Sorain groaned in frustration as he listened to his two team mates violently turn against each other. The scene was actually very surprising, considering the fact that Sorain himself would have never guessed Takera to have the guts to actually do such a thing. Although he had no will to actually assist Takera in this pursuit against Hatari, he damn sure was not about to waist all of his time trying to stop him either. The fact was he did have at least some history with Takera, and as such he would respect Takera's right as a Shinobi to fight his own battles without interference. If Sorain was not going to help, then the proper thing to do was to simply stay out of it. Opening his mouth to speak casually Sorain said, "Dont spend so much time with this that you dont complete the exams. What ever you two decide to do is irrelevent to me. However, I will make sure that the way is clear for whom ever passes after me.'
With that Sorain turned around and began to proceed down the tunnel, only assuming that the chick in the group would follow him. "Lets go, we dont have time for this" .

For several moments Sorain paced down through the tunnel, soon he started to notice that his footing regularly become unbalanced. "I think the floor is changing diminished, watch your step" Even though he had spoke the warning himself it did not stop him from almost stumbling over as the floor made a sudden and unexpected dip before spiking upwards. Sorain took a deep breath and did the one thing that he despised doing more than anything else. He slowly lifted his left hand and held it out in front of his face in order to keep balance and get a feel for his area, the other he held out behind him in a simple gesturing motion, hoping that she would grab hold of his hand. "Um.. You might want to grab on, its getting pretty rough". Although he was interested in her not hurting herself on the sloping surfaces, Sorain deep down felt comfort in being in physical contact with someone during the rare occasions that he actually felt blind.

Up ahead Sorain could hear the crossing and clinging of several metallic type substances crashing and scraping against each other. Turning his eye brows down and focusing in to try and get a better read on exactly what he was hearing, Sorain found himself slowing down in preparation. After almost falling into the pit the last time, he realized that it was unwise to go storming into the next area of the tunnel without first getting proper bearings. "Heads up, I think the next phase is starting"

Meistu sighed at the boorish behavior as the two boys she didn’t know began to brawl in the hall way at first she thought about saying something but then she just shook her head and turned seeing Rizu Take off down the hall she nodded and followed after him going the full speed she could in the dark but staying behind him it was even hard for her to see, she felt the ground becoming difficult to walk on again and sighed but then she heard Rizu call to her and reach out his hand she found that odd for his personality so she decided to take it the skin was still cold like someone who had been out in a snow storm but she ignored it and held on tight as they kept moving. When Rizu spoke up about the next phase of this part of the exam she nodded and then listened carefully. She could hear the gears turning and the mechanics moving it sounded like they were in a factory or something she wondered what it could possibly be she hoped it wasn’t more traps like the last one she would hate to see flying darts or pendulums. But she pushed it out of her mind and simply spoke her concerns. “Rizu I assume you hearing is better than my so I will tell you what I see, the floor is narrowing to basically single file line which either means we are going to be tunneled into a trap or, most likely have to dodge something I don’t know what the mechanics are so loud down here but I assume it has to do with the next phase of this exam, be prepared to move fast I have a feeling speed will be the key to this.”

Meistu continued to move forward letting Rizu take the lead she didn’t mind being lead around it meant if there was a trap he would trigger it first and she would get a better warning but she did hold onto his hand tight incase it was another pit so she could hold him up she could care less about the other two, they could fight until this whole exam was over for all she cared she just wanted all of it to be over actually so she could go back to her new home with Zagula who she knew was lonely Meistu was using full connection to her clone so she couldn’t see or hear Zagula but she knew that she wasn’t happy that Meistu had run off, that was obvious she would have to buy her something nice after this to make up for it. Meistu decided a nice night on the town doing anything Zagula wanted would work it would strain her pocket book but it was worth it to see her smile and Meistu also couldn’t wait to look into her eyes, they always had a soft kindness to them that made Meistu herself smile, she blushed thinking about it as she kept following Rizu basically being pulled along but she wasn’t complaining, she lifted her head to see what was in front of them she pulled back stopping and yanking Rizu back into her for a moment as she spoke. ”Sorry for the sudden stop but we are here.” Meistu stepped out in front of Rizu, she blushed a bit since she had almost yanked him on top of her. ”This one will be tougher than a jump there are moving pieces of the floor, they are going in all directions but from what I can see if you landed on them they would eventually push you back here, I say the end of them is about twenty to thirty feet ahead it’s just a straight line but that’s a long jump I can’t do that, but maybe you can, if not we are going to have to find another way.”

Sorain bit his bottom lip with a grim expression plastered across his face. Once again he was about to be forced to make another blind leap across a wide pit and hope for the best. This s**t was getting old, he had already been tested on his ability to jump so why was it that he was being tested again? No, that cant be right, there was simply now way that all of this was so simple as leaping over a few gaps and passing the test. That much Sorain knew for sure, the only problem was being blind, there was literally nothing that he could gain from the area at all. As much as mundane as it sounded, Sorain's only real option was to try his best and make the jump and hopefully there would be some sort of switch or lever on the other side that would be able to stop the floors from shifting. Taking a deep breath, Sorain knew that this was going to be a make it or break it leap.

Taking a pause and placing both of his hands on his female allies shoulders, he casually lifted her off her feet and moved her a few steps back before setting her down and speaking. "Wait here, ill call for you when its safe." Turning around and clinching his teeth Sorain took off into a dash, allowing his hollow bones to decrease his over all weight and thus allow him to gain more leverage in the air. In a matter of moments Sorain was off the ground and in the middle of his leap. While in mid air, Sorain turned his body in a spiraling motion before eventually landing safely on the other side.

Sorains landing was smooth, but none the less his forward momentum still caused him to stumble forward, which he expertly turned into a barrel roll to break his fall. As his body tumbled to a stop Sorain felt his leg strike something metallic sticking up from the ground. Leaning up for a moment Sorain reached out with his hand and placed a palm directly on top of the metal object which he know recognized as a lever. With a smirk, Sorain pulled the lever, instantly shutting off all of the panels and providing his team mate Meistu with safe passage. "All clear, lets go."

Sorain turned down the tunnel and began to walk off, realizing that at this point there was most likely not going to be anything else of note happening. So far he had basically carried his team through the previous trials, so it only made sense that he continue taking point and met the next challenge head on in order to clear the way for the rest of his team. With the panels now stationary, Meistu would have no problem getting across, in fact she simply had a casual stroll ahead of her in order to make it to the third challenge. Sorain was glad that she had made it to his team, she was one of the few people that he had met since dawning his new persona as Rizu, even if she would not recognize him right away due to his last 'cosmetic changes'. Either way however it was good to know that he was at least working with people whom were from his own village, if they did try and stab him in the back, he would not be all that far away to return the favor ten fold. Sorain stopped for a moment, 'Would they try me?'. The thought floated back in forth through his brain, Takera, maybe, but Sorain highly doubted that Takera would actually risk his alliance with Sorain by joining the team as an invador. Hatari?, if anyone in the group Hatari would, however there was nothing really to consider there. Last time Sorain had heard Hatari's voice, he was plummeting back into the pit and battling it out with Takera. All that was left was Meistu, whom was of little to no threat to him anyway. Even though he could not be sure that she was an ally, if he was wrong about her, it would be more than easy to see to it that she understood why betraying an Orasakai twin was a grave mistake.

Lost in his own thoughts, Sorain had not even realized that he had already begun walking again, and had made it to the end of the tunnel. All of a sudden words echoed through out the cave, the voice sounded very familiar, which Sorain recognized shortly after as one of the proctors voices. The speaker continued talking and explaining the last trial of the test before being interrupted by a loud crackling noise that was soon after followed by the sound of escaping air. Sorain could not see the crack in the way, however based on the sensation of the pressure in the tunnel being reduced (caused by a new opening) and the sound of the wall crumbling open, Sorain was able to deduce that he could not step forward.

Inside the wall Sorain found himself faced with a rack of potions, the sweet and sour scents danced through the air, filling his noise and invading his brain with a multitude of information. "These must be what we were looking for this entire time.." Sorain reached forward and grabbed one of the potions and sniffed it slightly. From what he could gather there were trace herbs such as White willow, and Mullein, both were herbs commonly used for boosting the immune system. Sorain highly doubted that any potion that boost ones immune system could be considered a poison. Realizing this, Sorain snatched four antidotes and placed them in his medical pouch as well as four poisons. Although he had no intention of giving out the poisons, he none the less thought he would keep them anyway...just in case.

Turning around to take a step back out of the hole in the wall, Sorain pulled open his medical kit and picked up one of the potions. Taking a moment to sniff it again, just to be sure that it was the antidote, Sorain downed it in one gulp. Although he had drank the antidote, he did not feel different at all, there was no doubt that the potion was real, the only questionable thing was rather he was even poisoned at all. Sorain sighed to himself before pulling out three more of the potions and sniffing them before laying them down on the ground, all a few inches away from each other before leaning back against the wall that had at this point already closed behind him. He closed his eyes and returned his head band over them as he awaited the end of the test. He hoped that he was making the right choice, and hoped even more so that the actions of his team would not drastically hinder his own score. Speaking up for the last time Sorain said. "Drink up.. its good for you"

Note: I assumed myself to be selected as the one to get the potions, simply because logically Sorain would have been the first person there, and no one else would have been there at the time of his arrival, meaning he would automatically get to pass out the potions.

Meistu blushed when Rizu picked her up she was shocked she felt so small and helpless like that, it was a weird feeling, and then he leaped over the trial and turned it off, it was like he was unstoppable she stood there for a moment her cheeks red in the dark before walking forward after him by the time she got to the end he had already set out the potions she took one and nodded drinking it without a second thought. "What is with this guy, and why am I blushing whats wrong with me?" She thought but she ignored it and waited for the others.

Takera stood and waited a few feet back from the pit waiting. He wasn't sure whether Hatari would put up a fight or just stay down, but he stayed ready for it. He heard what sounded like rustling in the pit below and steadied his nerve waiting for Hatari to try and get out of the pit, but instead he heard Hatari speak out to him from the pit. The tone of voice was that of a manifesting hatred. Takera listened as the boy tried to explain himself. Traitor? I suppose I could be seen in that light. Takera thought as he heard the boy turn his accusation around on him. In the conclusion of the boy's hatred filled response to Takera's accusation, he remarked an issue of losing his parents mysteriously. Takera remembered his own parents and after a moment he remembered Zeru and straightened up. I suspected you since we were in the hut together and you spoke with the crippled boy who's also a part of this country. He commented about your abuse a child and you tried to justify it as a learning experience for the kid. It disgusted me and sounded so very fake. From then on I took everything you said with suspicion as you'd ruined your own credibility for trust whether you realized it or not. After that you joined in the hateful chat that the fishstick, crippled boy, and another from sand were in. You only spoke out a bit before almost spitefully joining Rizu's side. I questioned whether your judgment was solid or not as you had seemingly just walked into a group spitefully without being able to say they'd be as loyal to you as you would've been to them. You continued your recklessness by making your way down to the bottom of the well through jumping straight in and ignoring the ladder. You didn't know what was down here and risked potentially hindering yourself. It was reckless and from there on you only continued to surprise me. I do feel bad however that after you helped me, I turned and dropped you into the pit, but I'm not an invader. I suspect you are. I'm doing you a favor more than anything now because if you are an invader and you followed Rizu to the end, he'd more than likely keep his promise and crush you. There's more to Rizu than you know. If I keep you here, you'll be safe, however we'll both lose this exam. Takera spoke before taking a deep breath. He heard Hatari speak once more to him about his suspicions. Just then he was able to see Hatari's head from the angle he was at staring into the pit. A sudden chill ran up his spine, but not from the look on Hatari's face, but from the eyes in which pierced the darkness with glowing red. His eyes widened and immediately he attempted to form a face-plate like visor across his face with bone covered ice to block his eyes from seeing the sharingan, but it was too late. He had been caught in the Genjutsu and the bone moved to fade away as he sunk in place and laid back flat across the ground on his back. "..Crap..." Takera said in a low tone as he was caught in the Genjutsu.

He felt the creeping of his mind being twisted and finally he found himself in a warped reality where he was tied to a wooden cross of sorts. Takera opened his eyes fully and saw countless Hatari standing before him. He immediately looked around to take things in. Damn. I was caught. This is bad. Takera thought to himself as he watched the multiple Hataris pull forth swords and extend their arms with swords in hands towards Takera. He struggled real hard for a second to get free, but just then the swords made contact. The Hatari's began to stab him repeatedly. The pain racked his body as though it were real and he coughed up blood as his head hung low for a few moments.

Takera paused for a moment. His head ached and he raised his hand up and over his face. His body felt a little weary, but after seeing his hand and raising his head to see his body unharmed, he immediately leaned forward into a sitting position. He was baffled. Hatari had him where he wanted him and just let him go. Takera was puzzled at this thought. At the very least, given his aggressions, he should have been sorely pissed at Takera, but here Takera sat, for the most part, okay. He then remembered the words Hatari spoke before casting the genjutsu upon him. Hatari had spoken about Takera being close to Rizu and how he'd been good at trying to stay on people's good sides. Takera rubbed his head and leaned forward pushing himself up from the sitting position to a standing one. He walked a few steps closer to the edge of the pit and looked down upon Hatari with a look of curiousity in his eyes.

"....You had me where you wanted me, but you let me free. Why? Despite my reasons, you hated me severely. You even made a statement of wanting me to die when you caught me with your attack." Takera paused making no attempts to retalliate upon the shinobi ahead of him. He turned his head over his shoulder and towards the path to the next part of this exam before returning to look directly at Hatari. "You do realize if I help you out of here and we move on, and you are infact an invader.. I won't be able to help you if Rizu comes after you, right?" Takera asked as he continued to circulate the thoughts of what Sorain had done to Zeru and himself after the great battle of frost. "I experienced my fair share of battle and what fighting can bring upon the world. I've lost those close to me and I know what Rizu is capable of. Don't let yourself be fooled. He's not someone to trifle with. I've learned it's always better just to shy away from conflict and appeal to people's better sides in order to get by. The pain fighting can bring is almost unreal."

"You just don't get it do you... I'm not here to do anything other than make chuunin rank so that I may one day find out what happened to my parents all these years... someone like yourself would probably never understand the loneliness in which I hold in my heart due to them not being able to watch me grow up or even participate within the Chuunin Exams, Unlike most people I"m not trying to hide anything I just want to gain power so that I can see that my parents at least get a respectable burial if they are indeed dead...and I know the consequences of lying to Rizu, Other wise I would have never joined this crew to begin with... and even if I did kill you what purpose would that serve me. when all it would bring is a failing attempt at this test making my score possibly lower than what is expected of a chuunin to be able to do..." He sighed heavily as he brushed the tears from his face he looked towards Takera and looked down once more.

"When you shoved me off the edge and into the Pit I landed wrong on my ankle and thus It's twisted to the point where I've tried twice already and haven't been able to make the jump...do you honestly believe you can grab and hold me if I jump once more...Let's hope we pass this test together, other wise we most likely won't make chuunin..."
