As pale arms threw themselves around his neck his own flew around her waist. Picking the smaller ghoul up as her legs kicked out behind her and spinning her around. She still weighed less then a feather. Jack, he had missed that ear ringing screech. "I couldn't let you run a muck all over my school without me there to keep an eye on you, now could I?" He chuckled, giving her a last squeeze before lowering her back to her feet. "Ya, I hear ya, there was a wait for me as well, but I didn't get to visit the school before hand, so you're a little lucky."

He grinned toothily at her before glance over towards the other ghoul in their midst. "Hey." She was a ghost, of that much he was certain, but he hadn't a clue as to what sort of ghost she might be. Nothing he'd ever come across before. Very curious. "I'm Seiji," he held his human hand out to her. "I guess if you guys have any questions about the academy I can try to answer them. I haven't been here that long though."

Pepin extended a hand to Seiji with a ginger smile.

What a salty boil~ she thought and had to resist any sort of overt reaction. After all she wouldn't want to scare off potential help.. yet. "Being here is long enough," she replied then tilted her head. "Though I do have to ask how many ghosts do you see around the school? I was looking up statistics and.. I just don't know how dated they are."

She had in fact tried everything she could to look into the schools records from home but Amityville's digital security was above and beyond what she could ever tap into.

Screams of glee erupted from the banshee as she was spun around. Oh, Seiji. He just hadn't changed at all. Still the handsome, interesting, fun boil she'd remembered. Even when he let go of her she continued to hang onto him, grasping Seiji's arm tightly with both of hers and leaning on his shoulder. "I know. I know. Lucky, blah blah. But I wish I didn't have to wear this horrible pass. It's horrible." Her lips turned down into a definite pout as her brows came together.

Ash paid attention to the other ghoul who had wandered near to them. The frown turned around into a little smile. "What's your name? Are you starting here soon, too? There are so many ghosts around, isn't it nice?" This was very nice. And it helped that everyone seemed so awesome. Well except that one girl but Ash was trying not to think about her, besides, she'd wandered off anyway so out of sight out of mind.

Joachim stared for a moment at the owl like boil that stood in front of him, oh he had defiantly picked the wrong place to attempt to get some sleep as something familiar clawed into his neck as it attempted to skitter down his back.

He tried to avoid glaring at the boil dubbed Muka as he gave him a nod as a sense of uneasiness ebbed in his voice, "I am Joachim von Helmar but Joachim is fine, thank you and I guess it's a pleasure to meet you Ulmuka?" He hoped that more or less the Muka was not in a hungry state of mind because as of the moment the clawing of the rather upset mouse was starting to send pain across his back and he was tempted to toss the poor creature to its fate if it didn't stop.

"I do have errr mice on me but they are shy, at the moment they get a little intimidated around things that may.... eat them..." he replied looking at the patchwork undead before glancing again at Muka. "I am unfortunately here to look around at the suggestion of the people dubbed my parents so I guess you could say I might be a student here one day? I wouldn't put all my hopes into it there is always a chance I could just be sent home not that going back is great.... neither is staying."

His ears ringing slightly, Seiji pushed fingers up through the fluffed lengths of his hair before inserting that hand into his pocket. The other, of course, was being held hostage by Ash, not that he minded. It was an old, familiar sort of feeling. "There's an entire dorm of ghosts, so quite a few. I'm pretty good friends with a whisp and another banshee, myself."

He glanced down at the visitor's pass hanging around Aislin's neck, frowning at it. "Ya, those. They're sort of like our school pins, only those are only active in certain parts of the school. " He brought his clawed hand up, the one attached to the arm Ash was clinging to, and showed the ghouls the skull emblem peaking through the bandages. "They're not so bad, but can be annoying. You get used to them though." He didn't mind them, except when the damn things went haywire during class 'trips'.

"A PLEASURE INDEED." Muka's tone seemed a bit off, a bit too excited, but it seemed to just be the way he was. He grasped Joachim's hand in his own, being careful of his taloned fingernails. He didn't want to hurt anyone he was just meeting. "I am also a prospective student. My father sent me here to 'see how I did'. So far I like it very much!" He grinned. Indeed it was much better than he'd expected. The variety of students and prospective students pleased the boy and he hadn't seen nor smelled a single incubus or succubus yet.

"I would never eat them! Not if they are your friends. And not if they are alive. I like to have my meals prepared before hand." It was sliiiiightly a lie. He said those sort of things to keep up appearances but he loved to go flying at night and eat Bunny Wunnys just as much as the next boil did. "I'm glad to find some very nice people.." As he said it his eyes drifted around the room, as did his head, but then he snapped it back to the people he was talking to.

The library. A normally quiet refuge from the craziness of classes and pets and adventures... Jove had started hanging out there as a distraction, and then as a hobby, and now it was one of his favourite places to be when he was not walking outside or spending time with friends. The peace and quiet soothed his nerves, and he could come out feeling more energized and more educated than when he went in.

Except today there was an echo of unfamiliar voices amidst the gentle fluttering of books, and instead of trotting over to his favourite spot, the pup slipped around the shelves with wary suspicion.

Until he heard Seiji's voice. Then his little ears perked up, and he trotted over to find his friend... with an unfamiliar ghoul hanging off him. This was weird.

Sparrow was back in the library once again, only this time it was filled to the brim with the unfamiliar sounds of the students who were visiting the school for the first time. He stepped inside the abnormally loud room, wincing slightly at the cacophony of miscellaneous voices, gloved hands slipped neatly into his pockets. There were many unrecognizable people here - too many, although Sparrow's eyes flitted briefly to a rather beautiful ghoul with pale skin and paler hair, leaning against a tall boil with dark grey skin and black hair. He did not recognize either of them, but who he did recognize was the small gho - er, boil gravitating in that direction.

"Jove," Sparrow said brightly, grinning down at the puppy as he walked past him, lifting a hand in a brief greeting. "A pleasure to see you here."

He still felt ridiculous for having mistaken the gh - er, puppy for a ghoul. She - He, Jackdammit, HE - just reminded him a lot of his kid sister. That was, of course, an excuse for his stupidity, but it was a good excuse and he was sticking to it.

Unfortunately Sparrow, lost in thought, accidentally stumbled into a pale-skinned boil with inky black hair in his attempt to make his way through the crowded room. "My apologies," he said, stepping back and straightening his coat. "It's terribly crowded in here, isn't it?"

Ash peered at the pin curiously. "Well it has to be better. At least you still get to be normal with it. Me and her, we're grounded, Seiji. Grounded! Ghosts should not have to suffer such a thing. Oh!"

A delicate hand came up to cover her mouth, which had formed into a little 'oh' shape as she exclaimed. Her face lit up and she tugged eagerly on Seiji's arm to get his attention again. She brushed a hand through his soft, spiked hair and patted his cheek for good measure. "Seiji, you should meet Cat. He's so much fun!"

Peering up into the endless shelves she pursed her lips. Speaking of Cat he should have been back down by now. Perhaps he'd gotten lost. Or distracted. Probably distracted. There were so many things that that big head of his would want to wrap around all in one place she wouldn't be surprised if she caught him sitting on the ladder reading some book. Just as an adorable little puppy-eared ghost trotted up with a curious look on his face she detached from her friend. "Hold on a moment, I'll go get him. Oh, you're cute!" She grinned towards the new boy, giving a little wave before she trotted towards the ladder that she THOUGHT she saw Cat clamber up. Reaching up the ghoul took hold and began to skillfully make her way upwards.

If Jove could have stopped the blush that immediately came to his face upon seeing Sparrow he would have, but he couldn't stop the awkward feeling from overwhelming him. It made him grumpy and he preferred avoiding the emotion to sticking it out and understanding exactly why he was feeling awkward and grumpy. So he trotted right on by, almost up to Seiji.

His ears perked up when the banshee noticed him, and promptly complemented him in the most unflattering way possible. The grumpiness grew. He frowned stubbornly and his ears flopped backwards against his head as he turned and trotted the other way. What was with Seiji and those banshees...

He glanced over his shoulder once as he turned down an aisle, and in that moment he ran right into Sparrow's backside, just as he was talking with another student.

"Amityville... huh..." He muttered.

Avery had spent most his time wandering aimlessly throughout the library. An orange book tucked under his arm and a pencil balanced behind one ear. It was comfortable in here, if not crowded. Then again, a day like this? It was to be expected. Even the sounds were pleasant. Despite what many others might think, the darkness and the harsh snarling and growling from the books came more like a soothing lullaby to the behemoth, rather than sounds that might have caused hairs to rise or induce fear in others.

But... comfortable or not, the behemoth wore a scowl. He was not happy here and while he wasn't being rude or casting nasty looks at any individual, he also mostly kept to himself. Instead, taking in every little detail of the library and keeping any nasty choice words contained behind gritted teeth.

"Oh, I would NEVER eat mice!" Sybaline said. "They're so cute and fluffy and scary! I just adore them! Oh, and my name is Sybaline, you can call me Syb if you want! I want to be a student here so badly, it'll be of so much use when helping the doctor! But... if you don't really want to be a student, and you don't really want to go home, what do you want to do?" she asked curiously.

She glanced up at Muka, smiling for a second before turning her attention back to the reaper. Oh how wonderful, two new friends so quickly! She knew she would like this school!

Harriet had woken late this morning, such was neither usual nor unusual for her, Harriet woke as and when her body told her do so, she found that way she was always well rested and her mind in the right shape to tackle to day ahead, or the night, as previously stated Harriet awoke when her body said so this of course could be at night depending on her sleep patterns or one should say, lack of. So late morning Harriet made her way downstairs, dressed scruffily in numerous layers of clothing, as was usual for her, drank the cold cup of tea her mother had made an hour earlier; thinking of course Harriet would awake excited about the schools open day but not even her mother could predict Harriet's reaction to anything. She grabbed her battered leather satchel, tenderly insuring her tea pot was wedged protectively to one side, shouldered the bag then grabbed the door handle and stepped out into the world.

After having arrived at the schools main gates she was issued with her day pass and then enquired as to which direction the library lay. There was no question as to where she wanted to go first, she stared in utter amazement as some potential students standing about the main entrance wondering where to go, shaking her head in dismay she briskly passed the sad creatures by and swiftly took off in the direction she'd be advised the library lay. She'd never been within the school grounds before and had only ever heard rumours of the library but nothing truly prepared her for the actually thing.

She pushed one of the large double doors guarding the books to one side, took one step inside and then stood slack jawed in the doorway, staring in utter disbelief, this was beyond any dream she'd had of such a place. She noted someone else was trying to get in and was nudged out of her reverie, simply sidestepping to allow the person by. Her eyes took it all in but they darted about like a young kid looking at a sweetshop window display never quite knowing if it was real or simply to entice and feed the eyes. She ignored the small congregation of potential students, having little to no interest in socialising, she reached out towards the nearest book shelf and placed her hand reverently upon the leather spine of a beautifully bound book. She almost shivered in excitement and then slowly began to walk down the aisle, away from the quite chatter of others, away from the door and deeper into the belly of the library simply desiring nothing more than to lose herself in this place.

((For whatever crazy reason you might want to interact with Harriet, you'd have to make the first move, as her profile states she's not overly fond of company and therefore NEVER goes looking for it. As it is I'm signing off for the night so I'll tag anything in relation to Harriet tomorrow.))

Kallos had thought he was doing pretty well at the concept of not getting noticed. He'd managed to evade running into anyone so far, picked up a map at the counter nearby (actually two, since he planned on eating one of them later), and hadn't gotten run over by anyone. And better yet, no one had scared him yet. He did however get distracted when another ghost(?) boil came in and was promptly hugged by a very scantily-clad ghost ghoul. While Kallos didn't like her outfit (as it was much too revealing) it did make him realize that he should look around. There actually were a lot of ghosts here, himself included. Then, another ghost pup-like boil (at least he thought it was a boil?) appeared, and Kallos realized that he was a student. (And apparently, the boil being hugged was one too, and the ghoul hugging was enrolled but had paperwork problems?)

The inky-haired Haunt had planned on moving closer to the shelves so he wouldn't be causing any more congestion of students and prospective student. Before he could do this though, someone bumped into him. "Oohf." Kallos wasn't too used to being run into, due to his ghostly nature, but luckily didn't fall over. A few papers did dislodge from Kallos' notebook, but he managed to snatch them from the air and put them back on top.

"My apologies, It's terribly crowded in here, isn't it?"

Kallos, a bit startled that someone was actually apologizing, turned to see who had spoken to him. It seemed the speaker was a brown-haired boil in an intricate-looking coat. And due to his lack of wings, horns, etc, Kallos took it that he was a reaper of some sort.

"O-oh, it's alright." Kallos gave a slight shrug (he would have waved his hand that it was fine, but he was still holding his notebook) to show everything was alright to the person who'd actually apologized. Kallos realized he was actually quite nervous, since he really didn't know how to talk to others. By the lack of visitor's pass, it was clear the other boil wasn't a student either. "I-I should be the one apologizing, since I was blocking the way..." Looking around again and noticing how there really WAS a lot of people, Kallos grew slightly paler (if that was even possible.) "I-it is crowded... Oh, here I-I'll move to you can get through."

Kallos quickly moved back a bit into some open space, allowing the reaper boil the room to come farther into the library without having to run into anyone else. Gulping slightly, Kallos began to ask a question (which is actually rather rare for the shy ghost to do just after meeting someone). "D-do you attend this school...? A-and is the library always this...c-crowded?"

Then, Kallos realized that the pup-like ghost he'd seen eariler had appeared again. "O-oh, h-hello..." Kallos said, for lack of a better greeting.

((OVER STIMULI HERE))

(@Ash) "I'm Pepin," replied the ghoul as she fiddled with the tag.

Well now that was awfully vague.. she though but was morally satisfied with Seiji's explanation of "a dorm full of ghosts." Ash mentioned being grounded and the glitch ghost couldn't help but purse her lips and flicker some. (I hope this is okay but making her not flicker would be like.. happiness in a barrel for Pep xD ) "Well I wouldn't doubt that they are all here, I think the library is just a breeding ground for us!"

Her eyes shifted to Kallos, and then to Jove whom which she really looked excited to see. "Oh my Jack that is the cutest little boil I have EVER seen.." She then sneered and snaked her way past Seiji and Aislin whom which seemed rather uh.. wrapped up in their relationship. As far as Pepin knew they were still hitting it off but not quite dating yet- she didn't realize how incredibly off she really was.

At this point though, Pepin was considering migrating to another part of the school. While a gossip whore, Pep had little desire meddling with students that weren't actually attending the school yet and wanted to know the real deal from those that weren't wearing tags.
