It seemed like forever passed as Gage slightly relaxed when Stella seemed to be... Then he felt the tension snap back into her like a guitar rift. With a frown he continued trying to calm her as she continued to panic... What the hell can I do to calm her down, she's terrified of heights, and we're stuck on a freakin Ferris Wheel that isn't moving... And of course, in the true sense of Murphy's Law, we're at the top.... Frowning to himself, he racked his brain for ideas to calm her down, thing after thing being dismissed immediately as they came to mind... Most of them would probably end up scaring her to death more than they'd calm her down...
Finally, with a soft growl, barely audible, Gage turned her to look at him, and with one swift movement, he placed his hand at the back of her neck and pulled her to him, kissing her lightly....

The wind whipped through her hair as Gage pressed his lips to hers. The whole world seemed to come to a screeching halt and instantly her heartbeat slowed and her dizziness went away. She closed her eyes, for a moment feeling tranquil and relaxed. After a few seconds she slowly pulled away, her heart starting to race again. She couldn't believe what had just happened and what she had just done. If her sister were to ever find out... She shook the thought from her mind and looked at Gage with wide eyes. "Gage..?" Her lips quivered as she said his name, it was felt natural to be sitting on his lap and kissing him. She wanted to kiss him more and more but she knew if she did it would only make matters worse.

Gage opened his eyes as she pulled away and hearing her say his name like that sent shocks through his system as he brushed her hair back out of her face. He took a shaky breath, biting down on his bottom lip. "Probably shouldn't have done that... Only uh..." Gage stopped, frowning as he tried to find the right words "Only made things worse... And only made me want to do it more..." He ran his hands through his hair, still looking at Stella, a faint smirk hinting at the corners of his mouth

Stella stared at him, her mouth open like she was going to say something but no words came out. She was completely speechless and she had no idea what to do. Her heartbeat slowed again and she took a deep breath. Her body wanted more, she wanted to kiss him and hug him and do everything her sister got to do. But the little voice in her head scolded her and told her no like she was a new puppy learning not to chew shoes. She finally found four words to say to him. "I really..like you.." She chewed her lip and looked away.

Gage tipped Stella's chin with one finger, so she'd look at him again. "Stell, you're unlike anyone I've ever known... And I'm seriously thinking that I've got the wrong sister... Especially if my suspicions are true, and Steph is cheating on me..." he shook his head and looked at Stella again, his head cocked to one side as he looked her over, one thumb stroking one of her cheeks. "If I could, I think I'd stay right here, in this damned boat, on a broken Ferris Wheel... With you curled up on my lap..." he jumped slightly as the ride began to move and looked back up at Stella, kissing her once more, with a little more emotion, before he set her back on the seat, keeping her hand in his for security.
Within moments, they were disembarking, Gage, Stella, and the Giant Blue Bear... He lead her away from the ride, looking down at her "Cotton Candy before we end the night?"

Stella didn't know what to say anymore. Gage had suspicions that Steph was cheating he was even starting to think he had the wrong sister. She felt terrible and happy all at the same time. She didn't want to hurt her sister but she would steal Gage from anyone in a heartbeat. She squeezed his hand for comfort as they got off the giant Ferris Wheel. "As long as we get the blue one." She smiled, she was obsessed with the color blue, which is why most of the stuff she had was blue. One day and I can almost steal my sisters boy.. Not good.

Gage chuckled softly and one could almost see the tension seep out of his body as he ordered the cotton candy, handing one of the piled cones to her as he picked at his own. He took her hand as they walked towards the parking lot, her with her cotton candy and color matched teddy bear, him with his cotton candy, and the mini bears he'd won....
Too soon, they were pulling up to Stella's home, Steph's car was nowhere in sight still, it's spot in the driveway bare.... He turned to Stell as he parked the car at the curb, unbuckling himself. "I just want to make one thing clear... Steph and I... Not gonna stick... But I'm not doing this because of you... You're just someone who makes me really talk about what she's doing... I've seen the texts on her phone, watched her delete everything incriminating when she thinks I'm not looking. Guaranteed, there's texts from her friends that she's "at the movies with" on her phone from tonight, asking how things went with Troy.... But I don't want you as rebound... I want you, I think that much was clear from tonight... I just don't want you to feel used." Gage leaned over, kissing her cheek softly "Thank you for tonight Stell."

Stella looked at Gage as his spoke, and she felt terrible. It was crazy that her sister would do that to a guy like him. Especially with a guy like Troy. Although she was ecstatic that she wouldn't be the cause of a possibly nasty break up. Her cheeks flushed a pale red when he kissed her cheek, making her giggle a bit. "No no.. Thank you." She smiled and opened the car door and hopped out. "You can text me if you need.. you have my number.." She smiled one last time before closing the door and walking up the driveway. She didn't want him to walk her up, she really wanted him to go home.. In case Steph came back.

Gage took off down the street, Stella's smile still in his mind as she'd closed the door. With a soft sigh, he relaxed into his seat... The drive wasn't long, and soon enough, he was home.... He ignored the texts and calls from Steph as he laid on his bed, staring at Stella's phone number in his phone. He finally gave up and text Steph back....
How was your night with Troy this week????
He didn't bother waiting on a reply, he sent a text to Stell. Pretty much told Steph I know about Troy, don't know her reaction yet... You know, I need a pic for your caller id Stell.... Off to bed, talk more tomorrow. Gage sent the message, and turned off his phone, plugging it in and flipping off the lights... He'd worry about Stephanie's response in the morning... For now, it had been one hell of a day, and he seriously needed sleep.... his last thought, was the look on Stella's face when she'd pulled away... That perfectly dreamy expression... And the way she'd said his name....

Stella sat the bear on her bed, stripping to take a hot shower. When she got out she wrapped a towel around herself and walked into her room, checking her phone. Gage? She opened the test and read it. Pretty much told Steph I know about Troy, don't know her reaction yet... You know, I need a pic for your caller id Stell.... Off to bed, talk more tomorrow She stared at the text before replying. Ill let you know her reaction in the morning... Here She attacted the image to the text and turned her phone off, putting her hair in two braids and changing into pajamas. She turned off the lights and crawled into bed, snuggling the giant teddy bear. She drifted into a deep sleep, a smile etched on her lips.

It seemed way too soon when Gage woke up the next day, looking at his phone, he found it to be after 10, but still, it seemed far too early to be awake when he wasn't looking at a clock... He sat up slowly, his brain still not functioning enough to make him remember the events of the night before... By the time he was halfway through showering, everything clicked into place, and he froze in the middle of washing his hair, one eyebrow arched...
He couldn't help but wonder what had aspired this morning when Stella and Stephanie had gotten up while he got dressed. He finished dressing and grabbed his phone, no missed texts, meaning Steph had ignored his message last night, or at least wanted to appear like she had. He sent Stell another text after setting up her caller id picture on his phone Morning gorgeous, how'd she take the news this morning...? Gage hopped around his room, arguing with clothes until he was dressed, and then left his small apartment. He slipped into his car and turned it on, relaxing back in his seat while he waited for the vehicle to warm up. He had no honest idea what he was going to do today, other than the fact that the plan had better include Stell at some point... He was done with Steph, and telling her he knew about Troy, meant he'd made it official.... He checked in with his boss, making sure he wasn't needed before he took off away from the apartment, still waiting on Stella's text

Stella had a rough night, when her sister had gotten home she heard not one but two set of feet stumbling up the stairs. Thankfully their parents weren't home or whoever the other person was would have been sent home. When things finally quieted down she fell into a light sleep, waking at every noise she heard. It was a grueling night but when the sun finally peaked over the horizon every muscle in Stell's body loosened and she was out cold. At around 10:30 her phone vibrated, causing her to spaz out and fall out of bed with a thud. Whoever texted me is dead meat... She crawled back onto her bed with teddy and looked at the text.Morning gorgeous, how'd she take the news this morning...? She smiled and bit her lip again. I guess I can spare him. She jumped out of bed and put on her slippers and walked down the hall to her sisters room, tapping her knuckles against the white wooden door. "GO AWAY!!!!!!" Stella took that as a come in and opened the door.
Stephanie lay on her bed, tissues littered her once clean room and her mascara was running down her cheeks. Her eyes were red and puffy and her lower lip quivered with a new wave of tears. Stell sat on the edge of her bed and pulled Steph onto her lap, hugging her close. As much as she wanted to feel sorry for her sister she couldn't help but stare into space and think about Gage. "He knows about Troy Stell.. Gage and I are over.. I... I dont know what I'm going to do!" She ran her fingers through her sisters hair and looked down at her crumpled body. "I'll tell you what your going to do.. Your going to clean up the tissues.. Take a hot shower.. And your going to go and see Troy. You obviously love this kid enough to cheat on Gage. Forget about him... You have Troy." SCORE!!!
Stephanie protested a bit but finally crawled out of her bed and started to do what Stella had told her. Stell walked to her room and picked up her iPhone, naturally in a blue case. She unlocked it and looked at the text and chewed her lip. I found her crumpled up in her room, tissues everywhere. Puffy red eyes. Mascara running and her lip quivering. Don't feel bad for her.. I have a feeling Troy was over last night. Stell sat her phone down and picked out an outfit for the day before taking yet another shower. When she got out she wrapped herself in a towel and ran a brush through her hair before pulling on her clothes. She walked over to her vanity and did her makeup, not to extravagant but not toned down. Grabbing her phone she headed once more into the bathroom to blow dry her hair and check for any new message from Gage.

Gage arched one eyebrow as he read the text, and while his stomach sank slightly at the thought that Troy had been over, it rebounded ever so quickly with the thought that he might get to see Stell. He bit his bottom lip, thinking for a moment before he text her back Would you like to do something today Stunna? I don't have anything going on, sadly....

Steph sat on her bed, petting the giant teddy because it was so soft. "I am going to name you.. Gage Jr." She smiled and unlocked her phone to read the text from Gage. When and where? By the way I named the teddy Gage Jr. She sent the text and carried Jr. to her bay window and sat down. Staring down at the clear waters of their pool. Stella was allergic to chlorine so they had a salt water pool instead.
