“Well I try to avoid meat in generally except fish.”Twilight looked shamefaced. “I just don’t feel as guilty about eating them. It’s not like when a bunny gazes at me with warm brown eyes. Then I just feel terrible,” Twilight sniffled. Twilight looked around for a moment spying the food. “About the fruit and nut’s I brought some too but my version of it also has popcorn for crunch. “

"Cheddar popcorn?" His look brightened a bit. " And don't worry about the meat.. I can do with out it.." He grinned wide and looked at the bundle. "You need any help in setting it up maybe?" He had a moment to wonder if she had any celery ribs filled with that soft tangy cheese. "You wouldn't happen to have stuffed celery ribs would you?"

"Celery roots sound good but sadly I don’t have any. Maybe next time it’s something to look forward too. However I do have cheddar popcorn. It’s so yummy and taste great with dried fruit and nuts. “Twilight untied her bundle inside she had her food wrapped inside a smaller cloth. She pulled the now empty outside cloth onto the ground sat down and un-wrapped the small bundle holding the food. “See I got it but thanks for offering to help me. “
*My real life kitty loves cheddar popcorn.

Abisen nodded a bit. "It does sound nice doesn't it? But ah well.. Next time it is. I guess it means we have an excuse now to meet again after this." He chuckled lightly. "Not that we really needed one I suppose." He watched her spread out the first cloth and made his way over to it, sitting on a corner. "Well, it was worth the offer at least. I'll just have to help you clean up and pack it home."

“Well it certainly does give us an excuse but I take such pleasure in your company I don’t feel like I need an excuse to see you again. Twilight smiled. “After all it’s not every day you meet such a considerate gentleman. A male who offers to help out is quite the keeper.”

He actually managed to turn several shades of a darker pink across his mask. "Erm.. well.. I'm glad to help." He gave a small smile. "After this day... would it be forward of me to ask if I could.. see you on a more than picnic level? If that makes any sence." He hoped it wouldn't be too bold of a question giving her previous statement.

Twilight’s eyes widened, in surprise at Abisen question. She was a little shocked at the forward nature of this seemingly shy noodle. Yet she was secretly pleased with his attention. “I..um..would be very happy to see you in more than a picnic manner, “She smiled shyly.

He'd bee afraid the moment his words had left his mouth that he'd been too bold. too much a dunderhead to ask that. However, his mind was silenced of worries when she replied. " Really? I mean.. I know I came off as a bit of a dunderhead and presumptuous.. and you don't have to unless you really want to but.. it'd make me very happy if we could possibly become something more.. friendlier." He was rambling in his embarrassment and excitement once again he was shy but Twilight ha managed to break past his shyness.. and it was a feeling he liked. He wanted to peruse her.. possibly see if maybe. there was something to this spark he felt. after all his sister had some one..

I don’t think you’re a dunderhead though I don’t think you should put yourself down. Twilight looked at Abisen face and looked at the ground blushing. “Some things need to be clearly stated as not to confuse matters. You were clear and precise and I like that in a male. I would be honored to see more of you in a friendlier… way, she stammered.

He couldn't help but to beam and step closer to her as she blushed. "Thank you.. for not turning me away.." He smiled once more and rubbed his cheek against hers before allowing her to have some space. "You're very nice Twilight.. And.. I like that.. You're not terrifying at all." He chuckled lightly. "I mean.. well I like how you were willing to be friendly to me even though I was terrified of you at the start."

Twilight remained very still as Abisen’s rubbed his cheek against hers. The nearness felt very good and very comfortable. His words brought out laughter, “Well who wouldn’t be surprised at a glowing bush. After all a girl’s got to protect her-self and a glowing bush can be very scary.”

“Yes we should. It’s so hot out now that a cool dip is the perfect way to cool down from the summer heat. Perhaps we can even see a few fish though it might be hard to catch them. Most of the time they come out to feed when the sun starts to set.”Twilight said thoughtfully and then leaning over she playfully licked Abisen’s cheek before heading towards the water.

His face felt hot from her lick and he started off after her. "Catch fish? I think I might have caught the better catch of the day." He uttered out unable to stop himself. It was once he realized that his inner monologue had become outer monologue, he rushed past her and dove into the water so at to try and cover it up.

Twilight cheeks turned pink ant Abisen’s complement. She wadded into the cold water. It refreshed her body and made her feel energized. Twilight glanced at Abisen and splashed water in his direction. “ What are you doing there Mr . Slowpoke. Come on in the waters pleasant and invigorating."
