It was clarified slightly more in the admin thread. His example was the use of the state of pandemonium, on top of which the ninja has opened the seventh gate and and the raiton armor.
Should probably note somewhere that stacking strength (or at the very least speed) boosters will pretty much be too much for any ninja. Gotta love Pirate_Blue

The Eight Gates, no matter how many times I say it, still needs to be redone. When that time comes, it will need to be clarified that its abilities cannot be stacked with any other form of technique modification ( although passive attribute are fine ).

Would that mean people wouldn't be able to use Kaiser Fist while using Hachimon?

They could use the Kaiser Fist techniques, but they couldn't have the armors active alongside open gates. As I said earlier, Kaiser Fist, too, needs to be redone. It was probably the first taijutsu style to be "redone" for Shinobi Nations, so it's old in that it's new. ' '; Rather than having it say that an armor ability is needed to prevent recoil, I'll probably have it say something along the lines of "a protective technique." O... or something like that... But, it'll make it so the Kaiser Fist techniques can be used without recoil by making use of either the armor or the gates, and other like abilities.

I don't think we should really remove the recoil of some of those moves. I mean, at the strength and speed it's performed, a recoil is expect. Perhaps add a training regiment later on, much like Suiken has to negate the need. That'd keep it from being too strong earlier on and whatnot.

I'm not talking about getting rid of the recoil, just trying to say that by making use of the gates or other similar techniques you wouldn't feel the recoil ( same as if an armor was active ).

Ah. Well, depending on the move, or booster, it would make sense.

*Sigh* I really just want to rework, reword, and reorganize so much stuff... techniques mainly... Adding keywords and stuff is important, but I don't think we'd be able to take the necessary break and return with nearly as much attendance. Perhaps shutting certain aspects down... but even then... I dunno...

Why not just have some crew break down the task and do it a bit more subtly?

Quote: Suggested Crew Break Down For TechniquesOne Person per element with Shin to review the Revisions at the end when they are complete. Once Elements are done move on to the others. One Person for Maruton, One person for Taijutsu, one for Buki, One for Eisei and one for Puppet techs with Shin again Reviewing at the end. That leaves Just Genjutsu, Traps and Fuuin which you can have three people do Or Shin himself can do them while the others work in their rounds. [/shrugs] Just figured I'd throw that out there. It's really not as much work as people think. Just break it down into manageable sizes. If you don't you do what Aegis likes to call burning-out. I like to call [/brainsplosion] Take a step back and let your crew help ya out Shin or you're just gonna have mush for brains.
Now for my suggestions and such... Not much really. Shin already covered everything that needs covering. The Jutsu are that I think really need work. Some need to have their rank changed, some need massive rewording and some just need to be either removed or nerfed. [/more shrugs] Feel free to ask if you want anything done. I know I'm kinda new here but I am pretty good at technique stuff. It's kinda my favorite thing about Naruto.
New systems that should maybe be added? Hrm. I would probably fangasm for a Curse mark system... And I would love to see Junchurriki though not as much as curse marks... Maybe some more bad guys options? Honestly it's hard to become an evil ninja the way you guys have things now and that makes the time between story arcs relatively boring, what with no antagonists. Hrm that's all I can think of.

Aheh... I'm actually trying to do something similar right now... Oath and Mana and working on Tai and Bukijutsu, respectively. Reworking Ninjutsu is very important, so I'll have to try and organize something sometime soon... I need people to make any changes they make to techniques clear... so, when they time comes, I'll likely have them create their own threads ( as some have already done ).
As for Curse Mark and Demon stuff... well... the arc is all disorganized at this time... but it is very much so tied to Demon nonsense. My apologies that nothing is really global right now. Bad guys... bad guys... well... the closest thing is village specific arcs ( mini-arcs ) in which someone acts as a villain or whatever.
Boop... boop... things to ask you... How available are you?
And, to be honest, my brain probably already is mush. ^ u ^;

I think saying "bad guys" implies a rogue system is in order. >.> It would give all of those people that want to go rogue a way to do so without losing all of their mobility and advancement opportunities. Most of the missions require a Kage's approval, so they can't really go out and make money, although I suppose that killing people and raiding their corpses for cash is still viable.
