This Is For Real,
No longer able to contain her grin, the princess instead decides to act as if it weren't there. If she didn't acknowledge her excitement, she could pretend that Andrew didn't notice it either. "It would probably be for the best. I hear she's very busy." she informed him, pointing her chopsticks at him and attempting a serious expression. It very nearly failed, but she managed long enough to get her point across. Not that she had a definite point, for this 'she' was only a hypothetical, but her point would get across nonetheless. "Besides which, I'm far better company. At least, I'd like to think so." she smiled, raising more noodles to continue her meal.

 Andrew Caliu. Necromancer.
Trying to hold his most severe expression, which at the moment wasn't all that strong, Andrew listened as Rina spoke. "Yes, best to leave her be." Eating more of his noodles, he allowed himself time to recover, and regain some of the composure lost. With his bowl emptying, he nodded to her last words. Stirring absently, he returned to the hypothetical tone as best he could to finish, "You know, I absolutely agree. I hightly doubt someone could offer better company than you. And surely, you must be much better with children."

This Is For Real,
Hiding her expression behind her meal, Rina instead focuses on eating for a moment before responding; like Andrew, she was hoping to regain some composure. She almost choked on her food at his statement, and had to swallow hurriedly to cough. She smirked at him, raising an eyebrow at his last few statements. He was certainly racking up the brownie points, and Rina had to wonder if it was all on purpose, or he really was a flatterer by nature. "The best way to find out these claims is to test them." she points out, pointing at him again with her chopsticks. "You're going to have to spend quite a bit of time with me and this lovely child of your sister's."

 Andrew Caliu. Necromancer.
Glancing up from his noodles as Rina coughed, he took a moment to make sure she wasn't in any harmful danger, and was relieved when she spoke again. Covering his smile with a smirk, he nodded seriously to her suggestions of making sure that time would be better spent with Rina than this other 'her' they'd created; and spending time time with his niece being the main focus. "Oh definitely. I can never be too sure so I think that's for the best."

This Is For Real,
Keeping her poker face in place, Rina nodded in earnest. "I am so very glad that we agree." she responded, picking up more noodles with her chopsticks. Chewing on them thoughtfully, she looked about the restaurant curiously. She didn't see anyone she knew, and instead turned her focus back to Andrew. It seemed that they both were coming to an end of their food, but she didn't speak up about it; there was no rush, unless Andrew needed to be at his sister's quite soon.

 Andrew Caliu. Necromancer.
Taking a few more bites, Andrew was happy thier game had reached it's amusing conclusion, and that the evening couldn't possibly reach any point of boredom with both Rina and his niece being present. When his thoughts were interrupted by the check's arrival, he swiftly laid down the amount needed, if only to ensure that Rina's habit of paying would be prevented. Smiling, he stirred the few remaining noodles absently, asking a question in a normal tone of conversation, "Did this meal meet with your expectations?"

This Is For Real,
Noting the check and it's arrival, the princess didn't even have time to reach for her purse before Andrew laid down the proper amount. "But you got it last time." she pointed out, her brow furrowing. It was her turn to pay, at least in her mind. Taking turns seemed like a fair way to deal with it; she didn't want to be one of those girls who always had the guy pay for her.

 Andrew Caliu. Necromancer.
Leaning back in his chair comfortably, Andrew responded simply, "Yes, yes I did." Raising an arm enough to point his chopsticks at the princess, he added matter-of-factly, "And as I recall, you called this a date." This being a good thing for him, not only for his current point but also because the date itself was with Rina, he was completely willing to follow the common civil traditions. Smirking, he set the utensils down beside his now empty bowl, clarifying his thoughts aloud. "Which means, in my terms, that the gentleman pays for the lovely lady's meal." He nodded once with affirmation to finish his reason, but was unable to surpress words of an almost hurt tone, his next sentence being jokeful. "Or do you not think of me as a gentleman?"

This Is For Real,
Frowning fiercely at his statements, and especially his question, she shook her head. "You are indeed a gentleman." she assured him, raising her own arm to point back at him with her own chopsticks. "But in my culture, whoever first made the plans is responsible for the check, unless other arrangements of payment are discussed." she retorts, raising an eyebrow. "And since, by your own admittance, I called it a date, and you didn't, I pay. Or are you saying my culture is subpar?" she asks, jabbing at the air between them to emphasize her point.

 Andrew Caliu. Necromancer.
Sighing, Andrew uncrossed his arms. She did have a point, well, actually more than one point. "Interesting culture." he mentioned with an eyebrow raised. Making a note to perhaps learn more, he went on, acknowlegding her statement. "And you did indeed iniate this date. So, I agree it's your bill." Leaning closer, he rested a hand on top of the money, dragging it back toward himself. However, as he did so, he asked the slyph, "Now, what if one was dating? What occurs in your culture then?"

This Is For Real,
Pleased that she seemed to have gotten her way, Rina reached down into her purse to pull out her wallet. Snapping it open, she pulls out bills to match Andrew's, laying them down on the now free bill. Closing her wallet, she is about to put it away when she hears his question. Raising her eyes to match his, she can sense a challenge in them. "Dating?" she asked, as if reassuring that she had heard correctly. "Nothing that doesn't happen in other cultures, I believe. One person asks another on a date, and that person pays. Should they choose to become exclusive, they no longer see other people." she pauses, as if thinking about it. "The one who suggests the date still pays. But nothing else unusual." she states, rather decisively. She leaned forward a bit, eyeing him in slight suspicion. "Why do you ask?"

 Andrew Caliu. Necromancer.
Giving a small nod when she questioned his words, Andrew replaced the bills into his wallet. Returning to his position of resting one elbow on the table and his his jaw against a closed fist, he listened to her answer. It wasn't surprising, and therefore he was glad to know something consistent between thier upbringing. However, at her own question he simply smiled and answered, "Because I have a feeling I'll need to know such information."

This Is For Real,
Her lips twitched into an almost-smile, she raised an eyebrow in challenge. Putting her wallet back in her purse and replacing it around her knee, she rested her elbows on the table and her chin in her hands. She watched him a moment, a small light of suspicion in her eyes while she studied him carefully. "Are you intending to date one of my people?" she asks, a small and mischievous smile forming from her mouth. "I didn't know there were Sylphs at this school." she smiled innocently, doing her best to suppress the mischief.

 Andrew Caliu. Necromancer.
Watching her eyebrow raise, he couldn't resist a small smirk, one that was only caused in retaliation of her expression. It seemed as if another game was afoot, and he was plenty happy to go along. "Oh, I don't know..." he began, making a motion in the air just to show that it was a thought crossing his mind. His tone was curious as he continued, surprised that he wasn't at all nervous as to their topic, and instead happy to gain a few more hints from Rina. "In fact, I don't think there are many slyphs...but I know of one that seems to catch my attention. Perhaps you can suggest a proper way to speak with her on such subjects as dating?"
