Kronos arrived to the ship's deck finally, climbing to the top. He looked around the deck, wondering who he should deliver the message the Queen had given to him. He looked about the deck of the spire for a while, and noticed many competent looking people. As he recalled, the spire had an arch mage. He noticed a dark skinned woman with pink hair and the build of a mage, perhaps a priest. He didn't know exactly. I may as well try. The dreadnought walked towards Lilliana. " excuse me? You wouldn't happen to know the owner of the spire would you?" He asked in his always polite but emotionless voice.

A new man? "It's always good to try but you shouldn't judge someone by their appearance, Kronos," Liliana said. "It's nice to see a fellow mage, especially a dreadnought. But that you belong to a nation means you're here for business. So, did your ruler tell you to kill a rouge for your novice test?" she asked, ice in her voice enough to drop the temperature around them a couple degrees. "Because you will not be able to pass me if that is so."

Kronos looked at Lilliana oddly. "How do you already know so much about me? I've never even met you." He inquired her. When she suggested that he came here to kill a rogue, he pondered for a moment before shaking his head. While she could have sent me here for that, that's not the case. I'm here because my city needs allies. She gave me this message to hand to the arch mage. It says that any rogue wishing to join our city is welcome to, and that we'll offer sanctuary and protection. " The man said to Lilliana. He had no intention to hurt anyone in the spire, and doubted he even could with the small amount of spells he actually had.

Liliana pondered the man's request. The nation was new and it would be good to help but she didn't know who this ruler was. He had said "she" so Liliana could be safe to assume a queen ruled. "If you take me to your queen, I will speak directly with her about a possible protective and training treaty. I am Liliana, Arch-Mage of The Spire and all who call it sanctuary." She looked to Cain. "Cain, please stay here in case any new rouges come to train. I will not be long and you have a means to find me."

Kronos thought for a moment before answering. "Alright then. I'll take you back to the queen. I do have one question however... Do you have any faster means than travelling by boat? Or do we take a boat back to the mainland?" He asked the arch Mage. Kronos had found he didn't do well traveling by boats.

"Well, there is the griffin behind me here. So long as Cain agrees to its use," she said, stepping aside a little so Cain could talk to Kronos. As she moved, she came in range to reach out and touch his arm, gaining more information about him.

Or else, the effort we've put in... none of it would really matter..." He had taken the ship -- taken all of this effort, weeks, even months of traveling, and finally, he made his arrival. It wasn't awe-inspiring like he had been told, but then, nothing in this world seemed to be that way, anymore. Yes, he would take what he had, and this, to him, was enough. Perhaps he and his brother wouldn't belong -- but then, there was nowhere they ever would. If this wasn't enough... if this didn't bring either of them happiness, then it might as well have been the end.
