The highfive was happily received, not even minding one bit that he was calling her Tabby Rogers. He could call her Oprah and she'd be okay with it. Though she hoped he wouldn't call her Oprah at any point. Maybe next time, sorry. "I'd love to join you! Tonight's about having lots of fun and dancing, right?" It was prom, but prom was just a really fancy dance party! That's why they hired a DJ to play music! And the food was clearly just so they'd have energy to dance all night long. She stepped back as he started to dance just to give him enough room to do so, laughing warmheartedly and instinctively looking over to wave at whoever it was that Bo was waving at. Thankfully this did not stop her from seeing the new move to add to the list of what would now be called The Bo.

No matter how badly he danced she would enjoy it. She watched as he danced around her, a huge grin on her face while she tried to mimic what he was doing. She had no fears! This was great! "Alright!" Lead the way, pretty Bo~. Tabitha looked to see what he was doing, shamelessly dancing along and copying him. This was by no means fitting to the music that was playing, but what did she care? She'd been here five minutes and she was enjoying herself with her new friend. She put a hand on her hip, raising and lowing the other hand with her pointer finger extended to add a little pizazz to her dance. They did it on TV, it was a legit dance move, right?

((not sure if I can attend if I am not on the list in the front page..))

Ariel decided after some hours she will come to the prom, she was alone so she was not really sure if she would come but well it was a time to enjoy her student life too.
Because it was a last moment decision she borrowed a dress from her mother. She really spent too much time with school and didn't had time to go shopping for a dress sadly.
She tried to put her hair up in something nice but it was still really long.

She entered the prom place, it was already full, she looked arround to see if there was someone she knew

exclaim As students, faculty and dates piled in, the ballroom became increasingly lively. The amplifiers were tuned up to be heard over the chitter-chatter that spread throughout the room, as Justin Bieber and the cast of Glee performed their musical hits as many of the attendees flocked to the dance floor.

Meanwhile the security guards split their attention on the front door - and keeping a close eye on the rest of the students to avoid any violence. However, as their attention was split, a group of students - a group of Hillworth boys, no doubt - managed to spike the punch bowls with an assortment of alcohols.

Ariel didn't see anyone she knew at first glance but she was totally surprised to see that Justin Bieber managed to come for their prom, and with the cast of Glee !!!
She was not really watching the serie but between books she heard a lot about it. She started walking closer to the scene to see them better. But when she saw the table with drinks she decided to go take one because it was pretty hot and she would like something fresh, the punch looked good with all the fruits.
But because she wore white gloves she guessed it may not be a good idea to drink something "dangerous" if she splitted it, so she goes for apple juice.
Then she walked back toward the mini concert.

At some point Kaia had gotten separated from her date and although she was sure that, once upon a time, she had been extremely familiar with a majority of the people milling around her, that most certainly was not the case anymore. Her civilian life was a joke at best and her being here was really only for Chase, not because she knew anyone and certainly not because she knew anyone else here.

Thus, left alone while her boyfriend went to grab them some punch or figure out some other minute detail that Kaia had already forgotten in her nervous awkwardness, she was trying to sink into the shifting shadows around the edge of the dance floor. As was her habit when she was nervous, her hands were laced together behind her back and her bottom lip was caught between her teeth.

She wasn't sure how to act at prom without Chase there to hold her hand through it and she knew so few civilians, even if she knew quite a few Negaverse soldiers. She was sure they were out there somewhere but a confident as she was facing a battlefield of senshi head on, it all vanished at the sight of a huge room full of strange teenagers.

Thankfully, Xavier had gotten to the punch before any alcoholic mischief happened, and was back to his girlfriend's side with a flash, handing her one of the small cups he was holding before sitting and taking a sip. Fruit punch, not super amazing, but nothing too horrible, either.

Talking about horrible, through... "Did it have to be Bieber ? Really ?" Did he need to step up and show this place was real music was ?

Too bad Bell would probably be against him spending prom mixing music. Alas, he would need to endure the horrible noise. He reached out his hands, lacing his fingers with her own.

"Looks like people are starting to come in..."

Goosebumps danced up Eilian's arm in the warm room as fingertips brushed her skin, twisting the bracelet around her wrist easily. "It's lovely, thank you so much. I think it's absolutely perfect but you knew that." Very lightly Eilian's hand clasped Fallon's, remembering always the rules for touching and pulled her away from the milling crowd. Everybody would start brushing and crowding soon and that was the last thing either of them wanted. "Lets get a seat and I'll get you something to drink."

At least until she could find some way to convince her date to dance. It was a must!

----

In the milling crowd trying to get in the door was Daphne Xanis, arms wrapped around the arm of her handsome and charming husband. She said that word mentally to herself about ten times a day at least and every time it happened she absolutely beamed with happiness. She'd given up everything to make this happen -- why shouldn't it make her beyond ecstatic? There was even a place to take pictures and it was over towards that are that the bluenette dragged her partner.

It was also where she almost ran smack into Aree Cadence. Eyes widened a bit and without saying a word the pulling stopped and she was pushing back the way we came. "Ahhh well I guess it's a little crowded over this way. Hey did you wanna dance? Or maybe we should find a table!" Eyes were bright and the word was forced through as she looked up into his blue eyes. Husband. The smile bloomed and arms wrapped around his waist.

"Thanks for taking me. You know how much these normal things mean to me." It was true. Nothing meant more to Daphne than being as normal as a girl could possibly be at her age. Especially now. A look was thrown back over her shoulder with a flicker. They couldn't face each other now, the tall woman wouldn't know her as anything but a stranger. It was a pity.

----

Blake Allison, in general, felt much about prom the same way Fallon did. He would have been offering her a casual fist for bumping if he knew her and if he did he would have realized this was probably a bad idea. It wasn't that he objected to seeing Vicky in the pretty, very tiny, dress she had on. That wasn't the point. The point was he was committed to spending money so that they could go hang out in a room full of people like chaperones. No alcohol. He couldn't even put his hands up her dress because there were kids present.

What sort of party was that?

Yeah he knew what everyone, including Vicky, would and had said. He was a total douchebag who didn't think past the end of his...well yeah. Whatever. But the blue-eyed lady who held him rather captivated these days, much to his dismay, had been firm. He would take her to prom or she would stop being so very accommodating. She'd been a bit more volatile since her cousin up and disappeared one day and he was trying to be understanding.

So it was that Blake was wearing a suit, and a tie, and had even rented a rather nice black sedan to chauffeur them from her tiny little comfortable home to the place where the cozy prom was being held. And cozy it was. It was bringing back all those bad memories of when he was young enough to give a damn about prom and the date he'd had.

What was her name again? All he remembered was that she was rather dull, all things considered, despite being rather hot.

"Well Vicks. Doing good enough so far?" His grin was indolent. Yeah. Blake Allison was a grade-A a*****e alright.

Bell also had to facepalm at the selection of music. Not to mention, Glee? Really? The theatre geek in Bell bristled. Over-rated, the both of them. Not that she watched much TV, but shows like that were precisely the reason why she didn't.

"Whoever was in charge of the music really ought to be shot. Or given a boot to the head. After all, it isn't exactly what I would call prom music at all. And I didn't sign up to come to a concert of fail, either..." If there was one thing about Bell, she wasn't afraid to voice her opinion. Then again, maybe whoever had chosen the music had intended for it to be made of epic fail.

"At least the company is good, though," she said, squeezing his hand lightly. "Yeah. Maybe the chatter will drown out the other...stuff polluting the air," there was a grin there.

User Image - Blocked by "Display Image" Settings. Click to show.Vicky was excited, she was nearly buzzing with the emotion. Back in Courtland dances had been held in the school gym and had been decorated with crate paper and streamers. The glitz and glam of Destiny City still overwhelmed her sometimes. Tonight she was letting it, it was easier to forget about what had happened to Audrey. She had stopped crying herself to sleep at night, but she still missed her cousin desperately. She knew that she was still around as Lina, but she couldn't bring herself to seek the Knight out.

Tonight she did her best to not think about it, instead she slipped her arm through Blake's pressing close to him. The ballroom looked amazing, but more importantly she and Blake were the hottest couple in the room. Turning towards him she gave him a good once over, reaching up to adjust his boutonniere. His words made her laugh and she grinned up at him. "Yeah, you're doin' great, babe." And he was, Vicky knew Blake wasn't much into things like prom, but he had gone out of his way to make it a nice night for her. Of course, he still hadn't asked her out officially, but she tried not to dwell on that. "And you look super hot." Leaning up slightly she pressed her lips against his, but the kiss was kept light not wanting to mess up her make up.

Pulling away she moved back to his side, sapphire eyes looking around the room. She didn't even know where to start there was so much to do. Drinks? Dancing? Photos? She was just a country girl dressed up in stolen jewelry and a pretty dress.

Serah didn't have a date when she entered the large ballroom. One hand self-consciously tucked a strand of hair back behind her ear.. it was one of the rare times, one would find her hair in something else that wasn't a side ponytail. Perhaps, a first, for anybody else who knew her. Her hair was loose, curled to one side, artfully arranged so her scarf's ribbon was on the other.

Serah was easily lost in the crowd with her short stature and white dress, backing up to a wall. Along the length of the wall, she could recognize some poeple she saw in passing from Jada's prom and Halloween's dance party. With an uncomfortable sigh, Serah's brown eyes searched for a male that she had hoped that might come to this party .. But her hopes were dashed by her expectations-- of course he wasn't here. Was that Kaia she spotted over there? Serah gave her a small wave, althoughit was doubtful on whether it caught her attention or not with the multitude of people milling through them.

User Image Lily walked into the prom wrapped in gold and lace, not typically a color she wore, but she thought her sister who had spent the prior day convincing her to come had done very well picking the perfect dress for her.

She shivered rubbing her bare arm and feeling self-conscience. She did not have to wear the sling today and the bruised that were still healing could not be seen about her mid-drift so she tried desperately not to think about it.

Taking a deep breath she strolled in wanting to enjoy the night and not to think about anything but having a good time. In the past two weeks not many had seen her, she kept her circle tightly closed. It had been limited to hospital visits and an outing with Sam. She could count on two hands how many had seen her, so she had some catching up to do.

Lily continued with a shake of her head.

She grinned and went into the crowd looking for a familiar face, but stopped when she spotted Justin Beiber and frowned. No, she did not think he was terrible, in fact she loved his song pray, but Lily did think she could sing circles around him and she wasn't one to brag her talent. One day it would be her who had fans screaming for her at concerts and events.

Glee. Justin Bieber. Fancy lights.

"Oh, Ian, look!" Vanessa's voice was an excited whisper in her date's ear. She gestured around the room, golden eyes shining wide with awe.

Dresses. Dancing. And a buffet!

"It's so… It's so…"

When it came to big words, Vanessa's repertoire was noticeably lacking. She struggled for a moment, forehead wrinkling a little with concentration, and then declared;

"It's so magical!"

She was reminded distinctly of Jada's debut, where everyone was dressed up much the same as they were now. Parts of that night had been exceptional too. Vanessa would never forget it. But prom--

Well, prom had Justin Bieber. And holy s**t did Vanessa adore Justin Bieber. His lyrics weren't bad a** and that haircut made him look like a girl, but Vanessa didn't care about those things. Vanessa liked him because he was just a kid, the same as she was, and he had made it to the big leagues.

There was everything to admire in that.

The skirt of her dress fluttered around her thighs, accenting the length of her legs in an attractive sort of way. It was shorter than Mr. Rae approved of. They'd fought over it.

But.

In the end, when Vanessa came out of her room all dolled up in her little green flats, Mr. Rae had only a protective hug for his daughter and a suspicious handshake for Ian.

Poor Ian. Vanessa had not thought to ask if he even wanted to attend prom before she'd forced herself on him, with all the best intentions in the world. This was a date. It was prom. They were going to have fun.

Gigi wasn't sure how it had happened, but the gaggle of friends she'd convinced to go 'stag' with her had somehow paired themselves up, leaving her on the edges of the group photographs. Maybe it had happened while she was wrangling the limo - the boys had totally dropped the ball on arranging it, so she'd taken over. Or maybe when she was checking the driver knew the way, or when she stopped to buy an emergency pack of chocolate coffee-beans for her purse. But that was okay, it didn't matter. This was prom. They were here.

With the stars twinkling above her, Gigi adjusted her little yellow dress and followed the crowd towards the dancefloor, looking around in awe at all the amazing outfits the other girls had chosen. It was like something out of a movie. And then, over the heads of the dancers, she caught sight of the stage.

"Omigod! Is that really Justin Bieber?"

Leaning on the edge of the stage in adoration just became the fifteen-year-old's top priority.

To be honest, realizing that Rosa’s father was driving them to prom disappointed Sydney a bit. It wasn’t that the sight of an adult driving her and her best friend to the prom embarrassed, it was the fact that she couldn’t be the one to drive the Chevy. Sydney knew how to drive, and even better—she had her driver’s license for almost a year, now! That meant she could drive her friends around without breaking the law—probably—and the fact that she’d managed to avoid disastrous vehicle accidents was a miracle in itself. Clearly, this warranted her permission to drive Rosa to the prom, right?

Apparently not. Oh well. She stared out the window, idly bobbing her head back and forth to the tune of ‘Friday,’ which for some reason had lovingly ingrained itself in her brain since early morning. Sydney felt Rosa excitedly nudge her as the car rolled up in front of the hotel.

She couldn’t suppress an eager grin as she slid out of the car and stretched out a hand to help out Rosa. “To be honest, I don’t think his music is that. Lately, it’s the number one tool to grate people’s nerves. Quite useful. Really.” Sydney smirked and tugged her towards the table of snacks. She was hungry.

With a faint look of trepidation, Bebe stepped through the door into the dimly lit, glowing hall. Her initial fears were reinforced by the music blasting throughout the hall. Some awful trashy pop, the kind that was always being recycled on the radio. Decidedly awful in every aspect.

Wincing slightly, she paused, then stepped forward again. It was no use, you had to be strong about these kinds of things. You can't just drop an social engagement as you walk in through the door. A true lady kept her bearing in all kinds of company and situations. And at the very least, she had reliably interesting company. It was amazing what kind of company you could find on a simple outing. Her dress rustled as she turned and smiled back at the girl behind her, tilting her head towards the crowds and the music.

"Well! It looks like there's quite a crowd gathered already. I do hope we're not late for the festivities. Are you feeling up to a little social mixing?"
