 SWINGING DOWN THIS SCYTHE.....
Akumu calms down from his mad fit as Yuki turns back into her human form.
"Well that was strange. What came over me back there? I was taking it all so calmly and then that guy started talking about Luna... then I'm not sure what happened! All I can see is that two of the men were killed by him! And very brutally from the looks of it! The third is being interrogated by Andy and he is missing his legs! What the hell happened? All I know is bits and pieces of what just happened. That's why I know that I did this. It felt like insanity just corrupted my soul for a bit there. I will need to study this."
Akumu thinks to himself as he watches the others.
He turns to Yuki.
"Yuki. Go ahead and eat those other two souls. I will watch Mr. Mafia man over here with Andy."
He calls to her as he turns back to where Andy was asking the man a question.
The man's legs were on fire now in pain. He wanted to scream, but he couldn't. He was still pretty terrified of these people. That one kid just slaughtered the others. And he did it with such a wicked face! Like he was possessed with some mad desire to kill all of them!
Now he is missing his legs and this woman was asking him a question. Mitchell's? That sounded familiar.
Wait, now he remembers that name. This could be his bargaining tool.
"Like I would answer your questions! I'm missing my legs so I don't think there is much you can do! Unless you can do something to keep me alive, then you can forget it! If my legs were okay then maybe I could try and see if I can remember anything."
He says grinning stupidly at the woman. He has a suspicion that she is a witch. Strange that she was working with these other two. But nonetheless, maybe she can heal him. Then he can leave and get his friends to come kill these weirdos. Let's see how scythe-kid likes a body full of bullets once he gets out of here.
He would still need watch himself though.

"Okay then." she said smiling. She grabs the two souls,"Wow two souls in a day hehe." she said as she eats the souls. She walks to Akumu, Andy, and the legless guy as she finish eating the two souls. Yuki stands behind Akumu and watches as they talk to him.

"Have you seen or heard of the Mitchells?" she asks again, a growl still present in her voice.
She brings up her other hand, matter appearing in her palm as she whispers her incantation. "Answer and you'll live. I can reform your legs. Don't underestimate my abilities."

SWINGING DOWN THIS SCYTHE.....
Akumu watches as Andy talks to the wonded man.
"He isn't going to talk until you actually fix him. I can see his soul wavelenth. He isn't going to budge, until he is fixed. He does have information on them, but he would bleed to death first unless you heal him."
Akumu says as his voice returns to its normal calm, flat tone.
He watches the man carefully. He can also see that the man is planning something under-handed as well, but he can't tell what. Plus they need him for the information, so Andy should go ahead and heal him.
He looks back to see that Yuki had eaten the two other souls and is now behind him. At least they have two souls down.
The man smirks at them wickedly, knowing that the witch has to help him if she hopes to get anything from him. The other brat just pointed it out.
"That's right! So go ahead and fix me and I will tell you what I know. Well hurry up! I'm only bleeding to death."
He shouts simply to them. He tries to move some and is rewarded with a jolt of pain. He can't wait for this witch to fix his damn legs already.
Then he will get of here and get some of his buddies to ice these punks.

"Very well then," she replies, placing her hands over his leg. "Nature in all, all in one," she murmers the incantation to herself.
Andy feels power and magic surge through her veins. Bones begin to grow where the man use to have his legs, muscle then forming around certain areas of it. 'I wonder why mom never had these abilities. I wonder even why I am a witch. It's rare for a meister and witch to mate, and with that there was more of a chance of the offspring not acquiring such powers. Just like how Zac... Not now, Andromeda.'
She glances back down, seeing the skin cover the man's toes to the tip. "So, have you heard of Alastar and Raven Mitchell?" she asks again with a smile.

SWINGING DOWN THIS SCYTHE.....
Akumu watches unmovingly as Andy fixes the man. This regeneration magic is strange. How does she go against the "Flow of Magic"? It's not normal for sure. Was her witch mother the same? Or was she a destruction witch? If so how did she end up with a meister? This woman was strange, and dangerous.
As much as it may pain him, this witch may be Yuki's last soul she has to collect. Akumu will watch for now while they collect, but once all 99 souls have been collected. Then this witch may make the needed witch soul they have to have for Yuki to become a Death Scythe.
The man shakes his legs once the witch fixes them. Perfect.
He stands up and glares at them.
"I know. The Mitchell's? Yeah, they were a job we had a while back. We were to kidnap them and take them to a drop-off point in the woods. We did so and got paid. That was it. The order came from our boss, but he got it from someone else. We were just the muscle. It wasn't hard. We just gassed the house and they passed out. Then we carried them to the point and left them there. That's all I know. So if you don't mind, I will be going now."
He tells them as he starts walking away. As he does he grins to himself wickedly. He was going to get some pals now to kill these brats! He could see their faces now.
Akumu watches silently as the man tells them what he knows and then starts walking away.
I guess he forgot that his soul was still forfeit. Akumu holds his hand out for Yuki to transform.
He wasn't going to walk away with some words.

Yuki walks next to Akumu and hears what a man has to say. While hearing what he has to say, she stares at him while he's walking away. While watching him walking away, she sees Akumu's hand and holds his hand and transform. She looks at Akumu,"Aren't done with him?" she asked Akumu.

SWINGING DOWN THIS SCYTHE.....
Akumu doesn't reply as Yuki transforms. This was going to be a quick kill. No need in talking. Akumu had already cut the man's legs off. Even if Andy healed them, it still must have been painful. So he will end this man's existence swiftly.
Akumu grips Yuki's handle two-handed and dashes toward the man, who was about 30 yards away. He was as good as dead.
The man continued walking away at first. He then heard the scythe-girl say something about him.
They were going to try something! He knew it.
He heard her transform and the other bratty kid dash toward him.
Time for his secret weapon.
The man reaches into his coat pocket and pulls out a snub-nose, .38 caliber revolver. He turns around with a grin and quickly aims at Akumu.
He laughs softly and pulls the trigger.
Akumu notices the man turning around and brandishing a gun, but he had too much momentum to effectively dodge. He tried to juke left, but he heard the gunshot.
He felt an intense pull near his right shoulder. He stumbled and fell over onto his knees.
He looks over at his shoulder and sees blood running from a wound near the bottom of his collar. He feels his legs going weaker, and his breath getting irregular. He wasn't breathing properly! The bullet might have punctured his lung!
"Andy, stay back! We'll have to handle this! It's our fight. Yuki! We haven't trained any yet, but we need to do Soul Resonance. You think you can do it?"
He calls out while panting. Every breath paining him.
He gently stands back up as the man grins and puts his gun in a holster.
"I got ya beat, kid! Give up, and the next goes through your head! Try anything and I might miss! That's just going to make it more painful! It was a mistake to be too prideful to not get help from your little witch over there. Even if you somehow win, that bullet probably hit a lung. You'll die in no time!"
He says wickedly to them. He reaches around his back and pulls out a stockless, short-barreled tommy gun he had been hiding as well.
He grins malevolently.

Yuki also notice that the man turn around and holds a gun out. She also notices that the gun was aimed at Akumu. "Akumu you're hurt!" she said to him then looks at the man. She sees him pulling out another gun,"I don't know if I can do Soul Resonance without training, Akumu. It's gonna be our first time using it and I don't know if I'm gonna do it right." she told him.

Andy gasped in shock. "Akumu!"
She knew it wasn't her fight, but to stand there and watch her newly acquainted friend suffer and probably die? No! 'I really hope that Soul Resonance. Especially without the training and practice, this is going to be very interesting. But it wouldn't go haywire...would it?'
Andy forces herself -and her magic- to control her urges to help Akumu and Yuki. This whole event was going to be nervewrecking.

Akumu tries to grin, but winces some in pain.
"Damn! He really got me good! If I don't get that fixed soon I may die. I refuse though to let any magic, even if it's to save my life, touch me. I hope Yuki can perform Soul Resonance. My life may depend on it."
Akumu thinks to himself as he holds Yuki two-handed again, and stands back up straight.
He winces again as he does so.
"Yuki, I have faith in you. I know we can do it. It may not be perfect, but we have to try."
He says to her as he closes his eyes in concentration, and he begins trying to resonate his soul with hers.
The man grins as he watches Akumu stand back up and close his eyes.
"You're a tough little punk! And I don't know what you're doing over there, but as soon as I fill you full of lead, it won't really matter much."
He says as he begins readying the gun.

Yuki nods at Akumu,"Okay I'll try my best." she said to him as she closes her eyes and concentrates. She concentrate to resonate her soul with his.

SWINGING DOWN THIS SCYTHE.....
Akumu nods and concentrates on the Soul Resonance.
He can feel the sound of it. It sounds like the tune that Yuki and him both played. So that would be their medium.
He focuses on it as Yuki does as well.
They both open their eyes together and shout,
"Soul Resonance! Witch Hunter!"
At this shout their soul wavelenghts almost double in power, and Yuki's blade transforms into a large, semi-circular, crescent moon shape.
Akumu glares at the man as a wicked twisted pleasure smile spreads across his face.
"Time to die!"
He says evilly as he rushes toward the man.
The man panics as Akumu rushes him, after seeing Yuki transform.
He raises the gun and fires about 7 shots off before,
"Witch Hunter Slash!"
Akumu yells as he takes a left, horizontal slash at the man, severing him clean in two.
A soul floats up from the man's two halves.
Three of the bullets had hit Akumu in the abdomen.
Akumu's grin disappears and he falls onto his side, dropping Yuki as she turns back into her normal scythe form. Blood begins pouring steadily from the wounds on Akumu's body.
He looks up at them.
"Take me to the academy's nurse. I refuse to be healed by magic. I will live long enough to get there. Let's just hurry. Yuki, eat the soul as well."
He says weakly to them as he slightly winces again in pain.

Yuki transform to her human form as Akumu drops her in scythe form. She walks to the soul and grabs it and eats it. "Why would you refuse to get healed by magic?" she asked him as she walks to him and kneels down. She holds him and trys to get him up.

Andy shakes her. "I have a strange feeling about you leaving. I can sense my parents' presence. We've come too far and too close to turn around now. I know that you are not fond of my magic, Akumu, but it's the only way to heal to the best ability. I can make that happen in at most two minutes. Better than two weeks, eh?" she states as she walks to them.
