 This romantic event was rolling along smoothly between these two young adults. The woman always seemed to hold him close and speak with a cheerful tone to her voice. And though the man seemed to be smiling with an arm around her shoulders, his appearance and true intentions seemed dark; as if he were hiding something. He seemed to be growing patient as well; but that was soon coming to an end.
The couple finally reach the end of the long, narrow alleyway; only to find a brick wall blocking their path. The woman seemed to remain in her cheerful mood and tried to turn them around, but the man didn't appear to budge. His embrace around her shoulders appeared to tighten. The man suddenly began to speak, losing his once pleasant voice. Now it seemed harsh and in disarray. He didn't appear to be the persona he once had anymore.
"..I'm glad the alleys of Death City haven't changed..otherwise I wouldn't have been able to take you to my favorite spot. It's been so many years since I've been here..in this dark corner..I always was in a hungry mood..but now those times have changed..do you know why..?"

The sudden change in the man's voice and tone seemed to startle the woman, making her freeze in place with his arms tightly holding her still. She stared at him with curiosity, but it was more of how sudden this was happening. She begins to laugh nervously, and nudges him; she exclaimed that he was a good joker, that he didn't need to continue. The man seemed to ignore her words, continuing what he had to say.
"..this place is very special to me, little miss. This was where I was born and fed; where I became strong. Because you see, this place wasn't only about that, but this place is where I saw my brother for the last time. But now he is with me..."
The man suddenly shoves her hard to the brick wall in front of them; pinning her against it as he panted; carrying a large grin on his face. She was ready to scream, if it wasn't for the intensity in his eyes. They were wild with malice, showing even the slightest movement can cause him to snap.
"...he is with me like the many other souls I have taken..how it has settled my hunger. But you mustn't fear my hunger for power. Neither fear my hunger for souls. Fear..the power of Pain."

Minutes had passed by since the couple had entered this narrow alleyway. It once echoed with the laughter of the woman along with her words to the man with her, their footsteps faintly heard when they were closer. But now all that can be heard was an eerie silence; as if they had never even entered. Not many people would know of the events that followed in that alley, but it soon became apparent that the couple had met some sort of end.
The silence was soon cut off by footsteps; no voices can be heard. It seemed to only be one person as well; but oddly enough, sounded like light steps. Because instead of the man walking out, it was the woman. Her body was unmarked, as if nothing had happened inside the alleyway. But something certainly did change. Not only had the woman's personality and face become expressionless, but she now carried on her back what seemed to be a large assault rifle.
She didn't bother to stop to look around for anyone else; she didn't even bother to listen at the ruckus happening in a farther away alley. Instead she began to walk deeper into the maze of alleys; showing no emotion or concern of her surroundings or weapon. But if seen closely, one thing can be noticed. What were once gentle and innocent, her eyes were now in a cold glare; her pupils shifting left to right, trying to stay aware of everything. The intensity in her gaze was paralyzing; showing there was certainly one emotion still inside of her. Fear.

 Obelisk clashed with Chrona's blade, he pushed himself back as he heard the scream resonance. He tear his ears off as horns grew threw the holes. His arm's skin moved around as if something alive is in it, the skin burst open revealing a new layer of scales in it's place. Two more arms burst out, moving as the bones get into place. His teeth grew sharp as his face's skin melted away into a monsterous form. Wings sprouted from his back and so his tail, he grew as big as a building staring down at Chrona. He roared as he swiped his claw at the ground, chunks of rocks flew out toward Chrona.

~=~Artemis ~=~ you won't see my. . .  Artemis looked at him, amused. "..so are you gonna tell me where we are gonna go...?' she paused then smiled " or is it a secret...?" she said still wearing her normal smirk . . . true colors

 Kitsune reappeared and looked around now feeling lost. She sighed, but shrugged off the feeling of being surrounded. She loved being alone, but she sometimes needed company. The fox barked and skidded to a halt by Kitsune and looked up happily at her. Kit smiled and started to walk along happily as if at home. She looked at a pile of cardboard and smiled knowing that could be her bed for the night. She giggled and went around following the scent of food. The fox followed along as if it was a dog, but it would bite anyone's hands off if they tried to pet him. "I really do need to name you....Snips? Swift? Foxy?... Kitsune giggled and knelt down. She made a fist and stuck out three fingers, the fox understood and pawed at the first one and second. "Well Snips...and Swift....you're my new friend. Nice to finally call you by name. Snips barked happily and trotted ahead to follow the food. Kitsune shook her head smiling. She decided to call her Swift in front of others and Snips when they were alone. "Nice having you Snips. She ran to catch up with Snips and kept in pace with her.
