The time passed with Lexi alternating between covering her eyes and looking in awe at Tulip in her new clothing. It all seemed to suit her so well! The little Ralts couldn’t help but wonder what she would look like in clothing. Could she pull so many outfits off, like her new friend Tulip? Not that she though that clothing could fit her. She was far too small for even the oldest clothing that Celes had and she was completely unaware of dolls and that they wore clothing.
Tulip’s comment saddened Lexi. She had been completely unaware of the time, but, at the other girl’s mentioning of it, she assumed that meant that she would be leaving soon. “Does that mean you have to go?” Lexi asked, worried that she already knew the answer.

"Yeahm" Tulip sounded a little saddened herself, but tried to be chipper as she continued, "but don't worry, I'll come by and visit!" The Bulbagirl picked the Ralts up gingerly with her vines and brought her close, giving her a gentle hug. "Thank you for being my friend, Lexi, you're really cool!"

As Tulip brought her close, Lexi hugged the girl back as tight as her little arms could manage, which wasn't really all that tight. "You better come visit!" she exclaimed with a giggle. Smiling, she added, "You're really cool too!"

The Bulbasaur girl picked up the clothing articles and, still holding the Ralts, headed downstairs to find Celes. "I want to thank you for the hospitality, you've been so nice to me. I'll be taking these clothes... if you don't mind." She smiled happily. She was glad to find such a nice human in Celes and a great friend in Lexi. "I'm going to have to head home soon, I just wanted to thank you for everything."

Celes, who had been seated at the table, and was sipping some tea, replied, “Oh, it’s no problem and I don’t mind, not at all. I’m glad you were able to find something you liked.” After a moment’s pause, she then added, “Feel free to come back and visit Lexi, anytime. She seems to enjoy your company; it’s good for her to be able to spend time with other Pokémon.”
Lexi, who was still in Tulip’s arms, couldn’t help but giggle at that. “See, Celes says you should come back and visit too!” She understood that her friend had to go, but she was already looking forward to their next meeting. Maybe she would even, one day, brave the forest and visit Tulip!

The Bulbagirl giggled at the Ralts' observation. "You're right." She set her friend down on the table that Celes was sitting at and sighed, smiling sadly. "I guess I better head back home. Thank you again." With a heavy sigh, she readjusted her items and exited the home, hoping to see it again soon.

“Goodbye Tulip!” Lexi exclaimed, waving frantically, as her new friend left. After the door was shut, she carefully, but quickly, scurried down, off the table, and over to the window. Pulling herself onto the ledge, she watched her friend go. She couldn’t wait to see Tulip again; she hoped it would be soon.
