-Time Skip-
When Lorelz woke Edward was gone. The sky was bright and the rain had stopped. She noticed that she had rested herself on Akito, and the fact that he hadn't moved away was possibly a good sign, a sign that he wasn't disgusted. Or..... was to polite. Either way, she was happy where she was.
Yawning, she glanced at the opening of the cave, tail wagging side to side. Today, she'd have him all to herself!

Teeny tiny movements at his side woke Akito from his sleep. At first he thought it was Ripari but the movements were way too small for his son. Then he remembered Lorelz. Peeking open an eye he caught sight of the vixen watching the entrance to the cave. Opening the other he looked around, not moving his head at all, and noticed Edward was gone.
Indecision gripped the fox. He didn't really want to move; it was warm right where he was, and laying next to Lorelz was nice. On the other hand, he was pretty hungry. That thought was interrupted by his stomach growling rather loudly. Akito snorted, "Fine, fine, I'll feed you." He grumbled sleepily, though he didn't move right away.

"Eh?"
Akito's voice startled her, eyes flicking over when she heard his stomach growl. Oh, was he hungry. She smiled brightly, getting up. The least she could do for him since he had so kindly slept beside her was find him breakfast! She grinned at the sleepy male.
"Wait here, kay?" She hopped off, returning about twenty minutes later with a rabbit dangling from her jaws, setting it near him. "A lot of prey ran away due to the storm, but this little bugger was still walking around!" She sat down, licking blood from her maw before stretching, letting out a soft yawn.

"Lorelz, you don't need to hunt for me. Not only can I do it myself, but you didn't get anything for yourself." Placing the dead rabbit between his front paws, he grabbed it just under the shoulders and twisted, ripped, tore, and pulled until he had the creature neatly in half. Pushing half of the rabbit towards her, Akito mentally checked what he said and wrinkled his nose.
He didn't really want to apologize, especially since she did need to eat. Besides, if she was going to stick around, she should probably start learning his own odd brand of care and concern. Still, she did get him food, and he needed to thank her. "Thank you for going out of your way to hunt for me though. No one's done that for me in a long time. Even my sister hunts with me, not for me."
Akito smiled at Lorelz and started eating his half of the rabbit. "Rabbits, are stupid creatures. This one was worse than the rest, apparently, if he was still wandering around after the storm we had last night." He grinned again and finished off his share.

She blinked at his first words, listening to the male intently. She shrugged her shoulders gently, smiling when he gave her the other half of the rabbit intended from him.
"I didn't mean to not get food for myself. It's just, Edward gets me breakfast all the time, and yesterday you gave me food. I wanted to not be useless and do something for someone else for a change."
She smiled at his thanks, nudging him gently before nibbling at her rabbit. "How did you sleep?"

Akito nodded, he could understand not wanting to feel useless. He'd had to get over that same feeling when his mother was able to bring back more food than him since she could fly and he couldn't. "Yesterday I...I didn't so much give you food...exactly. You earned that rabbit. None of us would have eaten if not for you. So, even if you didn't actually catch one yourself, you weren't useless." The male frowned and wondered if all that had made any sense.
"Maybe tomorrow morning we should hunt together and not one of us doing it for the other." He paused thought about that and smiled softly. "Well, sometimes we can. But you have to get food for yourself too, Lorelz."
He blinked and rolled one shoulder. "I slept just fine. Very peacefully. Ah, you?"

Together? Tomorrow? So there was a tomorrow? She wagged her tail, nodding happily. "Yes, together, I'd like that a lot."
She smiled brightly at Akito, nudging his cheek. "I slept well!" She mewled at him, not mentioning that she had slept better when she had realized she was sleeping against Akito. He was so warm~ The green vixen glanced at the outside, knowing soon they'd leave to find that fox she had mentioned earlier.

Akito raised his eyebrows at the sudden burst of enthusiastic happiness and wondered what he had said to set it off. He kinda wanted to say it again some other time if she was going to get this happy about it. She nudged his cheek and he blushed slightly. "Good, I'm glad you slept well. I did too, actually, well enough not to even notice your friend's egress." He said giving the vixen a small smile.

At his smile Lorelz could only grin back, she loved when he smiled. She still remembered how awkward she had made him in the beginning, she was glad he had gotten over that. Wagging her tail, she glanced at where Edward had once been, frowning briefly.
"Eddy probably left right after the storm." He was probably right now snogging with his girl, too. Her tail flicked once, then glanced over at Akito. "I wish he had said goodbye, but he's bad with those." As was she, actually. Getting up, the vixen stretched her body, letting bones crack and a low sigh to escape her.
"Ready for our little journey?"

"Isn't everyone?" Akito asked blandly. He remembered his mother again, and his sister, even his son. The black male frowned, he said goodbye a lot it seemed. Standing, he shook the kinks out of his muscles and the thoughts out of his head. He was starting to sound lonely. He'd never been lonely before. Ending the shake with a flick of his tail, he turned to Lorelz and nodded.
"Lead the way." He said softly. He wondered if he'd actually get to see his brother. It would be an interesting meeting.

"Nope, not everyone!" She chirped, smirking at Akito and winking. She moved closer to him, licked his cheek, and bounced off to lead the way.
"It shouldn't take to long. If you want, we can play a game?" She asked, head tilting back. "Unless you rather not. I was thinking a question game. But I can be quiet if it makes you happy." She wouldn't mind either, as long as Akito was happy, though she would like the chance to get to learn more about him.

Akito blinked at the sudden lick before shaking his head with a rueful smile and following after the excited vixen. "A question game?" What kind of game was that? He didn't think he'd ever played anything of the sort. "Ah...sure. Though I don't know the rules."
"And, Lorelz? Don't think you have to be silent on my account. I may not always answer...especially if I'm in a bad mood," he smiled, knowing he had his days, "but I can still listen. And today, I'm not in a bad mood." He said softly, moving up beside her and tapping her side softly with his tail.

She glanced over when Akito spoke, blushing slightly at the touch to her side. "The rules are you have to answer, of course~ It's meant to help others get to know one another and have it be fun! We take turns, of course."
Glancing back, her tail wiggled happily. He wasn't in a bad mood today, which pleased her. Even if he was she'd probably still be silly and happy. The mere presence of Akito made her giddy and hyper, though if he was upset she'd make sure to try and not make him more upset.
"I'll go first, to show you what it is like." She cooed. "Do you have any kids?"

Those seemed to be pretty easy rules. Akito nodded, he couldn’t think of anything that he would want to hide. And if there were something he didn’t want to answer, he could probably just say so. He wondered if that would mean he lost the game. He waited for her first question and raised an eyebrow. That was pretty personal, but it wasn’t offensive so he nodded.
“Yes, I have three kids. Ripari, I may have mentioned him? He’s my son and the one I raised. Era and Fyra are my daughters and their mother raised them. Their mother and I aren’t mated, however. The kits were…” an accident? No, wrong word. A mistake? No. “…a surprise.”
Akito wondered what he should ask and shrugged. He’d just ask the same question. “Do you have kits?”

Nodding she flipped her tail to touch his briefly when he trailed off, not sure if he was nervous or simply trying to find the right words. When he finished his sentence she smiled, tempted to say the best thing comes in surprises, though she didn't. At his question she blinked, head shaking.
"Nope." Was the simple answer, though now that she thought about it wasn't that cheating? Akito could have simply said yes, but, he didn't. "I want kids though, I think I'm old enough to have my own and I want to be a mom, but..." She trailed off briefly, shaking her head. "Sometimes I worry I'll be a bad mommy." With this she paused, thinking of another question.
Giggling, she nudged Akito's cheek, leaping over a log. They would be reaching the location soon! "What do you wash first when you bathe?"
