was.

"A robbery, I guess I was so into my work, I've been kind of blocking things out" she said with a slight sigh. "Well yea I'm down for going to a bar, hopefully we can get there in time for happy hour" she stated. While she was on the phone she walking towards the elevator as she waited. When the elevator opened she stepped on and rode to the first floor. Exiting the elevator she spoke back to Nora. "Where are the men?!?!?" she asked to her friend in a playfully desperate voice. "What's the name of the bar again?" she asked her as she looked around.

Nora smiled as the car headed for Jada's office, with her music playing through the car's radio now. Hearing her friend over the phone, she replied, "I believe it's called... Fillmore's. And as for the men, I wish I knew, all the good ones are either taken or have no interest in someone with half her body extra crispy. The women are the same way. Sigh. And here's a question for you; how many men would you expect to work as fashion designers? Not too many that would be interested in you or me that's for sure." Nora's car took a few shortcuts to avoid traffic and made it to uptown fairly quickly, going as quick as the traffic would allow; the police were tied up at the bank for the moment, so she could speed all she wanted and not get caught. Pulling up outside Jada's office building, the car quickly came to a stop and the passenger door opened. "Well, come on, get in!" When Jada got in the car headed for the bar, which was only a few blocks away, but for Jada's sake, it didn't go at mach three to get there, and Nora kept her hands on the wheel to at least make it seem like she was actually driving.

Jada looked at Nora and smiled as she walked towards the car and shut the door. She pondered everything that the young woman had said and chuckled a little. Jada didn't mind Nora's scars, she still saw her as a person. Checking the overview mirror she fixed her lip gloss and pulled stray lashes. As they pulled off Jada kept to herself as she listened to Nora's music they definitely had different taste in music and considering that Jada herself was a pop artist kind of made up her musical preference. She then sat back in her seat and looked out into the street as they passed people uptown.

Nora continued driving until they stopped at a red light for a moment and Nora's phone rang; she pressed a button and said to Jada, "Hang on, I have to take this. Hello? Nora Kain speaking." A voice came over the phone, it was Nora's AI Exadi, but Jada didn't know that so she had to act like she was calling Nora. "Miss Kain, this is Anne from the development labs. Project 14K8 has been finished and is ready for testing." Nora smiled lightly and replied, "Thank you Anne, I'll be around to pick it up later. File it in with the other prototypes that need testing. And start working immediately with the others on project HK47." With that, Nora hung up the phone and stopped the car, right in front of the bar they were headed to. Shutting the car off, Nora smiled at Jada and said, "We're here. Let's go get drunk!" Nora raised her hands in a slightly cheery mood and got out of the car. Despite already getting drunk a few hours earlier, she was barely showing it. She headed around the car, opened the door for Jada and led her friend into the bar. It was a nice bar, it was, after all in the middle of the most expensive district in the city. and there were few people there considering it was the middle of the day. Nora sat down at the bar and ordered a pint of beer, spinning around on the stool for a moment before facing front again.

Jada smiled and looked at Nora. "Thank you so much" she replied as she stepped out of the car. The bar was very upscale and it was up to Jada's liking. She took a seat next to her friend as she looked at the drink menu. "I'll take a sex on the beach" she said with a smile. "Oh yes and can I have some mozarella sticks as well?" she asked in courteous voice. She looked at Nora and sighed. "So besides working, what else has been going on with you Nora, it seems that I rarely talk to you these days" she said to her as she took her drink and took a sip of it.

Nora quickly started on her beer when the bartender handed it to her, chuckling at Jada's choice of drink. "I'd like some of that too, but we can't all get what we want." She smiled and spun around on the stool once again, taking a large sip from her glass and answering Jada as she stopped spinning, "Other than work? Well since the last time we talked I've been to about seven raves, had my drink spiked twice, beat the crap out of the two goons that did it, bought some new clothes, had my car repainted, robbed a bank and killed some people." Nora was speaking the truth on these last two things, but she was speaking so straight faced that it sounded like she was joking. She smiled at her friend and remembered something suddenly, reaching into her pocket and pulling out a small device, saying, "I forgot, I finished that modeler you wanted me to make. Here, it creates 3D images using real world models plugged into its databanks. In non geek speak, it creates 3D models that you can move around and change based on a picture of a design that you give it. It turns your 2D concept art for clothing into actual 3D models that you can edit easily. Just plug it into your computer and it will do the rest. It doesn't work with a Mac though, their software is for s**t." Nora took another large sip of her beer after handing the small disc shaped device to Jada, setting the glass on the bar and asking, "So other than working on new designs and new songs, what have you been up to Jada?"

Tsuneo Date sat in a dark corner of Fillmore's with a drink in hand. He was currently wearing a black sport coat with a black button down shirt underneath. Despite his normally formal appearance he was not wearing a tie today. The outfit was completed by a pair of suit pants and dress shoes. He was currently scoping the place to see if it would be a good investment. No matter what he was going to buy the building but the question was really whether or not it was fiscally sound to keep the place open or if he should make it into something else. While he was sitting there just observing things he noticed two women in particular. More specifically the one with the burn scars caught his attention. Her behavior was intriguing to him since she acted as if she was strong. He like that sense of strength which some people possessed. Tsuneo pulled out his phone after he felt it buzz. The paper work has been signed master Date, you are now the owner of the building and all subsequent aspects of it. Tsuneo snapped his fingers and a waiter came over to his table. "The building is under new management, as a little celebration I want you to get those two women over there any drinks that they want." he said with a nod.
"I'm sorry sir but I'll have to check with my manager.." the waiter started to say.
"Question me again and you'll be fired by tomorrow morning." Tsuneo replied. With a slight look of despair the waiter rushed off to ask Nora and Jada what they'd like to drink.

Nora had just finished her drink, and was about to order another one when a waiter came over and asked what both she and Jada wanted to drink before she could even signal to the bartender. "Well that's opportune timing isn't it?" "No Ma'am, it's just that the man over there said to get you whatever drinks you wanted. Apparently he just bought the place." the waiter spoke quietly and pointed to Date. Nora smirked and replied, "Oh really? Well then... I'll have a bottle of your finest whiskey. Jada, order your drink and let's go see what this man wants shall we?" Nora stood up from her stool and headed over to Tsuneo's table, sitting across from him she said, "Hello there. I've seen you in the papers before haven't I? You're the head of that gigantic mega-corporation aren't you? Mister Tsuneo Date. Didn't think I'd run into someone like you in this place. I thought you favored VIP sections in VIP restaurants over VIP nightclubs." Nora smiled as the waiter brought over the bottle of whiskey she ordered along with a shot glass. Nora quickly poured herself a glass and downed it just as quickly, still smiling lightly at the obscenely rich man across from her for a few moments, before asking, "So what does a man like you want with someone like me or my friend?"

Rissa held the large gun in both her hands as she now took a moment to see where they had actually landed, "no need Charlie, i think i know where they went." she said nodding to the subway railings before pulling out her phone and sighing, things were getting more and more complicated as time went on, damn criminals, why did they have to be so smart, "hello, Trip? yeah, you can call of the search on ground level, some idiot managed to build the bank on top of a subway line," she sighed and glanced back at charlie after she had finished cuffing their captive, "please stand by, we are going to try and find out where they might be headed, just try and watch the subway exits to the south, south east." she said before hanging up and looking to the Police woman, "did we get anything from him?" she asked looking to the robber and finding him tight lipped, " you guys sure do have interesting masks, now, where was this supposed rendezvous point?" she asked as she picked up his mask and examined it. The thief simply glared at her "oh come now you were going to be left behind anyway, it is either this or I'm sure Officer Charlie has ways of gaining this information from you, please the more you delay the further your so called friends get with your share of the money" she said watching as the man rethought his options, "quickly please, we are running out of time" she added nodding to Charlie purely to rush the man, who looked to charlie then to Rissa and kept his mouth shut.

Charlie had been quietly studying the robber while Rissa spoke, shifting her baton from one hand to the other while she thought. At a nod from Rissa, Charlie stepped forward and waited until the robber made eye contact. "You know, Rissa...On second thought, I don't think we need him. I think he'd be more likely to lead us on a wild goose chase if he thought it meant we'd still let him off easy if he 'tried'." Charlie air quoted. She turned her back on the robber, and pointed to the left. "The car is facing that way. It's probably our best bet. C'mon, we'll start heading that way. They can't be too far ahead."
Charlie starting walking in the direction she indicated, swapping her baton in favour of the her flashlight. Charlie clicked it on and led the way. "But...but what about me?! You can't just leave me here!" The robber called out, slightly panicked as he was still handcuffed to some pipes. Charlie didn't stop walking, but called over her shoulder "I don't know what you're in such a hurry for. When we find your partners, we'll come back and you'll be someone's prison girlfriend. That is...if the rats don't get you first." Charlie smirked at Rissa as they kept walking, the sounds of the robber scuffling to stand up and have as little of himself on the floor as possible fading into the distance behind them.
"Sorry, I know that was probably cruel, but it won't be nearly as cruel as prison." The two women lapsed into silence for a while as they walked, moving slowly and carefully to make as little noise as possible. After a few minutes, Charlie whispered "Do you have an idea of how many will be on this cart? I'm thinking no more than three...we'll need a plan of action. That is, if we get lucky and find them."

Amara took the gift that Nora had given her and smiled. "Thanks you always come through for me Nora" she said with a smile. She then began to speak on her latest work. "Well I've just organized a tour for the U.S and there are talks about going international as well" she told her friend. Before she knew it, she was done with her drink. When she was about to order another drink, the waitor came to them and asked them what they wanted. She sat back and heard what Nora had to say. "Well....I like...hmm...how about a crown and coke" she asked.
Once she received her drink, she thanked the man and walked over towards Nora. She was already talking the man's ears off so she stayed to the back and didn't say anything to him. She simply waved, took a sip of her drink and thanked him politely.

Rissa followed Charlie to the rails without a second thought about the man that they had left behind, "when on a case like this, some things have to be taken into consideration, he wont be there for long, I'm sure your team mates will take him up when they come down" she said with a slight smile, she did not object to the treatment at all, it was some what of a relief to leave people helpless every once in a while. only as a cop could this be legal she thought as she shook her head in silence. hands free she shook her head again in response to Charlie's question, "they are down by five, they had 12 at the bank, and my guess is that there were probably three more down here to help them escape, so we are looking at around 9 or 10 at most," she said beginning to walk faster since there was no point in walking slow or quietly, she really just wanted to reach a station or regular subway rail so she might be able to track their movements, "come on, they were moving to fast to walk after" she said thinking she could hear something up ahead, a regular subway rail? she wondered suddenly noticing a charge in the air about them.
