Suto was right in the answer that Blade was looking for. Furrowing his brow, the thief couldn't help but frown still. But... on the bright side it seemed to be for the sake of Mitsu.
"I don't want to lose you.." Shun said quietly, "A little pain.. is nothing if it means I can help you. You'd do the same in my place wouldn't you?"
As much as he didn't want her to do something like that as she seemed considerably more frail than himself (especially now with this bit of not healing properly), he had teh feeling this was the case.

As Mitsu hid her face again she nodded. She didn't have to even think about it because yes she would do the same thing for Shun. Despite the pain it might cause she would endure it if it meant she could help him even a little.
"As touching as this is I have work to do," Suto said bluntly before reaching into his pocket and producing two small vials. One had the medicine for Mitsu the other had Blade's. "You are excused."
Apparently Shun had taken the heat for both of them today, the scientist was now focused on his new sample ready to get to work. He wouldn't have anything ready to test until at the earliest tomorrow.

Not letting go just yet, Shun glanced over at Suto as he held out two vials of medicine. Since Mitsu would have to fetch hers, he hugged her a little more tightly before slowly releasing her. He then reached towards the back of his neck where the scientist had stuck him. There was still a trickle of blood leaking from the tiny hole but it wasn't anything serious. It did hurt some to move his head, however because of it.
Tentatively, Blade took his vial while glancing at the two. They had made it off pretty easy today, though that stuff he had to drink was not pleasant to take in. It could have been far worse, however. Suto could have easily put his life right at the brink of death only to snap him back at the last possible moment.. if even that.

Mitsu lingered a bit longer in the hug before she finally pulled away her hand reaching out slowly to take her vial. Her eyes drifted to Blade for only a moment before her gaze shifted to the floor. It was because of Shun that they were getting off so easily today.
Turning back toward the assassin, Mitsu saw him holding his hand to his neck. "L..let's go upstairs to the nurses office." She said softly. Mitsu had gone there on many occasions after school when Atticus wasn't there. If Suto didn't have the supplies she needed Atticus usually had something stashed away in the nurse's office. Hopefully he wasn't aware of too much stuff going missing.

"Sure.." Shun murmured, "Though I think I'll be fine without the bandages. It's a pretty small wound."
Though, with his shorter hair, he couldn't really hide it that easily now. Aah perhaps he shouldn't have gotten the hair cut. Oh well.
"Let's go.." he said quietly while glancing towards her to see if she was coming.
For a moment or so, Blade stared at his vial before pocketing.
"Yeah, let's get going. I never like to stay down here for too long anyway."

With a nod Mitsu followed the boys out of the lab while Suto was focused on his work. It was always best to leave as soon as possible encase the scientist decided to change his mind and keep them around. He had done it before.
"W-we can at least clean it up," Mitsu said softly. She would be sure to make Shun take some pain medicine too because that had no doubt been horrible. "Are you doing okay Blade? D-do you need some pain medicine?" The wolf girl's stance had started to withdraw on itself, her tail coming up between her legs as they walked. Out of the three of them she was the only one who hadn't been hurt and the other two were being hurt because of her. Blade had taken her place and Shun was hoping to aid in a solution to her problem.

"I'm just tired.." Blade said while giving her a faint smile. It was true. The pain was completely gone at this point, but damn he felt like he could use a nap or something along those lines.
"Some time relaxing and I should be back to normal... well mostly anyway," he said.
With a small sigh, Shun nodded, quietly agreeing to at least clean up the little hole.
"Are.. you ok?" he asked her softly. While he knew that she hadn't been under any fire by Suto, he knew her condition was still not that great over all. At least that was he had gotten from what went on down there and all.

"Mostly..." Mitsu repeated in an airy sort of way. How far from the truth that little word was. More like not nearly at all. The scientist had taken what normalcy they all had and completely flipped it upside down before shredding it apart. There was no real hope that things would be back to normal mostly, just that they couldn't get worse.
No...no she couldn't think like that. The wolf girl did her best to shake those darker thoughts from her mind. She still had friends, she still had a big brother of sorts, and she even had a boyfriend. Things weren't that bad and they could always get better.....she hoped.
It was during this mental pep talk that Shun's question caught her ear. "Y..yeah. I'm fine." She reassured her eyes reflecting her mental conflict. "Let's get you cleaned up..so you can rest. Do you want to walk back with us Blade?" While he seemed to be doing okay, Mitsu kind of wanted to keep an eye on him, just encase some strange after effect appeared. Those had been known to happen as well.

While she said she was fine, Shun could see that she wasn't through her eyes. If only ridding these troubles were as easy as slitting someone's throat. It was unfortunate that wasn't the case for them.
"Um.. sure," Blade replied while keeping up with the other two. A little detour before heading to his room wouldn't be too much. Just as long as they didn't end up sprinting there or something along those lines.
"Let's just make this quick. Never know when the raven will be back," Shun murmured as he walked on towards the nurse's office. He did hope that Mitsu wouldn't want to bandage the wound. He would feel a little weird having one there.

"Okay," Mitsu nodded. Shun was right, Atticus could very well pick up supplies and return at a moment's notice. The nurses office needed to stay stocked after all.
Taking the stairs up a level Mitsu made her way toward the nurse's office with the other two, her eyes more focused on where she was walking. Darker thoughts kept plaguing her mind no matter how she tried to ignore them. It wasn't always as easy as just thinking a happy thought.
Opening the door slowly Mitsu peeked into the office to see that Atticus was indeed not there. "It's clear." She said softly before moving in and automatically going to a cabinet to open it up. The wolf girl knew were quite a few things were kept, or at least the cleaning and bandaging supplies.
"This shouldn't take long Blade," Mitsu tried to reassure coming back toward Shun with a bottle of peroxide, a cotton ball, and a band-aid in hand.

Upon arriving to the nurse's office, Blade nodded and took a seat by the door to relax in the meantime. He was starting to get a bit hungry as well, but his weariness was a stronger feeling than hunger. Food could come after he had regained some of his energy later on.
With a sort of grimace, Shun sat down in one of the chairs with his back towards Mitsu so she could take care of the cleaning bit. This was going to sting for sure, and he wasn't really looking forward to that, but it had to be done he supposed. It would suck to get an infection there of all places.
The tiny hole was pretty easy to spot, especially with the red slathered on about from his blood. The bleeding had stopped by now at least.

Stepping up behind Shun, Mitsu frowned seeing the wound. It twisted her insides all the more to know Shun was constantly being hurt because of her. "T..this might sting a little." She warned softly as she poured a little of the peroxide on the cotton ball.
Trying to clean the wound quickly, Mitsu removed all traces of blood before carefully placing a band-aid over the small puncture mark. Her hand lingered over the bandaged spot for a moment before it came up over Shun's shoulder and across his collar bone. Her other arm wrapped around the other side as she held him close from behind, her eyes still very much upset.
"Why...do you always get hurt because of me?" Her voice was only a whisper but the strain in her voice spoke volumes on how she felt. Not only did he get physically injured but emotionally as well.

Feeling the sting, Shun let out a light hiss and his hands tensed some but he remained still for the most part. He relaxed again as she finished cleaning and pressed the bandaid over the small wound. What he didn't expect was for her to embrace him from behind like that. Turning his head to try and face her a little more, he could see how upset she was. That and her tone was heart wrenching.
Bringing up a hand, he placed it over hers and his eyes softened as he waited a moment or so to speak.
"Getting hurt is nothing new.. Most of the time I just take the damage for no real purpose except maybe to harm another," he said quietly, "Feeling pain is inevitable... but at least I can try to keep you safe.."
"..Love hurts. As some say.." he murmured lowly.

His words didn't seem to help as Mitsu hid her face in the shoulder that was the furthest from his injury. She was doing her best not to cry again, she always cried and crying never helped a thing. It just made her eyes puffy and red which she was sure was a horrible sight.
Finally straightening back up Mitsu hugged Shun a little tighter before she started to pull away. "You are my family, I want to keep you safe too. I don't know what I would do if something happened to you." The simple answer was she would snap and probably be a danger to others and herself. "Let's get you both back so you can rest." Mitsu said softly pulling away and moving around to stand beside Shun holding out her hand to help him up.
"I can bring you something to eat while you both are resting." At least they were in the same dorm, that was a convenient one stop trip.

As she began to pull away, Shun gripped her hand gently, reluctant to feel her go. He slowly did release her so he could turn to see her more easily.
"And I don't know if something were to happen to you.." he said quietly. He already thought he had lost her once and that pain was almost unbearable, "I.. don't quite understand though.. you keep calling me your family.."
Blade, for the most part didn't really pay attention to the other two as he had practically zoned out from weariness. Seeing Mitsu help Shun up to his feet though, snapped him back to reality. Blinking, he nodded and stood up as well.
"Oh.. you don't have to," he offered with a weak smile, "Don't want to trouble you and all."
