Corvus sighed, moving to lay on his back. How was he turned human? Even he wasn't so sure of that, himself. "I was in the fire, burning… I did feel death, and I think I did end up dead at some point. I woke up covered in black straps ,but as a man. I really don't remember anything or anyone coming to me. No angels, or witches, not even demons…" He said truthfully. "I was just human with the mind of a crow.. I couldn't talk well, but I learned. Being around humans I understood quite a bit. I wasn't found by anyone, either. I was under the soot and rotted wood. It looked like it had been weeks after the fire, to be honest." The smell of the wood was old, he remembered. "I just wandered the town, a old family with a very young son brought me in for a few days. I left them and just moved on. I wanted to turn into a crow again, just once, and with that, I did." The first time he was engulfed by feathers was strange to him, like he was growing them from a chick all over again in a speedy fashion.

"I wish I knew how. To be honest… sometimes I wonder if I really was a crow, and not a human wanting to be one." Crow thought about it himself. He just woke up, under the burnt wood that was only partially cleared out. He wondered himself how no one was there to claim him or even bury him if he was already a human for so long. But he supposed he would rather not find out. "I was given some magic, too, which is why I think I'm more crow than human… But who knows. I might be a warlock for all I know." It made sense, he supposed. His transformation and phasing through the walls. He could even feel death and prevent it for others. He saved Ludovich, after all, with magic. But a crow was just as magical, or at least used to be. The crows now, he noticed, have forgotten their ways.

Ludovich~Arneson

It takes two to murder

Ludovich listened carefully to Corvus' explanation and looked a bit puzzled. So, the other didn't know either? Ludovich searched his gaze to make sure that he wasn't lying and found nothing that hint that he was. Well, that was strange. He had expected Corvus to know, but it seemed like they were both in the dark about things. Now it would seemed as though he wouldn't be able to figure out what had happened until the other did. The thought of that bugged him some, but was temporarily forgotten as a yawn escaped his lips. At this, his eyes trailed over to the clock. It was already eight o'clock. Ludovich frowned some at this. Had they really spent that much time talking? He swore it had only been a few hours or so, but then again, he had taken a nap.

Ludovich carefully lifted himself from his seat and then looked over to Corvus. "Do you need to sleep," he asked the other curiously as he started heading over to the steps. If so, he would need to find a place for him to sleep. Ludovich thought that couch would work, but knew he would feel bad if he made him lay on that piece of junk. After all, the man had saved his life and to reward him by allowing him to sleep on his couch was truly no reward at all. That thing was bumpy as all heck.

((If you want to do a quick paragraph post I can go ahead and time skip for us))

Corvus looked up at Ludovich, almost startled by the sudden yawn. He smiled with a light chuckle. The crow sat up to let Ludovich make his way to the stairs and pondered his question. "Well, no, I don't need it.. But it's sometimes nice to have a nap." He told the other. "I can sleep sitting straight up and it wouldn't bother me, too." On that note, he sat up and hugged his knees again, resting his head in them while looking at the other as best he could. If they were to be mates, he supposed he could go upstairs to watch over the other. With said thought, he stood from his spot and headed toward the stairs himself. He gave a chaste peck to Ludovich's cheek. "I'm staying here." He said firmly. As a quick excuse he added, "I don't want you to go out on your own or get into trouble for a while."

Heading back to his perch, Corvus curled up again, shifting his back and shoulders to get comfortable. Once he was, he hid his face. First glance, one might think he could be crying, but he closed his eyes. It helped pass the time. It would help even further if he could just wait out the time Ludovich would be asleep. If he didn't think the clouds would be thick, he would just go outside and scout the stars. He could hear the rolling thunder coming closer, and with a loud clap, he shot up from his perch, hopping to Ludovich's side. The sounds frightened him more than the lightning itself. "Could I stay with you?" He asked quickly, waiting for the next booming sound to roll in.

Ludovich~Arneson

It takes two to murder

Ludovich listened to his explanation and nodded some. Ludovich had guessed that that might be the case, but only because the other had seemingly managed to stay up the entire night after his accident. A smile graced his lips at the thought and he watched Corvus carefully as he moved towards him. As the other's black lips pressed against his cheek, a light tint of pink appeared on his cheeks. A nod was given to the male as he told him he'd stay here. Ludovich then quietly headed up to bed.

Once upstairs, he quickly changed into pahamas and curled up under his covers. As he lay there, he quietly listened to the sounds of the storm outside. Rain fell heavy onto his roof and a few thunder claps could be heard. The noises eased Ludovich's mind quite a bit and helped him ease to sleep. He slept peacefully on his bed for awhile before suddenly hearing a voice. His head turned at this and he saw Corvus standing there. Ludovich stared at him for awhile, as if processing what he had questioned before nodding some. Shortly after, he felt back into a peaceful sleep.

Crow smiled shyly and came up behind Ludovich, curling up beside him. He'd just wait out the rain here, beside the other man. He let his wings out and draped them over Ludovich, watching him sleep like he had in the alley. He felt like he had to protect the man from everything and just relaxed, ignoring the rolling claps of thunder and the hard hitting rain. He closed his eyes to shield from the lightning but ended up falling asleep, staying like this until the morning.

Staying with Ludovich and making sure he wouldn't hurt himself again, Corvus kept close by for the couple of weeks. If the man needed to leave the house, Crow would stalk him in the sky or on the roof tops. He couldn't stop the man from doing his job, especially with the factor of survival, but he did his best to make sure nothing bad would happen. It was fascinating to watch Ludovich work. Not a single drop of blood left behind, or a trace of his existence except the corpses he created and left behind. He was often worried and nagged a few times. He insisted on changing Ludovich's bandages himself until he was completely healed. He knew a scar would be left for a while, if not permanently. It made him worry but he never really voiced it. The fey was glad he had saved the man's life. He was entertaining, even if the other didn't think so himself. He would steal small kisses from the other constantly, often without much meaning except his dominance complex, hardly thinking twice when Ludovich would turn a tint of pink.

Corvus would frequently share his knowledge of the stories in the stars, fascinated by each one. He couldn't wait until full moon to show Ludovich the characters of these stories. Draco and Pegasus, Capricornus and so many others he couldn't share in one story alone. He secretly hoped the stars would show Corvus, the creature he was kindly named after. The bird may had been punished in the stars, but Crow felt honored nonetheless to be named after a god's loyal pet.

During an afternoon, Crow sat outside. He was able to get himself an eyepatch for the blazing sun in his white eye and was able to just sit without feeling the burn. But there was one thing that bothered him; his skin was coloured, no longer ghostly white. He told himself it was the sun's doing, but couldn't convince himself it really was. Running his fingers through his hair, a few feathers would be found in his palm. He wondered if he was molting, or at least used it as an excuse. He had enough of the outside and the sun against his sensitive skin. He had been using the door more often than just fading through walls. He hardly left the house at all except to go after Ludovich whenever he would go out on his own. It wasn't a lack of trust, but more a lack of hope for the man to come back safely.

"Ludovich…" He called, as he came in, announcing he was re-entering. He found his way to the couch, curling up in a corner, shifting his body as he usually did to get comfortable before laying on his side. It was much more comfortable than the shingles on rooftop. He sat there, closing his eyes, cooling off from the hot sun's heat that had soaked into his layers of black. He started to sweat but wiped his brow, but it felt as if the heat just wouldn't leave him. He rubbed his face in his arm to rid the forming wetness but it wouldn't stop. He was getting annoyed by it. Why wouldn't it stop? He sat up, feeling exhausted without even doing anything. He couldn't be sick, it was out of the question. He's never gotten sick, it was a part of the immortality! He huffed and laid back on his side, irritated at the sun for giving him these hot flashes.

"Ludovich, do you have cold air?" He asked quietly. He rubbed his arms and then his neck, curling up into a loose ball, his long limbs awkward looking.

Ludovich~Arneson

It takes two to murder

Ludovich sat around impatiently for a few days before finally slipping out of his house one afternoon to continue his work. Quite a few orders had piled up on his off days and he wished to do them all, but he knew better than to do so. After all, to do so would just gain him a disapproving look from the other and would likely cause him to wear himself out. He thus did so more slowly than he previously would have and took more care when murdering. Ludovich was more cautious to approach a hit and more careful ad to how he killed his victim than usual. It was to avoid getting hurt again before the next full moon came about.

Ludovich continued in this extremely cautious and slow mode for a good week before slowly going back to his normal ways. He took as many jobs as he wished and was unafraid to approach a person while they were aware of him. In fact, he even dared to kill some after having a short conversation one day. It had worried Corvus quite a bit and he had been given quite the talking to. After all, it had been one of the more risky things that he had done in front of the man.

Speaking of Corvus, Ludovich got to know him quite a bit better over the next couple of weeks. He could tell what sort of acts at a crime scene would worry him and what wouldn't. He also got to learn how fascinated the other was with the stars. The man would often tell him stories about them and such. The way he seemed to zone when talking about them always managed to make him smile. He always seemed so fascinated when he did so and he got a certain glow in his eyes. It was a wonderful thing to see really, considering that Ludovich hadn't really seen anyone look like that in years.Ludovich also started to notice that the other was starting to look alittle more...human. His skin had gained color and the feathers from his hair were slowly disappearing. It was strange really to see him like that, but it made him smile a bit. After all, the color looked nice on him.

"Ludovich," he heard the other call before peering his head into the living room. "Yeah," he questioned before waiting for a reply. Cold air? What did he mean by... Oh! Air Conditioning! "Yes, I have air conditioning. We can only have it on for a little while though because I don't have enough money for it to stay on for a long time," he stated before carefully moving over to the dial on the wall. He adjusted it carefully to a cooler temperature before smiling. Ludovich then looked over to the other. "You know, I could get you some cooler clothes if you'd like."

Air conitioning? Complex names these humans give to such simple things… Corvus sighed, feeling the air, but it didn't seem to help him much. A strange throaty sound left him, which was mean to sound birdlike but didn't quite succeed. He sighed, kicking the air in a small tantrum. The other suggested clothes for him, but Crow declined with a shake of his head. No, it wouldn't help… Feathers are a part of my skin, like hair. These belts are my feathers in a way…" Although, they didn't quite feel the way they usually did. The black bird kept still before squirming, his knees rubbing together. He felt very flush and it wasn't going away. He wanted to take his mind off the heat. Sitting up, he brushed his hair with his hands and pulled out the remaining feathers. It was strange, not seeing any grow back at all. He should have molted as a chick already.

"I think I'll go find a cool pond…" He told the other, getting up off the couch and heading towards the door. He climbed to the roof and crawled to the edge, ready for takeoff. His wings wouldn't come at all. What was wrong? Maybe if he just… With a short leap, he sunk to the ground, not getting a single feather out of his body. With a deep thud to the ground, Corvus cried out in pain. Writhing, he curled up a bit, irritated that he fell, more so that it hurt so much. Sure he felt pain before, but this was just ridiculous! Kicking his feet, he managed to stand up, holding his sides as he stumbled back into the door, not making it to the couch before he sunk to his knees. He touched his forehead to the ground, clutching his sides. He shouldn't have fallen, at the very least he was supposed to jump a far distance!

Fiddling with a belt around his arm, he unlatched it and threw it to the side. They were supposed to be attached, and become feathers! He unlatched others, layer after layer they just came off his arms. He was bare up to his elbows before he finally stopped. Standing up slowly, he leaned on the door behind him. He could tell he was becoming human again, and at such an alarming rate. Was it the moon that night or something else completely? "Ludovich… Something's wrong. I can't fly at all." He hadn't flown the day before, only because he didn't need to. Climbing was much easier that going through the trouble of having to hide giant wings. He noticed, though, it had been becoming a hassle to concentrate to become a crow. "I can't fly…" He repeated, shocked at himself.

"Maybe I did something wrong." Crow said to himself, wanting to believe it but in the back of his mind he knew that wasn't the case.

Ludovich~Arneson

It takes two to murder

Ludovich nodded some at his comment and just sighed. "Well then, that's really all I can do to help you," he stated simply before hearing the other speak about going to find a pond. "Alright. I'll see you when you get back," he said simply before resuming his cooking in the next room. Ludovich stood there, just enjoying the silence for awhile before hearing a loud thump and a cry of pain outside. A frown formed softly on his lips at the sound and he carefully grabbed a knife before heading over to the door. He was not going to allow someone to sneak up on him while he was in his own home. Ludovich, thus, just listened carefully and slowly moved forward. It was then that he spotted Corvus laying on the ground. At this, he set the knife down and walked over to the other, seeming concerned. "What happened," he questioned with a worried expression on his features.

The young man listened as the other explained and seemed even more concerned. What did he mean he couldn't fly. Had he broke a wing or was it something else? It was then that he spotted some of the belts on the ground. He picked one of them up ever so carefully before looking back to the other. Hadn't he just said that they were supposed to come of just moments ago. Ludovich bit his lip some at the thought and moved over to Corvus. "I'm sure it'll fix itself soon enough," Ludovich said, as to comfort the other. He then carefully offered his hand to him and looked down to him. "I wouldn't worry about it so much. After all, if you could wish to become a crow once before, you will surely be able to again. Perhaps it's just the heat messing with you," he said carefully as he looked to him.

Soon after stating this, the buzzing of a timer could be heard in the next room, signifying that the food was done. "How about we just eat right now and worry about this tomorrow, after we've seen the stars," he said, hoping that getting the other on a new topic would make that lost look on his face to disappear," I made sure not to take any hits that needed to be finished by tonight and the moon is going to be full, so you can point out all the constellations for me."

Crow had fallen into a foul mood, upset at this heat and the fact he could no longer fly. He did lighten a little, seeing Ludovich come by him with concern. He sighed, taking the belts in his hands. "I guess, they really can come off then…" He said aloud. Wondering now, he unhinged those around his chest, hissing slightly. He was sure he bruised something terribly. The belts just slid off in layers and soon his stomach was mostly bare. Corvus looked up, confused. He took the man's hand and pulled himself up, scooping up the belts from the floor. He looked at them in his arms with disdain and heard Ludovich comments about his ability before. "I hope you're right…" He said with a nod.

Crow's eyes gleamed at the change of subject. "At this time of the year, we might even be able to find the first Corvus." Crow was fairly excited, smiling and forgetting about his dilemma momentarily. Ludovich had even promised not to take any jobs until after the night. It made him very happy the other could be so kind. Or perhaps, he hadn't really given humans much credit. The sound of the timer was odd, and had nearly startled him. He would have to get used to these sounds.

Being in this man's home was much different than the rooftops around the city. Before walking past the other to his usual perch, he kissed the man's cheek but this time with sincerity rather than his usual complex for dominance. Looking at them while Ludovich prepared the rest of their food, he thought to himself. In all honesty, he hadn't really been thinking about becoming a crow for a while. The thought of it was escaping him. Picking one up, he realized he hadn't been careful of his own thoughts. He knew, now, in the back of his mind that he didn't want to be a crow, but a human again. Joining Ludovich while they ate, he was silent, unable to really confirm or deny his desire to be human again.

Corvus hadn't realized his fever had gone down, forgetting about it since he fell. Rubbing his bare forearms, he couldn't quite come to terms with being without the belts as clothing. He had worn them practically all his life except the very beginning of being human. After eating, Crow would lay on the couch, waiting for time to go by. He wasn't easily bored, but he never really did anything either except probably talk the poor man's ear off he now lived with. The dusk was coming, and he couldn't wait.

Sitting up, Corvus stretched his arms. "Why don't we go now? We can catch the first light of stars if we leave now." He said with excitement in his voice. He smiled wide, wanting to catch the stars peeking through the dusk one by one. It was a beautiful sight he wanted to share with Ludovich.

Ludovich~Arneson

It takes two to murder

Ludovich smiled at the glimmer of happiness that seemed to appear in his eyes as the stars were brought up. Just as he had guessed, it seemed to have cheered up the depressed man. Ludovich listened carefully as he brought up the constellation that he was named after and felt the other lightly peck him on the cheek. As usual, a light pink tint appeared on Ludovich's cheeks at this. Ludovich quickly hurried into the next room to hide the embarrassment and to finish their meal. The noodles were quickly taken off of the stove and drained, the vegetables and chicken stirred, and the sauce poured onto of all of them to give it that added taste. Once he was finished, a sort of stir fry sat in front of him.

A soft smile graced his lips at the smell and the food was carefully dished into two equal portions. Ludovich then peered his head into the next room. "The food is ready," he called before taking a seat in his chair. Once there, he twirled the noodles around his fork and took the first bite. The taste made him happy that he had spent the money on better ingrediants rather than being cheap, as he usually would. It tasted amazing.

After the two of them finished eating, Ludovich carefully washed the dishes before taking some time to relax on the couch. The young man closed his eyes some, just appreciating the silence. The two of them continued like this for quite some time before Corvus finally broke the silence. At the man's words, Ludovich peeked his eye open and looked over to him. He listened carefully to him speak before nodding some. "Sounds like a plan," he said as he rose from his spot. "So, where are we heading?"

((short, but I'll make it up~ ;D))

Crow enjoyed just sitting with the man in silence, but this particular time was dragging on. He wanted to sprout his wing and go touch the moon, but neither was it time yet nor could he open his wings. When he suggested his idea to Ludovich, the other had asked him where… Corvus, frowned some. He hoped it wouldn't be too difficult a spot for the man to reach, on the top of that building… Or even for him without his feathers. After he stratched, Corvus stood up quickly. "We have to go a few blocks from here, on the roof!" he exclaimed with a smile. "We'll have to climb the building before it to get there." He added, turning around to smile at Ludovich. He took the man's hands and pulled him gently, tugging towards the door. Just follow me." He said quickly before heading out the door without another word.

He hadn't checked to see if the man was even still behind him. Crow walked on quickly with his long legs. He was weary of the streets but his new more human look made him feel better about just walking about normally. He looked up at the apartment complex that reached to the stars. "There!" He said enthusiastically, mostly to himself. He smiled wide and moved between buildings in the alley, climbing the short wall to get to the smaller roof. Making it up, he scouted the area, making sure he hadn't lost Ludovich anywhere as he climbed to the highest point. Sitting, he waited, both for the other man and for the first sign of starlight to peek through the blanket of sky.

Ludovich nodded softly at the other's words and started following after him. At first, he had a bit of an issue keeping up with him, considering that the Corvus' strides were so much bigger than his, but he quickly adjusted his speed to keep up with him. As he followed him, Ludovich stayed quiet and just tried to memorize their current path for future reference. He took signs and other monuments into memory before hearing the other finally announce that they were there. Ludovich looked upwards at the place where he was looking at before nodding some. He then continued following the other, careful not to trip or fall as he climbed.

It took Ludovich a good while to get up to the place, but once he did, he found that the effort he put into it was worth it. The view from the top of the building was marvelous. The smog of the city seemed thinner in this place and the moon could be clearly seen above. A soft smile graced his lips at the sight. "This place is gorgeous."

Crow smiled, sitting up as he looked at the sky, waiting for the first glimmers of light to show. When Ludovich joined him, he moved closer, smiling brightly. The dust grew darker, shining the stars bit by bit in a slow process. Corvus hadn't spoken a word, only watched the sky he was so engaged in. The stars glimmered and shone through, growing brighter and brighter. Corvus laid back, relaxing as he watched the sky with a serene look on his face. The moon shone brightly overhead, complimenting the sky marvelously. "Isn't it pretty…?" Crow whispered, afraid if he spoke to loudly the sky as he knew it would shatter. His features softened, his eyes fixated on finding the constellations.

The moon was so brightly shining on them, he could see nearly as well as daylight. But it could also be he was still somewhere part crow. Despite the glow of the moon, he could find each shape in the sky perfectly.

He stared in silence, reading the stories, making sure he had them in his head. After a long while, he looked over to Ludovich and reached to grab his hand, pulling it up to point at the stars. "Here." He murmured, tracing a small square. Next to it was a long and jagged string with a loop. "That's Corvus… And the Hydra…" He smiled and held onto Ludovich's hand tightly before telling his story about the Crow and Apollo, even if the other already knew. His eyes were so fixated on the constellations, he forgot he was still clinging to the man's hand.

"I wonder why Corvus was punished… One tale he was just a bit late, the other he was loyal and told his master the truth…"" He couldn't quite grasp the punishment of the crow in the story, but smiled nonetheless.

Catching a shooting star by the moon, he accidentally yanked at Ludovich's arm to point. "I'm sorry…!" He said quickly. "I always wondered… Why do stars fall? Are they banished because they sinned?" He asked, wondering if the other knew the answer. He always heard things of the like about shooting stars and wondered about it himself. "There must be some new explanation for it, right..? Human technology advancing.. It takes away from beauty, now…" Corvus gave a disappointed sigh. He had always thought curiosity existed for imagination, but humans had always wanted to learn.. A nice quality, but it had been destroying the beauty of things. The smog covering the sky, the colours in the water, the imagination and belief in faith. Still, no matter how much he missed the old days of the new world, he enjoyed this time now.

The black bird made Ludovich trace a few other constellations, repeating their names and their intertwining stories. The famous Perseus, Hercules, the beautiful chained princess… The stars were so vast, those stories alone filled the sky with their counterparts. Each month, a new book, or actually rather old, would shine through beside the moon.

Crow squeezed the other's hand lightly, his expression longing. "I've always wished to be a little star… A part of a story like those above." He revealed to the man. "My own chapter in the sky… But I'm no hero or pet of any gods." With that said, he silenced himself, feeling a little bitter taste in his mouth. In all honesty, he felt a little heartbroken over the fact he wouldn't claim a little spot in the sky so miraculously. Either great sinners or great heroes live there in remembrance.

Turning to face Ludovich, Crow released his hand and touched his face gently. He stole another little peck before curling up on his side. He smiled again, looking up, trying hard not to give off an air of melancholy. "We should go back, at least before the dawn…" He suggested quietly. He would hate to keep Ludovich up so early. And besides, the stars are there every night. A couple of hours less wouldn't kill him.

Ludovich~Arneson

It takes two to murder

Ludovich just sat there silently for the longest time, trying his hardest to find the constellations that Corvus had told him about. No matter what he did though, he could find no pictures in the stars. They all just looked like speaks to him. A sigh escaped his lips at this and he stopped his search. He continued like this for awhile before finally hearing Corvus speak up. At this, he turned his vision from the sky to the other man. "Yes, it is. In fact, it's one of the prettiest things I've ever seen," he said happily before turning his vision to the sky again. He wondered perhaps if the way he saw this as beautiful was the same as how Corvus did. Ludovich like to think that they were seeing the same sight, but knew he was wrong. After all, the other could see all the constellations, all the stories. With this thought in mind, the contract killer put all of his focus on the stars, trying to unravel it's mysteries. He stared at them hard as if he was putting them under close inspection, but still found nothing.

Ludovich was just about to give up yet again, when he suddenly felt the other grab his hand. He nearly pulled it back out of surprise, but stopped himself before this action could be taken and just watched him trace the box. At this action, the picture suddenly seemed to form. A smile graced his lips at the sight. It was funny to think that it had been so simple to find this entire time. Despite the fact that he now knew where it was though, Ludovich refused to move his sight from it as the story was told. He feared that if he did, he would be unable to find it again. Ludovich thus just kept his eyes glued to it and listened carefully. "I think the greek gods just had something stuck up their a**," Ludovich said with a soft smile before looking over to Corvus.

He carefully traced the other's features as he thought before suddenly feeling his arm get yanked at. A look of surprise appeared on his features at this and he almost yelled. He stopped himself though as he noticed a shooting star go through the sky. Ludovich smiled some at the sight and just watched it. "It's alright," he said quietly before thinking some. "I'm not quite sure what the explanation of it it, but I don't really care. It makes it too complicated. I like to just watch it go down and perhaps make a wish."

Ludovich soon became silent again after that and gazed up to the sky above as Corvus moved his hand around again. He just sat there listening to the stories with a soft smile and enjoying his time. This soon ended though a a bit of sadness entered the crow's voice. "Maybe, if you're lucky. You can take a place there too. I mean you never really know what will become of you in another life, so for all you know, you could be a star," he said, hoping that his words would cheer him up some.

It was then that he felt the other lightly touch his face. At this, his gaze moved to him and he watched him carefully. When the small peck was given, a tint of pink appeared on his cheeks and he quickly turned his visions up to the sky. It was then that he heard the other speak of getting back. Ludovich shook his head some at this and looked down to him. "I want to stay and watch the sunrise from here. Can we please stay until then?"

Corvus smiled supressing a laugh with Ludovich's comments. And secretly hoped there were no deities left to strike him down for it. His little comments made him smile each time. He was so fixated on the stars he hadn't taken a look at the man under the moonlight. At the mention of the falling star, Corvus sighed with nod. Explanations overcomplicate things. But making a wish? Corvus wondered about it and thought to himself, closing his eyes for his own wish to come true. He had many little hopes, but only one mattered most to him, now.

Ludovich's reassurance made the crow smile brightly again. In another life, maybe he could be a star among the ones up there. "It might be lonely," He whispered. "But maybe you could be one, too. Then it wouldn't be so bad." He added sincerely. He was quiet until the man answered his question. "Yes.. We can stay as long as you like…"

Crow quietly stared, seeing the stories in front of him. He was content and very happy to have shared them with Ludovich. When the other was closer, the fey wrapped an arm around him. "If it rains.. I hope I can all my wings…" He murmured, still worried about his re-metamorphosis. He wanted to take his mind off of it, and looked toward his namesake star pattern. He wanted to thank Ludovich again for the given name, but decided not now, or yet. His mind wouldn't stop thinking, as much as he wanted to clear his thoughts. How long would this man be given to live? He was sure he could feel a bad omen surrounding them, wondering when either of them would be hit with it. The thought of losing Ludovich worried him. He hadn't has a close friend since the new world. Never had he had a human mate, either.

Worried by his own thoughts, Corvus clung to the killer, his head pressing against the man's side. Other than that, he simply waited, watching the stars and the moon. He could swear he saw the shadow of the moon moving so slowly. The dawn was creeping up to the sky and the stars were barley fading. The pinkish hue, slightly dirtied by the smog, still looked wonderful. The mixture of colours were just as beautiful as the dark blue holding the tiny slivers of light. The moon was still there but seemed so much farther, now. It was then he could feel his feathers, ever so slightly, coming back. At least along his arms. Smiling, he was able to call them and blanket himself and Ludovich with his sleek wings. The cracks of the sun were rising. The sounds of the city sparked with dogs barking and more frequent honking of cars. "Ludovich…? We should go now." He whispered, reluctant to even try to move.
