I would love to get in on this tournament this time around. I have a copy of Pokemon White.
I have a team already started, so once the tournament rolls around they will be close to finished, if not finished completely. As for their levels, level grinding is no problem since they practically give you a lucky egg in this game. n_n
Someone already called electric. As much as I love electric Pokemon, when sign ups start, I'm going with Bugs for the sake of diversity. We got some interesting additions to the bug type this gen and some of the veteran bugs have gotten some new toys to play with and look like a lot of fun. pirate

So I have a question, do all the pokemon in the gym leader's possession need to be from Gen 5 or can they be a mix?

Maximum the Zinc So I have a question, do all the pokemon in the gym leader's possession need to be from Gen 5 or can they be a mix? As long as they are not part of the ban list, you can use any pokemon that falls within the parameters of the elemental type you plan to use.

My best guess would be whatever the current Gen V banlist is on Smogon. I can't be bothered to find and link it, but I'm sure it shouldn't be hard to find on the forums there. Not to mention someone else will probably post it. I can, however, guarantee that anything with a BST of 680+ will be banned.

Looking at the list Garchomp is allowed.

Also, I don't see many of the competitors here having a V-Create Victini on them.

We'll probably keep the ban list consistent with Smogon, though Blaziken with Blaze is still usable. Queen Melethia Dagon Current Banned list by Smogon For those of you interested in playing on our OU ladder or in any of our OU tournaments, here is the running list of our bans: Items All items that increase Evasion (e.g. BrightPowder) Moves All moves that increase Evasion only (e.g. Minimize) All instant OHKO moves (e.g. Horn Drill) Abilities Moody Drizzle + Swift Swim on the same team Species Arceus Blaziken (The PGG will only be banning Speed Boost) Darkrai Deoxys-A Deoxys Dialga Giratina Giratina-O Groudon Ho-Oh Kyogre Lugia Manaphy Mewtwo Palkia Rayquaza Reshiram Shaymin-S Zekrom Suspected for future banning: Deoxys-E and Latios
