"Well, that was weird," Martin said. He was staring at the center of the establishment, where just a moment ago some sort of... black hole had appeared. And he wasn't the only one who noticed something was going on; a few were still staring at the disturbance's former location, and many patrons had quickly paid for their tabs and left while the atmosphere was uneasy. It felt much clearer now, though the conversations were still quiet and halted. The loudest noises came from the employees back in the kitchen as they cooked, though Martin was sure he heard some loud thump out in the dining area. But there were only a few people sitting at the tables out there, and none of them seemed too concerned anymore.
Martin adjusted his glasses nervously. Something about that... void seemed familiar yet he couldn't place it. And that was bugging him more than the atmosphere.
"And I hadn't even had anything to drink yet," he said with a straight face to his sister. "Maybe I should remedy that." He looked to the bartenders to see if he could catch any of their eyes without saying anything. He didn't care for talking to strangers much, but that was how one usually got something to drink.
"Do you want anything?" he asked Morgan. He wasn't sure they would stay too long, in case that strange disturbance happened again and proved to be harmful, but he didn't want to keep her from eating real food.

♞▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬₭night Øf ₲rief▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬♞ Ønce a ₭night... Ⱥlways a ₭night. Ønce a ₦ightmare... Ⱥlways a ₦ightmare.
♞▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬Ðarragh Ø'฿reian▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬♞ It was after the time of the Indigo Knight's 'experiment', and the talk of the strange happenings were still going around, that another patron entered the bar. The man appeared as if he were carrying a great weight on his shoulders... His expression was distant, even as he made his way past other bodies, on his way to a vacant table. A bag was lifted slowly off of one of his slim shoulders, and was set on the table. A cell phone with an out-of-place cat charm hanging off of it was placed on top of that.
Darragh O'Breian took a seat, slowly. He was wearing a faded blue, short-sleeve, button up shirt that looked faintly rumpled from wear. An equally faded pair of jeans donned as his bottoms, and some boots as his foot attire. To those in the Waking world, he was just a simple man with dark circles about his eyes and the appearance of having no intention of speaking to anyone. To those that were within the bar, but in Etherea, there was something different about him... The shadows clung too close to him, his shape was vaguely blurred, and the feeling of Sorrow drifted off of him like a cologne.
Setting his phone aside, Darragh opened his bag and pulled out a few items of paper, and a pen. He had work to do, though half of him wasn't with it at all... The shadows within the Bar might be noticed to have darkened.

Ryan had been asleep for a few minutes dealing with whatever was in the room, but in Etherea. It seemed to have calmed down, however. Ryan had either stopped whatever was causing the disturbance, or the disturbance had simply stopped. Whatever the case, the people in the bar had all calmed down, and stopped paying their tabs en masse.
Angel looked over and saw the gentleman and the pretty girl again. He hadn't spoken to them yet, but had acknowledged them earlier. It was official: He was the worst bartender of all time. Ever.
Walking over to the couple he smiled warily, looking to the center of the room for a second, and then over to Ryan's spot in the back where he slept.
"Sorry about that. What can I get you two?"

Ryan Jones – The Silver Knight Disaster averted
Ryan suppressed a shiver as she used both his and Corvus' voices in tandem and very creepy union. As the second voice joined in, completing the sentence from above, Corvus stiffened in the grasp of the spider. Ryan had reached for his blade, ready to cut the arms off of the creature, though thankfully, Indigo was faster in her movement, calling it off without any words. The bird just ruffled it's feathers back into place, muttering under it's breath. Relaxing slightly as the spider moved away, Ryan looked back at Indigo, letting his blade drop back into it's holder.
”Thank you for cooperating with my request. As a side note, you should be more interested in “My Reality” as you put it. If there are no more dreamers, what happens to the land made of dreams?” Ending the sentence with a yawn, Ryan took a few steps back from Indigo. ”If you'll excuse me, I'm starting to wake up.” Corvus felt the signs, taking off and flapping out of the window, before Ryan simply fell apart into a pile of silvery white feathers, which then melted into the floor. Only the ones still in the air remained.
Consciousness returning to his own body, he let out a small shudder at the seemingly cooler air in the bar. Something had changed since he had left, though he couldn't quite place what. Was it darker? It felt more oppressive than it had before. Shaking his head slightly, he decided to just leave it at that and have some more drink.

(( Eylios, you can probably just respond to whatever post happened last rather than all the questions I keep asking you. >.> ))
"Finally, some service," Martin thought, even though he did nothing to actually speed up service to himself. At least he was prudent enough to realize this and not state such things out loud. No need to be rude to the person serving you.
"Yeah, could I get a Jack and Coke?" Martin carefully avoided eye contact by fishing out his wallet from his pocket. The wallet got stuck in the pocket for a moment.
To avoid talking to the bartender, he asked Morgan what she wanted. "You want a soda? Or something a little stronger?" He grinned a bit; they had discovered not too long ago that neither of them were very good at holding their liquor. He felt he did a better job of it though.
As he asked that question at Morgan, he presented his wallet to the bartender. His id was visible through a plastic window.

As she walked the dog, shuffling along to accommodate is his slow gait, Odessa could just see in the window of the bar across the way. It was pretty dark but the light from a TV splashed across the faces of a few of the patrons. Odessa stopped for a minute and cocked her head to the side as she felt a strange sense of deja vu pass over her. Some of the faces seemed quite familiar, but she couldn't tell from where. She shook her head to herself and turned back around, waiting patiently for Hadley to catch up. They meandered back toward the house as Odessa was once again lost in her day dream beach.

♞▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬Ðarragh Ø'฿reian▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬♞ Working on his paperwork, Darragh didn't order a drink or anything. The bar just seemed like a place for him to work... Though there was another motive for him--not that he'd mention it. On occasion, he'd lift his gaze and glance sorrowfully at a patron or two, though it seemed like he was glancing at the Knights that were there, in particular, as well as the pair at the bar. A glance was given out the window, and he gazed out for a few moments, watching a girl and her dog wander past across the street...
He soon resumed his paperwork silently.

Angel quickly checked the man's ID and turned around to grab the materials he needed. He was slow to take orders, he could admit that, but damn it, he could make a drink like no ones business. Grabbing the bottle of Jack Daniels from the middle shelf, he poured about less than half a glass and placed the bottle back on the shelf. He turned quickly, dodging past the other waiters, and filled the remainder of the glass with coke-cola.
A minute later, Angel returned to the man sitting a the bar, and slid his drink to him. "There you go. Would she like anything?" He said, nodding over at the girl to his right.

~Mizu~ The Drowning Nightmare Whats wrong? You can't breathe? Mizu had been sitting in the corner of the bar watching the "Knights" for quite a while, then they ordered drinks, thats when he decided to be witty "Its not good to drink before bed you know... Gives you Nightmares...." he laughed in his corner and sipped his glass of water slowly. Waiting for them to respond Oh that's right, you're drowning. Have fun!

((Edited))
Her prey was tiring. Glo could tell because she got a nice flare of fear, sharp and so, so sweet. The chase had gone on for some time, going through numerous terrains. She wondered if her prey would ever get back to sleep after she was finished with him. The thought made her laugh, which came out as a bugeling roar, a sound that did not naturally emerge from the big cat she resembled. Sleek muscles, flowing smoothly under black as pitch fur as she leapt easily over a fallen tree. She could see the scuff marks where the dreamer had scrambled over the obstacle; the dead bark scraped off in a section. A long chase was always the best, the end reaped a much richer meal. She'd discovered that slowing down her prey at the beginning of the chase just wasn't as satisfying. She wanted them exhausted, distraught, and desperate before she began to drag at their speed. Before she made sure they knew that she was getting closer and closer.
Her earlier roar had given her another taste of her meal. She really must remember this individual, an exquisite taste this one had! She burst from the underbrush in time to see the dreamer, a young male in his prime, trip over uneven ground and go down. She roared again and relished as he whipped his head around, his eyes stretching so that she was surprised they didn't pop out of his head. He scrambled to his feet and took off again. The way was clear, a break in the trees. She could hear a river ahead; time to end this. She pulled at the dreamer, sucking at his speed, doing it drastically so that he'd feel it. Feel like he'd just run into a puddle of tar so that it pulled at his feet. She closed in on him quickly and just as she was leaping, he turned around. Oh, what an expression. Oh, what a scream!
A melodic, visceral sound, coming from his very being as she lunged and landed on him, knocking him to the ground and pinning him down. She then took delight in terrorizing him further by tearing his shirt to shreds. She supposed if this were the physical world, he'd have soiled himself by now. He was so scared she'd maul him, tear into the soft flesh of his back that he fed her even further, treating her to more screams. Satisfied, and done tearing apart his clothes, she flipped him over and pressed a large paw into his chest, letting her claws extend so that he could feel them pressing into his skin through the front of his shirt. He whimpered and she snarled, flashing fang and sucking up some more of his abject terror. It buffeted her in waves and she lapped it up greedily. And for the piece de resistance (sp), rearing back she unhinged her jaw and went for his throat. His last scream was more beautiful than the last and the surge of fear just before he disappeared was sweet, sweet satisfaction in her senses. It surged and rolled into her and she gulped it down until there was nothing but vestiges of it remaining and even those she finished off; licking the bowl, as it were. She'd collapsed to her side, letting the sublime effects of a good feeding wear off, reflecting on what had happened next to her dreamer. Glo imagined him jerking out of sleep in a cold sweat. She wondered had he screamed in real life as well.
Stretching languidly, Glo rolled to her feet with liquid grace and shook herself, pausing the groom her paw before padding away from the "kill" site. He had been her last meal and she was full and happy and wanted to find something to do. What to do, what to do...

((Right, I think I've waited long enough. Time to cause some havoc! Cobalt, you know what to do. >=3))
The Nightmare looked over to his side where the Fall had transported itself. It's long, gangly visage was a welcome sight in this decisive hour (figuratively, of course). The Nightmare smiled at his creation and let his hands fall to the arms of his throne. His voice was calm and soothing, like a father to his son. "My dear fear, the time has finally come to make our move. The barriers are faltering, and we must act. Go now, spread your influence and expand our reach." The Nightmare put a reassuring hand on his creation's beastly head, rubbing it back and forth like a pet. "I will see you again when the Knights have done their duty."
((Damn, short post is short. I was kinda hoping for more exposition, but I can't really find it. Oh well, a post is a post!))

Martin barely caught the glass as it slid towards him. It didn't spill, though. He held onto it just to be sure.
"There you go. Would she like anything?" the bartender asked. Martin shrugged. "She might. It's not like I can read her mind." He shot Morgan a smile, albeit breifly. Something about the place was making him nervous. "Was it this dark in here to begin with? And why do I get the feeling we're being watched?" It wasn't uncommon for his sister and him to be scrutinized by others, as they were twins. But as they got older, it happened less often.
And as if to confirm his fears of being watched, some guy in the corner spoke up. "Its not good to drink before bed you know... Gives you Nightmares...."
Martin barely turn to looked at the man out of the corner of his eye, his face unmoving as his thoughts churned. "Is... is that creepy guy talking to me? Does it really look like I'm not sleeping that well?" It was true that he must have be having nightmares he couldn't remember... but it had to be some weird coincidence that they were mentioned here, at the bar.
"Probably just some drunk," Martin concluded. He chose to ignore the remark and, perhaps in defiance, took a sip of his drink.

Just as the man caught his drink, Angel too looked up to the gentleman in the corner who had just spoken some very odd words. Odd because Ryan, Tivoli and himself were in the bar. This was no coincidence, Angel had been doing this long enough to know that. He looked at the other bartenders behind him, making sure everything was okay before he jumped from behind the bar.
He made his way to Ryan first, and leaned in close to him.
"Did you hear that guy behind you? Watch my back, I'm going to talk to him". Angel said, knocking on the wooden table Ryan sat at twice before walking away.
The man sat a few tables away, and he looked suspicious. Angel had seen movies. The weird guys always sat in the corner of joints like this. However, Angel would play it cool, and offer him a drink. Maybe this guy realy was just crazy, and nothing more. Hopefully Angel was overreacting to the situation. Angel found his way to the man, and spoke,
"Could I get you anything? No drinks, right?" He forced a laugh. "Because of nightmares and stuff."

~Mizu~ The Drowning Nightmare Whats wrong? You can't breathe? Mizu chuckled "I don't think I have to worry about nightmares. But if you insist I'll have water." Mizu looked up at the man Angel as he said this "You think I'm some crazy kook don't you?" Mizu laughed "I wouldn't blame you, funny man in a corner, saying weird crap. Kinda odd" Mizu finished the glass of water he had been drinking completely Oh that's right, you're drowning. Have fun!

♞▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬₭night Øf ₲rief▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬♞ Ønce a ₭night... Ⱥlways a ₭night. Ønce a ₦ightmare... Ⱥlways a ₦ightmare.
♞▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬Ðarragh Ø'฿reian▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬♞ A head was lifted as the Nightmare in the corner spoke to those in the bar. Even in the Waking World, he knew well enough how to tell Knight from normal person, and Nightmare from anything else. He took in a breath and let it out slowly, leaning back in his chair. Watching one of the Knights head for the Nightmare, he decided to watch this time.
Sorrowed eyes followed the Knight as he approached the Nightmare, and he listened in on their conversation, as he was only a couple of tables away. Because of so much Nightmare activity nearby, the feeling of loss spread further from him like a sick cologne. He felt his eyes beginning to water, and he paused with a sniffle, moving to wipe at tears. He was soon putting his work back in his bag, pulling out a tissue.
They were gone... Why was he even there? There was no reason to be... Sadness struck him further, nearly suddenly, and the shadow of a Roc developed near him, leaning over as if crying with him. She was visible in Ethera, completely, with feathers of darkness, pits for eyes, and permanent tear trails of blood running down her feathered cheeks. She made a haunting call, a cry of pain and grief, and the Knights could probably hear it distantly, if they were listening well enough.
(( Thought I'd put something in if anyone needs something to pay attention to... And it develops more of his Nightmare side >>;; ))
