He tilted his head when she picked up some dirt and scrubbed her hands. The goo didn't bother him and he didn't think that it would bother her. So he was curious as to why she was using dirt like water or those sudsy things. He smiled at her dirty hands and shook his head. She needed to get those hands clean... not to mention his face.
He looked around, listening and sniffing, trying to see if he could find where water was. He didn't smell anything and listening didn't help either. So he finally took her hand and began leading her the way they had come. Surely there must be a stream or pond or some kind of water near the grassy place.

Taking Calder's hand with a content purr, she toddled along next to him, eyes sweeping around to look at the scenery. It still mostly consisted of the flower stalks and dirt, but it was interesting nonetheless. A few bugs hummed around their heads, of many shapes and sizes, but she kept moving to follow the boy's lead.

After taking a few unnecessary turns he led them out of the sunflower patch. It was a different spot than where they had entered but it wasn't too far away. He looked around again trying to catch some hint of water. When he didn't he looked at her. Maybe she knew where some was? He made a drinking motion to her and waited.

Content with walking around, she hadn't realized their true goal until they emerged and Calder made the drinking motion. Water! She grinned in understanding, but then her ears fell, her head shaking slowly. She certainly didn't know where they were.

Calder's ears perked up when he saw the look of understanding dawn on her. They quickly fell when hers did. She didn't know where it was from where they were. He frowned trying to think of a way to ask. He pointed back in the direction he thought they had entered the patch and tilted his head. Would she know if they were at the place they were at earlier?

Following where his hand pointed, she cocked her head in though. Back the way they'd come? Ears still uncertainly low, she shrugged, babbling softly. It wouldn't hurt to try, so she tugged his hand and headed back into the flowery forest.

Calder stayed his ground when she began heading back into the flower patch. Her hand was quickly slipping from his. He had meant to walk back outside of the flower patch. He didn't bring them out too far, at least that's what he thought. Going back into the flowers would only confuse them more. Out here they could see more details about where they were going.

Going a few steps into the towering flowers, she perked her ears and turned around. Why wasn't he coming? Had she misunderstood? Ducking her ears back down, she scurried back to Calder's side and took his hand again, eyes watching him expectantly.

He refrained from shaking his head when she came back. He then began leading her back in the direction they had entered the flowers only sticking to the outside of them. He made sure they did stick close to them as they were a good landmark for them to use.

Her ears perked back happily as they walked around the flowers. Out here, the sun lit the cheery yellow petals and made then glow. She purred as they walked, holding tightly to Calder's hand so she wouldn't get lost.

He wasn't paying attention to how the flowers looked in the sunlight. He was focused on finding the spot they had met at. There were any clues to it other than a flowering bush and some trampled grass. Of which there was plenty of flowering bushes and trampled grass was hard to spot cause the grass tended to bounce back up after a few minutes. If he couldn't find the right bush they would end up lost.

Reaching out to pluck a few flowers from one of the bushes, she held them up to her nose and sniffed gently. Grinning, she held the delicate flowers out for Calder's approval. She babbled happily, telling him how nice they smelled and how pretty they were.

He looked at the offered flower and smiled. He took it and sniffed it. He nodded and held it back out to her. He paused for a second before putting it in her hair with the rest of the flowers there. He smiled and nodded. It looked very pretty there.
Focusing again on where he was leading them he hoped he could find their way back. He began frowning as he looked around. His eyes settled on her again and something clicked. The flower bush he is looking for has little white and red flowers on it! There weren't many of them around here!

Blinking, she tilted her head to look up at the flower in her hair. She grinned happily, purring appreciatively. Perking her ears as his mood suddenly changed, she smiled curiously, tilting her head.

Calder looked at Glorianna when she began purring and smiled at her tilted head. Yes he knew where they were going! He began checking the bushes closely looking for the one with white and red flowers. It took a while, and quite a bit of walking, to find it. When he finally reached it, he grinned at her and pointed. This was where they started at!
His little celebration was cut short when he heard something in the distance. His ears cocked and swiveled. It sounded a lot like..... Oh no! His eyes grew big and he began looking around. Cherish was up and clearly looking for him. He waved at her and then pointed in the direction he had originally come from when they first met. He was trying to tell her that he needed to leave before Cherish found him.
