My Minipets Name: randonimity Feedback: You guys are amazing and awesome and the amount of sheer effort and detail you guys put into the Meta is just mind blowing and I could really feel the love you have for the shop and for the people in it. Thank you guys so much for an enjoyable event.
Part One A: The Boat Ride - I have and always will love situations where people who ooc-lly don't play with each other end up having to RP with each other. More situations like this please? :3 - Maybe when games or prompts like these are posted an ooc-explanation/note including a time-limit could help with the GM not being available? Like:
--------
NPC Sexy says "Hey, snots, do a, b, or c or else." NPC Sexy struts over to flirt with Captain Hawt who was standing near the bow of the ship, not really paying attention to the students. Or IS he?
ooc: Roll a dice to determine if you do A, B, or C. If a, X happens. If b, Y happens. If c, Z happens. If after W hours, and you don't post, QQ happens to you.
--------
- Maybe to address the activity issue, when people post for sign ups also include a "Time I am usually/most likely to be active" section?
Part One B: The Island - One-active-thread only rule. Please as to be keeping this FOREVER, Y/Y? - I also love the "IT IS FOGGY. YOU GET HELLA LOST!" excuse to explain ic-absences and why your character ic-lly has no ******** clue what happened with the group they were with. - While not a "rule", I really appreciated it when people would put character names/descriptions in Bold when talking to or referring to someone. Be it in dialog or narration, it helped keep track of who was talking to whom on an ooc-level given sometimes up to ten people were posting in one thread. - The insanity post was fun for the first ooc-day. After that it just felt like things were dragging unnecessarily long. Maybe shorten the time it ooc-lly took for location transitions next time? - MOAR CYOA events? :3 - We were told there'd be a 12-hour time limit and then it extended to 15 hours then to 24 hours. And then the solve-this-puzzle-without-any-ic-clue-how made things drag on even longer. So when the final boss stage happened, I thought it would last at least a day ooc-lly but then it got wrapped up in a matter of hours and I'm like: "WAIT WHAT JUST HAPPENED?! I HAVEN'T RESPONDED TO THE FIRST PROMPT YET! SLOW DOWN! WHADDYA MEANT META IS DONE?!?!? DDDDDD8" Possibly stick closer to the stated timetables/be more consistent with them so that the wrapping up doesn't feel so rushed?
Part Two: - The PVP portion was handled more with whether or not a player was around rather than for ic-reasons because who would want to get stuck in a battle with someone who would only post maybe once every day and a half? Maybe give a more urgent/instantaneous reason for them to attack? - I remember seeing Rosie's character being used for GM purposes when her character died, so more opportunities like that would make having your character die early not seem so bad? I think the reason people didn't want to attack was because they didn't want to risk not being allowed to do anything because they were "eliminated" from the game so early. - The random-item-generator was also a pleasant change to the usual "PICK YO WEAPON!" I would have picked the nunchucks but having Beta Four end up with a handgun was just comedy gold (Hairpin triggers, I love you for existing.) - Location-wide events would be appreciated because there was a moment it ended up every location except the Lighthouse area had an event. Could there also be like generic prompts for people RPing in places where no GM-run game was happening? Like "When you get to this place, you can RP out any of the following scenarios" or something like it?
- ILU staff and everyone who RP'ed with me. You're all fantastic and lovely

My Minipets Name: Rosie Feedback: My overall opinion of the event is awesome. All the work you guys put in to make it come together is just mind boggling and the result is inspiring, this is defiantly one of the best events I've ever been in.
Most of the things I could say for improving have already been mentioned, like letting us sign up OOCly for something and only exiting to the event when it starts. There was also during the first part of the event when it became CYA at lighthouse, the way it was run was great and fun but up until then my character had been dragging around another because ICly she'd never leave them behind and OOCly the player was surprising busy but the CYA rules meant I had to ditch her character which was, hard to ICly rationalize. But apart from that all was good!
I'd also like to mention again how glad I was to be given the opportunity in part two to help with the plot point with Joslin, it was really fun and gave me an idea of some of the stuff you guys do when I was told to go attack people. I'd definatly say YES to more opportunities like that in future events.

My Minipets Name: poke mattix Feedback: Holyshit crit Can I say…holy s**t you guys worked your ASSES OFF for this one? I mean planning an event is one thing, but planning an event for so many people at once for week and weeks on end and trying to ORGANIZE it all let alone GM it and everything? It was nuts, and it makes me really happy to see you guys put some much effort into this shop, it’s awesome and I’m really, really, really thankful for all the work you guys do. Okay let’s see if I can add anything to what’s been said so far.
Part one -boat ride: I liked the boat ride, it was at a fairly good pace and we had about..2 GM’s for it? BD; HOWS AREL DOIN so we got a few chances for games and the like.
– Island If I had to choose between the chirstmastown rp and this one, I’d have to choose this. While I loved the Christmas town one and It had a few more battles, the island one had so much more DEPTH to it. The plotline was well thought out; it was dark, intense, and it allowed us to develop our characters in many interesting ways by using the evilness of this place to creature horrors for our characters to experience. It allowed them to band together and to interact more compared to the previous meta (although that may be due to the fact we have had more time to develop existing relationships between other characters BUT I DIGRESS). And the tragedies that happened or could happen made things so much more exiting. I spent half my time at work wondering WHOLYSHITWILLSUCHANDSUCHSURVIVE and I came home happy to read up on the latest developments.
Part 2 Okay…I don’t mean this in any offensive way, and I know you guys have worked so hard to pull off this event but to be honest, I didn’t really enjoy the 2nd part of the event. I still loved the idea behind the event and the whole battle royale style, but for me I found it very hard to really get interested, and along the way I become quite frustrated with trying to get my character involved.
I think my greatest annoyance with part two was the travel threads. They made it increasingly hard to move to other areas. I understand it was probably to keep from 50 or so players flooding to one particular area and to keep things even, but for me I ended up waiting for a day to move my character into another section to join an event, but by the time I was allowed to post it had already started, and ANOTHER event had started in my characters original location so I had to wait another day while I moved him back.
Once I was able to jump into a game, it was a really cool game as well and I enjoyed it, but at times I became frustrated because my character was outed very early on, and I had to wait around a week before I was able to exit the game and then join in other ones. Now At the end of the game I found out why and I was quite amazed by this, it was a really awesome twist, but it was a long time in waiting as well. I also realized that by this time some of the other players I could have roleplayed with had already died out, so I found there wasn’t as many people to join up with.
To cut a long story short, I spent a lot of this event trying to get my character to places where everyone else was roleplaying and doing awesome stuff, and ended up having to spend the majority of the event waiting for things to happen before I could act, and therefore missing out on things.
OKAY NOW LESS QQ MORE PEW PEW SOME SUGGESTUONS KK
- perhaps in future events we could cut back on the time needed for our characters to ‘move’ to other locations? I would love it if there was a way that we didn’t have to wait, but I know that the GM’s can’t deal with 50+ people in one go so I understand why we do need them. - I noticed that in both events, once your character had died, you couldn’t really participate in anything else. If there are more instances of characters needing to die, maybe there could be a separate plotline for all the dead guys so that they still had a way to participate?
