Phoenixfire had journeyed up the ramp and found her place by Chrono's side before gently lifting her son out of Chrono's embrace and into hers, taking only a moment to look back on the aftermath of what she had wrought on Landry. She found him reading the papers repeatedly in awe and breaking the hold the papers had on him to meet her eyes with his, the painful gaze that locked with hers begging to know the truth. Phoenix had not seen those eyes hold such emotion in a long time and though it brought back memories too painful to bear, she could not allow her son's father clemency after all that he had put her through. She knew that this would be a hard road to travel but it was necessary to ensure a peaceful future for her son and herself. Phoenix let out a ragged breath as she broke the connection to look to Chrono, eager to depart from the ramp and to make their way home. The shame of those months with Landry echoed back to her with his presence and to depart from ringside would be a blessing.

Chrono placed his arm around Phoenixfire's shoulder and the trio walked away on stage leaving Landry to ponder the events that transpired. Chrono paused for a moment however, and removed a pocket watch from his pants and dropped it where he stood. Then he started walking back to the back with Phoenixfire and the child.

Landry was in the ring still, papers skewed across the mat, on his hands and knees sweating like a faucet and as white as a ghost. He couldn't believe this was happening.
After SEVERAL moments, he snapped back into reality, knowing the show had to go on. He collected the papers and slid out of the ring, his eyes not meeting those of a single fan on his way to the back.
