Silent Harry Mason I find myself debating something, what do you two think? Should Henry eventually come back with Eileen to help Frank? Or should both of them just go to Silent Hill in the main story, I have been rethinking this but need a good way of justifying it. What do you two think? I'm also unsure as to what to do. While I think it would be more fun to have them in Silent Hill, not to mention more novel and interesting, I don't think it makes very much sense. While the fourth game does revolve around a ritual first laid down by the Order, it doesn't actually have anything to do with the town of Silent Hill, itself. Henry had no involvement with Alessa, herself. So, why would she draw him and, especially, ******** Eileen (the escort mission scourge) to Silent Hill? If you could make up a good explanation for it, I would go along with it. But, without a good background as to why, I don't think it's a good idea.

I'm kind of at a loss of what to do with them as well, what if after seeing all the crap he went through at the hands of the Cult, pissed him off. and Henry wanted to do something about it? Henry actually states that he has been to Silent Hill before, he has pictures of Silent Hill in The Room as well doesn't he? *Tries to remember* Of course it wouldn't be that simple, I could improve on it. Just asking for some ideas.

You could try and sew the two stories together, The Room and The Main Silent Hill Roleplay. I can't remember, but they don't happen at exactly the same time, do they?
If you're willing to tie them in, you could do something like: ' Henry can't stop thinking about the apartments, even after he escapes. He decides to go back for closure. Walter, knowing that Henry has the potential to mess up his chances of achieving Paradise, uses his Otherworld to deflect Henry into Silent Hill, hoping that he will get trapped there like everyone else and not be capable of helping any of the current tenants escape.'
Er. If you like that premise, I mean. :3

But, I do think it would be interesting to play with intertwining the two plots. Especially if one were to play off each other. Like, how Walter wants to create Paradise (thus, destroying the world) and Alessa wakes up and begins manipulating the people who have come through Silent Hill to try and get them to stop Walter. Or, to help Walter achieve his goal, depending on what kind of Alessa we're talking about.

You'd have two different and very powerful beings clashing with each other over the fate of reality.
Maybe there can be a fallout of sorts, where a new God is created from this particular incident. It would be interesting symbolism to look at in regards to Walter (representing the male half, or you can twist it and make it the female half, since he's always looking for his mother), Alessa (who would be the opposing force, or the complimentary one in this crisis) and I guess, another catalyst, like...Oh! Like Harry, or something as the force in the middle. He's transcended life and death. Since Harry is revived, then, it could mean his existence is causing a contradiction...
I feel like there could be more details...Jonathan, Shailynne's brother is in Silent Hill, too. But I still don't know how he'll tie into all this, unless he's dead, or he's still halfway alive...or if he stumbled upon the town, too.

Ah, well, that makes things a little different.
If Alessa is Inactive...
Well, there's always flexibility somewhere. It doesn't necessarily have to be Alessa. It could be Heather for all we know, or someone else, maybe even Ian, or one of the other characters here. And on top of that, it's a pretty flexible plot to work with.
For The Room...Walter is already established as the antagonist. There's two protagonists so far frank and Teresa...I think Mistress Fuyutsuki's suggestion would work biggrin

If Alessa is inactive, how are all the other characters being drawn to the town? >: o As for doing better, I don't really know what you don't like about it. I also don't really know what you want out of me. Are you looking for a good set-up for Henry going to Silent Hill, or a set-up for him to come to the Apartments, or even just a set-up period? It's true that there are a lot of powerful forces that are capable of causing mischief, but it will be hard because most of these creatures are being controlled by The Order or "God", whoever happens to be playing that role at the moment. However, the fact that there's yet to be an established force behind either all the arrivals at Silent Hill or Walter's miraculous revival (non-revival, really, since it's his ghost that's back), means that there's still a really good opportunity to tie it all together with one large over-reaching plot (most likely involving the Order).

Um James had no contact with Alessa when he went, Valtiel is what Pyramid Head is from which is something that the Order deal with right? Not fully at something here.... Alessa is...I would say mostly dying...not dying, but she depleted energy reviving Harry. I'm looking for a good set up for Henry. And perhaps a reason for her to revive Harry besides maybe feeling what Heather is feeling...Lets make the room tie into the main story, but... there needs to be some sort of reason....ASGDFJFHD confused...@-@ so much....

Here's just a random thought I had:
What if...
The characters in the guild, in regards to the main storyline we have now, (with the gathering of different types of blood), were put through the horrors of Silent Hill in order to test whether, or not a person, or a group of people would be the replacement(s) for Alessa? Since her abilities have waned significantly, and she was sort of like, a foot in the door for other entities to pass through, their craving for a formidable person(s), or avatar(s) with greater potential has taken hold. As a result, they need more people to select from. More pain. More energy. Deeper sins. Deeper story. Plenty of malevolent creatures to bludgeon with a pipe and waste ammo on. The Cult itself probably would stick to the initial collection of blood for their ritual and everything, and they could test one individual, or many. But that doesn't mean other deities aren't watching. Maybe most of the Cult's gods want a piece of the action in our world, and hey, they could be in turmoil among themselves within the dimension they reside in.
A competition of hyper-dimensional beings, as we know, is very intense.
So, they're calling on particular individuals, (by no means, is this blatant, obviously you're gonna' have symbolism laced in a person's past and how they develop that through their psyche), especially now that The Order has failed multiple times to successfully manifest any one of them, (The God/Gods ), in their true incarnation to take over the third dimension. This could be a nice sub-plot to go off of, while the main plot involves the perfection, or the refinement of one God to lead its followers.
Rose Wolf would have to be informed by her deity that there is lots of intrigue going on, and that others, (such as Walter, Harry, Alessa/Heather), will sabotage The Birth. Maybe, even, due to Walter's immense desire to create Paradise, he has become more than just a ghost. Possibly, one of the other Gods has taken hold of him. Now, remember, The Order, or The Cult, may have strict rules and regulations, and they do manipulate people to do morally corrupt things, however, they are never in control of the deity they follow.
Walter, Rose Wolf, Alessa, Heather, Harry, Henry.
What are their roles?
Going off of Mistress Fuyutsuki's plot concerning The Room, (plus the addition of tying it in), and how Walter doesn't want Henry to foil his plans for Paradise, we can assume, at this point in time, Walter is going to create a God selected from one of the pantheon, or maybe it selected him. Or, he's just going to plant himself in one place to create what his version of Paradise looks like. He can have his own warped mind and lose himself in his pain, just like Alessa did. This has cause for questions: How will Walter bring about Paradise? Will he become a God himself if he can't procure a deal? How can he become a God? Is it possible?
If you're answer is yes, then you have to ask: Will the other Gods become resistant to another one of their kind trying to take over their fold? And mold not only this reality, but theirs, too?
If your answer is no, well, then the plot with Walter can be elaborated upon with other elements.
Contradicting this, Rose Wolf wants to create a perfect God; she wants to bring it into the world using complex rituals and elements of the occult. Clearly, both Walter and Rose's objectives are to bring about Paradise.
Alessa is weak because she revived Harry. For what purpose? Well, let's ask some questions to get the creative juices flowing. Does she want to stop Walter and Rose? Is she trying to compensate for Heather's pain? Is Alessa afraid of vanishing completely so that Heather has a chance to live her own life?
Heather is looking for her dad and Harry is probably looking for Heather. They both have a common goal, too. They want to live normal lives free of this psychiatric Gehenna. Why would they want to stay? Why would want to fight? They've been through too much and for them, when does it stop?
Henry is the least developed. I think he has a bunch of potential to be played out and to express his core self, besides being all, shy and everything. Henry gets in Walter's way a lot, but we still haven't learned much about Henry. The game itself focused more on Walter. So, I think this is his chance to shine. But again, why? We know that he's there, in accordance to Mistress Fuyutsuki's storyline, however, we gotta' think beyond that, because Silent Hill is a game full of twists, turns, and implications.
And this brings us back to the Walter section of this random thought.
There's just gotta' be more questions to ask to get this thing sorted out. And I hope this helps. Like the beginning stated, this is a random thought.I just want to remind you guys that this universe elaborates on the pain of the people who enter this town. Who need to come to terms with themselves and what they've done. Sometimes they'll perish in the wake of it. Other times, they won't. There's always more to look into than the initial impression.
It's part of being creative, you know?
Why not put a bunch of symbolism, imagery, and reference in our stuff, too? That's what made the game great, so, why not extend that same innovation into our roleplay?

That makes sense, I agree. Alessa's reasoning for reviving Harry: Check all three? Walter becoming a God? Hmmm...weird. possibly. BUT NOT likely? The Order setting up a trial? The blood has some thing needed to be placed on God's fetus, this fits the blood of Ian's parents who are all going to die, and his tortured soul from all the pain allows them to use the darkened blood from Ian's angst to basically cause Heather's fetus to become tainted by his desire for revenge... I'm not sure though, how do we make everyone feel important in this kind of idea? We have all these clashing forces...how do we add it up exactly? xD
